may i request a platonic relationship with rei and ritsu as their youngest sibling who is cheerful and more energetic than the two? they still have the sakuma's illness but their youngest sibling would suddenly get bursts of energy to do some silly stuff (kinda like leo lol).

might i add, because of the unusual action of the youngest sibling, the sakuma family (aside from rei and ritsu) sees them like an alien. reader is secretly hurt and sad because of this, since theyre being treated like an outsider. though they dont particularly show it, but rei and ritsu knows and continues to stick by their side.

Another Sakuma sibling… you are so much different from your older brothers! You were talkative and always got along with everyone and even their unit mates and friends~ Lucky!

There are times where you randomly appear on either Ritsu's or Rei's practices but they don't mind, really, they want your company anyways and it's good to see you hanging out and deciding to watch them do their practice because it boosts their morale. (They want to show off in front of their sibling)

Ritsu turns you into his pillow when you decide to visit him one time saying, “I can't find Maa-kun anywhere, but you'll do. ♪” Izumi would scold Ritsu for slacking off the practice again, and… you as well. Since you appeared, Izumi would scold you for interrupting their practice and you could've just visited them when it's their break time, so Izumi told you their schedule so the next time you'll arrive is at their breaks. (Which you didn't follow)

You and Leo would be great buddies! Seriously, Izumi acts like a mother to the both of you since you two are talking about aliens and how Leo got abducted by aliens. Leo would get mad at Izumi whenever he asks you to leave, “Hey Sena! Don't make her leave!" Izumi would just sigh in disappointment because it would mean their practice will be cancelled.

Arashi will be your best friend as well! She would gladly help you out if you have troubles, or advice that you needed and if you needed someone to let out your problems and feelings whenever your brothers are busy~ (I love her sm)

Tsukasa… Well, at first, he adores you! If you like sweets, the two of you will go to various candy/cakes/sweet shops and again, you'll get scolded by Izumi alongside Tsukasa. If you're not a fan of sweets, Tsukasa completely understands it! But that doesn't change the fact that he will at least try to make you like sweets.

Now for Rei! Everytime you visit your oldest brother, he doesn't mind it when you barge into the rehearsal room, “Kukuku, how did my precious youngest sibling find me~?” He would joke about it but he is still happy you decided to visit him!

Now if you're the same age as Ritsu but maybe a year or 2 younger?? Kaoru would try to hit on you, honestly. Rei wouldn't like it and he doesn't want his youngest sibling to be tainted by Kaoru! Adonis always teaches you about some knowledge of his hometown outside Japan and if he ever got the chance, he would make you taste one of specialties! As for Koga, he's pretty surprised that someone like Rei who has a pretty mysterious personality is so different from him! He would be confused, but in the end, he would be on good terms with you. :3

There are times when you're out in the sun for too long, or tiring yourself, you would collapse. You inherited the illness as well, and Leo would get worried and will have a mental crisis trying to bring you to a shaded area as much as possible. And a few seconds later, you would be back to normal! ..just avoid staying in the sun for too long.

Due to you being pretty much different from the Sakuma's, your family members sees you as an outcast and disgrace because of how outgoing you are. You can't help but feel sad and disappointed at their words. (You would rant at Arashi about this and she feels bad for you!) But you also can't help wondering what if your older brothers think the same as them? You're worried that they're just faking their personalities to go along with yours.

Now, Rei and Ritsu don't really know the problems you're going through, but somehow when one of the Sakuma member told how “disgraceful” and “a shame to the family”, their blood boils, how can they call you with those words?! The two of them would comfort you and Ritsu would most probably hug while Rei pats your back, saying comforting words.

You don't deserve to be called like that after all, there's different types of people, they would encourage you to keep doing what you like since that's your own way and they would support you like a good brother they are!

At the first signs of the evening fading into the night, Mitsuki realised that it was time to close the shop. There had been many customers today as new albums had arrived this morning, but now that their limited stocks of deluxe editions had dwindled the onslaught of clients had decreased too. They could open up earlier than usual tomorrow, if need be.

"Need a hand, Koga-san?" she heard Aya's cheery voice.

"I'll appreciate it Oosawa-san!" she called back, and went about tidying the shop. Her uncle had left it in her care for the evening as he had to go somewhere, no doubt on an impromptu date, with Kanna-san.

She guided Aya with the boxes and where she ought to place them and began sweeping the floors. Aya, now familiar with the shop, got out one of the deluxe edition CDs of the latest album of Linkin Park- Papercuts- and set it in the music player system. It had been long since she last heard a Linkin Park creation. Soon the sounds of metal clashing could be heard in the air as Aya was jamming with the music, singing her heart out.

"What do you think Koga-san? Isn't their new album so cool?!" Mitsuki could feel Aya's excitement embracing her, really, that girl's laughter was infectious, and before Mitsuki had a chance to supress her own share of giggles Aya started making exaggerating movements- like strumming the chords of a guitar in thin air, hammering a drum, and playing the notes of an electronic keyboard- and soon peals of laughter wouldn't stop slipping past Mitsuki's lips.

"Oh- oh my god- What are you doing Aya!" Mitsuki couldn't keep her chuckles at bay, but when she saw how Aya had stilled into a statue and was staring at her with an unreadable gaze she willed herself to stop. Only then did she realise the abruptness of predicament she'd landed them both into.

"I- Oosawa- Oosawa-san. I didn't mean to-" And hurt flashed past Aya's eyes for a split second that Mitsuki might've thought she had imagined had she not been looking at her.

