A reverberated trill clicked in the center of his chest which soon rose to gurgle at the back of his throat. “Real monsters aren’t identified by sight alone, True Soul,” he hissed in a hushed, breathy tone. He raised the moon lantern to better illuminate the ranger before taking several shallow steps closer to her. His large frame lowered so he could make eye contact with her, his gaze intense and unwavering. “We will do monstrous things if it is our Majesty’s will. She has chosen us, what we are means nothing compared to that.”

As far as my experience, Tighnari more or less formally diagnosed me. I would recommend a healthy amount of research, and a formal diagnosis if it's possible in your situation.
