Time to give dnp new vid ideas! What’s a vid that you want them to do that involves a specific activity outside their home and is NOT a ditl? (Think sensory deprivation tank vid)
Anon I want you to know that I've spent a good 15 minutes deep in thought about this ask as if they were actually willing to take suggestions so thank you for this.
Phil- I think he's way more physical and athletic than he gives himself credit for so I'd love to see Phil do something like adult gymnastics or boxing (since he seemed to enjoy that during ii prep) or swimming/diving. Like an actual 'try new things' series where he's out of his comfort zone a bit BUT he can't do that thing where he's intentionally bad and messes up on purpose like it has to be a real attempt
Dan- I'd love to see him do things that are pertinent to his interests so he actually gets into it, so like maybe him taking a lesson driving a F1 car on a track or taking an acting class. Like with Phil, I think it'd be cool to see him try more physical stuff not only because I think he's waaay more fit than he says he is but also because then being active is always good content (even things like the Krave challenges are SO fun to watch)
Together- 1) escape room 2) bottle feeding baby bears 3) dnp travel show (RIP) except it's not produced by a company so they have total creative control and don't put on the DanAndPhil™️ personas so they literally just go to fun places and talk about them and eat fun things and we get to come along

hey you know what actually, i wanna ask since i rejoined the phandom after dnp came out BUT have u noticed that in the recent videos they're more touchy and stuff (what with Phil's love language also being physical contact but idk i might just be a demon) or is my mind just going crazy cause im content deprived? :/
by the recent videos you mean 2018? they kinda are??? also they started to sit unnecessary close to each other. also the leaning! god, the leaning, especially on Phil's part, sometimes he gets so close to Dan's face the thirdwheel scale is screaming in alert. i don't think i pay much attention to casual touches because they became a regular thing. tho Phil grabbing Dan's wrists is a different story 😳 anyway, yes, they became more free with interactions and just their words on camera especially in comparison with 2014-2016. i love this. feels great, feels organic.

Claaaire, you asked us to send you things and I wanted to tell you i might be going to vidcon mexico to see the boys ??? And I'm really excited (but also not, we don't need to talk about that part tho), I would be going with a friend and her girlfriend and I got them into the phandom so big !!!!!! I hope you feel a little better soon:(
omgggg i’m late to answering this bc i fell asleep super early last night rip shskhsksjsk but OMGGGGG THATS AMAZING!!!!!! i can already tell vidcon mexico is gonna be the BEST time because like, not to sound deprived or anything but..... you might get to see them interact!!! for the first time in months!! and maybe even meet them!!! also that’s so awesome that you were able to get people into the phandom too!! the only 2 irls i knew that were in the phandom ditched dnp for kpop in 2017 sjskskshsks. which like, i wouldn’t blame them for leaving now but 2017? really?? in the golden age of content?? needless to say, i felt pretty abandoned for a while lmao but anyway thank you! i am doing a bit better now, i think my work just majorly bums me out. that and the massive amounts of homework i have this weekend but at least after tuesday, i’ll be much more free :’)) i hope you all have the best best time if you do end up going!! 💖💖💖

Dab and Evan with 18!!!
Thanks so much for the request! It's been so long since I watched DnP play the sims that I'd forgotten how much I loved these boys, but I went back and rewatched some for research purposes and they are so beautiful and I miss them ;-;
Anyway, sorry that I didn't really get to much of the shippy content in this bad boy. With how long it's been since I watched the series I was just trying to come up with a plot. I definitely have ideas on how I could continue it as a longer story that covers their whole camping trip, confession, first kiss... everything, but I dont know that I have the motivation lol. But yeah! Here ya go!

