After seeing wavytam's theory, it occurred to me something. Judge said he wanted revenge on the other North Blue kings, with the implication that it had something to do with the former Germa Empire.
From the sound of it, this implies that the other kings somehow conspired together, and... I don't know, set the WG on Germa, perhaps?
See, when they talked about the Vinsmoke family having "conquered the North Blue". This seems to be talking about a ridiculously old period of time, since Yonji (or Reiju?) said that "at one time" (it says "during a certain era" ある時代の in the raw).
I'm guessing this must be talking about the Germa Empire from the past. It's probably not Judge's conquest of the 4 kings, or they'd have said "in my father's time". Even if the translation is wrong and it's someone else talking (in the anime, the one who was talking is Pekoms), ある時代の still implies something that happens ages ago, not just a few years or decades or so ago.
Brook said they "conquered the North Blue with military might", so I'm assuming this is why the other kingdoms don't like them for it.
Sure, if we believe the story at face value, what Germa did sounds terrible. Conquering territories sounds like tyranny.
Still, we now know from Kuma's backstory that the whole story of "Tyrant Kuma" is nonsense told to WG by the former king that he toppled. So did the other kings also went running to WG, told them a bunch of nonsense, and got Germa wiped?
Also, you know. This is not helping the conspiracy I had involving, ah, a certain historical figure. That certain someone was naturally disliked for "conquering the neighbouring lords by military might" *ahem*, but for the time? It was necessary. The nation is basically chaos, and so his conquest was intended to bring peace and stabilise the nation.
If the North Blue countries was also similarly in utter chaos, and Germa empire was what brought the wars to stop, I would sit here and laugh.
It's phrased differently but that certain someone's "slogan" was commonly interpreted in Japan to mean "unite/conquer the nation by military might".
I'm probably the only person who sees nonsense samurai connections here, so I'm most likely wrong, because by all the visible markers, Germa is based on the German Empire.
And since I'm already blathering absurdity here, I'll go ahead and mention it. The aforementioned historical person was infamous for setting things on fire, but arguably, what he set fire on was an establishment mired with corruption. A "purifying flame" so to speak.
Which brings to mind the "Garuda", the divine being who carries purifying flames. Is "Garuda" supposed to be Sanji's "final form"? That would be a slap in the face to Judge, if that were true.
I once alluded on Twitter that Sanji is very reminiscent of this trope of "the chosen one was thought to be a nobody, and becomes an outcast" that's increasingly becoming rather popular in manga and light novels (especially in isekai).
Basically the protagonist is actually the "chosen one", but due to various circumstances, their power didn't manifest correctly, or their power got stolen by someone else. As the result of this, the protagonist gets bullied, or gets chased away and suffers a hard life. Time passes, the protagonist eventually was able to come into their true powers, and well, the people who treated the protag poorly gets their asses handed to them.
You know.
It's just a shitpost, but suppose "Garuda" was some mantle/title that was inherited from that ancient era... the plot twist could be that Sanji is the "true Garuda" of Germa, whatever that ends up meaning.
Also even more plot twist would be if Sanji's powers were natural. Like, I once suggested that this was part of his modifications based on Lunarian template, but how crazy would it be if he was just naturally born with it?

i have a really hazy memory from my ADHD sadly and rely a ton on my brother and one of my besties whose memory is damn near perfect to keep my own story straight. but i definitely joined tumblr because of nerd word of mouth—i believe it was back in 2010 when i was working under the table at a local comic book store as a young teen!
i guess you could say my first fandom experience was with DC comics, pre-new 52 reboot. i was really into it on my own before joining tumblr so it was amaaazing to explore all of the fan content and finally connect with other people about an interest that was pretty solitary for me before that. the series “young justice” airing on cartoon network around that time helped expose a lot of new fans to the DC universe too! that was such a fun show. and i’m realizing now that the anon i replied to before this one asked about PAST fictional crushes of mine, and i totally fumbled on answering—i would have taken a god damn bullet for wally west during this era. i probably still would!
DC rebooted their entire comics lineup and retconned and fucked up everything i loved in 2011 and then young justice was cancelled not long after so that was kind of that for me. i became a generic superwholock shitposter for a while, then the homestuck era began :)
these days i still get hyperfixated on media but i feel like fandom has diminished a bit in that there aren’t tons and tons of people online with the same brainrot who want to gnash teeth and howl at the moon with me. maybe i’m missing out because i didn’t join twitter? but getting into gideon the ninth/the locked tomb has been really fun for me the last few weeks because there’s so much good art, fic, and engagement on here for it :)
as far as how life has changed—basically i just, grew up! i finished school, went to college in vermont. my mom passed away. came home and have been working random jobs. i live with my partner in a very small studio and really miss having a piano. but i still practice singing and mess around on my baritone uke. i’m 26 now, very much feeling like i’m in a waiting period before my real life starts. i wonder what will happen! :)

