y’all i’m so sorry i’m hardly active on here, i really am.

i sound like a whiny baby but i’m so exhausted all the time, and mentally and physically i’m just not doing well. this has been feeding my depression and making it worse, which isn’t helping in the slightest. why do these always keep getting really long lmao

tl;dr i'm tired and all i do is sleep or lay around and rest and do nothing productive and it's taking a toll on me bc idk when i'm getting anymore extended time off and i just want to have time to properly rest and recuperate w/o worrying about work. and it's preventing me from doing anything productive

i'm a broken record but idc anymore man.

my vacation keeps getting pushed back, and i’m ngl, i’m still miffed my boss hasn’t even talked to me about it. i’m just. so tired. so physically tired that atp, if i let myself sleep without getting up to do anything that i need to do, i am getting around 12 hours of sleep or more. that’s literally half the day. i should not be sleeping that much of my time away, and it’s because my body is literally exhausted to the point that i’ve been getting headaches and fighting to stay awake while at work even when i am getting normal amounts of sleep.

i can't keep going on like this, and i really hope it changes soon bc it makes me want to cry. i hate feeling this way, feeling so sick and tired all the time. i just want my frickin extra time off, and the fact that my boss won't even talk to me about it just upsets me even more. the asm will literally pitch a fit if she can't get her vacation time or keep her off days. she does it all the time. when she starts trying to put her vacations in too close together and the sm rejects it, she will come to the store on her time off and demand to know why her time off requests were denied. she rarely has to cover for anyone if they call out, and when she does, she doesn't hesitate to let everyone know how pissy she is about it.

and not to go back to it, but that's a thing that really pisses me off about the sm trying to guilt trip me for wanting that one off-day back. i'm not like the asm. i don't gripe to all my coworkers about not having off this day or that day or whatever. i have not ever, actually, said anything to her about all the 9 - 13 day "weeks" she keeps scheduling me for (which will probably change, bc if i found out that the reason i have next weekend off is bc she's scheduling me for an extra long work "week" again, i will be saying something to her bc i'm fucking tired of it. i should not have to work two damn weeks for one day off). i have quite literally NEVER said anything about my off-days being taken without her contacting me before—even when that's been the reason i've had to work 13 days straight, but whatever—unless i had to remind her about certain times i'd already requested off bc of prior appointments (mostly for medical), and it's rare i have to say anything to her about that. i keep my displeasure to myself and bitch to my mom or on here, but i never say anything to my coworkers or my boss bc i don't like feeling like i'm being a nuisance.

but like??? that was the first double she'd had to pull in months. i've pulled more than they have, bc of someone calling out and the asm and other coworkers refusing to cover for anyone. and i still don't feel sorry for her covering that night bc she got the next day off. if i'd just let it stand and not said anything to her, it would've lead to another one of those 13-day work "weeks" for me and i wasn't having that lmfao. and, like, i am the only one that this happens to regularly. not even the girl who wants to work for days on end with no time off gets to do that. the sm has denied her requests of less time off because "you need to take time off, no one can work like that without a break here and there." which is true, yeah, but it's really fucking hypocritical bc?? she expects me to?????? she's scheduled me for these long ass "weeks" more than anyone in that store without even asking me if i'm okay with it, so????? fuck that.

it fucking sucks and it makes me wonder if i made the right decision about not taking a chance on that work-from-home job i found. i can't tell if i dodged a bullet by listening to the reviews, or if i screwed up a really good chance.

let me have my extended time off! damn!

“What’s wrong this time, son?” His mom asks yet again. She’s not sure how many times Wonwoo has refused to actually pursue the girls she has set him up with. But, then again, she’s his mom and she knows Wonwoo only has his eyes–and heart–on the Yoons’ only daughter.

She can think of a few scenarios on why he hasn’t tried to pursue the heiress either.

“Just not my type,” he shrugs nonchalantly over dinner. He knows this talk was coming the moment his mom calls him over to have dinner on the family house; she has even extended the invitation to you, who was with Wonwoo when she called, but you already promised Jeonghan you’ll eat with him so you make sure instead to invite his mom to lunch one of these days.

“Do you even have a type?” His dad asks, serious and oblivious of his son’s affection towards his childhood friend.

Jinyoung shares a look with his mom, not even bothering to comment on it when Wonwoo simply shrugs and says he’s not looking to be in a relationship now.

“Why do you even keep on setting me up?” he asks, trying his best to bite back the tired and annoyed tone. This is his parents and he has to be polite.

“We’re not getting any younger, son.”

“Then ask Jinyoung to get married? He’s literally the oldest son here,” he offers innocently, earning a glare from his brother. “You’ve been dating Jisoo for what–5 years? Why haven’t you proposed yet?”

“Not your business,” Jinyoung simply answers, stopping the discussion there. “But Wonwoo’s right, Mom. You don’t need to worry about his lovelife. He’s simply not interested for now and you shouldn’t push it.”

Their mom sighs, once again muttering about how she just wants the best for him. Their dad doesn’t fuss too much about it, either because Wonwoo’s the youngest or because Jinyoung’s set with a serious girlfriend anyway.

But Wonwoo figures his mom is probably bored because she doesn’t get to play cupid like her friends. He rarely even agrees when she says she wants to set him up with someone, and the few times he does, it’s because he’s either interested in the family’s company or he already knows the other person isn’t looking for a relationship either.

“Who did you meet anyway?” his brother asks, suddenly curious.

“Han Yerin,” his mom answers instead, eyes twinkling at the thought of playing cupid.

Jinyoung snorts, and at least he still has enough manners to reach for a napkin and close his mouth as he does so. “You couldn’t have chosen a better date for him? What made you agree this time?”

“Mom promised not to set me up on blind dates again until the year ends,” he shrugs, not minding his mother’s pout. “Plus, I heard one of their subholdings is branching to Singapore so I wanted to see if I can prod.”

“You made me promise that,” she sighs dramatically. “Honestly, if it’s not because of that partnership with their company and I already promised her mom, I wouldn’t have agreed with your condition.”

“I’ve always thought you’re bound to get tired already, Mom,” Jinyoung chirps again as he nudges his younger brother for some tissue. “None of the date has seen a second time but you’re still so adamant on setting him up on one.”

Their mother sighs and says something about not stopping until Wonwoo finds himself a girlfriend, because it’s fun and she has never forced Wonwoo to actually date any of them anyway.

Ultimately, it’s his decision if he wants to take things further, and as much as it’s annoying to go on these occasional dates, Wonwoo’s still glad his mom has never pushed him into an actual relationship with any of them.

Deep down, he figures that’s the reason why he goes (albeit reluctantly) to these dates as well; he knows it makes his mom happy and there’s no real commitment behind it. He would never understand how it makes her happy, but that’s really the last of his problems. If anything, at least he gets to dig about their family companies most of the time.

“Speaking of,” their mom speaks up once again. “Have you heard Jennie is returning to Korea some time next week?”

Wonwoo chokes on his food at the mention of her name, with Jinyoung quickly patting him in the back as he tries to calm himself down. The older brother looks at him in concern, his mind floating to you.

He's heard from Jennie herself that she's going to be in Seoul after so long, and between his meetings and reports, he's forgotten to tell his brother about it. It's been quite sometime since the girl is going to stay in her birth country for so long, and the first thing that popped up in his mind when he heard the news was you.

