1 - What inspired you to create your oc?
14 - Did you give your oc a love interest? Is it another oc or a canon character? Why?
18 - Imagine meeting your oc. What would you want to say to them or do with them?
19 - How might your oc react to finding out you are the one responsible for their life?
20 - Share a random piece of trivia about the creation of your oc. Examples: scrapped ideas or changes you didn't expect to make.
9 - In a group dynamic, what kind of role does the oc usually fill? Are they a worry wart? A troublemaker? The straight man?
Yeah you say you like answering questions, hope 6 isn't a greedy amount. Anyways-
-That one Gess person. Yep.
1): For my OC’s they’re created because my brain doesn’t know when to shut the fuck up :) Seriously I just love creating OC’s and seeing other people create such unique designs for theirs inspires me even more to make my own. And then Pinterest does the finishing blow to my motivation and there I go again creating a new OC for my collection :D
2). I do have Two OC’s with a possible love interest for both. I can only talk about one of them as the other is a secret for a future comic I’m doing :3c The one I CAN talk about is Hoku! I don’t know their preference because I mainly focused on important aspects of their life (I don’t include romance, it can be lived without-) but I’m not even sure what personality would go well with their workaholic, business, smart personality. I might just have them be the cool rich aunt, I just can’t see them with anyone romantically <:D
3) Okay so again I’ll do all of them that I’ve shown here on tumbly:
For patchwork I would love to braid their hair, play games with them (hide and seek specifically), do arts and crafts (the bois can join too IG) and most importantly teach them the art of valuing yourself-
For Maggie I would love to see her perform her awesome magic tricks and teach me how to skate in her wheelies!! <3 (maybe teach me a bit of Morse code and sign language)
For The Void I’d run the fuck away, but if I can’t do that IG I’ll talk to them and ask “hey why the fuck you gotta go all out during sad boi hours” and pet their lil blobs, which are in fact the sins on your back-
For Hoku I’d like for them to take me to the fanciest places they know to eat (for the experience) and go shopping because they rich af, also ask them to teach me Japanese huehue <3c (wait since they’re rich have them take me to Japan for like a year plsplsplsplsplspslsplspls)
4). okay I answered this already but I’ll put in a new one hmmmm, I think I’ll include gess since they are technically an OC, they would probably have those same beeg ol eyes and in the background just have war noises playing. Then they’ll swallow me whole and think “Now no one can stop me from committing war crimes.” OH MY GOD I JUST REMEMEBRED MY GORL KATHY, Y’ALL HAVE NOT SEEN THEM BUT ME AND DARLING MA VEX CREATED THEM AND AKWNDOXNOE OK OK, Not much of their story has been fleshed out, I’ve just done their past, their future is determined by a role play- BUT! They would most likely be upseghtii spaghetti that I gave them so many bullies and gave them self worth issues HNNGGG I PROMY BB GORL YOU HAVE A HAPPY ENDING SKSKSKE
5). OOOO FUN OKAY SO:
Patchwork: Their first design was too plain so I made it not plain, I’ll post a full ref sheet for it once I got the colors sorted out. They also had a similar trauma to Valentines Angel OC but I didn’t like that they were similar because I didn’t want to feel like I copied them so that’s scrapped and now they have a new set of problems!! :DD
Maggie: They originally were supposed to be a part of the mega pizza plex creations, like monty and Roxy but that was changed to them being made in a different location (<— That’s your hint on where they were created)
The Void: They we’re meant to be another Art sona next to gess for artfight since I saw bam and Vu had made their own but with how it was going I decided to add some more spooky elements to them and they became a representation of bad thoughts :D
Hoku: There were SOOOO many changes to them, at first I wanted them to have a love interest because of how they first were (more golden retriever vibes and oblivious nature), but then I changed their personality (more serious and occupied with work to help her dad with money) and I kept changing how their mom died (I ended with them dying while giving birth), then I kept figuring out which schools they would go to and where they’d live. All in the span of 7 hours texting my friend who was also developing their OC and it was 12 AM to 7 AM :D (no sleep was gained that night)
6). Alright so (I hope I did this right),
Patchwork: Supportive friend who says what’s on their mind however they do not value themselves as a person and see themselves rather of being more useful TO others than themselves.
Maggie: Smiles in the daytime/work hours but a complete mess behind closed doors. Doesn’t trust themselves due to fear.
The Void: Makes your life miserable, knows this, and purposefully does it-but much worse :)
Hoku: Workaholic, caring, oblivious to free time and fun, fast food is their diet (eat fast while working), and the smart friend of the group even when drunk and the others are sober.

