ive seen a lot of posts floating around about how like. you shouldn't be out here hating on former james somerton fans/illuminaughti fans/etc. for not realizing what he was doing and i do firmly agree with that like. it's soooo easy to be like 'well *I* check that my youtubers cite sources!!!' but do you really? do you REALLY? and hbomberguy thoroughly showed that it's easy to act like ur properly citing when ur not, and if u go uwu i'm immune to propaganda then. well. throws the garfield meme at you.
BUT AT THE SAME TIME i still think it's perfectly valid for there to be criticism because some of the shit that guy said was VILE. like im watching the todd in the shadows vid atm and im genuinely blown away. like, yes, when you sub 2 a youtuber you don't necessarily watch every single vid they make (esp when they're churned out like with somerton) but like the AIDS THING? CALLING THE GAYS WHO SURVIVED BORING??? WHO DOES THAT??? if you genuinely saw him say that and thought that was acceptable like. nah nah nah that's a perfectly valid thing to criticize on holy shit. or the way he weaponized his identities - again, that's not something u should say 'uwu oh well i'd NEVER fall for someone weaponizing their identity!!!' but you might!!! you might!!! but imo i personally. think those are valid things to criticize ppl abt.
like dont go around attacking or harassing former fans. it sucks for them. somerton is the real asshole here. but if u are a former fan i think its worth asking why u let things slide that u did

im not sure if this classifies as a quirk but i personally think that there are two things in particular sukuna is absolutely weak to!
first one - he can’t stand the cold, but he’s good at hiding it. lucky that he has an excellent immune system otherwise he’d always be getting sick on top of that
second one - he can’t stand spicy foods lmao,, he just cant!!! even a bit of sriracha sauce can get him all angrily teary eyed
it’s absolutely a secret tho, he won’t tell anyone about it and anyone that blabbers it out to everyone is getting their teeth knocked out
if he ate something thats ranked higher than tabasco sauce on the scoville scale then he’d probably need to get hospitalised
one extra “quirk”... when sukuna gets drunk, he turns into a total glutton
he’ll be ordering in so much food that you’ll be questioning if he has some kind of black hole in his stomach thats sucking in everything that he consumes
he’ll read the long ass receipt the next morning with a hangover, asking you if he really ate that much last night... and is gonna have to pay you back for the fees
as for hobbies, sukuna is good at anything thats got to do with sports (unsurprisingly) except for ones that require exceptional teamwork
i think he dabbles in everything thats got to do with combat/individual sports at some point tbh like boxing, martial arts, wrestling, tennis etc.
ties in well with his eating hobby - definitely would have a big belly if he didnt do any kind of physical activity with the amount that he eats
he likes listening to music and also watching action packed, violent films (but not horror, bc it doesnt really do anything for him)

First of all all of these messages are hilarious and i am choosing to imcorporate some of these ideas into my belief system. lets go girls:

who makes the important decisions? not who's generally more dominant, but life-or-death situations, who's calling the shots?
especially in a context where they've been together a long time, i think they equally do. if it has to do with their kids, i think it'd be Francis. stuff like where they live, buying a house, monumental decisions like that, or in dangerous situations, i think that's Arthur's domain.

around two months? they’ve gotten settled out of the government housing, thank god for that cause that place reminded them too much of fedra school. they’ve moved in with their new roomie, sarah. still haven’t asked their last name, but ellie’s okay with that. they’re still getting settled and don’t really talk about their life much either.
what is your character’s job -
gremlin child idk ??? honestly , i think they’d end up going back to school, figure it out from here. i really don’t think she’s well adjusted enough to hold down like any steady job right now.

either way, ellie is a child born after the fall of the world as we knew it, she is raised within fedra’s QZ’s, and when she was a teenager, she went on a date with her best friend/**girlfriend** thank u , and then they were attacked. one of the infected came after them and bit both ellie and riley.
fast forward, ellie does not!! turn!!!!! how !!!!!! inquiring minds would love to know
but bestie is immune to the fungus, and is then brought into firefly custody, to be shipped to a lab across the country that they’ll be able to use her to help form a cure. enter joel
joel gets fucking thrown into being the delivery person for ellie, and highjinks ensue. aka, you have one hell of an emotional development of found family !!! it’s beautiful, it’s great, ellie and joel would both fucking die or kill for each other and they have on multiple occasions.
a lot of it comes down to the fact that joel with kill to get back to ellie, and ellie will kill to protect herself to find him again.
i could really sit here and give so many details about the two of them, about how ellie goes from being just cargo to being baby girl, but i really do not want to give it away. it’s just 9 episodes i will give you my hbo login pls go watch it
basically, this is my pun loving, sarcastic, every other word is a swear, heart of gold, but will absolutely choose her own, and joel’s survival above anyone else, child.
i am going to be taking my time getting their voice right, because i really do love this character, i want to do them justice when i am coming in on just a little bit of the media, so bare with me lkgdfjkg im also keeping out some more serious details about what happens to them for tw purposes.

happy sleepover saturday my dude!! im watching the lego movie for the first time with a friend and trying not to die (<- has zero spice tolerance but is also not immune to kung pao chicken's allure) (its so tasty.... 🥺) what are some of your favorite animated movies? do you like spicy food/do you have a spice tolerance? 💖
HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON!! great movie and genuinely one of the best film scores ever written. the sequels are not bad too but nothing beats the original. into the spiderverse of course and the mitchells vs the machines...spirited away and princess mononoke...ratatouille, the incredibles, monsters inc, good classic pixar...shrek 1 and 2 (obv), kung fu panda (esp 2), road to el dorado, prince of egypt, good classic dreamworks...it's kinda tough to think of movies that aren't just at the top of Anyone's list of good animated movies tbh. shoutout to chicken run and wallace and gromit curse of the wererabbit -- DELIGHTFUL aardman films. there's also a 2010 japanese animated film called colorful that i like quite a bit, i've been meaning to rewatch that.
and yes i love spicy food! i'm not a masochist about it and i do have my limits but i usually like to go for like a 3/5 or a medium spicy option when presented with a choice of spice level, and i can usually tolerate more chili spice than my friends. we grow a LOT of hot peppers in our garden at home every summer and have a lot of fun cooking with them all year (they freeze really well!)
