WIEIAD recovering from being sick and for some reason i actually had more than 2 meals today??? (Usually the absolute max) this is good ig, gonna try to be happy instead of sad abt this. I'm vegetarian btw in case anyone is wondering why there's no meat or fish in my day.

Breakfast: Had some oatmeal but instead of using a splash of milk and mostly water, i used a splash of a chocolate protein shake my grandpa bought me, i can't stand liquid cals but i wanted to try it since protein shakes are usually like THE fit thing, it was way too high cal, i did have some more later but then i gave the rest to my younger sibling, cuz it's essentially choc milk and obv she liked it so idrc. With the oatmeal, i had an apple, and recently i replaced sugar with honey for most things idk why it was kind of random but it happened so i used a teaspoon of honey to sweeten the oatmeal instead of sugar. After that i had an orange (hard to believe i used to be scared of fruit bc of "sugars" and how "calorically dense" they are, i'm still pretty sensetive with fruit but i do eat them. Ngl i think the orange was a binge bc i rly wasn't going to have it and i didn't even want it and i felt full and had knew it was just gonna add calories, but i ate most of it out of control and threw away the last two slices, felt really bad after the binge too Cals: 364

Lunch: had some leftover ig stew? It's a traditional dish called "canja" but it's essentially a chicken stew and all the other ingredients can vary quite a bit, i had half a boiled carrot, with 2tbsp of the rice and i added 1tbsp of canned black eyed peas for protein and heated it all up. Afterwards, i had about half a berry yoghurt and threw the rest away :/ Cals: 98

Pm snack: had a small slice of melon and a 10kcal zero sugar jelly, it's so good and cheap, i bought it when i was sick cuz i felt like gelatin so i wouldn't puke again but i couldn't stand sugar so problem solved. Cals:28

Dinner: had like 5 bits of colourful twisty pasta (sry idk the name of it, it's like penne pasta but it's twisted and not hollow, yk?), and another 1/2 of boiled carrot, with 1tbsp of black eyed peas and less than half a beetroot. Cals: 66

Late night/post dinner snack: immediately after dinner i got hiccups and i hate hiccups; they're terrible so i had some tea to calm down (it actually kind of worked? Thank God cuz hiccups are so painful) and a plain buiscuit. Cals: 31

Daily total: 587kcal (trying not to be too harsh on myself, especially as i was literally sick yesterday but i still feel terrible as this is more than double my daily limit, ik that's terrible). Got around 23grams of protein, which is prob not enough, i could have just had the full protein shake as it would have given me 25g of protein but i'm really scared of liquid calories.

Water: not sure exactly how much but i know i got at least 2L, prob a little over it. My goal is 3L when i do overexercise a lot but 2.5L when i do nornal exercise. When i don't reach this goal i have to have at least 2L otherwise i feel bad.

Exercise: decided to try out sprint intervals instead of long running but only managed 6mins or so of 30:30 sprint intervals, so i learnt something new to work on, increasing my resistence during sprinting. Looking on the positive side of things is always nice ♡ (≈50cals?)

Sleep: tommorow i don't have school so despite going to bed at almost 12pm i'm hoping to sleep a lot. Update, i had maybe 7hrs or so. Not enough as the amount women need is between 8-10hrs and men only need around 7-8hrs (again gonna depend on a lot of other things, don't feel bad for sleeping "too much", if ur concerned it could be a symptom of something, visit a doctor if you can cuz both being under and overly tired can be a sign smth is worng, but as long as ur having at least the minimum amount it's fine ig). Sorry i just wanted to info dump abt the amount of sleep u need hehe, but srsly i haven't been getting enough sleep recently which sucks cuz i love sleeping.

Okay so to start with the four of them all work under the Fuchsia Cieeoo who runs their sector of alternia like that of a company, that is what we refer to their sector as as well. Sector names aren't used in universe for the most part. Anyway, with how the company works, anyone of any caste can get any job. As long as they have training to do it. -Cay

This post has been worked on and forgotten by two people I'm going to scream. Anyway, Cieeoo has a bit of a boundaries problem and regularly invades the lives of the people in their sector their assistants got them to stop showing up at people's houses but they still like to play matchmaker with their people. Gorsol, Yonnii and Ramall all have traditionally teal blooded jobs and were all given a shared living apartment. This went well for them surprisingly as they are all now in a matesprite polycule together.