Jinyoung isn’t sure why, but even though you’ve always had a high self-esteem and self-assurance, Jennie Kim is the one exception that makes you feel queasy inside. And if Jinyoung is already worried about this, God knows how Wonwoo is feeling inside.

Jennie is a family friend, one that lives mostly abroad than within the country–even right now she mostly stays in France with her parents. She spent half of her childhood in South Korea, and because her mom is somewhat close with their mom, she often made Jennie play with the Jeon siblings and, by extension, you.

You’ve never explicitly said or even shown that you have any distaste towards the girl, but, even in their young ages, Jinyoung, Wonwoo, and Shua had it in them to notice that you got quiet everytime Jennie was present.

Jinyoung knew Shua had asked about it before, somewhere during your high school holiday when Jennie had suddenly joined the short vacation in Toulouse all of you had been planning for a while. You were so excited when you got off the plane, and Jinyoung still remembers the way you stilled the moment Jennie came to pick you up at the airport as a surprise. Of course she was going to be there, she was living in the country, after all, and she probably heard from Wonwoo’s mom that you're visiting for the holiday.

“Did she tell you anything?” he had asked Shua, his brotherly instinct kicking in after seeing you quiet most of the time when you were the most excited about this trip before.

The younger guy had just shook his head, telling Jinyoung you had refused to tell him if anything’s bothering you. “I… don’t think it’s something she wants to talk about, at least not now. You know she rarely keeps things from me.”

“For what reason?” Jinyoung asks even if he knows already, well aware that Wonwoo’s curious but wouldn’t sound it himself.

“I’m not entirely sure,” their mom answers honestly. “But I think she’s shooting a… photobook? For her portfolio, I suppose.”

It’s to no one’s surprise that Jennie Kim, in line to take over Ruby Corp., is quick to climb up the business ladder and is already a world famous high fashion designer at her young age. She does have the talent for it, and is also very meticulous at everything she does, but everyone knows her parents’ connections get her everywhere quicker than anyone else would.

People (the elders, to be particular) were skeptical at first, not getting why she’d become a designer when her family owns a giant fashion company for her to manage. But Jennie has always loved drawing clothes, has always loved dressing people up too, so when she declared she’d learn their family business while she takes on the challenge to be a high fashion designer, her parents couldn’t really say no to that.

Wonwoo’s mind wanders to you, perhaps Jennie wouldn’t be here for long and you wouldn’t have to meet her.

You’ve never explicitly said anything to him, but Wonwoo knows Jennie makes you uncomfortable. In what way or why, he’s still not sure, but what he’s certain of is he doesn’t like you being uncomfortable and he doesn’t like your eerie silence–they worry him, and Wonwoo has never been good at dealing with his worries when it comes to you.

But your parents have never really cared about this, or maybe they don’t notice their daughter’s obvious discomfort in the Kims’ heiress’ presence, which is why they always make you hang out–if what they consider hanging out is politely meet up–with her everytime you’re in the same city.

It is good publicity, after all.

Jennie doesn’t seem to mind your quietness either. He wonders if she knows you’re not… you in her presence, if Jennie’s simply unbothered, or if she’s making a statement. But at least she doesn’t treat you differently and simply acts like she doesn’t notice that you rarely initiate anything with her.

“–and so you’ll have to take care of her okay?” his mom’s voice brings him back to reality.

“Who?” he blinks in confusion. “Sorry, I missed what you were saying.”

“Jennie will be here for at least two months, Wonwoo,” she repeats patiently, used to her son’s tendency to zone out in the middle of meals. “Take care of her, okay? I know you’re busy but I’ve promised her mom we'll take care of her while she’s here.”

Wonwoo sighs, having an internal battle in his mind. He doesn’t… dislike Jennie, she is still an old friend and she’s actually one of the few people in this society that isn’t hypocritical. She’s pretty nice, actually, and she’s a very good friend to have which is why the whole thing is all the more complicated.

If she had been another spoiled rich kid, it’d be easier to just brush her off and tell his parents he couldn’t spare time to babysit the girl. But Jennie is a good friend, perhaps not a close one, but she’s still a good friend nevertheless and it would just be plain rude if he were to ignore her.

It wouldn’t be polite.

Ironically, everything you do around Jennie is just polite. You’ve always been fiery for as long as Wonwoo has known you, but whatever fire you have within you has never appeared in front of her. You don’t get quiet around people unless you dislike them that much, and Wonwoo knows you don’t harbor any ill feelings towards the other girl–it’s not apathy either, and it’s the one and only thing that Wonwoo has never managed to figure out about you.

“Invite her to lunch or dinner once she arrives, okay?”

The finality in his mom’s voice tells him he’s got no choice either way.

“Hey Won.” You close the door of his office.

It’s past lunch, somewhere around 3PM, and you’re here after your last meeting of the day; you’ve still got a lot of documents to review, but Chan, Wonwoo’s secretary, has called you earlier because Wonwoo’s in one of his mood and hasn’t left his office at all, which is concerning. You’ve given him the go to call you everytime it happens, and you’re certain it is bad because Chan has never taken that option unless he really has to.

“Did Chan call you?” he grumbles from his desk, a frown evident in his face.

“No, I was just in the area after a meeting,” you lie easily, searching for his face. “Have you eaten lunch?”

Wonwoo makes a sound from the back of his throat that you don’t really know how to translate, but it doesn’t matter because you’re set on making him stop working anyway. Even from where you’re sitting, it’s clear that his whole body is tense; he’s trying his best to keep it together even though he’s burnt and stressed out.

“Are they urgent?” you softly ask as you make your way to him. “Think you can accompany me out for a bit?”

He’s really not in the mood to go out, though spending time with you does sound much more appealing than staying here with this hell of a workload. To top it off, people have been pissing him off since morning so his mood is completely sour to the point where even Chan is staying away from him.

He’s about to reject your offer though, because he still has a lot of work to do and he really doesn’t want to lash out on you by accident. But how can he when you’re looking at him like that? When you’re standing right beside him and your thumb is softly caressing his shoulder?

“Come on, they’re not urgent, are they?” you smile at him, planting your palm against the side of his face. Wonwoo immediately leans into the touch, he closes his eyes and exhales a deep breath as if it helps him let go of the stress he’s been carrying all day. You see his shoulders relaxing and you can only huff in satisfaction as he does so.

It sounds somewhat conceited to say it yourself, but it’s clear even to you why people always look for you when Wonwoo’s not in a good place. It works the other way around too, only Wonwoo can get to you when you refuse practically everyone else.

“Let’s go?” you ask after a while, relishing the feeling of his lips on your palm before he pulls away.

“Yeah,” his low voice greets you at last, the sight of his smile making you sigh in relief. “Let’s go.”

“Chan called you, didn’t he?” Wonwoo tries once again, and then reaches out to tuck your hair behind your ear before it falls into the bowl of patbingsoo in front of you.

“Hmm, this is very good,” you deflect as you shove another spoonful into your mouth. “You should start eating too, Won. They’re going to melt.”

He shakes his head in amusement before doing exactly what you tell him to. Gosh, even he knows he’s so whipped for you it’s not even funny. There would be times when he’d try to trace back when the whole thing started, try to remember if there were times when he did not love you.