Megaman ZXA's Plot is Stupid
Worshipping Weil as some sort of source of power despite just being a bitter old man who somehow/somereason was given immortality as a fucking punishment. Man... there are so many things I want to ignore about the Z/ZX/ZXA timelines. I think that IntiCreates was just shitposting after a while. The whole magical girl transformation bit was stupid.
It still is stupid.
But it kinda isn't when it's done quickly?
I know the majority of the story and how it plays out due to talking to a number of people who have spoiled the game for me (because originally I was adamant about not playing the game). But... I gave in and started playing in Japanese. I really think Grey is the most adorable little ball of innocence. He reminds me of X almost? But... Model A... I hate him so fucking much I can't even begin to cover how much he's disappointed me. I think it did start all back during the Command Mission era, where I was first introduced to him beyond his music theme and illustrations back in 2000-who knows.
I rambled about it on stream for a hot minute comedically, but it is kinda depressing now.
I know there are plenty of Axl fans out there - I love how he is in the X series actually. Contrary to what I said in stream, I think he's... a cute addition to the tight two bros X and Zer. But Model A is just ANNOYING. He's... seemingly needing to be taught how to be ocnsiderate of others, as if he never has been? I know there's a suggestion that "he isn't axl tho" but I guess Prairie isn't Alouette either so forget whatever I have to say, right?
It's a dumb excuse. It's Axl. We all know it's Axl. Axl made by an alt universe Wily. Sure. Whatever.
I know I'm complaining about the game prematurely, but truthfully, I don't care. I'm at the point where the tru villain is revealed and he jumps out the window. That's where I am right now. And the plot up to this point is kinda dumb? Mega Men. Rock Men. Like, damn, Ciel what did you do?
And then the antagonist is like "i've been doing this shit for CENTURIES" which I guess makes sense? But there is an implication that Copy X kinda resided over the entirity of Neo Arcadia I thought? But Maybe that was over a century ago. Ciel's been """""""""missing""""""""" ( read as: dead ) for a long time by the point of ZX so ZXA could be even longer and further into the future.
I really wish there was a definitive timeline WITH DATES. Give me years, not just months and days. 20XX is cute and all but if you release a definitive timeline at least say how many years definitively are between each game. My complaint is just me being sleep deprived.
It's not that bad.
I just don't like it.

Ships include: Logicality (kinda going to be the focus), probably prinxiety and dukeceit, but there might be a bit of princeit. Logan acts as the "main character" seeing as he'll be around the longest, but all of them will be a focus.