Ramall he/they is a tealblood they work with wills of the deceased.

Now, after this, it gets pretty vague because we stopped working on them for half a year and simply forgot what the other two did

Gorsol he/him indigo, we are fairly sure he worked interviewing people for different areas in the company and the paperwork for that. Remember that he was meant to travel a lot.

Yonnii he/she jade, I think did like you know those tests that schools make you take to figure out what job would be best for you she does that for now.

Most of them, obviously, while they aren't doing their normal caste job, aren't very far from what they used to do. It's comfortable even if more in line with their skills.

Lilini they/them olive is an exploror and archeologist they find abandoned destroyed towns and cities and find lost history that previous Heiresses and Empresses left in ruin.

Yonnii and Lilini are crushing on each other hard. Gorsol and Ramall have already told Yonnii they're cool with them, but Yonnii is, of course, just like what? Me? Crushing on my new friend? Ridiculous. And Yonnii is slowly gaining interest in Lilini's job going with them on missions on his day off. Going into something far from the caverns and what she is used to and starting to live his best life.

They really are just tired gays with a hyper olive slowly sliding in. One of the polycules with the least amount of drama they have like nornal relationship problems compared to the batshit some of the others have.

Ans even if much was forgotten still love em and getting back into them they can be expanded on.

You know one think I liked a lot about the She Ra finale?

There is the same amount of same-sex canon relationship as the straight one, but there's a big difference.

The most important and explicit gay couple was between the protagonist of the serie and a co-protagonist. And we can clearly see that they cared about each other during the ENTIRE series, but in the last season they were explicit the whole time. HELL Catra said "Not like I want her" far before they kiss, and when they finally did it was undeniable. They love each other, they are canon.

The other gay couples where Spinnetossa, who were obvious during the ENTIRE series and they also kissed twice (in the english dub they are also married I think?), and Kyle and Rogelio whom we never saw togheter and get one line but that was "Kyle has a crush on him" so... this is also explicit.

Now... the straight couples.

First thing first, Searmista! My babies who flirted since season 2.

But they actually never said they were together, they never kissed, Mermista never admitted she loved him too. Also, they are the most important straight couple and are secondary characters.

Second: Glimbow. They confessed during the battle, but didn't kiss. The only time we saw them acting like a romantic couple was during Adora's dream sooo... yeah, you CAN see them that way but the series never EXPLICITELY SAID IT, hell, the confession was out of the blue even, nothing about their relationship until then couldn't be seen as mere friendship.

Ohhh and we must not forget Hordak and Entrapta!! Again, you ship them? Good good, theh have chemistry and a good story but...aren't they just...lab partners, friends? It's what they keep talking about, how they are friends. You can obviously see them as lovers, see them falling in love but that happened on screen? Did they ever said they were in love?

Nope, they did not.

It was implied.

Shera swapped the couples, making explicit the relationship that nornally aren't and treating the straight ones as media normally treat lgbt+ couples and characters and i think that's so sexy of her.

The calm before the storm.

A nornal day in Liyue, right? Wrong. Childe's the reason we can't have nice things >:(

Ayame walked through Liyue, humming a lighthearted tune that drifted off in the morning wind.

It was a rather slow day, and she wished she could have spent the entirety of it in her bed, asleep. After the last emergency commission she took the previous day, she felt rather tired, but mora is mora, and she could never pass up so much of it.

Sure, fighting a few rogue ruin hunters was tiring, but she'd been through far worse. A little sleep deprivation wasn't going to do anything horrible to her anyway.

In her hands, she was holding a letter, or rather, a commission she got from the adventurer's guild. It wasn't anything too exciting, but it paid, and Mora was tight for Ayame.

She missed the days when she could go out and get something fancy to eat. Usually, it was right after a dangerous mission that could have very well cost her her life, but commissions like those paid a hefty amount of coin, so she never minded the danger all that much. It was fun, it paid well, and usually it kept her from getting bored half to death.