But he always draws a blank. He couldn’t think of a time when his heart doesn’t belong to you; not when you cried to him because Jinyoung pulled your hair a little too hard when you were five, not when you whispered to him the big secret of you finding your first boyfriend in junior high school, not when you told him some guy called Jihoon stole your first kiss during high school.

Not even when you went through a phase of sleeping around just to piss your parents off.

And certainly not now, when you readily set aside your hell of a workload just to make sure Wonwoo’s not too stressed.

Wonwoo knows you’ve been too busy these days to a concerning point, something that he’s been meaning to talk to you about but hasn’t found the time to. The few times he’s found you in his place, you’re already fast asleep and, at times, you didn’t even get to charge your phone and turn off your laptop because you’re way too tired.

And if that’s not telling enough, the fact that you rarely talk to him these days is. You rarely let Wonwoo to himself, always making sure to talk to him at least twice a day to make sure he doesn’t forget to take a bite. So when a few days passed and Wonwoo sees the last time you’ve contacted him is three days ago, he knows you’re much too busy than he would’ve liked.

“How’s the preparation going?”

“For which one?” you ask sheepishly, well aware that Wonwoo’s still not happy you’re doing three projects at once.

Your friend clicks his tongue in disapproval. “The charity dinner.”

“I told you that one’s practically finished Won,” you pout. “You know the dinner’s next week.”

“It’s not finished if you still have to meet the florist today, princess,” he huffs tiredly, completely worried. He truly wishes he’s imagining the growing dark circles under your eyes and the way you’re more quiet than you usually are, but he knows the telltale of you being worn out and he’s sure you’re going to get sick in a few days if you don’t take an actual rest.

“How did you know I have a meeting with the florist…” you mumble to yourself, which Wonwoo provides the answer to by telling you he’s heard from Seungcheol. “I really should stop letting you befriend every single one of my staff. Anyway, they just told me last minute that there's a problem with one of the flowers so I had to change the bouquets concept a little, okay?”

Wonwoo gives you an unimpressed look, brows furrowed. “You need to rest, you know? Won’t be any good if you’re going to be too tired and can’t attend when the event is due.”

“I am resting now, aren’t I?” you say cheekily, trying your best not to worry him. You know he’s true, that Shua and Jeonghan’s concern since that day is valid, and it’s also true that you’ve been lightheaded for the past few days, often having to hold on to something when you try to stand up from your seat.

Wonwoo doesn’t need to know that though, and you’ll make sure to eat a proper meal and take your supplements before it gets worse.

That should do it.

“You wouldn’t be if Chan didn’t call you,” he retorts back.

“Won, he’s worried and probably afraid you’ll fire someone out of anger again if I don’t take you out of the office,” you try to make light of the situation. “And it’s my best friend duty to bother you, remember?”

“It happened once,” he cringes everytime he remembers that episode. “And the guy totally deserved it regardless of my mood. Anyway, it’s also my best friend duty to make sure you’re not becoming a walking zombie.”

“It’s not that bad,” you pout. “Tomorrow is my last packed schedule before the charity dinner takes place and I don’t have any meeting the day after tomorrow. I already plan on catching up on sleep then, okay?”

Wonwoo sighs once again and puts down his spoon before he stares at you pointedly. The worry in his eyes is clear as days, and you really hate knowing you’re the reason behind it. “Just… don’t overdo yourself, alright?”

“I know my limit Won, I promise. I’ll probably just review some documents because I’m finally out of meetings,” you grin tiredly, hoping that it doesn’t look like you’re forcing it. “Speaking of, should we go to lunch on that day? It’s been some time since we went out for lunch.”

He winces slightly at the question, a gesture so subtle that you would’ve missed it if you hadn’t been staring at him. “I… Jennie’s in the country and Mom asked me to take her to lunch.”

“Oh.” There it is, the resigning tone you often use when her name is brought up. Wonwoo frowns at the way your gaze drops from him, suddenly eyeing your empty bowl like it’s the most interesting thing you can find. “Oh well, I can just eat with Chaeyoung or something.”

“I can just reschedule if you really want to go out,” he tries, cursing himself for not thinking about it sooner. You shake your head though, and then tell him to have fun with her.

“You did say I should rest,” you shrug.

“Princess…”

“It’s fine,” you softly tell him, a small smile that churns his heart on your face. “And I just remembered I promised Shua I’d drop by his studio too to help prepare his open class.”

He bites back a sigh at your faux nonchalance, not having it in him to ask what is it about Jennie that always gets you like this. He’s not dense enough to ask about it, not when he knows how you react everytime Jennie is the topic of a conversation. The least he could do was not ask, he’d spare himself the ‘nothing’s wrong’ answer and would rather figure it out on his own one day.

“Alright, call me if you’re up for dinner that day?” he offers.

You simply nod at him, your eyes refusing to meet his. Wonwoo can only hope Jennie’s schedules for the next two months are packed and he wouldn’t have to ‘take care’ of her as often as his mom would like him to.

a/n: so I did headcannon because I felt like it worked better, this was so cute omg

You always liked Fred more than other people.

You met on the train when you were trying to find a compartment.

“Wanna sit with us?” A young boy asked, his hair was fiery red and his smile was welcoming.

“Y-Yes.” you said and sat with him.

You met his brother George and you all clicked immediately.

Like literally you would not shut up the whole way there.

You watched them get sorted into Gryffindor and you hoped you would end up there.

Of course you got put into Slytherin.

You met new people, they were kind but you didn’t click with them like you did with Fred and George.

It was hard to see them after that because your different houses, you got worried that they forgot about you.

Until you sat down in potions class and almost immediately two ginger boys sat down at your table.

“We missed you!” They said unison.

After that the only thing that separated you were your houses and different class schedules.

You made time to hang out with them after class and planned study sessions in the library.

Of course that just turned into a paper airplane flying contest.

You started to sit at the Gryffindor table for meals, you refused at first because you were scared because of the house rivalry.

Everyone was welcoming.

Any one who wasn’t had was too afraid to say anything because Fred and George made a point to brag about being beaters on the Quidditch team.

Even going so far as bringing their bats to the first few meals you sat at.

In your second year they gave you the Marauders Map to use secret passage ways to get to the astronomy towers to hang out after curfew.

In your third year you used it to have sleepovers with them in the Gryffindor common room.

You helped them protect Ron, Harry and Hermione.

The trio were slow to warm up to you at first, only having interacted with Malfoy.

You were quick to teach them that Slytherin isn’t bad, having the character trait of ambition is what put a lot of the bad apples in there because they often put their goals above anything else which sometimes included being kind.

Once they did warm up to you they treated you like a big sister.

You loved it.

But you never admitted it.

Things changed in year four, every time Fred was around your hands would get sweaty and you would choke up.

You pushed the feelings down because you had been friends for so long at this point you didn’t want to ruin anything.

You got good and lying and acting cool around him.

Even when mentally you were screaming or your legs felt weak.

George noticed how you took longer to reply and started putting more effort into your appearance when it was just you three.

He didn’t say anything at first until your fifth year.

Your crush had taken over now, you felt butterflies when Fred would talk to you and thought about him when you fell asleep.

One day you zoned out staring at him in class when you felt a paper ball hit your head.

“Stop drooling over my brother” was written in George’s messy scrawl. Your face burned and you glared at him.

He never stopped teasing you either.

