oh, this chapter was so sweet... they love each other so very much. i just love how he tian is showering him with kisses and tender touches, he looks at him with so much adoration even when he puts the ring on his finger, he wants to catch his every expression. guan shan hugs he tian so tightly because he doesn't want him to go again. he's crying, CRYING because he missed him and he's so overwhelmed by his gift!

and i love that old xian chose to show us that after so many years, after so many official arts that had left us interrogative about their future, after so many chapters, especially the latest ones that really pinpoint the obvious progress in their relationship.

i know old xian has even more development in store for them so we would get their wedding on the next christmas special and i wouldn't be surprised.

He Tian getting jealous just because Mo got impressed by a total strange 😭🤣

During my few-monthly reread of 19days i was looking for parallels to post in a discord server and this one really stood out to me.

The clear shift in dynamic, how He Tian used to be so hellbent on owning or controlling mo, and then… just somewhere along the way, he became completely devoted to giving everything he has and is to Mo. I dont know, i just find this so important. He tian is in love and i love watching it play out <3

I was inspired by this Old Xian illustration of the boys going on a day trip. I'd like to think at one point, they have to hire bikes to get somewhere but could only afford two. Not easy, but doable. Then Jian Yi and He Tian thought of making it a little more challenging by turning it into a race! Idiots. It would've been a real race, had Zhan Zheng Xi taken the rider seat, but Classic Main Character Jian Yi believed that he could do it. He could not do it. At some point Zhan gets off and starts pushing. Meanwhile, He Tian - the giant labrador that he is - is expending all of his energy trying to get there as fast as he can. Being just a little bit reckless with his steering, all in the hopes that Mo Guan Shan would cling to him a little tighter. Meanwhile Mo Guan Shan is most stressed about not dropping He Tian's expensive-looking satchel.

Writing this little story was easy because Old Xian has done such a wonderful job fleshing out these characters for the past 10 years that I feel like I know them as if they were real people. Happy 10 year anniversary Old Xian, here's to another 10 more with these boys!

I really do get He Tian cos imagine having no one & being lonely but you meet this delinquent dude who is mean to everyone & is seemingly just not a nice person and you think he’ll be good company strictly for entertainment only to get to know him better & find out he’s actually an angel who deserves none of the reputation he has & is actually just as alone and isolated as you but just shy & awkward with a lot of adversity he has to face and you watch as he continues to pull through and he’s also a mamas boy who’s actually really respectful and to top it all off he’s absolutely gorgeous and has a tiny waist and blushes like a school girl and can cook you amazing home meals? Yeah I’d be whipped too.