Running An Art Shop With Minimal Crying 101
Hey y’all, not sure what compelled me to write this Now but I wanted to put together a list of helpful ‘good business practice’ tips for artists who want to start selling commissions on FR and want to build up a good reputation and make bank. I’m not sure if I’d feel comfortable throwing this on the forums personally so here you go, y’all have to look at my stupidly long possibly helpful brutally honest post cuz I don’t know where else to put this.
I’ve been doing art on FR since I was a young teenager in 2015 and through that time I’ve definitely learned some lessons the hard way. I’ve taken on more than I could handle, I’ve let commissions rot for months because I got overwhelmed… you know what I mean. Here’s some of what I’ve learned over the years that’s helped me run a consistently successful art shop for well over a year now.
I don’t have a tumblr and I don’t know how to add a ‘read more’ to a submission, so happy scrolling <3 I apologize for causing some people a very minor inconvenience
-Do not take prepayment for either more than three commissions at a time, or more than the number of commissions you think you can finish within a month or two, whichever is smaller. This is especially true if you’re like me and you have ADHD. Trust me, the more commissions people have already paid for you have piled up in your to-do list, even if they’d only take you 20 minutes each, you will get more overwhelmed and discouraged and people will wonder why it’s taking you so long. Even if you aren’t getting concerned PMs, a lot of people are just too anxious or polite to ask for updates. (On the flipside, if you commissioned someone and haven’t gotten any word/updates in a while, you’re not in the wrong to ask how things are going and when you can expect an update.)
-Full payment upfront is something I definitely recommend for smaller pieces (headshots, sketches, etc) you can finish in one sitting. However- if you’re doing a ref sheet, a rendered fullbody, etc, and you’ll be spending multiple sessions on the piece and getting feedback for it multiple times- split it up, take half upfront and half either after the sketch is approved, or before you send them the final unwatermarked version. I’ve done dozens of commissions like this and never had a problem, personally. There’s a low chance of a customer backing out on you if you’ve already started and sent WIPs because, y’know, sunk cost, and on the other hand it is reassuring to customers (especially if your shop is new) that if you drop off the map, they paid $20 upfront and got at least a sketch, instead of paying $40 upfront for an unfinished piece.
-In the same vein: if you’re doing a large piece like a rendered fullbody, ref sheet, etc, more communication is always better than less! I always stay on the safe side here. Some people will tell you they just want you to go apeshit and do whatever you think will look cool, other people might have much more specific ideas of what they want and how closely your artwork needs to match the image of their character in their head. Send them the sketch and ask them if they want any changes. Send them the lineart and ask if it looks good. If you’re working on a time-consuming painting that will take you weeks to finish, please please please, communicate! Send updates! Your customers will feel a lot less anxious about how long you’re taking if you keep them posted (plus this is just a personal thing but I love seeing peoples’ artistic process, it sparks joy!!)
-If, once again, you’re like me and stuff like painted fullbodies take you so much longer than other commission types- the worst thing you can do is underprice. Let’s say a detailed, shaded dragon fullbody takes you, for instance, 8 hours, maybe longer because you get burned out and can’t finish it in just one sitting, but you don’t think people will buy an $80/8kg fullbody. Do not lower the price you think your art is worth. If fullbodies take you really long compared to other art, or you get unmotivated, just… don’t offer painted fullbodies, or scenes with multiple characters, or whatever. If there’s a form of art you’re capable of creating but it’s faster, more fun, and gets you more money to do smaller things, just do more smaller commissions instead of taking the big ones. This one was a lifesaver for me.
-Once again in the same vein: It is okay to say no. Just because you are physically/artistically capable of drawing a detailed scene of multiple dragons with complex apparel, doesn’t mean you won’t get burnt out or bored. For me, larger pieces take exponentially longer because I just get bored and don’t want to work on them anymore. If someone asks if you can draw something that will require so much of your personal time and effort to go into a single piece, just say no. Sometimes I’ll say yes to some big commissions because I think the character is cool and inspiring and I want to draw them; otherwise, I will admit, I’ve said no to big commissions because I personally found the character boring as hell (though I wouldn’t phrase it that way). And that’s ok!
-If you are going to be really busy in the near future, stop taking commissions. You have finals? Don’t say “sorry if things take forever, I have finals”… just don’t take the commissions while you’re busy. If you have too much on your plate, commissions will just stress you out more, and nobody likes to draw motivated by stress. There’s nothing wrong with temporarily pausing your art shop. Put your mental health first. And if you aren’t able to get commissions done on a regular basis because of mental health, or because you don’t give enough of a shit about other peoples’ characters: don’t do commissions. I don’t mean this in a bad way; I’ve been in that spot before and it’ll just cause more stress and guilt than it’s worth.