"I mean- I shouldn't have called you by your- your first name," she clarified, but Aya still looked upset at her admission. "Without your permission," she finished and saw Aya considerably relax at that knowledge. Mitsuki wondered how closely had she been staring at Aya that she even knew when the girl was feeling upset and when she'd felt assured, but she tried not to let it bother her too much. Now her primary concern was to make sure Aya didn't misunderstand her intentions.

"It's a force of habit you see. Onii-san?" she said helplessly, hoping that Aya would get the hint and soon enough recognition dawned on her face.

"Ah yes. As Onii-san you called me Aya. Not Oosawa." 'And I wish you'd never stopped calling me Aya,' remained unspoken.

"I don't mind. Not at all." she smiled, though, Mitsuki noticed, it didn't reach her eyes like it always did.

"In fact-" Aya made her way towards her and Mitsuki steeled herself for what was about to come next. "We've been friends for quite a while, no? It is only right that we call each other by our first names now. What do you say….Mit-suki?" Aya hesitated, playing with the syllables of Mitsuki's name and liking the way they sounded in her voice. Mitsuki might've liked it too, if she considered the way the ravenette kept glancing between her lips and eyes.

"So Aya-san-"

"Just Aya please." She shook her head in mock admonition. She'd long since wanted to go past the boundaries of formalities but held back because she hoped Mitsuki would make the first move. Now that Mitsuki had broken the barrier Aya won't hold back her feelings. Though she would never overwhelm the other girl. Her happiness was what she wanted the most over everything else, even the call of her name. She cautiously tried to gauge her reaction and when Mitsuki didn't seem uncomfortable at the prospect of a new sense of familiarity between them let out a silent sigh of gratitude.

"Your name, it sounds nice."

"When you say it? Yeah, it does." The song had finished but neither Aya nor Mitsuki realised, too lost in each other's eyes.

"That's not what I-" Mitsuki was the first to break eye contact, but Aya quickly placed herself back under Mitsuki's attention. Her earnest gaze broke the last of Mitsuki's defences.

"You're right. Maybe we should've said it sooner."

"Good morning, producer-san," Rei said as he touched your shoulder. You, who was reading a book, suddenly jolted up. "Sakuma-san! Please do not surprise me like that! And we're in the library too, and I don't think it's morning," You whispered to the older Sakuma.

Rei chuckled with a deep voice while looking directly at your eyes. "Producer-san, it's 6:30 pm. I think you forgot something?"

"Well… I don't think- Wait, UNDEAD's practice started 30 minutes ago!" You shrieked as you quickly stood up and began to take your stuff away from the table. As you were panicking about forgetting the time, Rei, on the other hand, is looking at your panicking state. His red eyes are hiding those dirty plans he had for his dear producer for later on.

This is not a well-known fact, but Sakuma Rei had his eyes for you for so long. Ever since he offered you to produce for UNDEAD, he couldn't get his eyes, mind, and heart out from you. Rei planned this from the start, after all. When the Aoi twins kidnapped you and Anzu to the club, his eyes had hearts inside them, and his heartbeat went faster and faster the more he looked at you. He wasn't the person who believed in love at first sight, but he fell hard.

After that, he started running after your heart. He tried EVERY method he had; flowers, hugs, sexy whispers (advice from Kaoru, which failed and creeped you out), date offers, and even a song where he made that just for you, but you had your eyes on someone else.

Tenshouin Eichi.

That student council president somehow stole your attention from him! Both of them are rich, handsome and in a popular unit but somehow he took your heart the moment he was out of the hospital! He was boiling with jealousy, but he can't express it to you, can he? He doesn't want his old man vampire facade to fall in front of you.

Rei is a person who can read others' thoughts and expressions well. Although you have been holding this for such a long time, he knew that you wanted to leave the position of UNDEAD's producer for a long time. He knew that you preferred fine's concept more than UNDEAD's but accepted Rei's proposal because he kept insisting. Sooner or later, you'll break the news to him, and at that time, he'll make sure you WILL NOT leave his side.

"Sakuma-san, let's go to the practice room. I hope Kaoru hasn't left, and Koga isn't fuming in anger when I'm late…" You said to yourself, worrying about everything. Rei chuckled again at your carelessness before taking your hand, intertwining it with his.

"Before we start the practice, a young lady wouldn't mind accompanying this old man to take some stuff needed for our practice, would you?"

"Well, I don't mind, but… I didn't know we needed to take some stuff for the practice. I thought this practice would be a normal one?"

"Kaoru told me that he had a new idea for the next song and required some equipment for it," Rei lied smoothly.

Although you doubt Rei's claim because Kaoru would speak his mind to you before Rei, you still follow him.

"So, what should we bring with us?" You asked Rei as both of you went inside the Light Music Club. You could see the sun shining through the room, lighting it up a bit so you and Rei could see. You scanned the room for the so-called equipment before-

"Sakuma-san? Wha- HMPH?!" You shrieked as you felt something covering your mouth.

"Oh, dear. It seems like you feel for my trap…" Rei whispered on one of your ears as he put a napkin over your mouth and nose. His hand went over your side, pulling you towards his cold body. His red eyes looked directly into your eyes and took your panic and anxiety with a smile. You could feel his face getting closer and closer to yours.

"You should know that I am not a safe person to be around~ Now, the drug should've kicked in… I wondered what kind of future both of us have, pro- no, (Y/n)-chan…"

Not even a second later, your vision went black.

Some of my fave anime ships

No one asked but I'ma share some of my favorite anime ships. I have't watched every anime or anything but I have some that I just can't give up. I've never been the hugest shipper but there are some that just find their way into my heart.