Art Summary and Art vs Artist 2022
2022 Art Ramblings and Other Shenanigans:
A.) I am not speed
Whenever artists wanna try something new to improve their art, we tend to make big drastic changes right away. This can be effective for others but not for everyone. As you can see, my art style is still the same as last year with minimal tweaks.
I decided that if I'm gonna make improvements, I'm gonna do it gradually instead of incorporating them all at once. This can be a big help in maintaining consistency. If the changes were small, we can easily remember and apply them on our next artwork.
“So is it effective? Did your art improve?”
It’s barely noticeable but yes it did. I like the direction in which my art progress is currently going. I am at the point where I actually like my finished work more than my sketch. You know that meme where artists like their sketch more than their finished work bec it looks better? I don’t feel like that anymore and that surely tells something haha.
B.) I failed successfully
Last year, I made a pseudo new years' resolution where I said "I hope I can draw my ships, anime and original stuff" since I mostly did Genshin. Well, I successfully drew my ships, anime and original stuff this year HOWEVER I made less videos lol.
I tried doing 1-2 artworks in between videos but sometimes the artwork took me longer to finish so I wasn't able to make video content afterwards. Another thing was the fact that I sorta dedicated some months tryna help save our country but in the end we failed miserably... Anyways! Let's not talk about that here.
Even though I made less videos, I managed to make 2 impactful videos which contributed a lot to my channel's growth this year. One of them is now my most viewed video.
C.) I wanna delete everything
Checking other artists' IG accounts makes me want to turn my account into an art only account. But then again I know I'll be having the urge to shitpost and post irl stuff every now and then so as much as I wanted to be one of those mysterious artists who only post/talk about their art, I can't lmao.
I feel like there's a lot of pressure on the artists who only post art related stuff bec people will always be expecting you to post art or even if they don't, you yourself might think they expect you to. And this kinda contributes to being burnt out somehow.
Whenever I am on the verge of deleting everything (except art) I remind myself that it's fine even if I ain't one of those cool artists accounts. I am human and I do other human activities too besides drawing. It's like taking a breather I guess.
"Make 2 accounts, one art and one personal"
Not everyone has the capacity to manage 2 accounts in one platform when you’re already managing other accounts on other platforms. Even if you did, most people who followed you for your art won't give a fuck about your personal one which kinda defeats the purpose haha.
I know this is not applicable to all artists, especially the professionals/veterans. But for hobbyists like me, maybe you should consider this. I am not forcing you to post personal stuff bec I know not everyone likes that. I'm just saying that it's important to emphasize every once in a while to your audience that you are human too and not just an art producing machine.
D.) I miss time traveling
Long time ago, during my Deviantart days, I used to type a bunch of shit in the description box of my artworks. Then came the Tumblr era where I continued to blog my heart out. When these platforms "died" and Twitter and IG migration happened, I slowly stopped doing this without me noticing it.
I still say things on Twitter but since there's a limit and making threads is a pain in the ass, I ain't as expressive as before. And these platforms (Twitter and IG) made me adapt to its "culture" of short tweets/captions or sometimes nothing at all, just pictures. Which was great! I mean not everyone needs to know your entire business on the interweb right lol.
But as time passed by, I began to realize that I love backreading (I dunno if this is the right term) whatever shit I used to talk about in the past. It's actually amusing no matter how cringe, happy or lonely it was. However, since transferring to Twt and IG, I can no longer go back to a certain period in my life to reminisce what the hell I was thinking, doing and feeling that time because I got nothing to backread and that made me kinda sad?
Even though I am still bad with words, I am trying my best to resurrect my old self here in IG (just less cringe and more careful this time). Don’t worry I am not going to make long posts everyday lmao.
"Nobody's gonna read all that"
True. HOWEVER my future self would and I think that's more important. It's the same as writing in your diary, you write for yourself first and foremost.
“Why don’t you just go back to Tumblr to blog”
My time on Tumblr has passed. Whatever good or bad memories I have there, I just wanna keep them as they are and no longer add some haha. I still love the platform and post my artworks there tho.
Conclusion:
Art progress and channel growth did great this year. Tho I fell short in terms of quantity of my video content, the quality compensated. I am not gonna make any pseudo new year’s resolutions this year. All I can say is I have a lot of ideas and I hope I can execute them.