-NO PARAGRAPHS. That sounds hypocritical of me writing this lol but do not put long paragraphs in your art shop, ever. I promise nobody will read it. Put your rules, and any other information, in bullet points that are one or two lines. Keep your rules clear, simple, unambiguous and short, or everyone will ignore it and I won’t blame them. Put titles and subtitles wherever you can. If you have a block of text longer than probably five lines, it will be ignored by most people. I have decided not to buy art from people because I didn’t want to have to dig through blocks of text for information.
….so yeah I think that’s about all I can think of at the moment. time to sit back and get yelled at for not being able to shut the fuck up and get to the point lol, hope you (yes you) have a great day c:

HC: Nagito’s Parents
After a lot of encouraging from friends and followers, I’m actually going to make this post. It’s something that I’ve alluded to a few times in posts and replies, but I’ve never said outright. I’m aware it’s a “hot take” among people who RP Nagito, and that’s why I’ve been hesitant.
It’s my RP blog, though, so I can do what I want.
Tumblr media
So let’s do this. Let’s talk about Nagito’s parents and his relationship with them.
One of the first things I do when I take on a character is think about their upbringing and what sort of things they went through. With Nagito, a lot of it was put out there in his FTEs. He glosses over most of his traumatic experiences, but we can tell that’s just how he deals with stressful situations. He’s been through so many of them that his coping mechanism is to hope for something good afterward, to count on his luck to give him something in return for the misfortune.
I mention this because stating something like watching your parents die horribly in front of you in a matter-of-fact way with a smile just shows how traumatic it was for him.
The hot take in this headcanon is simple. Nagito’s parents loved him, and he loved them. I understand where the opposite comes from as Nagito in the first trial says (Full Disclosure: this is taken from Ultimate Luck and Hope and Despair but he says pretty much the same thing in game.) “I’ve never received a compliment for my appearance before. Not even from my own mother.” I’ve actually noticed that this is really more of a trend in the English-speaking audience as most Japanese artists I’ve seen imply a good relationship with them. I’m not sure if it’s a translation thing because I don’t know enough Japanese to read the text or understand the audio, but it’s something to think about.
My problem with this is it’s such an offhanded comment, and he doesn’t elaborate on it in his FTEs. In fact, from those FTEs, we can infer the opposite. This is something my good friend Nova ( @theultimatemusemess ) pointed out to me way back. If Nagito’s parents didn’t love him, why would they take him on a vacation with them? They could afford for someone to look after him while they were gone. If they really didn’t care, they could even just leave him by himself.
I know quite a bit about wills and/or transferring belongings after death, but not much about how it works in other places. However, Nagito received all of their wealth and possessions. We could put this up to inheritance laws designating the child to be the recipient of properties, and Nagito has no other living relatives. However, these two were wealthy. I imagine they either of their own volition or under someone’s advice put a will in place.
Nagito says that his inheritance gave him independence, which is scary considering how young he must have been. He says he was in elementary school. That gives us an age of 6-12. No matter how you swing it, that’s young to be living on your own.
Why does this matter? Nagito was little when his parents died. That’s a large span of age possibilities. Depending on how young he was, he might not remember a lot of his life before. His parents’ death was a big event. Anything before that pales in comparison. Plus, Nagito has lost so many people, he tries to distance himself from everyone. I imagine he tries to belittle his attachment to his parents to protect himself from the grief.
To put it simply, as I said in my tags, Nagito isn’t a reliable narrator in his own story.
That’s all of the canon and albeit limited research I have to offer to excuse my reasoning. Now, let’s get on to the actual headcanon part. I’m going to introduce you guys to Nagito’s parents, who I lovingly put together as I do parents for most of my muses.
All I have as references are doll makers. (This one specifically) In the future, I’m hoping to have actual references for them, but for now, we have this.
Nagito’s Mother
Here’s the ref sheet that I put together for her. It includes a quick rundown of information as well. Note: For both of them, I took colors for skin/hair/etc. from Nagito himself.
Tumblr media
As it says on the tin, Miwako is a real estate agent. She’s high up in a particular agency that deals with foreign properties and buyers. As a consequence, she travels quite a bit and speaks several languages. If the agency is experiencing a problem, they ask her to resolve it as she notices details and remembers things that others put in the back of their minds. She’s been known to work herself too hard and fall asleep where she drops.
On the outside, Miwako is stone faced and looks like she’s locked on and ready to kill. It comes in handy when she’s working, but it hinders her in her social life. She cares about other people and their well-being. It’s just...hard for her to convey that properly. The only people who can easily do that are her husband, son, and close friends.
The only problem is her work doesn’t leave a lot of time for her child, who she loves very much. She carries pictures of Nagito on her person and goes from :| to :D when asked about him. Think of Maes Hughes pulling out tons of pictures of his daughter, and you have a good vision of how Miwako feels about Nagito.
