hiii!!!!!! ocean lover solidarity!!!!!! i DO like subnautica a whole lot it's such a cool game. i never got to play too much of it but i have watched many many many playthroughs the reaper leviathan was literally THE COOLEST THING EVER to me for a while. now that you've reminded me of it i'll probably go and watch markiplier play it!!!! other ocean games i REALLY LOVE and completely reccomend is: abzû, an absolutely beautiful game, even though its super short and i finished it in 2 hours playing casually, it was so cool and i had a lot of fun. the other one is SOMA, by frictional games which is just a phenomenal game that i really really love still :D sorry for the long response i love ocean games HFDJKAH

what really gets me about soul and maka's relationship is in the little things

it's made extremely clear very early on that soul is always ready to die for maka and he puts her life above his own, shielding her body with his whenever she's in danger without second thought, but it's the tiny mundane things that really make their bond so precious to me. when they're in italy and soul says they should go to an all-you-can-eat-buffet together when he can just go by himself; when maka cooks for him and literally brings breakfast to his bed; when soul tells maka to wait for him after they finished a mission to "bring the bike around" so she doesn't have to walk the extra distance

for soul and maka, acts of service are their signs of affection. no extra words necessary, just the knowledge that the other person is there is enough, because there's never a shadow of doubt that things would ever be any other way.
