[OSEN=지민경 기자] 그룹 아이콘(iKON)이 일본에서 인기 상승세를 이어가고 있어 주목된다.

20일 YG엔터테인먼트에 따르면 아이콘의 일본어 앨범 ‘FLASHBACK [+ i DECIDE]’가 이날 발표된 라인뮤직 앨범 톱100 주간 차트(2022.7.13~2022.7.19)서 1위를 차지했다.

아울러 오리콘 주간 앨범 차트(2022.7.11~2022.7.17)서도 최상위권에 진입, 쟁쟁한 아티스트들 사이에서 굳건한 존재감을 뽐냈다.

실물 음반에 앞서 음원으로 먼저 발매됐던 타이틀곡 ‘너라는 이유 (BUT YOU)’ 일본어 버전은 현지 주요 음악 사이트 실시간 랭킹 정상을 밟았을뿐 아니라 라쿠텐뮤직 주간 차트 1위에 오른 바 있다.

아이콘은 현지 팬들의 뜨거운 성원에 힘입어 일본 투어(iKON JAPAN TOUR 2022) 일정을 확대, 오는 10월 22일과 23일 양일간 오사카성 홀서 3회 추가 공연을 연다.

최근 진행된 효고현 고베 월드기념홀 3회 공연과 도쿄 국립 요요기 경기장 제1체육관 마지막 공연이 전석 매진되며 팬들의 요청이 쇄도했던 것으로 알려졌다.

한편 아이콘의 이번 일본어 앨범에는 총 12곡이 담겼다. 아이콘 미니 3집·4집 전곡과 디지털 싱글 ‘왜왜왜 (Why Why Why)’ 일본어 버전, ‘열중쉬어 (AT EASE)’ 한국어 버전이 보너스 트랙으로 더해졌다.

He shouldn’t have been this angry with you. Hell he shouldn’t have even been angry in the first place. Yet his blood was boiling while glaring at the picture in front of him. A-Are you okay?” The voice of the groups maknae caused the five other males who were goofing off to turn their attention over to the duo. Donghyuk couldn’t even speak without his veins popping out from his neck in anger.

“She’s back with that loser.” He spat out in disbelief covering his mouth with his hand leaning closer to the picture. The group fell silent all glancing towards one another. They knew how happy their dance king was when you’d first confided in him about your breakup. He spoke of how he was going to confess to you when the time was right & swoon you head over heels. The hidden leader in the group felt someone nudge his arm with their elbow causing him to turn towards the culprit. “Your good with words. Shouldn’t you go say something?” The two rappers of the group said to Yunhyeong.

The older male walked towards Donghyuk looking over the picture that was destroying their dancing machine. Someone had taken the picture from the outside of the coffee shop where you sat across the table from the one they called the cheater. “Donghyuk. This picture isn’t the full story. You need to calm down and talk to her once you do. Don’t be hostile towards her but, be the friend you’ve always been for her.” The words of iKON’s hidden leader didn’t reach the younger male at all. His eyes stayed glaring at the picture in anger.

“I’ll be back.” The angry male muttered under his breath getting up rapidly from his seated position. “Dong wait!” “Stop it!” “Hang on!” The groups callings didn’t make the male budge as he took long steps towards the door. “Hajima! If you do something now you’ll only make things worse.” The second youngest Junhoe said standing near the door to stop the angry Donghyuk who simply shoved him away harshly.

“Hey?! Why are you crying?” A six year old Donghyuk asked a six year old you who sat on the steps towards your home. “The girls from class said I couldn’t play with them because they don’t like me.” You said wiping your tears away while more looked in your (e/c) eyes. Donghyuk stood in front of you using his shirt to wipe your entire face until your tears were gone. “Who cares what they say half of them are dumber than rocks. Besides you have me right?” He said offering you his hand to pull you up from the steps. “Right!”

For what seemed like the fifth night in a row Donghyuk stayed the night at your apartment. Cradling you in his arms making sure you slept your full eight hours even if it meant he didn’t. You inhaled making you shutter from all the crying you’d done all day until he’d gotten here. “Shh. It’s okay. I’m right here.” He whispered rubbing soft gentle circles on your back. You unconsciously wrapped your arms around the male burying your face into his shirt.

He knew he should’ve been happy that you were now done with the guy who cheated on you. However seeing you crying like you would as kids hurt him even more than he would’ve thought. It always hurt him to see you crying. As of late he noticed his need to always protect you and to make sure you were happy wasn’t just something a best friend would do. He loved you. He felt like he always had but he knew he couldn’t throw all of this on you when you’d just gone through a break up. He told himself that night he’d wait for you.

He thought you would too.