Not even when you put something in his drink to turn his hair green.

He did not give up, but had the decency to do it when Fred wasn’t around.

On your birthday Fred gave you a charm bracelet that had a snake and a lion on it.

You cried.

He started freaking out.

“I’m s-sorry, here I can take it back.” He tried to take it off your wrist but you wouldn’t let him, hugging him instead.

He froze and you got nervous.

He slowly hugged you back and your nerves calmed down and you felt at peace.

You stayed like that for awhile, just holding each other.

“I love it, thank you Freddie.” His cheeks got red but you assumed it was because of the nickname.

It wasn’t.

You wore the bracelet everywhere. Even slept in it.

You made sure to make it obvious to Fred, rolling up your sleeves or shaking your hand after you wrote something down so the charmes would clink together.

He adored you for it.

He started to get more touchy, just small things like putting his arm around your shoulders or grabbing you to get your attention.

It made you melt inside.

When sixth year rolled around and the Durmstrang boys were around he was extra touchy.

Holding your waist or interlacing your hands.

Every time this made you blush but you kept up your unfazed facade.

You knew why he was doing it.

You tried to act annoyed.

But failed miserably.

Attempting to scold him would cause you to stutter and grow more red.

Eventually you gave up trying.

You even found yourself reaching for his hand a few times.

“When will you two just date?” George groaned.

Your face heated up, as did Fred’s.

You both let go of each others hands.

“It’s a joke.” You breathed out.

“Yeah.” Fred said back.

George cringed watching you both put distance between each other and step away.

He was trying to help.

You found out about the Yule Ball and were ecstatic.

Until Fred asked Angelina.

You went with a guy from Slytherin.

He ditched you and ended up snogging a Ravenclaw the whole night.

You ran out of the ball crying.

You went to the astronomy tower hoping that it would make you feel better.

It didn’t.

It reminded you of the countless hours you spent up here with Fred.

George found you.

You confessed your feelings to him, told him about your date.

“I know.” He whispered back.

“I thought he liked me back.” You croaked.

“He does!” George would yell back. “I told him to ask you but he didn’t believe me when I told him you liked him back, thought I was pranking him!”

You laughed at him sadly.

“Guess it’s too late for that now.”

“It’s not.”

You didn’t believe him.

George spent the night with you in the astronomy tower, comforting you.

Fred saw you two together on the Marauder's map when he went back to his dorm.

He thought you and George were snogging.

In reality you were sobbing.

Fred avoided you after that.

He made a point to sit with Angelina and her friends instead of yours.

Eventually you found yourself back at the Slytherin table.

You avoided both of the twins, taking that as his rejection you tried to get over it.

You still hung out with George outside of classes, never saw Fred though.

One night you felt lonely and decided to go to the astronomy tower.

Fred was there.

You sat down next to him and looked at the stars.

“Why do you hate me?” You asked.

He looked at you with disbelief.

“Why did you chose my brother over me?”

It was your turn to look at him now. You mirrored his expression.

“What?!”

“I saw you two on the map up here the night of the ball, probably snogging, and you guys hang out all the time without me!” He exclaimed.

He started to get up to leave when you didn’t say anything.

“We weren’t snogging he was comforting me after I started crying because you took Angelina to the ball instead of me!” You yelled getting up.

He froze and turned around.

“What?!”

“You git you took Angelina to the ball and stopped talking to me, George hung out with me because I’m sad and you're too busy with your girlfriend.”

You were full on crying now.

He walked toward you, brushing your tears away.

“Your not dating George?”

“No! I wanted to be dating you.” You sniffled. Although you were upset his touch was comforting.

“I’m not dating Angelina.” He confessed.

You felt like you could fly.

“Then why take her?” You asked.

“Because I was afraid of asking you! I didn’t think you liked me.”

“George told you I did!” You exclaimed, you were laughing now and your tears had dried.

“I thought it was a prank.”

You brought your hand up to hold his cupping your cheek.

His eyes were flickering between yours and your mouth.

You nodded before he could even ask.

He pushed his lips against yours and you spilled every unspoken word to each other in that moment.

He pulled away and rested his forehead against yours.

“Y/N I think I’m in love with you.”

“I hope so Freddie, because I know I’m in love with you.”

You spent the rest of the night wrapped up in each other at the astronomy tower.

Walking into breakfast the next day you guys would hold hands.

“Finally!” George yelled. “Lee you owe me 2 galleons!”

You sat across from your friends and watched them exchange money.

Back at the Gryffindor table, back in Fred’s arms, you felt at home.

You would spend the next Christmas at the Burrow.

“I’m so glad to finally meet the girl my son talks about all the time.” Molly would say as she pulled you into a bone crushing hug.

Meeting the whole Weasley family would be met with an exclaim of ‘Finally!’ from everyone.

On Christmas Eve you and Fred sat in the living room alone in front of a fire.

Fred had one arm around you and the other was playing with your hair as you sat in his lap.

You were reading a muggle book your parents had got you, giggling to yourself every now and again.

“Oi, when did you too bloody get together.”

Ron was shocked to see you in his brothers lap, the girl he saw as an older sister and assumed Fred did too.

You and Fred would burst out laughing, having to use each other for support from falling.

“Keep your bloody secrets.” Ron would mutter running back up the stairs prompting you to laugh harder.

on december 25th, in the year 1997, you made your way into the world in the midst of the coldest night ontario had faced in months. your parents, evelyn and nathaniel duponte, had prayed and prayed for a baby girl for years. years and years and years of trying and trying and trying until eventually, they had given up. and it was only when they’d given up that you came to be.

as a child, you were nothing short of the brightest light in the house. your smile was enough to brighten even the darkest of hearts, your laughter sweeter than even the daintiest christmas bells. you were a dream child – that is, until they stole your light. and how did the do that, you ask ? well, this is truly where our story begins …

no one is entirely sure when the passion blossomed, but some rumor it to have started on your fourth birthday. your mother and father thought that a fun trip to an ice skating rink would make for a good present, and much to their surprise, you were a natural. it was as if you were born specifically for the ice. one step into the rink and off you went, able to hold yourself upright and balanced even at such a young age. a prodigy, they said. absolutely incredible, they praised. you left that evening with a new pair of skates and weekly lessons scheduled into your routine.

after two months of lessons, they went from weekly to three times a week. and then every day. before you really knew what was happening, you were spending every second of your life at the ice rink, honing in your skills. this talent that you possessed was going to get you far in life, your coach had said. what he didn’t seem to realize was the monster that it would awaken within your mother. it was gradual, at first. a slow trickle. one day she was more proud of you than any parent ever could, and then a week later she was subtly criticizing your technique. and then she was restricting you from going out with friends, saying that practice was far more important. and then she was pointing out every single flaw that you had, and harshly at that. pretty soon, the joy in your eyes winked out, the warmth in your chest icing over entirely. if a machine was what she wanted for a daughter, a machine was what she would get.

competitions came and went, gold medals were secured, and you were on a fast track to competing in the olympics. your once bright and bubbly personality had since faded into one of cold and cunning, of ice and harsh. you only ever smiled when you won. your mother was no longer the nurturing woman you remembered. your father allowed her to treat you like her own personal doll. you began to fold within yourself until you were nothing but a frozen front, a heart iced completely with no chance of thaw.

your first olympics were terrifying. but you persevered, and came home with the gold for your division. a landslide win, they’d called it. rookie sensation, they deemed you. the praise went right to your head, and the arrogance bloomed in your chest. you knew just how good you were, and didn’t let anyone tell you differently. four years later, you competed again, and yet another gold. a two time olympic champion, a national ranking – what more could you need ?

and then you saw the zillow ad for a nice house on a small island called kaos. for the first time in forever, something besides ice caught your attention. it was an impulse decision, and a quick move. she waited until both of her parents were out of the house to have all of her things collected, and just like that, she was gone. vanished. no word as to where she was going other than a note that read ‘see you whenever.’ it’s been six months since then, and she has no plans on leaving kaos anytime soon.

iii. wanted plots !!! im also super duper open to brainstorming things of our own ! these are just ideas !!!

