My 5 cents on the finale:
Loved it. Great storyline wrap-up, true to the characters, nice full circles, good balance between drama, humor and hopefulness.
No Buddie-Resolution (yet) is a bummer, yeah, but the rest was really great.
And Buck being with a plus-size lady also is something that makes me kind of happy.
So…while it didn‘t give me everything I wanted, it gave me a lot that I loved.
Happy Madney, Bathena and Henren <33
Buck who rescues basically everyone (with help ofc.)
And a Buck and an Eddie that both finally feel worthy enough of love to actively seek it out.
Buck convincing someone obsessed with death to pick someone full of life (imho a metaphor for Buck choosing life and hope and optimism over and over again).
Beautiful.
I personally loved season six a lot and can‘t wait for season seven.
My money is on the Bathena cruise going all sort of wrong. But I hope they get a bit of honeymooning in first. They both deserve a break.

Idrk what's the problem with these actresses fr. it all started with Ana and her actress istg I can't even see her face without feeling rage dmgsktkgs
we actually had a huge fight with Carla's actress too, now that I remember lol.
the funny thing with the Buck and Lucy mess is that you/we can actually see how that was supposed to end.... with them sitting besides each other at the HenRen wedding and everything.
after the finale, some actors posted pics on insta welcoming her (Lucy/Arielle) to the ~~family~~ so we assumed she was there to stay but! that also didn't happen.
also, the BuckTaylor relationship wasn't supposed to last that long lol (even though their 3 fans who thought they were endgame). back after Brawl in cell block there was a ~~fake~~ synopsis that talked about Eddie and Taylor butting heads over something. so there were theories about Taylor making a coverage on the whole thing outing Mitchell as the donor. we thought /that/ was supposed to start the problems between Buck and Taylor, and their eventual break up, but the synopsis was debunked (?) and so we were ~~blessed~~ with more of them together.
a whole thing happened with ghost stories too, we had a synopsis and a promo, it was supposed to be a Halloween ep and then! they changed everything. we were supposed to see the case of a girl who lived alone who thought there were ghost in her house but in reality it was a dude living in her attic or something, and instead we had a chapter full of Taylor Kelly... is the worst rated ep in IMDb to this day...
ALSO, someone was supposed to die in the last ep lmao. the articles talked about a big loss and I'm not gonna lie we hoped that big loss was Lucy 🤭😶

yeah icl i thought an episode titled ghost stories was going to be a halloween episode? it made so much sense? and honestly that synopsis sounds sooooo much better, kinda spooky, kinda fun and tbh? did we really need to know that about taylor like sorry your dad killed your mum or something but i don’t really care? HAJSKF not it still being the worst rated episode 😭😭

can i tell you i really appreciate your takes on 911 because you are better than just about anyone at genuinely critiquing the show but always being fair and still enjoying the show. some people critique from such a buddie-only focus that it's hard for me to take them seriously. like if you haven't liked the hen/henren stuff this season or think it's bad, i don't really want to talk to you. sorry i digress a little, i want to make this ask about you being awesome. :)
i guess it's that i feel like your critiques are always coming from a place of love of the show, which i relate to. so just thanks and keeping being you. <33
tbh I feel like hiatus is coming at a good time. I think people need to whoosaaaaah a little bit. Take those 3 months to step away from fandom and find joy in other things. We wanna go into 6B feeling good ya know?

I loved this episode :D!! I thought the call center/home invasion plotline was really good, though I feel bad for Maddie, and even that guy :(((. I don't remember his name xD. But it was cool and well thought out, especially given she showed him how to check the logs a whiiiiile ago, and yeah, it was great :D.
Now quick stuff!!
Maddie and Chimney: I'm happy they did get a nanny, but I'm also happy they got rid of her XD. I couldn't have dealt with her any longer lol. But it was a funny storyline XDD. Still, I think they may end up needing one again in the future. But! Yeah, I'm glad that particular household manager is gone lol :).
Hen (and Karen of course!!): I am SO glad she passed the exam :D. I mean I really didn't think she'd fail, but still :))). I thought we might spend more of the episode (like earlier on), on it, but it felt good in the time it had :)). Also yes their family remains adorable <33. And their one with the 118, obviously :D. Anyway, add another HenRen interruption to the list xD Poor them xddd.