You were in your apartment adjusting your cardigan for what was the millionth time in your head. You’d met up with your ex who was begging you to at least talk to him. You being the kind girl you’ve always been agreed. You had met at a small coffee shop in Seoul called Yuji’s. He’d talked about how he needed you back and how much he’d missed you. However he also said that he knew you deserved better. He knew he wasn’t ready to settle down just yet and couldn’t give you what you wanted , but he did want to continue being your friend.

The entire time he was speaking your best friend crossed your mind over and over. Something he’d noticed and brought up to you. You told him how you’ve been spending time with Donghyuk and how you always seemed to think of him lately. Simple stuff like if he’d slept enough, if he’d washed his face before going to sleep, if Yunhyeong has made him his favorite food.

“You really are clueless huh?” A smirk came across the cheating males face while he chugged back his coffee. You narrowed your eyes at the male in confusion not replying. “You couldn’t even tell when I liked you. (Y/n) you’re in love with Donghyuk you dummy.” He said flicking your forehead softly making with wince lightly and rub your forehead. You stared silently at the cup of hot chocolate in front of you twirling it around softly. The thought had came across once in a while but you simply shoved that impulse to the back of your mind.

“He’s my best friend. If he doesn’t like me back then all of our memories will be something I’ll have to leave behind me. I can’t do that. I’d rather see Donghyuk happy with someone else if that meant I got to be by his side.” You said with water forming in your eyes. The male across the table sighed to himself rolling his eyes dramatically. “(Y/n) what if DK would be more happy with you and you’d never know.” You stared at the male in confusion not understanding if this was the same man who’d cheated on you. He was probably right though so you figured. It’s worth a shot.

The sound of your front door slamming closed made you jump turning towards your bedroom door. “(Y/n)?!” The familiar voice made your heart race lightly. That is until you noticed his tone. A tone you only ever seen him use once with a bully back in your old neighborhood. He was pissed. “In the room!” You shouted back fixing your hair lightly.

You stood in front of the mirror when your bedroom door opened and shut loudly. You turned in concern seeing the man you loved with eyes as red as his shoes he wore. “Dongie? What’s wrong.” You said turning walking towards the male who had tears forming from his eyes. Panic began to settle in making you run and grab tissues from your dresser.

All his anger seemed to disappear seeing you. He stared with widened eyes at you while you pulled the tissues one after another out the box. You were beautiful and he couldn’t help but stare. “(Y/n) sit down.” He said in a hurt voice making you turn in confusion. “B-But your eyes a-” before you could finish the male spoke up “Please! I just need you to sit down.” He said again with his voice cracking at the end of his sentence. Without another word you sat down on the edge of your bed while the male made his way over to you. The male got the chair that was usually in the corner of your room and dragged it so he’d be sitting facing you directly.

He leaned forward and grasped your hand lightly. “(Y/n) I know this is way over due but I still need to say it.” He sniffled his nose looking down at his hand that was now shaking in your hand. “I need you to be happy but it’s hard sometimes. I’m pretty sure I love you more than I love dancing who knows.” He chuckled lightly never meeting your eyes that were now glossy. “I think I’ve always loved you. It just wasn’t until I saw you and that jerk getting back together that I noticed. I made me so mad I was ready to come over here and tell you that you were an idiot and I never wanted to see you again but..but.”

He lowered his head even more making sure you couldn’t see his face while he cried. For him seeing you cry always made him sad and slightly angry at whoever made you cry. For you seeing him cry made your stomach hurt and your throat burn, it was painful and heartbreaking. “When you turned and looked at me just now it... The thought of never seeing you again scared me. I’ll always be here for you (Y/n) but I just needed you to know that I love you.”

Instinctively you released his hand wrapping your arms around his head bringing him closer to you. Almost as if it was a shock Donghyuk wrapped his arms around you tightly resting his head on your chest letting go of all his anger through his cries. You ran one hand and up and down his back as gently and softly as he’d do with you. The other hand stayed on the males head softly running your fingers through his soft black locks. “Please don’t cry.” You murmered softly through a cracked voice while tears formed in your eyes.

“It hurts me so much when you cry. It makes me sad to see you hurt. It makes me sad everytime you have to leave this crappy apartment even though I know you have to.” You said giggling lightly at the last part. Slowly Donghyuk’s back rose and fell rythmically with a few shutters here and there signaling he was down crying. “I love you Kim Donghyuk and I’m pretty sure I always have.” You said placing a soft kiss at the top of his head.