1. the former best friend - this is someone that she spent a good majority of her time with before her mother limited interactions with people. they did everything together, whether it be watching a movie or trying to see how long they can get away with hiding in a grocery store after they close. it’s been nearly four years since they’ve spoken, and this might be one of the only people to bring a genuine reaction out of her.

2. the almost, the maybe, the “there’s something there” - they met recently. or maybe they met awhile ago. could work either way. this person was almost successful in attempting to worm their way into her heart. almost, however, is the key word in that statement. having gone so long without genuine human interaction outside of her sport, she hadn’t realized just how much she had longed for a friend. and then, she suddenly liked them as more then a friend, and that was when ella cut off everything. she’ll never admit it, but the idea of building a connection with someone terrified her.

3. the rival - oh, these two do not like each other. the why is something that can be discussed, but just know that there was some sort of altercation that led to the level of dislike between the two of them. could it possibly change ?? maybe so. i’d actually like to see how that pans out. however, as of right now, the most they do is snipe at one another mercilessly

1. You and Tom and Kevin are joining Bonham in the Game Grumps studio for filming of the 10 minute power hour. They have the schedule set so that you each are guests individually except Tom because he doesn’t like it. You all watch the recording when each other is serving as a guest, and when it’s Bonham’s turn they are doing each other’s makeup. At one point she is working on Danny and says, “Your fucking hair is in the way, hang on.” She holds his hair back like a headband, and sits on his lap to get a better view. None of them are making a big deal out of it, but Kevin is visibly fuming in the seat next to you. He says to you, “Can I please tell her to get off of him? I don’t like how this looks.” Arin says to him past the camera, “Dude she’s putting children’s makeup on him for a shitty YouTube show, you can’t honestly be jealous right now.” How does Kevin respond, and what do you, Tom, Danny and Bonham say?

Kevin: Of course I am. Have you seen how beautiful his hair is?!

Danny: Why thank you, Kevin. I use coconut oil and special shampoo.

He flips his hair which messes up Bons.

Bons: Knock it off, Danny. I gotta do this.

Tom: (under his breath) This is so stupid.

I pat his thigh.

Me: Just let us enjoy the stupidity, Tommy.

2. You and Bonham and Tom and Nikki are standing offstage at a Quiet Riot show, and you’re all loving it. At one point Nikki says to Bonham, “I dare you to go out there right now.” “What no, are you insane? I’m not interrupting a show.” Tom looks at you and says, “Watch this.” then turns to Bonham, pushes her out onto the stage and says, “Yes you are!” She stumbles out onstage and instinctively freezes. Kevin is jumping around and sees her, and he shouts into the mic, “There she is! Look at my girlfriend! Kiss me you scandalous bitch!” What happens and what do you, Tom, and Nikki say?

She is still frozen. I go out and go to pull her back in and Kevin goes, “Look! My best gal pal too. Hey Tom! Get out here! Kiss your girlfriend!” Nikki Pushes Tom out and we’re all kind of standing there. I peck Tom on the lips and then pull Bons backstage again. Kevin screams, “Ladies and Gentlemen, my wonderful girlfriend and Mr. and Mrs. Keifer.” I glare at Tom after we get backstage again and go, “You’re a fucking asshole” before taking Bons to a chair so she can calm down because it looks like she’s going to faint.

Tom(following after me): come on, honey! You know I meant nothing by it.

Nikki has been cackling since Tom pushed Bons onstage.

3. You’re returning from a hot date with your college boyfriend when you see Bonham scurrying back to your dorm with a trash bag full of instant coffee packets, but they’re all empty. You ask what she’s doing and she says, “All will be revealed in due time.” Later that night, there’s an angry knock on your door. Bonham answers calmly and says, “Hey Vince, what’s up?” He pushes her squarely in the chest, and she topples over. He stands over top of her and says, “Don't play dumb with me you fucking bitch! What did you do to my room?” She says, “You mean why are there nine hundred instant coffee packets spilled in everything you own? It can’t possibly be because you stole all my underwear, so in that case I’m stumped.” Her sarcasm is just pissing him off. How do you react to hearing what she did, and what does Vince say about the situation? What does his roommate Tommy say when he gets back?

I’m giggling and Vince glares at me. “You know I could just tell the RA your boyfriend is in your room when he shouldn’t be.” He glares at Bons, “You’re helping me clean it up.” Tommy thinks it’s funny because none of his stuff was touched.

4. AVERT YOUR EYES KIDDOS AND STAFF YA FUCKIN SQUARES

You’re sitting with Tom on your couch one day and after a while you both get bored so you start kissing. Things are getting pretty intense, and finally Tom tells you, “Touch yourself.” “What?” you say. “Don’t play coy. Touch yourself. I want to watch.” How do you respond, and what does Tom do?

Me: Uhh, no way. You know I don’t even normally do that when you’re not here and you know it makes me uncomfortable.

He pulls me in for a kiss.

Tom: Then I guess both of us’ll have fun instead.

5. You’ve been with Tom for a couple of months now, and Bonham’s been helping Kevin out. He’s been out of rehab for a couple of weeks, and the four of you are hanging out for the first time. It’s been a tough week and you’re all tired, so you end up dozing off. At one point you hear Kevin make an uncomfortable noise and Tom says, “What’s the matter DuBrow?” He makes the same noise again and says, “Nothing I’m……fine…” You open your eyes a little bit and see that Bonham fell asleep across his lap, and she’s got her chest directly on his lap. You soon put two and two together and figure out why he’s uncomfortable. They don’t know you’re awake yet. Do you say anything? What does Tom say? Does Kevin move Bonham?

I don’t say anything but I get up to get something to drink and Tom says, “You’re in a real predicament there aren’t you, DuBrow?” Kevin doesn’t move her. He just sits there until she wakes up.