One thing Miwako loves is reading. She funds a local library and donates books once she’s finished with them. Her favorite way to bond with Nagito is to read to him, starting his love of literature. Sometimes, she enlists her husband to do silly voices so they can all spend time together. A few times, she’s accidentally read Nagito bits from her own book (sleepily) before opening a children’s book when she gets in bed. Oops.
It was Miwako’s idea to get a dog. Since both of them worked so much, they wanted their son to have a companion while they were gone. Thus, they got Taiki shortly after Nagito was born. He ended up being keeping track of Nagito, who, as I’ll touch on in another headcanon post, got into trouble and got lost frequently. This stressed both parents out because that’s their baby and he ends up in these terrifying situations too often for comfort.
Miwako is really a nice person. She just finds it hard to communicate with others on a personal level. She loves her family, but she doesn’t have a lot of time for them.
Nagito’s Father
Tumblr media
Kozei is an interesting character. His specialty is medical research, something that he got an interest in as he grew older and watched parents, grandparents, etc. decline in health. He wanted to come up with ways to help ease the pain of aging and improve everyone’s quality of life.
Partially because of his family name and partially because of his own abilities, he rose up in the ranks and ended up at the top. This is something he isn’t always happy about because he hates doing paperwork and going through valid procedures. He also prefers to do things on his own rather than having other people do them for him. Kozei ends up doing actual work more often than his fellow big-wigs would like. He’s dedicated to his work and truly believes in it.
Personality-wise, Kozei is a bit of an airhead. He seems lazy on the surface, not always dressing formally or caring about his appearance. Getting him to brush his hair is an ordeal. He likes to make jokes and keep things lighthearted, one of the ways he was able to break through Miwako’s tough exterior. He’s a little forgetful sometimes, but when it comes down to it, he’ll remember small things like a person’s favorite color or a food they said they liked one time in passing.
Kozei’s work schedule is just as heavy as Miwako’s, but he gets home earlier and doesn’t have to travel as much. Some days when he feels bad about leaving his kid, he takes Nagito with him and sits him at his desk in his own special chair with crayons and paper. Kozei has so many drawings up in his office, and he’s proud of them. His son made those.
He has the more excited personality out of the two. Kozei’s thing is science. Anything science. Chemistry, biology, physics, you name it. He loves scientific advances and will nerd out about them. He’ll lay in bed late at night and talk Miwako’s ear off about something cool that she doesn’t understand. He’ll explain astrophysics to five-year-old Nagito, who just thinks he’s talking funny and laughs.
If you need someone to pick up your spirits, Kozei is your guy. If he believes in something, he believes in it ride or die, and that includes your friendship as well as his medical research.
Kozei and Miwako’s Relationship
How did these two meet? Simply put, Miwako sold Kozei’s father property, and since Kozei’s father was trying to involve him in his affairs as preparation for the future, he was there. They got to know one another, and on the last day they were going to interact, Kozei asked Miwako if she’d like to meet up sometime...possibly over dinner. At first, she had this face like “Are you serious?” but he did this thing where he gestured expectantly at her with this goofy grin that gradually got more nervous as the silence went on. Something about that tickled her funny bone, and she lost it. This nerd was asking her out, and he obviously knew how much of a stretch it was. She had to say yes, you know? He made her laugh.
They actually dated for a few years since their schedules made it hard to meet up a lot. After a few months, Kozei was on board for the long haul, ready to make the big commitment. Miwako was the more cautious one about things, wanting to feel it out before getting too caught up in the romance. He proposed to her after taking her to the same restaurant they went on their first date. (Obvious Spoiler: She said yes.)
They were fairly set financially, and they both wanted to have a child. However, it took quite awhile for pregnancy to happen. Miwako isn’t the best at doing romantic things, so the way she told Kozei was really just...
Miwako: *walks out* Hey, I’m pregnant. Kozei: Oh. Kozei: Wait what?!
As a couple, they have an open, honest relationship. If they have issues, they talk to one another and make sure they’re both on the same page before talking about doing anything big. Kozei tries to make Miwako laugh when she gets stressed. Miwako lets her guard down in front of him because she trusts him, and he’s a sweetheart. If asked, Kozei would tell you that his wife does most of the hard work and is a genius. He’s her biggest fan.
They’re honestly just really supportive of each other and will do anything to make sure the other is happy.
Nagito & His Parents
Like any new parents, they weren’t experts. They did some kind of silly things. Kozei may or may not have forgotten in a sleepy haze to put Baby Nagito in his crib, and the two of them may have had an exchange something like:
Kozei: Where's the baby? Miwako: I gave him to you. Kozei: shIT! NAGITO WHERE ARE YOU? Miwako: HE'S A BABY! HE'S NOT GONNA ANSWER!