After all, you can't get bored when you always have to be on guard and extremely careful with every movement you make in case someone is following you, or you know, there are ruin hunters nearby that seem to be itching for a fight.

I mean, they can't really ich since, nevermind, im sure you get what i mean.

But since she didn't have that kind of money to toss around at the moment, she just had to get by by either collecting ingredients she found out in the wild while on a journey, or buy them from that shop next to the teleporter.

Second life, was it?

She was never good with remembering names, of any kind.

Ayame was never the best cook. She could make a few of the easier dishes sure, but that didn't mean they would taste amazing. Somehow, someway, she manages to burn even water, and that's worrying to say the least.

Careful not to trip on the strairs, she began walking with the slightly torn paper in her hand. By that point, she knew Liyue well enough where she didn't really need a map to get around, but considering her awful tendency of getting lost literally everywhere she went because she couldn't follow directions for the life of her, she made sure to keep a small, worn out map in her pocket, just to be sure.

She was tracing the paths on her map, trying to figure out which one would take her to her destination the fastest. This mission would last about two, or maybe three days, so, she had to make sure she had an escape plan ready.

If she was out up in some mountain or stranded in some tiny island out in god knows where, no one would come help her, and even if they did, it would probably be too late by the time they actually get there. So, Ayame, being the paranoid person she is, made sure to always have an escape route at the ready in case something went wrong and she had to make a run for it.

Those times where few, she knew she could count them on one hand, but she never spoke of them. Even when she got so drunk she talked about everything she could think of, like stories she heard while traveling around, myths and legends of far away lands, a few cooking recipes that didn't really make sense, and hell, even how annoying a guy named Dell was.

Apparently, she met him in a tavern somewhere, and he wouldn't stop bothering her, so Ayame, like the sane, logical person she is, cursed him so every time he annoyed her, or you know, talk to her, he'd fall asleep for a few moments, just enough for Ayame to leave.

That happened for about two out of the seven days she stayed there, and after she left... she uh, never whent back to that tavern, or that town in general.

The sun was high up in the sky, it's rays warm and gentle, a beautiful, soft gold color, one Ayame really loved. Few clouds drifted peacefully, but those too soon left. Lost in her thoughts, Ayame didn't hear the footsteps coming closer and closer to her until a hand on her shoulder caused her to slighty turn her head to the side in order to see who it was.

"Hm?"

It took her a second, but she recognized the person pretty quickly for being fast asleep just a few minutes ago.

"Oh hey Childe, what's up?"

She yawned, clearly missing her bed and her soft pillow and comfy blanket and-

Ahem.

"Tired?"

He asked, and Ayame could clearly hear the teasing tone he hopelessly tried to hide.

"It's 8 in the morning on a sunday, what did you expect me to be?"

She looked sleepy, her hair was a bit messier than usual and the bags under her eyes a tad darker, tiny details childe quickly picked up on.

"Oh? Then why are you up, then?"

He smiled at her, clearly looking for an opportunity to ruin her day.

"You've been breathing down my neck for the past 5 minutes. I'm sure you've already figured out why."

She flashed a tired smirk at him, earning a small chuckle from the tall man in return.

They walked in silence for a few minutes, Ayame's eyes moving from whatever caught her attention one second, to the next the other. Still, with her gaze focused on a pretty blue butterfly, and away from him, she spoke again.

"Hey don't you have like, literally anything else to do? Or are you going to follow me around all day?"

"Oh come on! I just want to help you out!"

Childe defended himself, or well, tried to. Either way the mood was pretty light, friendly jabs and jokes here and there, never getting too bitter or hurtful, but still extremely annoying.

"Oh? Is that so?"

The pale girl asked, her hair swaying in the light breeze.

"Hm? You don't believe me?"

"No, not really."

"And why's that?"

"You see, i want to reduce the possibility of me ending up with an arrow through my chest as much as possible, and having you follow me around kind of..."

She paused for a second, looking him dead in the eye with a smile.

"Doesn't help out my plan."

She saw a small flash of shock and maybe...something else appear in Childe's eyes, but as soon as it came it was long gone, not even leaving a single trace behind of its short lived existence.