I just wanna scream at my screen because this is honestly so unbelievable to me.
I did it.
The thing I wanted most from this stupid game.
I am released.
2798 tries (x2 beacuse I always bonus rolled). My entire account was 45 characters all parked camping this boss once a week to try for the loot. It was a meme. An inside joke by myself to myself in which there were no winners, only losers honking their clown noses. Ten fucking years, every single week my sub was active, every single character that was high enough level did this farm. Over and over again. I got the other 3 world boss mounts years ago, but Sha remained, unmoved and uncaring.
My spare gametime was spent leveling NEW characters to add to the count. That is hardly an exaggeration. This has utterly consumed me for a decade. I wasn't even expecting to ever see it, honestly. I even started entertaining the conspiracy that it's not even added to the loot table actually.
This has been my #1 priority since Pandaria. No matter what else I did in the game, I made sure to log on and do my god damn mount run on everyone. My damn account looked like this for years. (x45)
I don't even know what to do with my life anymore. End of a fucking era.
So naturally, I become a walking shitpost.
I guess the sad news is from now on I have to actually PLAY the damn game, not just log in and afk camp a boss's spawn point for 15 hours a week.

TLDR version: I realized that I rarely draw anything these days, so to motivate myself to study and draw again I basically created an AU for the main purpose of using illustrations from early-to-mid 20th century as references and studies while doubling as ship art (by slapping the faces of those two dorks on them to encourage myself to make more)

Long, in-depth explanation of the AU + shitpost art under the cut
The main premise of this AU is that in 1960, 'Perseus', who had just became the leader of Collective, found himself to be in over his head with this newfound responsibility and needed all the help he can get, so he invited his longtime friend most trusted confidante Bell (who isn't Bell in this AU) to became co-leader with him because he can (my headcanon is that every Perseus can make their own rules and the next one can amend or remove it to their pleasure).
Other basic infos about this AU:
They both are the same age (b. 1921)
Crossed paths with each other multiple times during WWII (different unit)
Only became friends after the war when they found themselves working together in the same building
Mainly focuses on period between 1950s up to 1980s
For more than a decade now, I've always been fascinated with artworks from the Golden Age of Illustration (1880's - 1920's) up until 1960's, thanks to Black Ops 1 ironically lmao. Back in 2010 when I was obsessed with the game I was always on the Internet searching and learning everything that is related to the game's time period (fashion, music, art, events etc.). During that time I was exposed to artists like Al Parker along with Coby Whitmore, and I immediately became obsessed with the art style.
So other than me making up a reason to trawl the Internet again for good old retro illustrations like the old days and to draw these two in intimate poses (not that kind of intimate, if you catch my drift), I also made the AU set at this specific time period as a convenience to myself so that I don't have to spend extra time researching fashion trends or hairstyles in 1950's etc., because the illustrations that I'll be using as studies were already from that era 😎

At first, I wanted this to be a simple and self-indulgent AU complete with the usual slapstick comedy but I caught myself making it more complex and poignant through imagining both of them struggling to heal and navigate their lives together post-war + before & after de-Stalinization, so uhhh that's kinda cool and sad I guess
I even bought an art book hoping that it'll provide me with cool references and inspiration to draw them both along with making art of my mutuals' OCs

You're so incredibly sweet with your answer re: caps.
Honestly I'll tell you what the feeling I get as a reader as I scroll through texts (And I suppose it is, to some degree a feedback for you, as god knows it's really hard to get people reblog text / fic posts on tumblr) when I see someone posting without capitals, my first thought is "It's a shitpost" and while it certainly works for very short funny texts, it's not precisely the atmosphere I would look for in a fiction I'd dedicate time into reading.
I think to myself "It wasn't important enough for them to go over after the fact and edit the capital letters, so it's probably not so good to begin with, as they didn't show care in it." and so I usually would automatically scroll over, without looking. (Now, /this/ is a me thing, but I assume I'm not alone).
As of readability, it does make it harder to read, at least to me. There's no visible "break points" that you can easily see by the height and size difference, and so everything just goes ahead and ahead and ahead, and in long texts, it can become somewhat daunting.
And the most me-issues is, that I would often focus more on wanting to edit the letters than on actually reading hahah, but frankly, this is a personal reading experience.
I just find it (and I honest to god say it out of a good place) a shame, that you might lose readers or reblogs for such a minor reason.
I skipped your post about 3 times, until someone I like reblogged it and I said "Okay if they reblogged it, I have to actually take the minute to try it" And it was good! It was fun! It was well written! So it's like, the opposite from what the lack of this "I care to edit" passes through.
I worry about giving such feedback, as it really is none of my business, and if it's how you enjoy writing, then frankly? You do it any way /you/ want. I just feel like being a writer on tumblr is hard enough, and it's not often someone would actually tell you what turns them off your work without it being "personal" and "nasty".
So again, I hope I did not dim your spirits, and I enjoyed your writings, despite my OCD jumping up and down hahaha