Nalu (Natsu x Lucy: Fairy Tail)- currently rewatching so they're fresh in my mind. They have such a good friendship and they're so loyal to each other. Natsu is also incredibly sweet when he wants to be when it comes to her and she trusts him without hesitation. She jumped out of a window and knew he would catch her in time. Like... what??

Edward and Winry (Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood)- this is my favorite anime and I will rewatch it but I love that they've been friends since they were kids. They may not have liked each other from the beginning (romantically) but grew into it. The fact that she was his mechanic and he didn't let anyone else fit him for automail, or let anyone work on it... not to mention, I loved their arguments lol and I loved the scene where he tells her basically he loves her in his own way lol. "Equivalent exchange! I'll give you HALF of me if you give me HALF of you!"

NejiTen (Neji x TenTen: Naruto)- Obviously this won't really be a thing since Neji is dead 😭 but I feel like if he wasn't killed, they would have been together. Tenten was the only one Neji seemed to fully respect and trust on his team. They understood each other and I feel like he might have been open about his family with her. I also feel like because Tenten was an orphan and lived on her own, that she felt comfortable around Neji. Plus, Guy and Lee were so over the top that they had to lean on each other.

Inuyasha x Kagome (Inuyasha)- So I know these two get a lot of flack and I think the road to their romance was complicated but I really and truly believe that Inuyasha loves her. Sure, he might have had a hard time in the beginning because of Kikyo but if he didn't care about Kagome he wouldn't have tried to save her as much as he did. Plus, she was always to break him out of his demon spells. I love them lol. I was never a huge Koga fan so I would never support that ship lol. I'm not caught up with Yashahime so don't spoil me!

Atem x Tea (YuGiOh)- So this is an old old ship from when I was young but I always thought that while Yugi was one of Tea's best friends, she liked Atem/Yami Yugi. I really felt like they flirted lol. I rewatched it not too long ago and still stand by that lol. She was always super emotional when it came to stuff with him lol. She was emotional period but super emotional lol.

Senku x Kohaku (Dr. Stone)- I'm not caught up on the manga so no spoilers but I really love the anime and I'm down for this. Now, if it doesn't happen, I'm cool with that because they both seem so... uninterested in romance but they have a trust between them and I think she definitely likes him as of S2. He's so narrow minded on what he's trying to do that he won't notice his feelings for her and hers for him for a while but when he does, I think he'll do everything he can to ignore it. I think that tracks for him.

Kirito x Asuna (SAO)- Obviously they're together and nothing will come between them lol. I'm watching the current season of Alicitization and when Asuna and Alice kind of got into it over him lol had me cracking up. Kirito also has a harem but Asuna is the only one he actually has eyes for... though if it wasn't for her, I think Sinon would have a chance lol. But I love their relationship. They love each other so much that they will literally move heaven and hell to find each other... love them.

Marinette x Adrien (Miraculous Ladybug)- Not quite an anime... I want them to get their shit together honestly. I love this show lol. Their romance square is hilarious but this is what I want. I want the tables to switch, where Ladybug starts to look at Cat Noir differently, as well as her to apologize for how she treats him. Cat Noir deserves much better than what he is given. But also, I think the superior part of their square is Marinette x Cat Noir, since this is the only part of the square where their feelings don't get in the way lol.

I have begun to read the UNDEAD climax event, at least what's out of the translation rn. This comment alone

Made me feel something deep within. He's talking to AI robot Rei at this point. Of course the robot wouldn't understand what Koga's getting at. But we do. I do.

He's accepted the circumstances as they are with the AI robots due to Rei deciding it was for the best while they try to solve who's behind this. While Koga's not entirely thrilled about it, he goes along with it. While he's FINALLY gotten the chance to play the exact rock music he's always wanted to. Something didn't feel right to him. Why's that? Because he realized it's not actually what he wants. The music yes, but it not with WHO he wants. Case in point ^

AI Rei is very much old Rei, who Koga used to idolize & look up to. But it shows how much he truly has grown from that second year at Yumenosaki when he was trying his hardest to remind Rei of who he used to be. How he truly progressed from the Reypayment Festival when he laid himself out in front of Rei when the third years temporarily brought back DEADMANZ. It also makes sense why hearing it return fueled something within Koga, since like DEADMANZ was supposed to have been gone forever & replaced by UNDEAD.

Anyways, getting a little off topic. Koga doesn't JUST want to sing on stage with "a Rei." He doesn't want to just sing on stage with "a Kaoru." Adonis was there with him the entire time, as someone who is able to keep Koga grounded. It's mentioned on how these moments are like when Rei & Kaoru first graduated, them working separately from each other. But again, it just didn't feel RIGHT to Koga. Just someone who sounds like Rei. Or well, sounds like how Rei used to act. Isn't what Koga truly wants.

It hits home how eye-opening it becomes. Koga truly has moved past. He wants actual Rei, who Rei is & has become. Not just someone standing in who claims to be "like him" - robot or no. The AI are not the ones he WANTS to be singing on stage with. He wants all four of them. This was highlighted in the highlights that Happy Ele posted

Just pulls this from my other ramble I did about Koga when it dropped. He's beginning to grow & reflect. He's always been so adamant on the music & style of UNDEAD. How he was extremely anxious about what UNDEAD was dealing with while Rei & Kaoru were "making fools of themselves" for the higher ups of RhyLink just to safely solidify a place in RhyLink for them. He began to realize what the two of them were doing. He's grown. He's progressed, but these moments with the AI have truly smacked Koga right in the face.

He's happy, but he's NOT at the same time. Adonis being with him during HELLSING has definitely kept him from truly losing himself to his emotions, but it doesn't change the fact that he doesn't want these AI taking Rei & Kaoru's place beside them. After all, what would everything have been for if it's not all 4 of them???