6. AVERT YOUR EYES STAFF kids idc so much this one ain’t so bad

Your band and Cinderella are getting ready to film a video together. Kevin is there too. At one point, Tom accidentally runs into a secretary and just says, “Sorry.” Kevin says to Bonham, “That Tom guy is so stoic I don’t know how he and BabyCarrot are going to have a kid.” Bonham says, “Oh what ever, he’s just as much of a sex fiend as you, he can just hide it.” “No way, I’ll bet you fifty bucks that he’s a complete prude.” Kevin says. “You’re on,” Bonham says. “And I got just the way to prove it.” (you are unaware of this whole conversation, this is just for context). Bonham comes up to you and Kevin is off to the side. She’s trying to open one of those squeezy water bottles. “I can’t get this open, can you? Maybe Tom can. Hey Tom! C’mere!” He walks over and says, “What?” “We can’t get this open, can you–ooooooooooopsss…” Bonham grabs the bottle from you and says an exaggerated ‘oops’ and squeezes the bottle super hard, soaking your shirt. You were getting ready so you don’t have a bra on. “What the hell!” you say. “Oh no, now you’re soaking wet!” Bonham says exaggeratedly, “I’d better get a towel!” she walks off, and when she comes back and hands it to you, she says to Tom, “Help your wife clean up!” and thrusts the towel at him. He starts to dry you off and then when it’s time for you to change your shirt he says, “I’ll uh…be right back.” “What was that all about?” you ask Bonham. She says, “Oh nothing, I’m just clumsy but Tom seemed REALLY HOT AND BOTHERED ABOUT THAT.” She shouts the last part over her shoulder and you see Kevin fume before coming over. “Alright you win.” He says. How do you respond? Who explains what’s going on? WHo are you more mad at?

Me: What do you mean? What’s going on?

Kevin: Bons bet me that Tom was as much of a sex fiend as I am and I told her she was wrong so she had to prove me wrong.

I smirk at them, “Of course he is. Where do you think the two of us were earlier for a half hour?”

Kevin’s mouth is hanging open after i grab Bons arm and pull her away for sound check.

7. You and Bonham and Kevin and Tom are visiting a community college to do a talk with the students. You’re walking down the science hall when a terrible droning buzz comes over the intercom. “ATTENTION ATTENTION. THIS IS A LOCKDOWN. PLEASE SEEK SAFETY. LOCK YOUR DOORS AND TURN OFF YOUR LIGHTS. A POLICE OFFICER WILL RELEASE YOU WHEN IT IS SAFE TO COME OUT. ATTENTION ATTENTION…” this continues on a loop. Your tour guide, the dean of students, pulls you four into a science supply closet and locks the door. THe announcement hasn’t said whether or not this is a drill, so you’re all a bit confused. You’re all sitting in the closet, the only light coming from the eerie green exit sign. Bonham and Kevin are sitting on the floor, you’re sitting on the counter, and Tom is pacing around. After fifteen minutes, Tom turns to the dean and says, “So when’s this drill up? We’ve got shit to do.” Just as he’s finished talking, you hear a pop come from the hallway. The dean just looks at him and says, “If this was a drill the announcement would have said so. Someone’s in here.” More pops sound. Bonham kinda squeaks and grabs Kevin’s hand. Tom really quickly yanks you off the counter and puts his arm around you. How do the four of you respond to what the dean said? How long does it last? What happens when you come out?

Tom: Seriously?!

Kevin: You should have better security.

I’m hyperventilating and trying to keep myself calm and I go over and hug Bons.

We all just sit there and wait for like an eternity which was actually only 20 minutes when it’s over and we can come out, we find out they caught the crazy guy and no one was killed, thank god.

8. You and Bonham and Kevin and Tom are getting ready to go out to a fancy restaurant for dinner. You and Tom are ready to go but you hear Bonham tell Kevin, “No, you are not wearing that.” “Why not? It’s fine.” “Kevin I love you but your fashion sense is the worst thing I have ever seen.” How does Kevin respond? What do you and Tom say when they finally come down?

Kevin: No, it is not!

Kevin comes down in that god awful pink suit.

I stare at him and go, “No, you’re not wearing that. I thought I burned that thing.”

Kevin: I have multiples.

Bons: He refuses to change.

Me: Well we’re changing that.

We both take him upstairs and he changes.

Tom: God, you’re burning my eyes in that thing. Why do you even have it? It’s atrocious.

9. You and Tom are in the studio one day when you get a call from a cop. “Is this A. M. Keifer and/or C. T. Keifer?” “Yes, why?” you say. “I’m on the scene of a car wreck and one of the victims has you as her emergency contact. We’re at 45th and Youngsfield. You might want to get down here.” He hangs up before you can say anything. You and Tom go down there and you see Kevin before you see the cop, but you’re more confused by the wreck. Kevin’s car is there and the front end is smashed, but the twisted pile of metal on the other side of the intersection is harder to recognize. THe driver’s side is smashed in, but it looks like Bonham’s car. You ask Kevin what happened and he’s a bit hysterical. Through his ravings, Kevin tells you that he was planning on meeting her at a new restaurant, and she was turning and he ran a red light and hit the driver’s side of her car head-on. He’s fine except for a couple of scrapes and bruises, but the EMTs are loading Bonham into the ambulance as you speak. The cop who called you earlier is walking up just as Kevin is telling you all this. How do you and Tom respond? What does the cop say? What happens next?

Me: Kevin, you fucking idiot!

I hit him with my fists and Tom grabs my arms.

Tom: Whoa, whoa, whoa, there tiger, calm down.

I go with Bons in the ambulance and she’s fine but we have to postpone our upcoming concert because she broke her leg again.

10. Your band and QR are hanging out one night and drinking when the subject of death comes up. Everyone is slowly speculating how everyone will die, and Bonham suddenly says, “I know exactly how I’m going to die, I’m going to shoot myself with a smile on my face. I’ll make sure my friends are happy and then I’ll take myself out cause God knows that no one is going to help me.” That’s dark. How do you, Rudy, Kevin, Carlos, Frankie, Erik, Linus, and Sean respond?

I burst into tears and go, “Please don’t please.”

Kevin hugs me and goes, “We’d miss you Bons. Please don’t do that.”

Rudy pulls her into a tight hug and Linus and Erik join it.

Frankie is sleeping because he’s too drunk and its late.

Carlos: Whoa, heavy man.

Sean was in the bathroom and comes back, “...what did I miss?”

11. AVERT YOUR EYES STAFF

You and Tom and Bonham and Kevin are hanging out for the first time since he’s gotten out of rehab. At one point you’re all playing cards, and Bonham steps out to get drinks. She puts beers in front of you and Tom, and as she’s placing Kevin’s drink in front of him, she rests her chest on his shoulder and whispers something about strategy into his ear. She says more loudly, “But that’s just me.” As she sits down, Tom nudges you and points to Kevin. You look up and you see that he’s flushed beet red and is fidgeting in his seat, meanwhile Bonham’s got a smug look on her face. What does Kevin say? How do you and Tom react to what just happened? Does Bonham say anything?

Kevin: I...uh...I’ll...be right back.

He gets up and makes a beeline for the bathroom.

We both look at each other but don’t say anything.

Bons just has a smirk on her face.

1) Your singer is pregnant with her and Tom’s first kid and Tom is halfway across the country performing when she goes into labor. You and Kevin take her to the hospital and Kevin is going to her once they get her in the room, “Just breath.” She glares at him and screams, “That’s easy for you to say! I don’t see a kid coming out of your vagina!” How do you and Kevin respond?

2) Your sitting in the front row of a QR concert with your singer and Tom. Kevin is leaning over the stage and singing and Tom goes, “Eww, something wet just dropped on me.” Your singer looks up and goes, “Oh yeah, that’s just Kevin. Slobbering as usual.” How do you and Tom respond?

3) Your singer was given four free tickets to a Stryper concert. She takes you, Kevin, and Tom with her. At the beginning of the concert, you see the band tossing something out. One lands in front of your singer and your singer picks it up, “First concert I’ve ever been to where they throw Bibles into the audience.” Tom looks behind you and goes, “And people stampede to get them. Look out.” A horde of people are coming towards the four of you at the front. What do you, your singer, and Kevin say and what do you guys do?