This is definitely valid feedback and I'm glad to be having this conversation!
I feel like... I come at lowercase letters from the perspective of the sphere of say, poetry, where I don't think case affects meaning/validity/the gravity with which a work is perceived, as much. For example, I'm a big fan of ee cummings and I guess some MIGHT argue his work is less valid or less literary because of how he uses caps or lack thereof, but... I think it's harder to argue ee cummings is careless or that his work lacks substance, meaning, or emotional value due to stylistic/punctuation choices. He uses these choices very deliberately to evoke and add additional meaning. Granted I don't know that the lowercase adds meaning to my work but it is stylistic to some degree! I just think there is room, in so-called "Legitimate" writing, for intentionally deviating from the norms of things like capitalization and punctuation and things like that, which shouldn't necessarily delegitimize a piece of writing. Anne Carson just for example (because I just spent like a week reading her work for the mythology fic, haha) - an absolutely formidable scholar/classicist/translator, who does away with caps and punctuation all the time, and creates absolutely meaningful work that takes the classics (arguably super highbrow and bedrocks of the literary canon etc. etc.) into the modern era in really haunting and transformative ways that are still really relevant to our time.
I do think The Internet is definitely a different beast, though, and the norm of how text and writing are perceived online is different and online writing has evolved over time because of that into almost its own version of language, especially with meme culture, so that lowercase now = shitposting, which is a valid take for that context.
I will say on the topic of lowercase = lack of care, though, that—personally, even if I don't take the time at the end to go in and capitalize my letters, for me not doing so doesn't speak to lack of care about my writing at all. I care a lot (a lot!!!!! a really ridiculous amount, lmao) about words and when I write I try to communicate my care through diction and (hopefully!) atmosphere. I totally understand how that subconscious idea of lowercase = lack of care might make some people choose to discount my posts or my fics or scroll by them, which is their absolute choice and which I respect! I do sincerely hope that if people choose to read what I write, the love I put in comes across.
In terms of readability - I totally understand how not having the visual difference of caps vs. no caps makes things harder to read. As someone with a pretty horrendous glasses prescription sometimes when I'm looking at my screen, things like contrast and certain colors etc. make things harder to read, so I get that. I try not to make my paragraphs too long, to avoid walls of text, because that makes perfect sense as well. I think on the printed page, it's a little different, because you have the option of things like serifs, and line weight, and things like that to make things a little easier to make out.
Anyway, all this to say - my spirits aren't dimmed, especially because I think you explained this thoughtfully! I appreciate the feedback on what appeals/doesn't appeal to others about my writing! I'm really honored you chose to read my posts after all despite being turned off by the lowercase and I'm really glad that you enjoyed them. <3