And that's when she knew her words got to him. Yeah, he tried to hide it, but he wasn't fast enough, and now, Ayame thanked the heavens for making her get up, because today sure was gonna be fun.

He smiled after a long second, turning to fully face Ayame. She looked up at him, ocean blue eyes met bored brown ones and in that second, it almost felt as if Ayame was challenging him.

"Give me one good reason as to why i should let you come with me, and i will."

She smirked again, but this time it was clear on her face that she was enjoying this.

Ferdinand and Hubert - A case study in Comparisons and Contrasts

So they don’t get along at all before the time skip, but afterwards, their A support opens with them sharing hot beverages together with all the chill in the world - how did that happen?

In this Essay, I will -

So even at the most simple surface-level one sees why those two would clash at once. Right away, Ferdinand’s always trying to one-up Edelgard, and Hubert is her loyal underling.

But it goes much deeper than just their opinion of Edelgard - in many ways, they are very different men.  Ferdinand starts out with an oblivious naivety that later morphs into more well-founded optimism, Hubert, meanwhile, is cynical and jaded and very serious despite his relative youth. Ferdie’s extravagant, attention grabbing and expressive (though as evidence in his support with caspar and his comments re: Dimitri, he values collectedness and restraint to an extent) and enjoys the finer things of life,  whereas Hubert is dispassionate, spartan, humble and not much for material comforts.  Ferdinand’s worrying about wether he’ll be able to make a name for himself; Hubert’s quite content to work from behind the scenes.

Because of those differences, they completely misunderstand each other upon first contact, but that disdain is also linked to their values and virtues, and this is where they can learn from each other.

As at this point it’s still open wether Ferdinand will side with Edelgard & Hubert or turn against them, the B support end on a semi hostile note, but by the end of it they’ve learned that the other is nothing like their initial misconception.

In his C support with Edelgard Hubert mentions that he views a lot of his fellow nobles as spoiled, corrupt and inconsequential. The empire is full of corrupt, arrogant greedy bastards who think of nothing but themselves and live in excess and Hubert finds those pretty disgusting, which is why he’s on board with Edelgard’s plan to get rid of corruption and establish a meritocracy.  He calls people he doesn’t like “degenerates” or “inconsequential” which gives us an indication of what he finds contemptible.

Since he talks a lot about his noble obligations and seems to vye for attention, Hubert’s first impression of Ferdinand is that he’s one of those - greedy arrogant and obsessed with the superficial/ his own ego, just like his father.

But Ferdinand isn’t actually like that. He may have naively repeated some of the arrogant things his father taught him, but he’s well aware that his old man is greedy and corrupt, and as per his goddess tower event, was thinking to depose him himself if Edelgard hadn’t beaten him to it.  He’s not just talking the talk - he’s determined to also walk the walk and live up to the hype, to actually be elite and live up to the obligations of his title. He’s not trying to backstab Edelgard or put her down, rather he thinks he’ll make a pretty useless prime minister if he can’t keep up with her or offer useful feedback, which includes constructive criticism and balancing her out

And they do indeed end up having plenty of constructive debate if he sticks with her, resulting for example in Ferdinand’s education plan. As far as Edelgard is concerned, Hubert’s useful to her because he’s likeminded, and Ferdinand’s useful because he thinks differently - being a traditionalist and, as we learn in his Marianne support, a believer, and also an optimist and good communicator. to the Black Eagle Strike force what Togusa is to Section Nine.   But this could only happen after the holy tomb scene, when Edelgard and Hubert know that they can trust him - had they involved him earlier he might’ve warned them against, well, making themselves look guilty. But they have good reasons for not being trusting given their formative experiences...