The two of them find him later comfortably on a cushion that fell on the floor.
Because they work so much, they had to arrange for someone to care for Nagito while they were away. They had housekeepers and other staff to help who they paid well for their efforts. (They could certainly afford to, and they weren’t stingy with their money.) A lot of Nagito’s time was spent with a caretaker, but when his parents were home, they doted on him. They loved him very much. Nagito thought the world of them. He couldn’t wait for his parents to get home so he could tell them about his day.
They taught him as much as they could, and he learned some of their behaviors. A lot of Nagito’s body language mirrors Miwako’s, and his excitement about things he’s passionate about reflects Kozei’s. They weren’t in his life for long, but he had a close bond with them. They spent time with him and took him fun places when they had days off so they could all bond.
I wanted to compile some of the funny scenarios I’ve thought of, so here’s a one.
Kozei: Your mother works hard. Without her, I'd be some idiot rambling about science and probably homeless. Nagito: But science is cool. Kozei: I KNOW RIGHT?!
Another where Miwako is teaching Nagito what to do in case of an emergency.
Miwako: What would you do if you found me or your father on the floor and we wouldn't wake up? Nagito: Go to the kitchen and eat whatever I want. Kozei: *snorting*
And one last one after Miwako actually cooks dinner.
Miwako: How was it? Nagito: *not impressed* It tasted bad. Kozei: That's very mean. She went through all the trouble to cook for you. Say something nice about it. Nagito: Thanks, Mama, for trying.
These are just examples of the dynamic and how they’re pretty normal parents.
Their Death
I did way too much research about this vacation they went on. I looked at the location, what things people could do there, and what kind of flights needed to be taken. The last time I checked, it took...three different flights to get from Tokyo to San Cristóbal. (I can’t check right now flights right now are sketchy. Future Tiki who survived the pandemic, fact check me.) It’s a lot of flying.
There’s not a definitive answer as to whether this was right after they landed or right before they took off. I like to think it was the latter because I hate happiness. What’s better than a nice, fun vacation that ends with dead parents? (Heavy sarcasm.) I’m going to go with that.
The basics are that the plane was hijacked and a meteorite the size of a fist killed the hijackers and also Nagito’s parents. The truth of the situation is muddied mostly due to the fact that Nagito only provides that much information. He likely blocked out that memory and is going off of what he’s been told. This is just my take on it, but I imagine his information is so, for lack of a better word, flat because he doesn’t want to remember the situation first hand. His explanation is like that of an outsider, not someone who was there in real time. That and he was a child. (For the record, I place him at about 7 or 8.)
My interpretation of events is as follows. The plane was hijacked still on the runway. The passengers are afraid. These two have a young child they want to protect. They were probably fairly close to the hijackers since we don’t have the details of anyone else being hurt in this situation, though I do think it’s possible there were more.
In order to protect their child, maybe they tried to reason with the hijackers. Maybe they wanted to resolve things peacefully so everyone could go home and the hijackers could get a lesser punishment. Either way, both parties were killed, and Nagito became an orphan.
Now this child not even in double digits is in a different country, his parents just died in front of him, there’s strangers all over the place, and there’s a whole investigation likely happening. He’s terrified and alone. These people are talking around him, and a lot of what they’re saying doesn’t make sense. (Whether it’s the language barrier or just because he’s too young to understand doesn’t matter. Maybe it’s both.) Just imagine how scary that would be.
Imagine this tiny child saying he just wants his mom and dad and that he wants to go home. It’s heartbreaking.
How Nagito Copes With It
I’ve said it several times, but I’m going to put it all right here to make sure my thoughts are together.
Nagito tells Hajime that this event gave him his independence. It was one of the first incidents that showed him his “luck cycle” in action. In hindsight, he sees this event as more evidence that yes this is what’s happening. He looks back on it as a positive to protect himself. He was the last person left in his family, all alone. I like to imagine there were still people who worked in and around the home, but as a whole, he was by himself.
Without fully realizing it, as he grew older, Nagito ended up dealing with this grief by burying the happier memories. He built up this narrative that his parents were indifferent to him in order to avoid mourning them. The reason he doesn’t talk about them, what he says about his mother, how nonchalant he is when he mentions what happened? It’s his way of keeping himself safe. If he thinks of them as people who didn’t have an attachment to him, he won’t miss them. He won’t feel sad.
To put it simply, Nagito fabricated a narrative where his loving parents weren’t as loving in order to keep from feeling the pain of losing them and not having them there as he grew up.
