A PRAYER FOR THE FUTURE An afternoon with Abang Kieu . I had the pleasure of photographing @abangkieu recently, and not only was a beautiful human, but had quite a remarkable story. . Abang was born in Sudan during the Second Sudanese Civil War which lasted for 22years (1983-2005) At the age of five, Abang and his family were able to claim asylum and move to Norway. . Once the initial culture shock subsided and he climatized to the contrasting environment, Abang immerse himself in all the opportunities that his new home could give him, and found a deep passion for engineering in high school, and an interest in the excavation of oil and minerals which are a major industry in both Sudan and Norway. This later led him to study Oil & Gas management here in the UK. . Abang was discovered by @elitemodelworld while working security to help pay for his degree, two years ago, at a festival in Tottenham. . Speaking to him about his plans to for the future and how he intends to curb and better manage our global dependence on these finite resources, I was truly inspired by his passion and positive view for the future.