Likewise, Ferdinand, who constantly tries to better himself and prides himself of being independent-minded doesn’t like Hubert at first because he believes him to be a lackey without a mind of his own. But that’s not the case either. He follows Edelgard out of conviction, (a shared dream, as dorothea puts it) not blind obedience. They are very like-minded, seeing as they are both unsentimental, nontraditional, reason-driven and none too fond of organized religion, he’s on board with her cause and in awe of her as a leader - but since it’s both their cause that he also wants, he sometimes has different ideas on what’s the best way to accomplish it. Their views subtly differ on a couple of fronts - She prefers more direct tactics and would probably find more appeal in ordinary things if she felt she had the liberty; Both are curious but it’s a stronger force for her. He’s markedly more cautious and less merciful than Edelgard, and harsher in his condemnation of the faith. They both expect Byleth to betray them but where Edelgard is wistful about it Hubert’s suspicious af. They probably give each other plenty of cause for worry.

(Unlike Dedue, who says to Felix that he’ll do whatever if Dimitri commands it, even if he is at times clearly uncomfortable - though of course to be fair to him, this is basically his coping mechanism after his family was killed, and it doesn’t mean that he doesn’t admire Dimitri as a person or believe he’ll be a good leader who will bring equality for his people; They’d very much like to just be nornal friends, but feel they can’t with the world as it is. )

So Ferdinand certainly sees that once he notices that Hubert interprets his orders rather liberally at times; It’s not that Hubert never disagrees with Edelgard, it’s that he just acts at his own discretion rather than debate because he thinks she’s got enough responsibilities to worry about, and that it’s insignificant details after all (he also discusses this is further detail with Shamir) - He doesn’t mind being the fall guy, because she’s the one who’s the princess and thus has a reputation to maintain. Ppl think he’s scary anyway, and while he has a tad of a complex about it he’s mostly accepted it and made it work for him - after all, Edelgard knows he’s trustworthy. And wouldn’t leave things to his discretion of their visions diverged that much.

But Ferdinand can’t quite approve of that either, because disagreeing and essentially going behind someone’s back are two pairs of shoes - As far as he’s concerned the point of debate is not simply to disagree but to refine ideas by working on them together. He admits that sometimes he talks with Edelgard and finds out that he was wrong.

But they find a commonality here which is that though they may not look it both are actually appreciative of other people’s viewpoints and virtues. Hubert actually brings up the other Black Eagles’ good qualities quite a bit in his supports, for all that he also plays the taskmaster, and Ferdinand generally takes constructive criticism like a pro. Whenever someone reacts negatively to him, he doesn’t get butthurt but generally goes extraordinary lenghts to prove himself (Marianne, Mercedes, Dorothea and Bernadetta being good examples)

On a related note they also both value objectivity and composure, something that comes up in their A support.

So once the Holy tomb scene happens and they decide to start trusting each other, the foundation is laid for them to learn from each other.

But let’s take a step back at look at how the two came to be how and where they are, at the core of what motivates them.

Because while they reacted somewhat differently to it, when you get down to it, they come from the same situation and want the same things.

What they want is to do something significant and meaningful with their lives. And their situation is -  they learned early that the world in which they’re looking to find meaning and significance is full of fakery and rottenness, chiefly because their fathers are crooks.

With Ferdinand it’s pretty apparent that he wants to amount to something with how he always pushed himself to be extraordinary and virtuous. Here and there he gets some lines about going down in legend but it’s more than just wanting fame - on memorable occasion is the Marianne support where he says that he believes that all people are here for a purpose and people should look for something only they can do. And if you marry him (to Byleth)? Well first it’s the cutest thing ever, he gets the gaudiest wedding ring and flat out faints from happiness. So cute. But most tellingly, later on in his support chain with Byleth we find out that he seriously worries about wether anything will remain of him and his efforts will amount to anything in the grand sheme of things.

Hubert is subtler, but when Edelgard has this little moment of feeling sorry that she dragged him into this/ worrying that she may have kept him from the normal life he might otherwise have had, he tells her that he’s in fact grateful that she gave him the chance to actually do something meaningful with his life instead of being yet another spoiled brat - he also says something similar to Dorothea. He’s simply the sort of person who likes to be part of something greater than himself - As he tells Byleth in their A support, humans have short lives, and that's part of what makes them aspire to greatness and try to effect meaningful changes in their lifetimes, though by that point he’s less pessimistic than during his academy days and says that if he hadn’t run into Edelgard he might’ve found some other meaningful thing to do with himself, like for example work with Byleth, whose heroic charisma he wasn’t entirely immune to in the end.