Slowly Donghyuk rose his head seeing you already a crying messs even more than he was. He placed his hands on your waist pulling you onto him to sit on his lap. You both sat there facing one another with tears falling from your eyes still. Donghyuk grabbed the side of your face gently guiding your lips to his slowly. Something that scared you but also made you anxious to finally feel what his lips felt like against yours.

Slowly but surely your lips met one another in a small gentle connection. You both pulled away to glance at one another then again went back to each other’s lips. No one was fighting for any dominance as your lips moved smoothly against the others. It was a kiss that went the same as your friendship did, in a rhythmic motion. He pulled away from you leaving you to stare in confusion at the male. “Aren’t you back with.. I mean. Isn’t it wrong to be here with me when your back with your boyfriend.” He asked wiping away the little tears that were left in your eyes with his thumb gently.

“Boyfriend? No!!! We aren’t back together. He wanted to meet and talk about things that made a lot of sense. He wasn’t ready for a real relationship and we started talking about you. He called me a dummy for not realizing that I had loved you so no. We’re not together.” You said slightly embarrassed wiping away the tears from his face gently. His lovley smile came to his face as he pulled you towards him in a lung crushing hug. “That’s good jagiya. It wouldn’t look too good if you had two boyfriends huh?” You couldn’t help but smile wrapping your arms around his neck resting your head on his shoulder. “Right.”

The two of you stayed there in silence in one another’s arms until he groaned loudly. “Crap. I shoved Junhoe today pretty hard. He’s gonna’ kill me once I get back. Yunhyeong is gonna give me an earful when I get back. Mmmm! Unless my super kind jagiya lets me stay the night here?” He said kissing your temple softly making you look up at the mischievous male. You kissed him one last time on his lips before pulling yourself up from his lap. Now standing on your feet you offered your hand to the male.

“Come on Dongie! Let’s go get some food and a cake to apologize to them. We don’t run away from our problems anymore remember? Then afterwards if you still want to stay here you can ask Jinhwan oppa and if he says yes then yes!” Donghyuk stared at you with gentle eyes while you stood with your hand still out. He was happy you thought of his members consideration too. For the first time in a long time he was happy. He just wasn’t sure if he was entirely okay with you calling Jinhwan oppa.

You know I wish I could say 'Well at least they come back and we will finally get to see them' but that's seriously not the way I feel about this. Not with cheap teasers like that. Not 6 days before the comeback. Not in the middle of their Japan dome tour. Not a week after PSY's album release. Not with any promo or media play. Other artists get a month before, but for iKON the company doesn't even seem to try. iKON is a group of 7 boys and instead of posting concept pics or video teaser for each member so everyone gets to know them, they put out an low quality teaser pic again. And not just that, they also only get low quality video clips on yg's Instagram instead of a real trailer. This gives me flashbacks to their comeback. It seems rushed, a bad timing & super cheap so far. I'm mad because their QUALITY MUSIC doesn't deserve to be promoted cheap like this. I know they will do well, I know they won't disappoint musically wise BUT they deserve better, their music and iKONICs deserve better. You know I wouldn't be mad if this was the first time they got treated like this but this happens all the time. I'm more shocked when they actually get quality stuff. The season greetings quality have been going downhill for a while. The second half of the Japan tour looked cheap af! And now instead of putting in the money and planning out the comeback and Japan dome tour a bit better, they plan to release new songs just in the middle of the Japan dome tour. What means that the boys will perform the old songs at the first Japan dome tour concert AGAIN. They've been touring for almost 2 years with only one album. iKON brings in the money and the company doesn't spend it on them. Na, instead they keep releasing merch and bad quality dvds so they can milk the money out of them. I know we should have more patience and wait for Monday to see if the mv's are good or if yge will maybe release video teasers in the next few days. But I'm just tired of it tbh. I keep hoping and hoping for better and more. I know the boys have grown a lot but the company seems to be in their way to show that growth to the world. But whatever, this is just me ranting about how I feel about the cb so far and iKON's place in the company in general. Honestly, I will take everything back if yge proves they actually care for the boys and show us some quality soon.

19일 YG엔터테인먼트에 따르면 아이콘은 오는 10월 22일과 23일 양일간 일본 오사카성 홀서 3회 추가 공연을 확정했다.

팬들의 폭발적인 반응 덕분이다. 실제 최근 개최된 아이콘의 효고현 고베 월드기념홀 3회 공연에 이어 도쿄 국립 요요기 경기장 제1체육관 마지막 공연이 전석 매진된 바 있다.

YG 측은 “티켓을 미처 구하지 못한 팬들로부터 공연 문의 및 일정 추가 요청이 쇄도했다”며 “아이콘 멤버들은 이에 감사한 마음을 담아 기대 이상의 무대로 보답할 것”이라고 전했다.