It's an eye-opening moment to show Koga just where his priorities truly need to be. He loves UNDEAD very very much & that's who he truly wants there with him on stage.

Chapter 5 - A FUCKIN CAKE!

The weekend, in fact, was a bit hectic, with the smaller team, Kanami had to watch her employees doing things for her, but, as she herself had said “you wouldn't survive without my inspection in the kitchen” and, In fact, Tomori couldn't handle two men asking her everything left and right about how to handle dough. With the owner and main cook at least giving tips, things went more smoothly.

It was only by mid-afternoon when everything was more calm, everyone was having refreshments (for some reason everyone decided not to drink alcohol that day, not even Paikon). Tomori was intently watching the television.

“Ooohh, this is going to be good!” she smiled widely, while watching a Japanese Wrestling match, “Old Seki will participate this year!”

“Seki?”, Kanami raises an eyebrow, as she approaches, staggering using a crutch so as not to hurt the stabbed side, “Who is this?”

“Sekibayashi Jun, I told you about him already…”

“Aaaaahhh, the big one with the dreads on his head, I remember”, she smiles, taking another sip at her juice glass, “Didn't he participate last year?”

“No, he apparently stayed out because of some serious injuries he suffered during a training accident… weird isn't it?”, she doesn’t take her eyes of the television.

“It can happen. Remember when I showed up here with my arm bandaged? My coach was the one who had rescued me, I fell in a bad way in training.”

“Well, it could be. But this one is a walking wall, how could he have been hurt so much?”

“Getting hit by a car is one way to get hurt a lot.”

“True”, Tomoyo widens her eyes “Jeez, it's him! GO SEKI, GO, SHOW THIS MOTHERFUCKER WHO’S BOSS!!”, she starts screaming at the television and Kana cringes.

“Ouch, Tomoh! Television doesn't listen, but I do!”

“Sorry, I get carried away…”

Kana sighs, shaking her head, pulling away. Then turns around “Hey, Tomoh”

“Hmmm?”, she nods, still had her eyes on the television.

“I, uh… could you help me with something?”, she blushes a little, normally she was the one who helped, not the other way around, “I'm going to need to do something at home, and I'd love an extra hand…”

“Hm?”, she looks at her friend, “Oh, why, of course I’d help. Out of curiosity, what do you want from me? Can I help bring anything?”

“Yes, bring ingredients for a Red Velvet… I already have the ingredients for icing, but I want to make one nicely decorated, you know?”

“Did you receive a commission? Damn, Kana, in that state of yours it's not good…”

“It’s not an order, it’s… to thank… the guy who saved me… I feel a little indebted…”, she shrugs a little, still with color in her cheek “I think a one-kilogram sized will be good…”

“One kilogram?”, she blinks, “Honey, did you see the size of that man? And the request he made? He ate the first sheet of our menu all alone!”

“…Two, then?”

“I'd do a three-kilo one, just in case.”

“Damn, that's an exaggeration, it would be enough for at least thirty people. Two Kilos!”

“Okay, two… but well decorated! And three layers of filling!”

“ Is the cake for him or for you?”

“It's OUR thanks. Mine, yours and everyone else's at Heavy Bakery! So let’s make something HEAVY!”

“Okay…” she sighs, “a two-kilo Red Velvet, my God… to take this from my house to there… this is going to be hell…”

“Hiro has a car, we'll handle it. Hoooohhh, this is going to be fun!!”, she jumps a little too excited, “Do you still have the business card?”

“ I do… and it already does have the address of his little gentleman’s business…”

“Perfect.”

…

“Ohma?”

“Yamashitakazuo.”

“Hey, are you busy?”

“No, why?”

“Well, can you come over to the office?”

Ohma could hear a buzz in the room where the old man was, like a “HOLY fuck!”

Kaede's voice "Koga, be more polite!"

“But it's a fucking cake!”

And Ryuki's voice whistling "damn it's huge".

Kazuo sighs “Boys, can you speak more quietly?” back to the phone, “Eh, apparently there's something for you here…”

“I'll be there”, he hangs up.

…

Ten minutes later he goes upstairs to the Yamashita office and finds everyone around the thing, exactly what the boys said: on top of the office table, there was a huge, tall cake, all decorated with icing and berries , with chocolate syrup pouring down the sides, and a card on top, written in calligraphic letters:

Thank you for your help. I guess we’ll even, then?

The Heavy Bakery

“Bro I still can't believe it, is it someone's birthday today?” Koga exclaims, looking at everyone.

“No, apparently it was from the bakery on the corner, whose owner Ohma rescued last week…”, Kaede corrects.

“Damn, the one that made those cookies?! Wow, you’re awesome, bakery auntie!”, Koga opens his smile.

“It looks delicious”, Ryuki was already watching with hungry eyes, licking his lips and adjusting the fake glasses he used to wear.

After the initial shock, Ohma approaches and observes the “work of art” of sorts in a contemplative silence. It was probably one of the most "expensive-looking" things he'd seen in a long time, and so up close...

“Did she make this to me?” He was clearly and genuinely surprised.

“Well, apparently so”, Kazuo adjusts his glasses, “they even left some disposable plates and cutlery-”

“No need, thanks”, Ohma leans over to get the cake by the trail and take it, but is stopped by everyone with a collective scream.

“EEEEEEEEEEP!”

“What're you doin!?”

“No, heeey! Put it down!”

“Come oooOon!"

“Whaaaat? The cake is for me, isn't it?” Ohma blinks, confused.

“What the hell, man…?”, Koga exclaims.

“Share with others, you selfish!” - Ryuki accompanies.

