lot of stuff has been deleted to be fair but basically a person on tiktok from the amateur post punk band donkey hotel who had joe as their drummer for a little while and he went by a stage name franklin atra, anyway they made a post about joe claiming he was horrible to them used the d slur and was overall a douche especially when he found out they were both dating the same girl, so anyway there was only one picture and video with him and the band and timelines and stuff didn't end up adding up so this person was asked clarifying info to which they deleted the tiktok and their account so it now just looks like they were trying to get recognition bc end of beginning is trending anyway cut to the tail end of last week unprompted joe keery brought up the band as well as post animal citing them as one of the cool band he worked with in the Chicago music scene so yeah I just found it funny @flippyspoon

Talk about Palestine and other injustices, call your representatives and email them, boycott companies and limit spending during the week. Get your grocery shopping in now and only buy essentials during the week, please. Limit interaction on posts other than injustices around the world. If you can, skip work or school, though this is a privilege not everyone has.

i sorta hate when my fav songs get tiktoked (end of beginning- djo) because my interpretation of the song for the past year because of the title and him mentioning his sister was that it was about his rise to fame and how he can never go back to his life before. that every thing is different and it will never be the same, he’s started something and his life is different - END OF BEGINNING - but when he goes home, when he goes to places he knew before it all and sees the people who knew him BEFORE his fame, he remembers who he was and he’s still that but he’s more. and yeah the tiktok’s are about that but they’re making it so literal with “my chicago” and its like guys please☹️☹️☹️

*puts hands on hollywood exec's shoulders, staring unblinking into their eyes* listen to me. you will never get people who hate musicals to like musicals by making your musical less of a musical. if you hide the fact that your film is a musical in the advertising, you're going to get a lot of low ratings from people who hate musicals and went into your movie not expecting a musical and got one anyway. people who hate musicals will hate them no matter how realistic and diegetic and lowkey you try to make it. they will hate musicals even if you completely excise anything complicated, over the top, silly, or even slightly challenging. they will hate musicals even if you cut half the songs. they will hate musicals even if you cast that a-lister who can't sing worth a damn. stop trying to market to people who hate musicals. they're a lost cause. your audience should be people who love musicals. this half-assed middle ground pisses off both camps. just embrace the fact that your movie is a musical. lean into it. don't try and trick musical haters into coming to your film when you could be marketing to the theater kids. better cringe than a coward.