Though not at all a merciful man, he’s not without standards - He disdains corruption, is the sort of non-believer who just couldn’t get past the problem of evil and at one point tells Linhard that they couldn’t be friends if he [Linny] truly were as apathetic as he claimed to be.

From how he brings up his family’s tradition in a semi-proud way sometimes, one upon a time, that might’ve been where he found that sense of purpose. Being part of a 1000 year legacy sounds cool. But then his father would one day backstab the same people that he once told Hubert to protect with his life - and though I can#t imagine that his natural disposition was ever too enthusiastic or cheery, this is probably the moment where he realized that a lot of this talk about “the empire’s illustrious history” was just that, talk. That it’s all fake. Self-serving lip-service. When he goes chasing after Arundel and Edelgard in accordance to what he’s been told, his dad unceremoniously collects him.  This was probably a formative experience that contributed to his irreverent, cynical and unsentimental outlook - a catalyst in his coming to the conclusion that it’s all fake, and that most of his peers are spoiled, rotten, decadent and pointless.  

Then one day, Edelgard appears before him again and tells him she wants to tear down that rotten world they live in, that he, perhaps, resigned himself to living in, and from that moment he was all in and never looked back

Ferdinand meanwhile had a different response to all the fakery and corruption in the world (and in Adrestia in particular) - If others were fake then he was going to be the real thing. Instead of declaring the whole thing bullshit because he eventually noticed that his father wasn’t all that great, he decided that he was actually going to live up to the ideal to live up to and be worthy of the hype.

His dad clearly tried to raise him with an elbow mentality and probably even told him that he must beat the princess and make her his bitch, but it all bounced his inherent goodness like teflon. He wasn’t satisfied just going around claiming that he’s great, but wanted to actually be great and maybe he felt some pressure to archieve there but he never was the slightest bit mean or petty or even truly arrogant toward anyone. naive or insensitive perhaps but he never put anyone down, he’s earnest and pure to a fault. I must stress that he faints from happiness if you propose to him and buys you the gaudiest ring ever. Also seems to have been a total romantic in his other paired endings, what. a. cute. He must take after his mother, clearly.

Somewhere the other end of the “My father is a crook” reaction spectrum you find Lorenz. Unlike Ferdinand who’s just a bit naive but deeply and fundamentally good, Lorenz had a bit more genuine arrogance, immaturity and callousness going on, at least early on, and he’s a lot more self-interested though he was always ultimately virtuous, political-minded and motivated by caution. Lorenz too knows his father’s a crook, or at least ‘respectfully disagrees with him’, but at the same time you can tell that as far as he’s concerned that’s still his father. He’s clearly happy to get his approval when he’s trusted with the family relic, and tries to protect him, be it by fighting in his stead, propositioning Edelgard for mercy if he’s recruited to the empire... though in the GD route he will conveniently “forget” to tell the old man about Claude’s plan once he starts believing that Claude will win, he’s got no illusions about his competence.

Hubert of course is on the other extreme, the man was pretty much dead to him the moment he turned traitor and it’s heavily implied that he ordered that he ordered the hit on his father at his own discretion (everyone else, including the Prime minister who was the main culprit, is just jailed. Actually very civilized of Edelgard, didn’t expect that in a medieval setting. Yet Hubert’s father is the one who gets the axe, which i take to mean that he did this on his own account.  - because if Edelgard was gonna kill just one it woul’ve been the one she hated the most. That seems like she left it up to Hubert and he was like “LESS mercy please!”, or like he made sure the guy was dead before she could argue) When Hanneman presents him with the idea that ‘ol Vertra senior might’ve had redeeming qualities or mitigating circumstances, Hubert would hear nothing of it. The hate’s transparently personal and his disgust at the sheer treason outweighs everything else.  He sure does loathe a traitor.

