im having a nap and then i WILL do my bi-annual inbox cleanse this is a promise and a warning
#no it’s not actually bi-annual but somehow the reality of me letting it build up until i frequently bulk answer 60 in one go is worse#the way the tbos account is also a state. what is my problem#i literally love answering asks as well like not even just the inherent joy of knowing people are going out of their way to interact#i also like the routine of it like i get a cuppa i put on a playlist and then i just. answer my little asks#but i get behind so quickly these days (which is a wonderful problem to have!) and the amount of times i go in my inbox#like ‘todays the day!’ just to answer a couple and then tap out is abysmal 😭#so im hoping posting it here will hold me accountable#if im not clogging ur dash in 2 hours time pls shout at me#im so sleepy though it’s absolutely a terrible idea to have a nap at 7pm but im doing it anyway#i left the flat at 8:30am and was in an exam until GONE TWELVE#AND HALFWAY THROUGH BLACKBOARD FROZE ON ME AND KICKED ME OUT! Hi! I just wanted to let you know that re-reading Brilliant Analytical Minds literally helped me get through my thesis and finish my degree this semester. It's my comfort fic that I always go back to when life gets messy. On my next re-read, I'm going to try and leave comments about my favorite parts in each chapter on ao3, since I haven't had the time to do it yet (assuming this isn't annoying, ofc)
💚💚💚 That's so sweet to hear, thank you for telling me! I've been really going through it with my school workload this semester too, so I'm very pleased to have unknowingly provided graduate student solidarity in that regard ✊
#i get overwhelmed replying to comments on ao3 sometimes (not unlike my tumblr inbox) but i love reading through them <3#went to a seminar today with another member of my cohort who also used to write fanfiction in undergrad#and she brought up how fun it is to still get emails from ao3 that people are kudosing her fanfic#even now that she doesn't have time to write anymore#which i also very much enjoy. but it's even more thrilling when people tell me they're re-reading#because that is to me the most flattering possible review!