“Are you sure you're going to eat this alone? You’re going to have a stomach ache…” Kaede looked as angry as the others.

“I think Kaede is right, Ohma, unlike the meals you usually eat, a cake that size is too heavy for the stomach all at once…'' Kazuo comments, always soothing things out.

Ohma seemed to really dislike this, looking at everyone as if he wanted to growl, the air actually became tense and chilly. Ryuki also grunts at the guy, ready to attack if necessary. Koga only makes an angry face but wasn't willing to let go either, responding with the same tense aura as the eldest.

“Do you really want it?”, the biggest one asked almost as if asking if those kids were willing to fight over the food.

“I don't want much, I can't eat a lot of sweets”, Kazuo already backing off, “I'm already an old man, as you know…”

“I want it!” Ryuki and Koga respond together.

“I wouldn't mind a little bit. I was willing to buy one to try it out, but this is an opportunity that came in very handy…”, Kaede tries to circle around, blushing a little intimidated by the tense aura, but not giving in.

Ohma takes one last look at the other two fighters, “Don't you forget it's my cake, you busybodies... she made it for me - but ends up dropping the plate with a grunt - you thief...

Koga cocked an eyebrow, confused.

“Hey bro, we don't want to steal anyone, it's just a cake-”’

“MY cake.”

“And why this exclusivity? Do you like the Girl that made it, by any chance?”

“Huh? What?”, he blinks, confused, “No. Where did you get this from?”

“Ahhh” Koga laughs, embarrassed to have to explain “you’re so angry with just a cake, man, this is not normal, even to you!”

“Uh, is it not?”Ryuki seemed to understand only now, apparently he didn't know either.

“It's my cake, you guys want to steal it, it looks normal to me to get angry!” - Ohma counters.

“We're not stealing the whole cake like you!”, Ryuki exclaims, getting irritated, “we just want a piece. You can have the rest. You are just being selfish.”

Ohma just crosses his arms, scowling, as she takes a step back, letting Kaede, the most neutral after Kazuo, cut the damn cake. The most tense moment was him inspecting Kaede to give each one a little piece, and woe betide anyone who asked for a second.

Of course, Ohma took the rest home, apparently in a bad mood, even though he took more than three-quarters of the thing.

It was a funny day, according to Kazuo.

A rei sakuma and jun sazanami x reader

Synopsis: you keep hearing the voices in your head whispering that people are talking bad about you and you listen. You look around and see people are talking about you so you try to get away from everything. The boys notice and try to stop you from straying away.

A/n: hey guys! I really wanted to do this but I just didn't have the time but now I'm back with a wonderful fic for you guys. This insecurity is near and dear to my heart so this is really self-indulgent! Without any further delay, let's get on with it!

Rei sakuma

You were avoiding him.

You didn't really want to but you knew he wouldn't want you there anyway.

Might as well bury yourself in work.

The words you heard were like knives stabbing you again and again.

"she's dating the rei yet she doesn't look the part."

"she's so ugly. Bet you she has to wear a cake of make-up just to get close to sakuma."

You slowly started sinking into that mindset.

You started to avoid rei all together in fear that he feels the same way.

If he hasn't, he will soon enough.

He'll find someone better.

Someone thinner, prettier than you.

You've been spending most of your time in the library, away from the light music club room.

Rei started to get suspicious.

It's been a week since you've been away.

Though he still gets the reports and pitches from Koga, he's still concerned as to why you didn't come to him directly or why you haven't been staying in the club room.

So he sent hinata and yuta to fetch you.

The twins looked all over for you until they found you in the corner of the library writing down the new ideas undead and 2wink could do for the next dreFes.

The twins brought you out of your little world by slamming their hands down on the table.

"goodness! You guys scared me!"

"sakuma-san wants to see you!" the twins said in unison, taking both of your hands and pulling you up from your chair.

You pull your hands away and told the twins that you'll follow them soon.

You get to the light music club and see sakuma sitting atop of his coffin, he seems to be awake the whole day which was very concerning.

"love, what is going on? You've been avoiding me for days. You do your work, yes but you don't spend time with me anymore… is something wrong?"

He wraps his arms around you and buries his face into your neck, mumbling some apologies for things he didn't even do.

Your heart ached at the sight so you finally tell him about the girls, the voices in your head, and your insecurities.

You didn't realize until the end of the ramble that your tears sliding down her cheeks.

He slightly pulls away, placing his hands on you’re your cheeks, wiping your tears away.

"None of those are remotely true. You are pretty enough, inside and out," he said, kissing your eyes then your lips.

He didn't leave you alone for the rest of the day.

He also deals with his "fans" with the help of the twins and the other members so they would never bother you again.

Jun sazanami

Eden is a popular unit and you knew that for a fact.

Until this day, you can't believe that you are dating the jun sazanami.

He's always been polite to everyone.

Hiyori has always liked that eve is interactive with its audience.

So jun is always polite to his fans.

But recently, people are starting to get very clingy to him and he seems he hasn't noticed it.

Girls started to leave chocolates and flowers on his desk while you get hate letters and death threats.

One string of letters got the best of you.

"Maybe you should just disappear and leave jun to us."

"I'm prettier than you. Your ugly ass doesn't deserve to even get near him."

"fat girls don't deserve jun's attention."

Those words repeated in your head as you tried to go on with your day with a fake smile on your face.

You also tried to stay away from jun with his fans.

For days you let those thoughts in your head.

You try to lose weight but skipping on meals and buried yourself in more work.

It didn't take long when he starts to notice your mannerisms.

You didn't eat with him anymore.

You were always working.

He decided to confront you after school.