——— BASICS !
(PEN)NAME: Rae. At least that’s what I use for tumblr and discord: other platforms have other ones.
PRONOUNS: She/her. And tbh, I really prefer you use she/her with me. I’m not offended by they/them, but some health issues and constant bullying in my younger years makes me very sensitive to he/him.
ZODIAC SIGN: Leo-Virgo cusp. And it fits too perfectly.
TAKEN OR SINGLE: Very much taken. I got engaged right before COVID hit in early 2020 and my fiancé and I closed/moved into our first house together last month. He is also very nerdy but text-based RP isn’t his thing (he’s more into video games, computer games, and D&D). Besides that, he’s a popular Twitter shitposter. It’s funny because pretty much the same drama that unfolds on Twitter happens on Tumblr so we compare notes and facepalms. And while I’m sometimes active on Twitter and his group chat, he’s never made an appearance over here (yet).
——— THREE FACTS !
Some of the jobs I’ve held in my life include: personal trainer, makeup artist, fashion show dresser, fashion show model, census enumerator, blogger, and now I work in marketing and communications. Funny enough, my university major is not in any of these (this is what happens when you graduate during a recession).
I used to lift a lot of very heavy weights with the intention of competitive powerlifting. But I had a trainer I just didn’t get along with and so it turned me off from the gym for awhile. I’ve yet to find a new gym that works for me (and I didn’t have time during the past few months due to the house hunt + work + writing here). Currently to get the extra weight I’ve gained off, I take consistent walks near the park I now live by (very charming! I just stay away from the food trucks during the evenings), eat a very low calorie diet, and corset train (I’ve done corset training on and off for years but got more into it during COVID and working from home more often).
My current project is overhauling one of the spare bedrooms in the new house to become my walk-in closet. I’m working with a closet company for the design and install, and it’s very exciting (mostly because I purged so much before moving that 1. I don’t need to do that and 2. Everything is still mostly organized in boxes)! I’m not much for interior décor but picking out a throw rug and choosing new hangers? Fun! After that, it’s heading to IKEA or The Container Store to build out my cosplay storage space.
——— EXPERIENCE !
PLATFORMS USED: AOL chatrooms, AIM, Yahoo!Groups, YIM, Livejournal/Deadjournal/Greatestjournal, online forums, email, and Tumblr. I missed the Myspace/Facebook era of RP due to being in uni and not having the time for it.
To that end, I’ve been roleplaying longer than some muns have been alive. But for a concrete number...I think I can trace my first RP account to the year 2000. Remembering my first muses and plots, that sounds about right.
——— MUSE PREFERENCE !
GENDER: Mostly female muses. It’s not that I can’t write male muses, I can and I have. I just generally don’t enjoy it as much, and I find more female muses that inspire me to write than male ones. I do bring in male muses as more NPC/side characters though. I think those are important for building upon a muse’s life and connections! No muse is an island (unless you’re roleplaying as an island. Then by all means!).
LEAST FAVOURITE FACE(S): I don’t really have faceclaims I dislike specifically, but there are series I despise. Mostly I get confused when I see faceclaims from very popular franchises being used for OCs and I’m just “Yeah, I’m pretty much always going to see them as the canon muse.” Danganronpa especially throws me on this. My least favorite anime of all time is Death Note so I tend to cringe whenever I see muses with those FCs, I guess.
MULTI OR SINGLE: Single blog. Single blog always. For one, I tend to hyperfocus on writing a muse for many years where blogs are concerned (for things like forums or chatrooms, it’s easier to try out new things). But mostly, I’d feel bad if I had a multi and I was only wanting to really write 1 or 2 muses on it, especially if muns were requesting others.
——— FLUFF / ANGST / SMUT ! ♡
FLUFF: Yes, but usually shorter threads or as part of a bigger plot. I do like seeing muses happy! But I also think in a long-term, larger story with my threads most of the time, especially if our muses have a close dynamic: best friends, found family, romance are the big ones. If the only interaction is fluff, I get bored: there has to be some sort of conflict, problem to solve, etc. And not necessarily between the muses! It can be something they’re both having to face together.
ANGST: Love it, but don’t love it for the sake of being edgy. Considering that I write Sonia and SDR2 happened though? Any post-game thread will likely have angst. I don’t want every interaction to be angst but I do like having some of it in there.
SMUT: I do like smut. I do write smut on occasion, but I don’t enjoy writing porn without plot. I’m a much bigger fan of a well-written intimacy scene from a skilled romance writer than something that reads too pornographic. I don’t write these too often because I’m a fan of slow-burns and dislike most smut memes: it just feels strange sending it in for random sexytimes. I don’t write smut that often, mostly because many of my muse’s ships aren’t at that stage and/or the mun I’m writing with doesn’t want to write it. If that changes, I’d consider making a sideblog for those threads.
PLOT / MEMES: Plot OOC but send memes that look interesting. In most cases, I think threads turn out more engaging and fun when there’s plotting involved but that’s me!