There you have it. That’s the long, in-depth post about Nagito’s parents! If you read through the whole thing, thanks! I’m still nervous about posting it, so hit me up if you have any opinions or ideas or if you want me to talk more about things!

Comic Update #????
I know it’s been a while since y'all've heard from me here. I apologize. Things aren’t as good as they were when I started this thing a couple years back. Time is a fickle beast.....
I tried to promise a timely weekly serial on the outset – at that point it looked promising and viable! But after about 6 weeks, my timing began to crumble with my 2 jobs taking full helm of most of my waking hours:
> I wouldn’t be able to make the Wednesday deadline, so I made it "once-weekly" to make up for not being timely on the day of the week it was meant to be posted.
> One week would be pushed back, then was caught up by a double page week, then weeks were skipped due to work timing stuff
> then I tried to fill gaps with other artworks(conceptual and whatnot), including when inktober took over for a bit so this blog wasn't completely dead...
> ...and then, honestly, I lost steam. After 13 pages, I had to step back and focus on life things that kept making me put this project on the back burner. I had to - not move on, but - keep my mind focused on my job and my sister’s health(and my own).
Yes, I made a new page after a while, #14, but that one had so many setbacks with my art program constantly losing progress, then my computer itself failing last summer(thanks 2020!!), it put a bitter taste in my mouth for comic making for a bit. But at least I stuck with this project to finally hash out a ref sheet and to put down my concept for an 80s version(on a whim mind you, but still relevant!)
I do have a few ideas hashed out in my sketchbook for the next set of pages, that includes introducing Yannick Bisson’s character Sidney Swallows back in and a meetup/confrontation between WolfCop and Organo. AND I finally have the motivation to actually sit down and start, so hopefully after the holidays....
I’ll have a new page for y’all in the new year!?!?(or maybe in time for Christmas??? With my current motivation that’s likely!!)
Thank you for sticking with me these past couple years, and here’s to a more promising future!!
UPWARDS AND OMINOUS

Now Taking Commissions!
As the title says, commissions are now open! Feel free to step right up and pay me for art, though remember to read the rules below first!
What I will draw:
Fakemon (duh!).
Pokémon-related things in general (Pokémon, items, locations, scenes, etc.).
Fantasy creatures and creature designs.
Animals in general, both living and extinct.
Fanart, as long as it's SFW, bonus points for if it's a fandom I'm familiar with.
Your OCs and OC concepts. This includes you or your persona, as long as you keep any reference images of yourself confidential so as to avoid accidental leakage of private information.
Single-subject pictures, or anything involving at most two subjects.
Weapons and items. Keep in mind that these are usually 3D-modeled and may take longer or shorter than usual to produce depending on how complex they are.
Logos and emblems.
General character artwork, scenes, etc.
What I'll consider drawing:
Group pictures. I've done pics with up to ten people before, but that's a very taxing endeavor. I'll generally be most comfortable with five subjects or less, especially for finished pics. Lineart or base color pics carry a little more leeway for me.
My OCs. I'm currently in the process of revising more or less all of my characters, and I haven't finalized any of them just yet; I'd rather hold off on doing artwork with them until I've done so. If I post a finalized design I'll also provide an indicator that yes, they can be used with my commission work, provided that you do the research regarding their characterization and acceptable scenarios involving them. Exceptions to this rule include my eligible PPC characters (I'll put up a list of them ASAP for reference) and characters whom I've adopted from other people.
Canon characters from continua I'm not familiar with. Please provide as much ref art as you can in such instances, so I can have a better reference pool for work featuring such characters.
Comics (four panels or less is fine, but more than that would require further discussion; no multi-page comics, period).
SFW anthro. I'm not interested in drawing NSFW anthro stuff, of course, but I've drawn vanilla anthro before and while I don't have as much interest in it as general creature design, I'm open to anthro commissions as long as you keep them family friendly.
Pics involving creature violence, up to and including gory battle scenes. Snuff artwork and mutilation of canon characters are exceptions to this possibility and fall under inflammatory artwork, though.
What I WON'T draw:
NSFW content in general - this is my (mostly) SFW account for a reason. I do have NSFW commission info but if you want a NSFW commission then you'll have to PM me for it so I can route the info to you. (As noted above, though, monster violence involving gore is a possible exception. It shouldn't be the main subject, though.)
Inflammatory subject matter, e.g. hate art. Whether it's directed towards canon characters or other real-life people doesn't matter, it's always off-limits. This also goes for offensive subject matter in general, e.g. anything that slanders religion, race, sexual orientation, politics, etc.
Anything to do with current events, e.g. political cartoons. This can potentially fall under inflammatory content as noted above.
Commission Directions
NOTE ME FIRST. Discussing ideas before putting them on paper is a very important step to getting a commission done. Please let me know what scenario you want, what characters, and whether or not you want lineart, base colors, etc.