4) Before Kevin goes to Rehab, you, Rudy, Carlos, Tom, and your singer are drinking and having a good time. Kevin has had a couple beers and is drunk. Your singer gets up to get something and Kevin follows. Soon you hear your singer screaming, “Kevin, get off me! Help get him off me!” The four of your run out in the kitchen to see Kevin has her backed into the corner of the counter and the next thing you know he slaps her hard across the face. You have no time to process this before Tom has him on the ground and is wailing on him. “Don’t you ever hit my girlfriend again! Understand!” What does Kevin do and how do you, your singer, Rudy, and Carlos respond?

5) You, your band, and Tom are working on an album when some guy who’s been stalking your bad gets past the recording studios security and comes into the building. He’s begging you guys for autographs, he’s brandishing a gun and saying, “If you don’t give me what I want I’m going to shoot you.” Your singer goes, “You want something buddy? How about a knuckle sandwich.” Before she punches him in the face and disarms him. Once the security come to take him, Sean goes, “You’re 78.3% badass.” Your singer looks at him and goes, “How can someone be 78.3% badass?” How does Sean respond and what do you, Tom, Erik, and Linus say?

2018 was a year of ups and downs for me. In January I went back to college at Benedictine College to work towards my bachelors in sociology. I was working full-time at night and attending school full-time during the day. Exhausted doesn’t begin to describe it.

As busy as it was, I felt such a great sense of accomplishment everyday as I worked towards such a difficult goal. I enjoyed the classes I was taking and the challenge excited me. Then everything changed. Cancer took that all from me. The excitement, the motivation, the incredible sense of accomplishment. With three words, that all was gone.

When I was no longer able to work or go to school, I lost my sense of purpose. I laid in bed for days and weeks feeling in credibly sorry for myself. I began to give up on myself, and to give up in life in general. During this time I was talking to a friend of mine about my younger sister who had recently moved to Arizona. I was talking about how proud I was of her for moving so far away to chase a dream. It was while we were talking that my friend suggested that maybe I should take a trip to visit her. My initial response was are you kidding? I can’t even get out of bed, let alone make a trip halfway across the country. But my friend told me that it would be good for me, to get away and see something new.

Suddenly I had a goal to work towards. I began pushing myself to get out of bed, even if just to walk around the house and get my own meals. In the beginning it was incredibly hard. I was extremely weak and couldn’t walk without a walker. But I kept pushing. Soon I graduated to using a cane, and finally I was able to walk short distances unassisted. I was so proud of myself. It’s amazing how much you take for granted in life until it’s gone.

In late November I had a hysterectomy to stop my body from producing the hormones that were feeding the tumor in my breast. While this surgery was incredibly necessary, I was a little sad because I figured my recovery would set my trip plans behind but I had a goal. I decided I wasn’t going to let something as minor as surgery stop me.

I pushed myself more and more each day. I became more active. I started driving again. Surprisingly enough, the more active I became, the pain that had become a part of my life began to fade. During my worst days I had been taking as many as 24 Percocets a day without relief. Suddenly I realized I was down to as few as four during a 24 hour period. Slowly I was taking back control of my life. Cancer wasn’t winning the war anymore. I was. The sense of pride I felt couldn’t compare to anything I had ever done before. I felt as though I had just won the Boston Marathon.

I had an appointment with my oncologist scheduled for December 10th. My goal had been to leave for Arizona the Wednesday following if my doctor felt I was healthy enough to go. He was so pleased to see the progress I had made since my first appointment when my pain was so bad that reduced to using a wheelchair because I was unable to walk. Now I was walking again and had actually driven myself so my husband didn’t need to miss a day of work. Much to my delight, my doctor told me he thought the trip would be great medicine for me.

Having received my oncologist’s blessing, I began to make the final arrangements to take the bucket list trip of a lifetime. I had considered flying into Phoenix to shorten my trip, but after much deliberation I decided that driving would offer me the opportunity to see more of the world and with no real time table in my head I planned to take my time and see what there was to see.

As I left Atchison on December 12 I began to have second thoughts. Would I be able to make such a long drive after being bedridden for so long and having only been getting up and around for such a short time? Would my back hold up to the strain of the trip? I was facing a 21 hour drive, the longest drive I had ever made in myself. I almost changed my mind many times as I set out for Arizona, but I kept telling myself I can do this.

The further along on my trip, the better I felt. For the first time in months, the weight of my stress and anxiety began to evaporate. With each mile I drove, a happiness and calm settled over me. Normally when I am driving I become so focused on the road that I miss everything around me. For the first time, I opened my eyes to everything around me taking in each little detail seeing the world with a childlike wonder.

I had my first daughter two days before 19th birthday. I had spent my entire adult life caring for my children and had never really had the opportunity to travel. While my peers were traveling to Europe and going to college, I was changing diapers and burping babies. I had never really made it outside of the midwest and this was one of the few times I had ever taken a vacation that didn’t involve a soccer tournament. Normally those trips were rushed and there was very little time to relax and enjoy the sights around me.

The further I got from home, the more I saw all of the beauty in the world. As the miles passed, I began to believe in myself and for the first time I believed that cancer wasn’t going to beat me. I was going to fight with everything I had in me and I was going to live whatever life I had left no matter how long or short as though each day was my last. I decided that I refused to die with regrets.

When I reached the mountains of Arizona and my sister’s home, I was overwhelmed with everything I had seen. I was excited to see my sister, her husband, my adorable niece and my favorite floofer (code word for dog). I spent four days relaxing in the warm Arizona air, far from the cold of Kansas. The days with my sister were lazy and simple and incredibly calming. My mind was clear and free of worry over my future. I took each day as they came without thinking about whether cancer would beat me.

As my days with my sister came to a close I made the decision to head further west since I was only four hours from the sandy beaches of San Diego. I was amazed as each mile passed and I drove through the mountains and palm trees. I was amazed by the mild weather and when I reached San Diego I fell in love with the sights all around me. I walked through the beautiful winter wonderland of Balboa Park at night, and dipped my toes in the ocean during the day. I enjoyed the tastes of authentic Mexican and Italian food, and let my mind clear from any of the negative thoughts that had held me hostage since my diagnosis.

As I returned home I had a new goal. My journey had given me a new purpose. My passion for nursing was still there and I realized just how much I missed taking care of and spending time with my patients. But I also realized that my time might be short and I wanted to experience as much as I could for whatever time I might have left. The more I thought about this, the more my mind wandered back to an idea I had a few years earlier. I wanted to move on from my staff hospital position and become a travel nurse. I realized that travel nursing would offer me the opportunity to combine my love of nursing with the ability to travel and see all that the country has to offer.

I celebrated New Years Eve by mailing my applications to Arizona and California to obtain my nursing licenses. In the weeks following I began discussing opportunities with recruiters, and began the initial process to build my file for submission to future employers.

As excited as I was, a cloud of fear hovered over me. Would my body be strong enough to return to work? When I had my appointment with my oncologist on January 10th, as terrified as I was to hear the answer I asked my doctor if my career was over. He looked at me and told me he didn’t see why. In one moment all my fears evaporated. I will be able to return to the work I love so much. Cancer didn’t take nursing from me.