Dab knew he had always been something of a wild card. From the first day of kindergarten when a little girl pointed out his wild curls, from the first day he met Evan Pancakes and his energy scared the poor boy into hiding behind his mother's leg, hell, from the first day he was born into the Howlter family. Nobody had to tell him he was different for him to know. That didnt stop them from telling him anyway.
He never really minded, though. He had never been without friends, and that was what mattered, right? He was true to himself and had people who cared about him. What was so wrong about being different, anyway?
You know, as long as he don't decide to take an impulsive camping trip to the middle of an uncharted jungle wilderness with his lifelong best friend/crush over a long weekend.
Which was exactly what Dab had in mind that evening.
The idea struck him the way genius does: at 4 am over a PB&J. In a matter of seconds the text was sent, and the plan was conveyed. Evan, of course, was asleep and unable to bask in the brilliance of Dab's bleary-eyed, sleep-deprived lunacy. After a few moments and the rest of his sandwich, Dab returned to his bed and fell asleep, immediately forgetting that he had just offered to take Evan on an "amazing adventure in Selvadorada."
A light buzzing woke Dab up early the next morning. His phone screen lit up with a notification - a text. Typical Evan, up at the crack of dawn.
"This is without a doubt the stupidest plan you've ever had. Of course I'm in!"
"Plan?" Dab sleepily croaked to himself. "Wha-"
His eyes drifted slowly upward to the previous messages. Or, actually message. Filling up the rest of the screen was a massive wall of typo-ridden text that Dab had no recollection of thinking, let alone typing. But it had definitely been sent from his phone at precisely 4:23 a.m. that morning. And it was all about how the two of them could "soend some wuality time together, I can shiw off my rockin musclss and we can fight kff giant bugs together. Ya knkw I read an article about how they have mosquitos thst get up to 6 inches long. Id figt em off for you... Id fight off a 10 pound mosquito..."
Looking back at it, even Dab himself knew it was crazy. And yet, Evan had agreed. That was something he loved about Evan. No matter how timid and introspective he was, he always took Dab's schemes seriously. There was never any "Haha that's insane, you'll never go through with it." It was always either "I don't think that's a good idea and here's why" or "How can I help?"
Dab sat there in bed a while longer, rereading the messages and attempting to process what they meant. When everything finally clicked into place, he ran to his parents' room and nearly broke down the door trying to wake them up. The original text had said that he would book a campsite as soon as he heard back.
It took a little more than an impulsively slapped-together plan to convince Dil and Tabitha to let their oldest son go traipsing about the jungle without an adult, but after a little prodding and pleading and no small amount of puppy dog eyes, they broke down. Evan was a responsible young man, after all. And they were Howlters, impulsivity and getting into trouble ran in their blood. Why not let the kid have a little adventure?
The site was booked in less than a minute, and Dab shot off another text.
"Meet me outside in fifteen with your stuff. We've got a bus to catch."

I was wondering if you guys had any ideas or thoughts on what DnP will do in the future (youtube related). After watching dans live show about how he isn’t really concerned with videos and how he views himself as a creator and not a “youtuber” and what this means for them. I feel phil will go back to his usual but I am unsure what is going on haha there isn’t much “content” besides gaming”

hello! since touring is starting soon and their live shows aren’t going to be/haven’t been as frequent and being content deprived is sad, we (@softstripes & @occasionalester) wanted to begin hosting stream sessions where we can all watch dnp videos together!
What exactly does that mean?
we want to use rabb.it to host streams where we would watch dan and phil videos with other tumblr phandom members! for anybody unfamiliar with rabb.it, on it you can watch videos with friends while video, audio and text chatting at the same time, which means we can all react to and cry over videos together!
but first, we want to start by asking for your opinions on what would be the best times to host these streams, and also what you would like to watch! we created a questionnaire where you can tell us all this in a simple and organized way which can be found here.
we’ll decide when our first stream will be depending on the responses we get so we don’t have exact dates yet, though we hope to make these streams a weekly or bi-weekly thing!
This all sounds cool, but…
…why rabb.it? rabb.it can be used all on devices (phones, laptops, etc) and is completely free! but in the poll there will be an option to suggest another app/website if you believe there’s a better option.
…do i have to show my face? video chat is absolutely not necessary! you can use the text chat and have a good time that way.
…i’m not good at talking to new people. we completely understand feeling uneasy towards the interaction and you would never be forced to interact if you chose not to, though we do encourage it! you’ll be surrounded by people who love dnp just as much as you do, so it would be a great time to share urls, make new friends, talk about favorite moments, etc!
if there are any questions/concerns/suggestions you have for us, please feel free to send them!! and please answer our questionnaire so we know how to best host these things :-)

(Sims anon): the only reason why I like seasons is cause of the outfits and the weather. I want to buy it for only those reasons. I dont really care about the weird holidays, just the necessary ones like Halloween and xmas lol. If you had to pick ONE what would it be? I think I would get jsut cats and dogs cause you can be a vet in it AND have pets
omg hahahaha honestly the outfits look so cool too?? there’s seriously soooooo much that comes in the expansion packs i can already see myself getting addicted within 2 minutes lmao
and omgggg that’s so hard but i’d probably go with cats and dogs too! mostly because i wanna recreate all the dogs i’ve ever owned and i really really wanna see all the breeds since dnp rudely DEPRIVED US OF THAT CONTENT and i’m still not over it. but get famous is a super close second since as soon as i saw dnp use it with dab i was instantly hooked lol it just looks so cool?? i can’t even explain it i just.... want it all so bad lmao i can’t believe i have to wait a week and a half before i get paid again rip