이로써 아이콘은 오사카에서 다시 한 번 아이코닉 재팬(팬덤명)과 만나게 됐다. 여러 무대로 증명된 아이콘의 압도적 라이브와 퍼포먼스를 직접 보고 들을 수 있는 기회인 만큼 큰 호응이 예상된다.

[뉴스엔=황혜진 기자] 그룹 아이콘(iKON)이 일본 투어 첫 공연을 통해 뜨거운 현지 인기를 증명했다.

7월 4일 소속사 YG엔터테인먼트에 따르면 아이콘은 2일과 3일 양일간 일본 효고현 고베 월드기념홀에서 ‘iKON JAPAN TOUR 2022′(아이콘 재팬 투어 2022) 막을 올렸다.

이틀간 3회 차로 열린 이번 투어는 전석 매진돼 뜨거웠던 현지 반응을 실감하게 했다.

무대에 오른 아이콘은 특유의 강렬한 퍼포먼스와 흔들림 없는 라이브 역량으로 관객들의 뜨거운 함성에 화답했다. ‘죽겠다 (KILLING ME)’를 필두로 새 앨범 수록곡 무대, ‘취향저격 (MY TYPE)’, ‘사랑을 했다 (LOVE SCENARIO)’ 등 히트곡 퍼레이드로 약 150분간 열정적인 공연을 펼쳤다.

특히 아이콘은 이번 공연에서 ‘뛰어들게 (DIVE)’와 ‘너라는 이유 (BUT YOU)’ 일본어 버전 라이브 무대를 최초 공개해 공연장 분위기를 한층 뜨겁게 달궜다.

이번 공연에서는 코로나19 방역 지침에 따라 떼창과 환호가 허용되지 않았다. 그러나 아이콘과 팬 모두 한 마음으로 서로에 대한 진심을 표현했다.

6월 27일 소속사 YG엔터테인먼트에 따르면 아이콘은 6월 25일과 26일 서울 송파구 방이동 올림픽공원 올림픽홀에서 2022 CONCERT [FLASHBACK]’을 개최했다.

아이콘은 이번 콘서트를 통해 아이코닉(팬덤명)과 3년 6개월 만에 재회했다. 러닝타임 내내 지치지 않는 에너지를 뿜어내며 묵은 한을 해소했다.

‘죽겠다 (KILLING ME)’로 막을 올린 아이콘은 ‘BLING BLING'(블링 블링), ‘시노시작 (SINOSIJAK)’으로 공연장 분위기를 달궜다.

이어 최근 발표한 미니 4집 앨범 ‘FLASHBACK'(플래시백)의 수록곡 ‘용(龍) (DRAGON)’, 강렬한 사운드의 ‘열중쉬어 (AT EASE)’ 무대를 팬들 앞에서 최초 공개했다.

히트곡 퍼레이드도 이어졌다. 연달아 흘러나온 ‘리듬 타 (RHYTHM TA)’ ‘취향저격’ ‘사랑을 했다 (LOVE SCENARIO)’ ‘덤앤더머 (DUMB & DUMBER)’ 무대에 기립한 팬들은 마스크 너머 떼창으로 화답했다. 아름다운 밴드 사운드와 공연장 전체를 압도하는 듯한 영상 연출, 화려한 특수효과도 더해졌다.

바비는 자신의 솔로곡 ‘주옥 (HeartBROKEN PlaYBoY)’ ‘DeViL’로 힙합 스웨그 진수를 드러냈고, 기타를 품에 안은 구준회는 묵직하면서도 서정적인 ‘깊은 밤’을 열창했다. 송윤형은 트로트 가수로 변신, 이번 콘서트를 위해 준비한 곡 ‘낄끼빠빠’로 유쾌함을 더했다.

이번 콘서트에서는 아이콘과 전 세계 아이코닉의 소중한 순간들이 한 편의 영화처럼 LED 스크린 위에 흐르는가 하면 팬들의 깜짝 슬로건 이벤트가 펼쳐져 멤버들의 눈가를 촉촉하게 했다.

아이콘은 “우리가 존재하는 이유는 여러분”이라고 말했다. 이어 “항상 곁을 지켜주셔서 감사하다. 팬분들께 더욱 자랑스러운 아이콘이 되도록 하겠다”며 감격의 눈물을 흘렸다.

아이콘은 “모든 시간이 행복했고 살아있다는 느낌을 받았다. 붉은빛 콘배트(응원봉)를 보는데 우주 속에 있는 것 같기도 했다”며 “팬분들에게 받은 에너지를 돌려드릴 수 있어서 영광이다. 더 오래, 자주 뵙고 싶다”고 덧붙였다.