2018 brought a lot of pain and fear as I was forced to accept my new reality. 2019 is going to be a year of adventure and discovery for me. Some days I am angry for all of the changes that have come to my life since I heard those terrible words ‘you have cancer.’ There are still days that I want to cry when I think about possibly not being here to watch my nieces and grandchildren grow up.

Even with all of the sadness and uncertainty cancer has brought to my life, some days I am thankful for the things I have gained. I have realized how very precious life is and how important it is to appreciate the gift of each day. I live more fully, I love more deeply, and I appreciate each moment I have. I’m living with cancer, not dying from it. I’m LIVING. Each minute of every day.

My Weekly Thoughts

Yes, Javi did admit he not only came over unannounced and uninvited, he Hopped The Fence!! And when he came in, he said there were shoes and clothes everywhere and he asked Kail what had happened, why tf is the house so messy? Um, none of your fucking business! He doesn’t live there; it Would be scary to come out of the bathroom and there’s your hulking ex-husband ranting about the mess. Kail didn’t say Isaac said he was scared, Jo did. Because Kail called the police, since Javi refused to leave, and then called Jo to come get Isaac. Jo said Isaac said it scared him and he didn’t like that. I thought Vee downplayed it but she’d feel differently if it were her home and her child scared. That was when Kail asked Jo to tell Javi because of all this he couldn’t be alone with Isaac anymore, for now. Jo literally said, ok..goddammit. Lol. Javi laughingly told his friends about hopping the fence. That’s psycho stalker behavior and it’s not ok. The cops asked if Kail had anything in writing saying he couldn’t be there, since it technically was still his house, she didn’t, and there wasn’t anything they could do. But the fact that Javi stayed on and ranted and made her call the cops before he would leave is crazy. And him saying shit about how the house looks is yet another example of his compulsive, controlling behavior. You would think Kail learned her lesson about getting pregnant by someone you really don’t know that well. Idc if they were married, they still met, married and conceived in a very short period of time. It takes years to really know if you’re going to work. At least date two years. Chelsea, so far, has just been lucky in that with Cole. At least she waited 6 months to introduce Aubree; Kail had Isaac saying I love you to Javi within 6 months. Kail also said on the aftershow that she was sick as a dog for the first 12 weeks of her pregnancy and wasn’t at all with either boy, so maybe it is a girl. And maybe she’s already showing how different that will be :)

Jace came into Jenelle’s house, sat down and immediately picked up the Xbox controller and started playing. I think he looks at her place as the ‘fun’ place (most of the time), where he’s largely left alone and allowed to do whatever he wants. Sharing custody with my nieces’ and nephew’s paternal aunt has taught me about that one. They act completely different, by all accounts, at either home. She’s always frazzled, yelling, has no control. She lets them run wild and talk back and regularly feeds them cereal for supper. At our house, while they are allowed freedom outside, since we live in the country, they have rules. They have to eat a good meal or they don’t get a snack. If they don’t eat their veggies etc, they get a banana, apple or whatever instead of ice cream or cookies for snack. I don’t argue with them. I tell them what to do and they do it. If they start to talk back they get time out or some consequence. And they are so much easier to deal with. Because the rules are clear, they know what to expect, and they know I don’t play. This makes them torn. On the one hand, they enjoy the freedom they have at her house to skip a bath, eat cereal, talk back. On the other, they thrive on a schedule and knowing what’s coming. They’re so much calmer that way and I keep trying to tell her, don’t get down to their level. If they tell you to shut up, you don’t scream, no You shut up! You calmly tell them they don’t speak to adults that way and to go to their room. It works so much better but she keeps doing it her way and keeps texting me all the time all upset. It’s frustrating. I just hope having them Fri-Sun will be enough to instill good hygiene and eating habits etc, to make a difference. They Love corn and green beans! And they’re like .50 a can at Walmart, how freaking hard is it to warm up a can of corn to go with supper? Ok, I'ma stop now. :) Ohhhh, but Jace’s face during that whole conversation :( You could just tell he was thinking, this is my fault, it’s about me. Esp with Jenelle screaming she only gets stressed out over her mom and Jace. Good job Juhnelle. If that text from Nathan about moving to England and signing over his rights is real, OMG. This is from last week, but someone mentioned Leah’s grandma saying have Germy sign over Addie and do it alone. I couldn’t believe she was telling Leah that. I get it’s frustrating for him to change times, but it’s not grounds to keep Addie away from him and her have no father. I was glad Leah didn’t even consider it. Her mom and grandma are crazy. Leah seems to realize that now and she is doing so much better as a mom and in thinking for herself. She must’ve decided on college instead of cosmetology because of the schedule, mostly. It would’ve required Saturday hours and her missing time with the girls. In any case, it’s awesome she’s staying un-pregnant and starting college. I hope she sees it thru and continues on this path. My only criticism would be that she needs to stop discussing Ali’s life span in front of Ali. Ali doesn’t need to know right now that she may not live to get married and go to college. Kids come up with enough to worry about on their own. She might interpret it as, omg, I could die any day!

Between my children and I it's an unspoken agreement.

Its not about who or where you came from -- its about where you're going

I expect my children to be kind and generous not only to other people But also to include themselves as i would, as I cannot.

They are in their lives, i am not so they must take care of themselves first, any excess is to be given away.

It is their decision as to what is excess. Do they want a small house or a palace?

A palace? They will not have excess cash but excess excitement and passions to expand while they wait.

A small house? They will have excess calmness and cash sooner.

All the excess is needed by somebody in the world and it's their choice as to when where and how to share it.

Should they wait to keep that excess willingness to expand and excitement until they meet the right person to share it with -- even after the palace is built -- that's fine.

There are no rules to as when and where but that they must and they keep that in their back bones.

Their skull and ribs know they must live each snd every day to the fullest. However it is.

May be depressed and angry or sad and morbid. But they must live and be themselves 100% and no one else.

Because if i ever meet my child, i want to meet ny child 100%

Even if it is my child's situations and problems i meet first. Its still my child beneath them. That's what I want to pull out of the rubble of Earth. My child.

So I've promoted soulmates knowing i have children out in the world i don't know.

Because they have a life they deserve to live, love snd be happy and safe in.

I would love to meet them and share myself in their life.

But they must have a life. They must be successfully happy above most and all else.

Happy. That's all i care about.

Happiness blankets safety and financial well being, happy friends and less problems they worry about in the world. So much is included in happiness.

So that is why i chose that word to dictate what i expect and what i must do in the world.

I have 37 children living in South America. If one says "but mom i worry about the people in my country and it makes me unhappy the way the government is"

Then I as the World's Queen do have the power to change that and so i must for my child's happiness.

If they're unhappy, I am, too.

So the unspoken rule is not to worry about mom. Run the world over, crush it, spit on it, throw it up and let me know it made you happy.

That's all.

Its their job to find the love of their life -- to find the greatest sex that did or should had created them -- which can only happen with Some one they truly love and can truly care about them.

So I see them and I think they must know the feeling that created them. The passion. Adoration. Absolute best feeling in the body parts that exist and were used to create them.

And whatever it takes to get them safe enough to feel it proper.

I know some are thinking about Saint Luches and my daughter. I allowed 20% unloyalty towards me.