BE SPECIFIC. Send me as much ref art as possible, and try to describe what you want for your scenario as much as you're able. This way I'll have a better idea of what to draw.
I only accept cash commissions at this time. As tempting as point commissions sound, I need the cash money right now and I'd rather be able to use my earnings for things.
If you want me to draw artwork featuring another person's characters, ask the other person first. This goes without saying - I don't want to have to draw a character without their owner's consent!
Once we get the details taken care of, I'll determine whether or not I'll be able to draw the commission, and send you my e-mail address if I am. Be ready to send the appropriate payment through PayPal as soon as possible; I won't start drawing until the payment is provided in full. Again, I reserve the right to refuse a commission if it doesn't abide by the above rules, but do be aware that I'm a very busy person, and I have to turn down a commission if I simply don't have the time or resources to create it.
When the work is finished, I'll let you know ASAP and we can discuss whether to post the pic or not. If you want to post it on your account, I'll send you the completed pic so you can do so, but otherwise I'll put it up on my DeviantArt and Tumblr accounts. If you don't want me to post the work publicly, let me know as soon as possible.
Tying to the above, if you want to share the finished work online yourself, DO NOT DISRESPECT MY CREATIVE EFFORTS. This includes failing to credit me or linking back to my dA account, removing my signature from the finished work, or claiming that you created the work and deserve all the credit for it. I've seen the front and back ends of too many kerfuffles over this matter, and my stance is clear on this matter: I, THE CREATOR OF THE WORK, AM ALSO THE LEGAL OWNER OF IT, AND ERASING ME FROM THE WORK OR OTHERWISE NOT CREDITING ME WHEN SHARING IT IS ILLEGAL AS WELL AS POOR CONDUCT. So if you think removing my signature when sharing something YOU PAID ME to create is a good idea, don't commission me at all.
Likewise, when it comes to my prices, WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET, PERIOD. Do not ask me to lower my prices, do NOT bargain with me regarding prices, and do NOT ask if you can hold off your payment until after I finish the work. Be aware that I'm in a less stellar position than I feel I should be in terms of savings money, so every penny counts towards keeping me being able to afford the things I need and want. I THEREFORE HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO REFUSE A COMMISSION IF THE EFFORT REQUIRED DOES NOT MATCH THE SUM YOU'RE OFFERING. That being said, if you're willing to change your offer to a cheaper commission type, e.g. a $15 lineart instead of a $20 color piece, please note me as soon as possible so I can adjust accordingly. I'm willing to take lower payments as long as you understand that this affects the outcome of the commission and as long as you keep the discussion civil.
I'm a SLOOOOOW drawer. Work, family, chores, and just plain old procrastination are all to blame for that. If you feel that I've unknowingly neglected a commission you paid for or which we've otherwise settled, please let me know as soon as possible and I'll add or re-add you to the commission to-do list for future reference. Or just remind me in general so I won't forget.
Prices
Standard Commissions:
Lineart: $15 (1 subject) + $5 per extra subject
Base Color, No Background: $20 (1 subject) + $10 per extra subject; $5 extra for shading
Finished Artwork (Fully shaded): $30 (1 subject) + $10 per extra subject; $10 extra for background
Special Commissions:
Fakemon: $10 per stage (i.e. a 3-stage line would cost $30); shiny colors are $2 extra. This pricing also goes for Mega Evolutions, regional variants, and form changes, which require their own separate artworks and count as separate "stages".
Character Concept Sheets: $20 (1 subject only). Additional fees for supplementary sketches may apply; feel free to talk to me about such extra material.
Logos, Emblems, and Sprite Work (transparent): $5 per subject or logo; $1 extra for sprite shading; alternatively, $20 for a Pokémon-style sprite sheet.
Literature: $50 (up to 10 pages on GDocs) + $10 per extra 5 pages. I have very little time for writing as it is, so I'll need a very good reason to write something for you! Any number of characters is fine, as long as they abide by the rules above.
That's all, folks! Here's to making a lot of good commissions in the future!

The adoptables so far: which ones are which sign? Also, when would they be up for grabs and for how much? :0
TLDR cause I got caught up talking about the characters:
Fenwan - Rooster
Shishi - Dog
Shoyao - Rat
Shiaou - Snake
Changa - Rabbit
Kowlun - Dragon
Shajin - Ox
Yuulon - Horse
Sanzan - Sheep
Balyhu - Tiger
Qinshi - Boar
I’m not sure if I’m selling them yet! I have a half baked idea for a fanventure that I’m going to try and outline. If I can come up with something good, I’ll keep them (unless yall would still be interested in buying trolls that might later be used in a story?) but if I can’t come up with a solid outline, I’ll sell them. I’ve had a bad few days or I’d have decided by now, but I’ll try to have decided by the end of the week.