You were waiting for your ride when jun ran up to you, no fangirls insight.

You look at him and sighed, tucking your tummy in, you walked over.

He rests his hands on your shoulders, looking into your (e/c) orbs.

"Hey baby, what's going on? You've been avoiding me, you haven't been eating. Are you sure you're okay?"

Those words made the tears fill your eyes, hugging him tightly.

You told him everything. The insecurities and issues.

Finally, you shakily took out the string of letters that started all of your insecurities in the first place.

Jun looked calm on the inside but you could tell by his grip on the letters, he was livid.

"Baby, listen to me," he said, pulling you closer once again.

"you are pretty. You are enough for me. Don't you dare think that you aren't enough. I love you and only you. You don't need to be thin or pretty because you already are. I love you for you."

He said to you, kissing your temple.

You stayed like that for a while.

He keeps work and his personal life separate now.

Differences between the anime and the manga and how it affects my portrayal [Hakudoshi]

As probably everyone who has been following me for a while knows, my Hakudoshi is canon-divergent and headcanon based while cherry-picking certain stuff from the anime and manga.

But today I was going around several manga chapters where he appears to make new manga icons and I have noticed, once again, how there are a couple of things -like every other adaptation- that differ from the source material and I decided to make a post about this so that my followers know what I take from either the anime or the manga, mostly I follow the anime but let's dwell on it (might be a rather big post)

The first differences come right after his "birth", while it doesn't directly affect Hakudoshi's character it does change the way he and Entei met.

In the anime Sunrise introduced a second demon, Rengokuki, that along with Entei had been sealed by the priest the Infant and Kagura killed, his death leads to the seal on both demons break and Rengokuki is the one who possesses the naginata that later becomes Hakudoshi's signature weapon:

In the manga, Rengokuki doesn't exist and Entei is immediately drawn to Hakudoshi choosing him as its new master/rider due to him having broken the seal. Thus their bond is not about Entei having seen Hakudoshi as a strong demon, worth ride on his back, but more as a returning favor, Hakudoshi even says so:

This makes Entei's and Hakudoshi's "bond" even more unreal, colder than in the anime, although in the anime Hakudoshi could care less about Entei when it died (much like in the manga), the anime added Entei backing up Hakudoshi's escape. While I like the way both anime and manga portrayed their bond and I understand that Hakudoshi is a character not meant to form any sort of bond, I tend to prefer the anime's version because I like the idea of Naraku's incarnations forming at least one bond with someone. I even have made headcanons about Hakudoshi's and Entei's bond and stuff they did together when literally no one was looking, not even Kagura. Thus this is my first canon divergent piece in my portrayal albeit not used in his main verse but rather in the other ones: Hakudoshi can and will form bonds with someone if he spends enough time around them, he will be cold, distant, rude, and very unfriendly at the beginning but eventually comes to see them in another light.

Another difference I noted between the manga and the anime was Hakudoshi's introduction, I am not sure how much that changes things, probably nothing at all and it's even more probable that it's just a case of different translations for the same topic. In the manga, Hakudoshi introduces himself as "the discarded white child of Naraku" whereas in the anime he introduces himself merely as a "Naraku incarnation". Doesn't affect my portrayal but I thought it would be interesting to note.

In the manga, also regarding his weapon, Hakudoshi obtains his naginata by having Entei kill a boar demon that had that weapon. He took it from Rengokuki after he killed him with the naginata in the anime. Fun fact, in the anime a boar demon named Chokyukai had exactly the same design as the boar demon Entei killed in the manga, he even appears in the episode following Hakudoshi's introduction with a naginata exactly like Hakudoshi's with the exception that it has a sapphire in it instead of a ruby. Again, doesn't affect my portrayal but I thought it would be interesting to mention.

The following change is related to Hakudoshi's abilities, most of his abilities are kept on par between the manga and the anime (barrier creator, miasma production, regeneration, and teleportation), however, episode 144 gave two more abilities on the very same scene above: telepathy, he already somewhat possessed this ability in the manga as well as he is able to read other's minds by touching them much like his counterpart (I feel like the minimal difference between Hakudoshi and the Infant is that Hakudoshi reads minds while the Infant reads the hearts), however, the anime adds more to it and he is capable of reading other's minds without touching them. Regarding this ability, I have decided to keep it in both ways though he will not be using the non-touching mind reading one unless it's necessary or if he feels like it. This means that it works essentially like a switch button that he can control at will and helps me explain why he didn't hear or even comment further on Kagura's thoughts about killing him/betraying Naraku or even when Kohaku was right next to him thinking about Sango as his sister and about his plan to get closer to the Infant after the Zushi Nezumi incident.

The second ability introduced is 100% anime-only and it's telekinesis which means he can move objects using his mind. I am also keeping this ability of his, however, with some restrictions. In the scene above we see Hakudoshi throwing several small rocks at Kagura, more with the intention of annoying and giving her a warning. Now, those small rocks don't have big weight and thus are easy to manipulate and control. This is where my headcanon and second canon divergent happens in my portrayal: Hakudoshi is not able to use telekinesis on objects that weigh more than him, in my post-canon verse this changes as he trains harder to be able to lift heavier weights but in his main verse he cannot do it. He would not be able to, for example, levitate Tessaiga in its transformed form considering it's much heavier than himself but he would be able to use the telekinesis to move his own weapon in case, for some reason, it was driven away from him.

The third difference between the anime and the manga is, for me, one of the most important scenes considering that it shows more of Hakudoshi's methodical and strategical side. Once more this scene is anime-only, possibly more to fill in the content of the episode than anything else but I still find it interesting.

