I have so many "unpopular opinions" about Tugger because no one understands him like I do /lh
So let's start with the annoying trope of making Tugger's entire personality centered around Misto. It's annoying to see these "incorrect Jellicle quote" blogs make bad joke post after bad joke post about Tugger being so desperate for Misto's attention. Like his entire reason for existing is only Misto. I get they aren't mean to be taken seriously, but Tugger has so many other relationships with the other cats in the tribe, so seeing him just being boiled down to "Loser Cat Who Just Wants The Magic Boy's Attention And Nothing Else" is obnoxious and out of character.
#and don't get me started on posts about Misto being annoyed at Tugger#how you going to ship them and hc them as mates while also making misto constantly annoyed at tugger#make it make sense

I have an idea....
So this uses the song "Surface Pressure" from Encanto. The one singing is Munkustrap while the one listening is Tugger.
In this case, Tugger learns how the pressure of being the Protector of the tribe really affects Munkustrap. Which in turn helps Munkustrap understand that Tugger is his brother and will support him no matter what. Which also includes helping Munkustrap take some of the burdens or even spreading them out with others. It's a process but it takes a long bit.
