i finished it, was kicked out of the game, and then spent the next 10 minutes drawing this. i will now go take a shower, most likely cry, and then go through the emotional turmoil of convincing myself to reset so i can do a geno run. i hate it here :D

Miss Mischievous Fearne

An elbow injury and a severe lack of motivation made completing this incredibly detailed chaotic friend quite difficult. But, she’s finished at last! Hopefully the solstice tonight doesnt end in a tpk...

Early on, Fearne was fairly easy to paint, then slowly she became more and more overwhelming. Combine the daunting task of getting all her details just right with some tendonitis, and I found myself having to walk away for a while. I’m not fully satisfied but I realized if I don’t stop now, she’ll never be done, and that’s the opposite of the growth I’m aiming for.

Anyways, I’m working on Orym already and he’s actually going really well, and has boosted my confidence again. After he is done, I think I’m going to do Chetney, followed by Ashton, FCG, and lastly Dorian.

I reimangined Mabel Pines as a high schooler!

I like to believe she would be friends with the weird gays of the arts (theater, band, art, choir, etc) and is an ✨ally✨. She took skating as a new hobby and has triple increased her chances of breaking things and falling down and eating shit.

Waddles has been incorporated in the family similar to a house dog, so he's leash and potty trained. Mabel likes to abuse this privilege by bringing him everywhere and incorporating him into her shenanigans.

Mabel still loves to create her own clothes, and wants to create her own line someday. As well as being a pro skater, multimedia artist, video blogger, costume designer, and everything and anything she can get her hands on.

Her fashion hasn't fully changed from the show. She still wears sweaters and amazing earrings (fashion icon before her time), though has added turtlenecks, skirts and pockets. I like to think she decided to cut her own bangs and experiments with her fashion often. It tends to learn towards art hoe and weirdcore aesthetics.

Reading Batgirl 2000 is making me want to write a Dark Batman fic.

what do you fucking mean that's how charlie dies. THAT'S HOW CHARLIE DIES??? i mean i know the show has a penchant for killing off every character who's not a winchester brother or an angel of thursday but good god. what the fuck. charlie was such a good and enjoyable recurring character, and she had such a fandom impact that i've seen, and she's only around for THREE SEASONS?? (sidebar: it's amazing she has the presence she does for only being around for a couple episodes in the long run!) but: was this necessary? and she just dies offscreen after her skills are utilized to progress the plot of decoding the book of the damned?? oh my god. what in the actual fuck. i'm finding myself getting genuinely very upset at her death. she did not fucking deserve that. and i can absolutely see why the fan response to her death is what it is now. completely fucking unjustified and throwaway and useless.

My friend got me hooked on @exilethegame and I’ve played it so many times just to keep playing my Phoenix commander Emil Ryder :) he is so fucked up and broken and my whole experience has been “how can i make it evident that this poor man has been emptied out and broken beyond repair” and then the author ENABLES ME it’s the best thing i’ve ever encountered

the other day I came across the acronym FAAFO, and immediately thought of your Fafo. Had to look it up because I was unfamiliar, and it's the phrase Fuck Around and Find Out. Sometimes it's abbreviated FAFO instead.

and I was wondering if you were familiar with it/were thinking about that phrase, when you gave Fafo her nickname?

I did know about it! I thought it was especially funny that her name could mean something like that, because when she raided Eureka she really did fuck around and find out. I even called it out in the post she was introduced in!

And to this very day, she continues to fuck around and find out as a mechanitor and one of my most beloved colonists <3 <3 <3

If I were to change her name now that she was married, she'd be called "Faka" (Farov Kaznove), which I think is also hilarious, but it would take too much getting used to. She remains Fafo.

It's so crazy to imagine people thinking about these characters I've drawn in their day-to-day lives, just out in the wild like that O.o