If I sell (or just do more in the future) they’ll probably be about $25, with an option to pay $50 and also get three talksprites for them, or $75 and get the talksprites + a full ref sheet.
Fenwan the rust is Rooster, because that caste is often associated with the dead, and the rooster is associated with exorcism in chinese folklore. His first name is a reference to the Fenghuang, a mythical firebird that is sometimes called “the autumn rooster” because it often takes the place of the rooster in in depictions of the zodiac. His last name (and pose) refer to Zhong Kui, a powerful exorcist who became king of all ghosts after suffering a great injustice.
Shishi the bronze is Dog. Her design was inspired by foo dogs, the guardian lion statues said to ward off monsters and evil spirits. They’re often made of bronze, and her last name, Tonshi, literally means bronze lion. Her first name, Shishi, means stone lion. I very nearly named her Shishi Shishi as a joke/reference to the Lion Eating Poet poem. But I thought it was important to keep the bronze part in.
Shoyao the gold is Rat. Rats associated with wealth in china, but with poverty in the west and I thought that was an interesting conflict, so I made her a low caste with “gold” blood, and extremely wealthy, but only in a cryptocurrency. Her first name is meant to resemble “首要的 (Shǒuyào de)” which means first and most important, because the rat is the first animal in the zodiac cycle. Her last name is a reference to Guanyin, a goddess who appears in Journey to the West, guiding and helping the heroes from behind the scenes.
Shiaou is the Snake. I wanted the snake to be a green blood, because I wanted to reference The Legend of White Snake. Her last name is corruption of Xiaoqing, the green snake character in the story, and her design is meant to resemble the way Xiaoqing is portrayed in peking opera. I might change her first name because i can’t remember why I named her that. I remember wanting it to reference Xu Xian...
Changa is the Rabbit. As soon as I started I knew I wanted the rabbit to reference Chang’e, who was carried up to the moon after drinking the elixir of immortality. Her last name is from “Bai Suzhen” the white snake character in The Legend of White Snake, because of her connection to Shiaou.
Kowlun the teal is the Dragon, because the dragon had to be teal obviously. Chinese dragons often symbolize authority and imperial power, and since teals are the caste that enforces imperial law, it makes sense. His first name is close to Kowloon, which means ‘nine dragons.’ Nine is a lucky number in chinese and is often connected to dragons. It also references Kowloon Walled City, a mazelike place with no law. His last name is for the bi’an, one of the nine sons of the Dragon King, who are supposed to guard prisons because they have an interest in law. They’re supposed to be half tiger, which connects him to Balyhu.
Shajin the cerulean is the Ox, which is the water buffalo in the Vietnamese version of the zodiac. I just wanted to make a cerulean who was a big, good boy. His first name is a reference to Sha Wujing from Journey to the West, who accidentally broke something and was turned into an ogre and chased by flying swords, which will stab him if he sets foot outside of the river he hides in. His last name means “Ox Head.” Ox-head and Horse-face (Niutou and Mamian) are guardians that greet the dead as they enter the Underworld.
Yuulon the navy is the Horse, because I couldn’t not make the navy a horse. His first name is for Yulong, a character in Journey to the West who spends most of the story as a horse, but in the end turns out to be a prince who was transformed and made to serve others as punishment. His last name means Horse Face and connects him to Shajin.
Sanzan the purple is the Sheep/Goat. This was another natural association. They are named for Sanzang, the main character in Journey to the West, a somewhat bumbling but very pure hearted monk. Their last name is for queqiao, the magpie bridge that allows separated lovers to meet once a year in The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl.
Balyhu the violet is the Tiger. Tigers are said to be ferocious and lordly, which sounded like a violet to me. His name was Baihu at first, a connection to Zhu Baije from Journey to the West, but then I realized I was a letter short, and naming him “ballyhoo (extravagent publicity or fuss)” seemed appropriate. His last name, Shanbo, is a reference to the story of the Butterfly Lovers.
Finally, Qinshi the tyrian is the Boar. Boar are associated with wealth, and also said to be naive and short tempered. And really I just wanted to make Boar and Tiger the ultimate disaster couple, so once I decided tiger was violet, I had to make boar pink. Her first name is for Emperor Qin shi Huangdi, who appears in the story Lady Meng Jiang. Her last name is for a character in the Butterfly Lovers, who is in love with an oblivious idiot that realizes he loves her too late and then they both pine to death. I don’t think Qinshi and Balyhu are in love, but they are destined souls who would die for each other, and probably will because they’re both very stupid. They’re Team Rocket, basically.
