Sorry I couldn't answer all that in your comments so here we go...
I'm now in Shiraz and I study in one of the gifted schools (schools for people with high IQ). And yes, I tried to read all the books written by old Iranian poets (that's why my writings are poetic). My favorite poet is Ferodosi and I have memorized several of his long poems. I don't like Iranian pop singers (I think they are all clowns and talentless) but I love Iranian rap singers. My favorite rapper is Yas. I like him for this because his songs are meaningful and he plays with words very well. Also, he is someone who is very close to people and sings about the pain of Iranian people. Also, he doesn't look for arguments and fights with others, and he never swears in his songs (he either doesn't diss anyone or diss all the singers in one song). He is also a bit handsome and unlike other singers, he has a healthy body and is not addicted to drugs or alcohol. My favorite song of him is beem, it's about after Mahsa Amini's death.

I'm also from Shiraz, born there and a lot of my family still lives there, looks like we're همشری XD. OMG, my bestie is totally a genius, I'm so PROUD of you!!💞💞💞 I love Ferdosie's stories, the story of Zahhak and Fradoon is my favorite. I've yet to fully read any of the famous poems/poets' works as my reading skills are super limited 🤣🤣 I love how passionate you are about him bestie!! It's so cute!!😍💞😍💞 Always good to have a celebrity crush who's also a good influence. I personally listen to a lot of the classical music like Darius and Shakila. Old school I know but I've got super fond memories of them lol.

Very beautiful old song with Gholām-Hossein Banān ( (1911-1986), one of the most prominent Iranian singers of the last century (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gholam-Hossein_Banan).
From the youtube channel Guard of Iran.

For this weeks Persian music we've got Homayoun Shajarian, the son of famous composer Mohammad-Reza Shajarian. This is from the soundtrack for the movie Arayeshe Ghaliz (Heavy Makeup), which he composed.

Firdawsi in an Audience with Sultan Mahmud of Ghazna Iran, Ifshahan
1615-1625, The David Collection, 133/2006
The instruments pictured are the barbat (lute) and daf (frame drum).
An Iranian-American friend, who plays the oud, quoted Hafiz to me. I paraphrase: the oud (barbat) and daf intoxicate more sweetly than alcohol, but this is a secret known only to musicians.

« Ayy Yorum Biyo » by the legendary Tajik singer Muboraksho.
In 2009 the Iranian group Kiosk covered this song in the Iranian dialect               ( « Yarom Bia » ) with the help of the Sufi artist Mohsen Namjoo. The group preserved the Tajik origins of the song and paid tribute to Muboraksho by keeping the lyric « از بدخشانمه ... ( ...from Badakhshan ) » and featuring clips from Soviet director Sergei Parajanov’s 1969 film « The Colour of Pomegranates (Цвет граната) » in the music video.
