I'm very confused as to why the fandom portrays Phoenix Wright as this "sunshine boy" in fanworks when the Phoenix Wright I know from the games is kind of a douche lmao

the most autistic thing i've done in the past year is when i typed out a transcript of the text from the entire main storyline in Pokemon Legends: Arceus into a wordpad document, complete with basic image descriptions, and then i didn't even write the fanfic which was supposedly the reason i started that whole project in the first place

watching everyone i follow have an amazing time playing Baldur's gate 3 rn while I don't have a PlayStation and I'm a million years away from buying a new computer

It's been a few days since I watched the most recent Shortonegaming episode of V3 but I'm still thinking about how delighted I am that for once the reaction of the LPers to Gonta saying something along the lines of "Gonta not very smart but will do his best to help investigate" during ch1 was not "awww its okay gonta" but "Aww gonta no!! You are smart!! You're literally an insect scientist!!" Like AUGH I've said it like 10 times but this playthrough continues to be everything I've wanted a v3 playthrough to be!! 10/10 stars!!

Not that Returnal is bad per se but I see the words 'roguelike bullet hell soulslike co-op' to describe a single game and my eyes glaze over

Also I can't believe I'm saying this about a persona 5 spinoff but p5t is actually... Surprisingly good? The character dynamics within the phantom thieves are much more fleshed out (which is something I always took issue with in the original game), the character screentime is a lot more balanced and mostly no flanderisation (aka yusuke gets to Do Things for once, makoto gets to Not Do Everything thank god, morgana is the most likeable he's ever been to me), the new characters are incredibly fun and executed very well especially for spinoff-only characters, the plot concepts are interesting, the sprites are very fun and expressive, like. idk I just didn't expect it to make up for some of my issues with the main game tbh!! a pleasant surprise for sure

Stopped playing TT just now and hearing the pointers and fellows talk about each other crack me up so much but also there are some implications based on the dialogue that make me internally go DAMN like:

Felix talking about Flora and Freya being super close, but never sculpting a figure of Fifi

Fifi herself admitting she's not super close with her mother (and also why tf is her hair practically the SAME COLOR as Penny's like if that's not the most SUS—)

Everybody dunking on Felix's wood sculpting ability makes me laugh

Penny talks about her admiration for Flora, but only having birds for friends; there's an untapped dynamic that could have bloomed between them I feel like

Also her beef with Poppy cracks me up a little because ma'am that is a teenager what is your damage

AND HER HAT BIRD HOW DARE YOU SIMPLY REFER TO HIM AS A HAT HE IS SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT

That being said, I'm kinda with her on Flora and her decision to marry Felix; I am extremely curious as to how that happened in the first place (girl what do you see in him??)

Not to self promote my fancase project, but it makes me laugh seeing how superstitious Grimoire is given that my cast will be taking direct inspiration from the Hollywood's Universal Classic Monster Film Series

Hawkshaw's commentary on everyone cracks me up so much, but also the whole thing with Freya being the only one to figure her out says so much

Fitz has the vibe of someone with social anxiety; and I gotta say I agree with Penny that he probably just has the crow instinct of liking shiny things with the fruit (perhaps if he was more ambitious, then maybe I would agree with Mr Pointer's comments, but Fitz himself is clearly not materialistic if his room has anything to say)