This scene makes it Hakudoshi's second direct interaction with Inuyasha (and his group, although in this specific scene it's only Inuyasha) set in between Inuyasha visiting Totosai and learning about Hosenki and Inuyasha actually finding Hosenki. In the manga such scene never happened, it was immediately shown Inuyasha finding Hosenki's lake. In the anime, they added that Hakudoshi was spying on the group through Samiyosho thus leading to the scenario above where Hakudoshi shows that he is always a step ahead. Not only that but he reveals that he knows about Hosenki's existence and even that Hosenki I is already dead (it's even implied at first that he had something to do with it only to be debunked by Hosenki's son).

Of course with the manga not having this scene they couldn't really change the plot behind it, however, I still find this scene interesting because not only shows Hakudoshi's childish behavior where he sees all this as a game (like a chess game) and Inuyasha's group are mere pawns in it but also that he could have easily killed Hosenki II, leaving Inuyasha's group without that resource and also, at the very least, injure Inuyasha seeing that he caught him by surprise but simply choose not to. He chooses not to kill his number one enemy with the mere exchange to see how Inuyasha would work around the problem, I think this is where it shows the differences between Naraku and Hakudoshi, while they are extremely similar in many ways and Naraku himself has been shown to be able to manipulate the odds in his favor, I feel like Naraku wouldn't have missed the chance to try and kill Inuyasha had he been this close to him like Hakudoshi was. This is yet another change the anime made that I keep within my portrayal of Hakudoshi, not only it gave more interactions between Inuyasha and Hakudoshi but also showed more to Hakudoshi's strategic side.

The following scene is not different in either the manga or the anime however it's something I would still like to point out as it's one of my headcanons regarding Hakudoshi's betrayal plot towards Naraku.

While I believe that Hakudoshi and the Infant had already been plotting for a while (if not from the beginning) their plan to eventually overthrow Naraku I mostly think that this scene above might have triggered it to start working, this and also once Naraku gave the Infant the Fuyoheki which kept hidden the Infant's demonic aura. Back to this specific scene, however, until then Hakudoshi had always been relying on the fact his heart (and Naraku's) was somewhere else as his "lucky charm", he could not be killed and could be doing whatever he wanted. He even hid behind Naraku's "protection" when it came to Kagura as he would punish her. This also made Hakudoshi extremely cocky regarding his status as a superior incarnation of Naraku, made him believe he was not a tool like Kagura was.

This specific moment, however, I headcanon it finally clicked in Hakudoshi's mind that he was not that different from the other incarnations, at least not to Naraku (in his mind he still was it) as he would use him as a shield just like he did with the other incarnations without hesitation, this made him realize that he is a tool just like Kagura and he absolutely refused to be it.

This would also lead to his state of rage, craziness, and denial we see in the moments before he dies.

The major change comes next, this time it was cut from the anime and I actually would have liked to have seen this animated. Unlike in episode 165 where Hakudoshi tested the newly created Moryomaru on Inuyasha, he actually tests it on both Inuyasha and Koga. This was the first and only direct interaction that Hakudoshi has with another enemy of his (and Naraku's) aside from those in Inuyasha's group.

Therefor while until now I've mostly maintained what the anime added to Hakudoshi's role, this time it's the other way around and I will be keeping this manga scene in my portrayal. It helps me give a better sight in how Hakudoshi would act around other enemies of his that are not Inuyasha and his group or around Naraku and Kagura. The anime pretty much reduced Hakudoshi's interactions to these three and I don't like it, just like I didn't like that pretty much all of Hakudoshi's personality traits in the entire series (both manga and anime) were being evil and a brat.

From here on until the parts that were animated in the original anime are pretty much all on par with the manga. Which brings the next big change to the first episode of the Final Act (and Hakudoshi's only appearance in the 2010 anime since he dies right in the first one).

His first appearance in the new anime remains the same as in the manga, meaning he goes to the dungeons to speak to Kagura who is in charge of watching the revived Goryomaru, however the major change is in his speech towards Kagura:

" Yes, freedom. If you truly desire liberation from Naraku you have no choice but to kill him." followed by " How about it Kagura? When the time comes I can retrieve your heart before I obliterate Naraku. "

In the anime, Hakudoshi attempts to make a deal with Kagura, tries to make her join forces with him, Goryomaru/Moryomaru and the Infant even tempts her with her so desired freedom and with the chance of retrieving Naraku. I confess when I first saw this I was confused, even when I hadn't read the manga yet, because until this point Hakudoshi has not once shown to care about Kagura's desire for freedom (something that to an extent he also desires but with another kind of end) nor had he ever tried to make a deal with her since he had always looked down on her. Granted this could very well just be a manipulation, most likely was, but still didn't explain his sudden need for her help when he never minded getting his hands dirty.

However, in the manga the speech goes extremely different, there is no temptation, there is no attempt to make a deal, he just plants a seed of doubt in Kagura:

" You want to know...just who Goryomaru is, don't you Kagura...? I'll tell you one thing. Even if you follow Naraku's orders...and protect Goryomarum, it won't benefit you. "

Still a manipulation however far different from that of the anime, he literally plants a seed of doubt in her, doesn't tempt her with a pact, he lets her make the decision on whether she should betray Naraku or not. And above all doesn't make such a promise to retrieve her heart.

In all honesty, I love both versions a lot, the anime's version fits a little better with my first point of canon divergent in which I wrote Hakudoshi is capable of creating a bond even if it takes a lot of time (and again not in his main verse, I refer this part to the post-canon verse and AU verses). It also gives me food for thought for an eventual AU where he actually succeeded in overthrowing Naraku (granted I never truly understood how he and the Infant intended to do so aside from absorbing Naraku into Moryomaru's body).