Buck, Eddie, and Chim just vibing and seeing if Hen keeps it together is iconic xDd But also Buck's barely keeping it together lol, trying to find peace and all and that situation. Poor guy :((.
Also Evan sir you are gay <3 Just accept it and move on

I saw something recently that was like I love Henren and I love angst and all but can they have one storyline that isn't super serious or sad, and like xDD Yeah lol

I like how they're a very realistic couple though and still have emotions even when the other one does yaknow? Like Karen is justified in being upset about Hen forgetting to pick Denny up but also she understands and is still there for Hen <333 Iconic, truly.

Okay I just watched the first 10 minutes and UHH. XDD DANG lol. I kinda figured it was something like that but still xdd. Also a tunnel is a little extra. It was funny and interesting tough lol
And ahhh it was a medically induced coma, okay, I see. Still, it sucks :((. And there's the start (that we see) of her denial too. Poor lady :((. Poor all of them, honestly. Just, oof xdd.
Also, it sucks that he choked a bit (I don't know if I'd call it crashing and burning lol - also I find it funny how with "burning" they had a chance to have the fighters actually fight like. A fire xDD but I get that they're ent more with the crash theme lol - oh wait, back from putting the title at the end, I just remembered it's learn XDD Nevermind then, lol), but I'm sure whatever his face was, 9-1-1 dispatcher boy, will do great :)). He just has to get a little more experience first :D. I think he'll do great <3. Hopefully he's not evil lol.
Overall, I loved the episode. The calls were fun, though a bit sad at times Hen's storyline was amazing, as was Athena's side. Ayy, our besties have an episode :D. Kind of together, but also super far apart lol. Also, poor Buck, honestly. Man is struggling lol. But yeah, I really connected with Hen here so I just feel extra bad for her <3. Anyway, it was a great episode. This season's shaping up to be really good :).
So, that's about it! It was an amazing episode, and I am looking forward to the next one. This has been my review of. . .

Like, they just love each other sooo so so much 😭😭😭😭❤️❤️. I can't.
Anyway, Karen was amazing this episode, obviously. She was smart (including knowledgeable), funny (mostly in the flashbacks, and the end xD), and finally just an icon in general, as she always is. But most importantly, she's ALIVE 😍😍😍😍🤩🤩.
Hen!! Again, icon, funny, amazing?? Not that she wasn't also smart lol, like how I said with Karen xDD. To be fair, she did save that guy! Anyway, I'm so glad she was able to save Karen 😭😭. Well, all of them really. Also, even though it's a bit of a own with how much time she spent on it, I'm glad Hen chose to continue to be a firefighter :')). And she was also great in the flashbacks <33.
And I'm so glad Denny's okay too :))). I was less worried about him than Karen - more guts to kill him (honestly the younger the gutsier in most cases I think lol) - but still :)). And he is of course adorable and an icon <333.
Anyway I am W E A K for those flashbacks 😭😍😍🤩😭😍. It was soooo nice to get to see more of their relationship and how it developed, especially since they were like the only couple (that is currently still together anyway lol) established at the beginning of the series. Or like, from before that, I guess.
Anyway, they are such an amazing family and I love them so so so so so so so much <333333333.
Also the acting in this episode was just PHENOMENAL. Amazing job to all of them 🤩😍😍🤩.
Overall, I thought this was an absolutely stunning episode. I just loved it :D. The storyline, the emotion, the flashbacks - all amazing. Honestly it felt kind of like a HenRen Begins lol. Or, HenRenDen Begins xD. But yeah, we had our team family, and our Hen, Karen, and Denny family, and both were wonderful :). I seriously loved it, and I'm sure this'll be one I'll rewatch a lot.
So yeah! What a great episode. It was so, so good. I just loved it. I'm excited for next week, too, with the Halloween episode! This has been my review of. . .
