autism is not spd+ or adhd+. it is a pervasive developmental condition that disables people. It has a wide variety of symptoms that disables people in a wide variety of ways. Social anxiety + mild sensory sensitivies =/= autism. Hyperactivity + now wanting to gaze deeply into other people's eyes all the time =/= autism. I am all for self-dx but some of you need to be for real with yourselves about how much xyz autistic traits actually impact your lives. a large proportion of autistic traits need to cause significant problems in your everyday functioning for you to be autistic. Needing light prompting in your day to day life is not high, medium, or even medium-low, support needs.

I know this sounds gatekepy but If you live on your own and hold down a job/are a full time college student idgaf what you think about what autism advocacy needs.

did you know there are waitlists months or years long for basic respite services?

did you know autistic people are systematically denied communication because they need to prove they can use a communication device to actually get the device?

did you know that autistic people are 160x more likely to die by drowning than neurotypicals?

did you know that 85% of autistic adults are unemployed?

Did you know that autistic people are more likely to have mental illness than non-autistic people, yet there are extremely few specialised psych facilities willing to support them?

Did you know that autistic people are denied basic education because they can't prove what they know? (this ties into lack of access to communication)

did you know that autistic people can legally be involuntarily sterilized or have their children taken away from them solely because they're autistic?

so please, shut the fuck up about puzzle pieces and person first language, and maybe campain for something that will tangibly help autistic people.

today one of people running the central committee advised us on cell building. i had a project brewing in the works with one of my friend to build some kind of community peer support group for the queers in our city. the committee dude says he's concerned that the project will ends up as an lsm or a peer group, so isnt it better if i just recruit my friend directly?

something about the wording pisses me off so badly i swear. it made me feel like he cares more about our org getting a new member than the basic mental health of every queer in this city. i did explain that im trying to recruit her directly too and that the project would be a positive if realized even if it doesnt end up as an affiliate to ours and he seems to understand but. good god, im still mad about it.

If you don’t like the Bells Hells campaign…don’t watch it

This is not at all to be gatekeepy. If you’re going to watch this campaign strictly for the other campaign characters and then bitch about the bells hells or the storyline involving the past campaign characters, either don’t watch it or don’t bitch online.

If your dragging yourself through this campaign and you still hate it by episode 51, just give yourself a break my man. No one is making you watch it, you are free to go, enjoy what you enjoy and leave what you don’t in peace. Cause other people like it and you’re not the only one on the internet. I’ve said it before I’ll say it again, I am not a fan of the Mighty Nein campaign. Personally the characters aren’t my favs. But hey I’m not bitching about the new series, I’m not complaining about the inclusion of a couple characters into the Bells Hells narrative. Matt made an incredible intertwined world with characters that have connections across the world and the cast made incredible PC’s that have similar connections. Of course they’re going to connect, especially with a world ending situation like the current Apogee Solstice. I’m very excited for everyone excited for the animated series. I’m so proud of the cast for achieving this and I’m excited when they get to see their beloved characters again. This is still an actual play series with real people influenced by what’s happening, im so happy for them that they now have eight years of stories packed into this vast fictional world. It would be unrealistic if they didn’t create interconnected characters and if the characters somehow had similar interests. Just take a step back and look at what is happening, why it’s happening and how it affects others before you start complaining.

You’re just hurting yourself and you’re also blocking up the tag feeds with your hate. Simply, don’t watch it and I guarantee your life will be so much easier when you can just watch the content you want to. You’re entitled to your opinion but your not required to hate on content that a lot of people really enjoy. In a digital world no one seems to get how to keep their mouths shut when all they’re talking is hate.

You gotta trust me when I say im the king of not following flight rising lore. if i post anything else after this haHA. below is her lore, but the run down is:

dragons can study any element they want! when theyre born theyre monochrome and as they take interest in a subject their body changes to show that. A gathering of dragons of the same element is called a ‘flight’ but an alliance of different dragons is called a ‘study’. dragons themselves in my lore are very curious but very greedy, so they hoard knowledge and magic.

you can have two elements you can study so it works like pokemon typings. i’ll make a list of them all one day but you probably get the picture of what theyre like

dragons gatekeepy and snobby natures make it so they normally only mingle with their own flights (or they keep to themselves entirely) unless it benefits them to study with others (like a life dragon would absolutely talk to a earth dragon). the search for knowledge motivates dragons above all else, but it also makes them forget their morals.

Acacia, the Mother of Fire

For dragons, fire and destruction are not the same. The dragons that follow the school of fire often find themselves using their abilities to prune dead forests, rescue ice-trapped critters and cook food for their friends.

But it wasn’t always like this.

During the mess of the dark ages, dragons who chose to research fire were thought of as selfish arsonists, chasing their curiosity no matter the cost. Farm lands would be torched just to smell the burn, entire forests levelled to make a cosy nest, and hoards melted to solid gold right in front of their owners eyes. The path of fire was the path of destruction.

Other schools of dragons banded together to protect the land and fight off these bitches, leading to......a war. As it progressed, the fire dragons became more and more beastly, willingly corrupting themselves into charred monsters to better fight off their dragon kin. Their worst crime was influencing their eggs, making it so all their hatchlings would hatch into super charged fire dragons, unable to study any element other than fire.

The fire dragons were lead by the Flame Warden, and Acacia was his wife. Though corrupted by her husbands magic, the Good Guys tm saw that she wasn’t as battle brained as her flight. So they shoved her under their arm and bundled her off. they got rid of her corruption and with her help they took down her husband who is now, maybe trapped in stone? i dont know <3 hi

Acacia has been a mother to all the orphaned hatchlings left from that time, warming the eggs herself with her huge fluffy body. Her tail got burnt off in the fight with her ex, and her secondary study is life.

The fire dragons have claimed the Flame Wardens castle as their central academy, and its basically a huge basin with volcanos in the mountains and a big meadow. in the time since the fight, the land has healed.

Acacia hasn’t been accepted as the new queen that easily though. With her rule came a ban on destruction magic, with her labelling it forbidden. This means dragons that have dedicated their lives to that knowledge would have to stop using it completely, betraying all the work they’ve done. Through the years of the war the magic of the Flame Wardens high command morphed from Fire into something of its own, deep and corrupted.. But still magic. It cannot be unlearned, and this decision has caused a split in her flight.

In relation to the Maneskin Twitter fanbase this post pretty much sums at my feelings. I still enjoy them and their music but don't feel like I'm a good enough fan cause I'm not totally obsessed with them.

Honestly half the fans who act so gatekeepy and what not found them after Eurovision, and just became fans.

Despite this some people in the Twitter fandom act rude and cliquey they are welcoming or kind at all they all have their own groups and dont let anyone else in.

The constantly bitch about the band playing begging and not playing one of their other Italian songs among other petty gripes.