The manga's version is far more consistent with his relationship until now with Kagura: indifference, mutual despise, etc. But again, I did mention I didn't like how being evil and a brat was basically Hakudoshi's canon personality traits, I prefer to build my Muse with several character layers.

With this said, I made the decision to keep both versions in my portrayal and it will vary according to the kind of thread I am making.

A lot more was changed with the content of the following manga chapters when they were turned into anime but I won't dwell on it since they don't affect my portrayal of Hakudoshi. Until his death though, all the rest is much the same and in his main verse, it remains so.

But this brings me to my Post-Canon Verses which serve for interactions post-Kagome's return to the Feudal Era in which Hakudoshi is brought back to life in a similar way to Kikyo except that instead of a body made of clay, it's a body made of yokai flesh (fox yokai) with a human heart thus making Hakudoshi a half-demon.

Upon being brought back to life, however, Hakudoshi has no memory of who he used to be. Forcing him to start over in an attempt to both move forward with his (new) life and at the same time try to discover who he used to be (when it happens though, it will cause heavy conflict in his now human heart). He will also deal with human night every 9th day of the month.

I made these post canon verses with the idea of creating new interactions with other Inuyasha characters outside the whole "evil incarnation kid" (it gets repetitive and tiring to me to only use his main verse in every thread, I guess) and it also helps me build a more solid personality for Hakudoshi like other characters have.

The post became much bigger than I thought but I think I pretty much wrote down everything I wanted to write about the differences between the anime and the manga regarding Hakudoshi and how I use these interpretations in my threads.

2. Are there any popular fandom OTPs you only BroTP?*

If I have to pick one, I would say Tony/Rhodney. I 100% see why it's a top tier ship, I just ship Tony with other characters more.

3. Have you ever unfollowed someone over a fandom opinion?

Yes, once, it was a very peaceful unfollow. That person had a very negative opinion about character I liked [I can't remember if it was "they're very problematic" or "they're the source of all evil", but something along those lines], so it was just, "alright, thanks, bye"

5. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?*

Considering I stick to my ships that are either popular or rare enough for most people to not know it exists, I have largely escaped that fate, with two exceptions.

InuKag and InuKik. It started with "you do you" and devolved into "can you people just stop?" due to wars. Thankfully since then I've learned how to avoid it, but the sour-taste remained.

7. Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?*

Can I say the entire later plot of Inuyasha? Because I remember the time I could literally quote first volumes from memory, but recently going through them just to confirm something feels like pulling teeth with a string and no doors at hand.

11. Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?

For every character that I like that has a group of people who hate them, there's a group that likes them.

Senju Tobirama. I think he's hated mostly by Uchicha fans, because he's a partially guilty and convenient scapegoat for what happened to them; for missing Danzo; probably some more stuff that I never cared enough to check;

I think he genuinely believed in possibility of peace, was just to pragmatic to match Hashirama in that belief, still he tried his best while being a product of his time and working with what he had [he had a village full of people who tried to kill each other last week, give him a break; and chances are he was the main if not the sole brain behind infrastructure]. Honestly, I would like to see him plucked from his time and dropped in the modern Konoha [even pre-massacre one], and see what he would do then. Would he get a 100 on report card? Probably not, but he would definitely learn something new.

Also, ultimately, characters are tools in the hands of the author, and they will do whatever author wants.

I think what I like the most in him, is his practicality, the fact everyone thinks he's this cold and serious person when he's very much not, the fact that he was not inherently this good, perfect person; the potential he had if only given a chance to live in peace without worrying about everything. And I do have a thing for characters that rely on speed in their fights.

Inuyasha. I know, he's a main character, but I've seen enough "what Kagome sees in him?" posts, to believe he's unpopular in at least some circles. He's loud, he's brash, childish, jealous, overbearing at times, stubborn, rude, overconfident at times, basically he has a lot of flaws, so I can see why people who regard Kagome as close to perfection think less of him [also, I think this fandom is the one where the belief that mature = 'calm and composed at all times' is the most prevalent]. How much of it is his personality, defense mechanisms, lack of social education? No one knows. At this point they're probably too merged anyway. Why I like him. He confident, he's proud, he's in your face, despite the whole world trying to put him down. He's still there and kicking despite basically everyone being his enemy. And he still was able to give people chance [I don't care how wonderful Kagome or Kikyo are/were. If he truly didn't want to trust others, o matter what they did, he wouldn't have]. He lives in a times different than ours with different values and rules so it might be hard to see, but he's a kind person. Not nice, very much so, but kind none the less.

MCU!Tony Stark. Just go into his tag, and you'll find plenty of explanation of why he's hated and why I like him.

Gilagamesh is the character that people love to hate, and he makes it so easy to do. Archer Gilagmesh ticks like every single box on the jackass list. Twice. And then comes Caster Gilgamesh, and you have a great example why cancel culture should be chucked into trash. I like the one that doesn't have obsession with Arturia the most, since that's when he seems to have 3 dimensions, but he's still an asshole.

Nie MingJue, come one people, he's just so huggable.

*realizes most of the works I read/watch are small enough to not really have fandoms, and I'm hapy with that*

I've had my little cosy nest in some random corner from the very start, so I've avoided most of it, and quickly learned how to deal with the rest.

Define unpopular.

Everybody hates them? I would lean toward Tobirama.

Nobody cares about them? That's probably Nie MingJue. There's a blog that helps with getting merch for MDZS, they post info about new items, and so far not a single one was with Nie MingJue. Right now I'm waiting for MDZS Q to have a scene with him, so I can get a screenshot and custom order a plushie or something.