Ferdinand’s somewhere in between - he was meaning to actively remove his dad and sorta steeling himself for it and once he’d deposed he acknowledges that he has it coming, but he can’t help but find the punishment a bit harsh after ‘all his father’s hard work for the empire’  (that’s also because he doesn’t know just HOW evil his dad was) - if you have both Lysithea and Ferdinand in your party you get this paralogue in which the PM tries to escape but gets killed by revolting peasants, and though he acknowledges that the bastard deserved it, Ferdinand still cries when he hears the news, and with him in that state, Lysithea can’t bring herself to tell him about the human experimentation either (in part because she knows Arundel to have been the real mastermind) It seems that no matter what faction he winds up in, it’s a constant of the universe that no one can quite bring themselves to break Ferdie’s heart.

Many of the other Black Eagles might’ve been a bit annoyed at him early on but after the timeskip? No one wants to burst his bubble. See also that sad, sad line you get from Dorothea if you recruit her but not him and end up offing him. To think that they started out so antagonistic. Actually, it says a whole lot about Edelgard that she always treated him normally. Like that’s how you know that she really believes in judging people by their own merits.

Ironically Edelgard actually has an evil parent of her own, and Dimitri also decides not to tell her, though this isn’t quite the same because Edelgard never knew Patricia, wasn’t raised by her and never looked up to her, and everything regarding her is super ambiguous anyways On the one hand Dimitri might’ve considered it a low blow to tell her upsetting news right when they were about to fight - on the other hand maybe bringing it up would’ve diverted the conversation in a more fruitful direction...

So given that they’re both actually receptive to constructive input and ultimately out to archieve meaningful things, it’s not so strange that they’d end up amicably sharing hot beverages once the initial misunderstandings were out of the way and they’d somewhat come to value each other’s viewpoints, even if some token hilarious banter remained to the end, because of course it did. The right and left hands of the emperor, since Byleth is, of course, her wings.

As a sidenote,

Though I like most of them, I feel like a bunch of the A supports were a bit of a wasted opportunity/ too concerned with either concluding the previous gimmick/ subplot or pairing the characters up when they could’ve shed a light on the character’s evolution during the timeskip- They’re good scenes, but maybe it would’ve been better to keep the old system where you have an extra rank (S) for the pairup esp. since they knew the timeskip would be happening so we could have a solid scene of them interacting post timeskip that isn’t immediately pairing them up - But the Ferdiand/ Hubert one is a good example of this being done right with how abruptly the support chains it goes from antagonistic to chill - it actually feels like five years have passed.

Many of the Dimitri ones also avert this since his character is so changed, and the Claude/Lorenz one another good example that has a lot going on in it, not only has their previous antagonism largely evaporated but Lorenz has matured, Claude realized that he’s not so bad, and Claude himself is no longer trying to establish himself to seize the Alliance, but in fact getting ready to pack his bags and leave once his work is done.

Tmi / talk about menstruation and iud / venting / but i just wanna get this out, and maybe someone else is in the same boat as me because ive never been able to find any accounts of similar experiences ... I wanna preface this by saying im 26 and have rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia/chronic pain, which is probably related but i dont know how. I normally have super heavy periods and debilitating cramps, along with discomfort during penetration (or similar activities) on some occasions. Ive tried a couple different birth control options over the years and each one has given me constant cramping. Its weird because the cramping on the pill (2 or 3 different kinds of BC pills in different times of my life) and depoprovera shot were the same in that i would get terrible cramps whenever i did any kind of activity but especially when i stand up from a sitting position. I remember being in college and standing up and having to immediately sit back down hunched over until it passed. I got the depo shot a few months ago and it was the worst thing ever. I had severe cramping with all kinds of movement (and havent been able to even touch myself without setting off the cramps) and after a month of it i started bleeding for a month straight until a doctor gave me estrogen pills on top of it to stop the bleeding. The pills stopped the bleeding but not the cramps, so the plan was for me to wait it out and try an iud next since the medicine would be administered locally instead of by pill or shot through my whole body.... three months during the depo shot i could not exercise or do any physical activity, which of course is making my fibromyalgia and mood worse. I feel like ive lost a whole year to the depo shot, on top of other health problems that have been acting up before the depo. It sucked and im not trying it again. I had about 2 weeks until the mirena iud insertion where i was taking the estrogen pills and still cramping (along with getting a full heavy and bad cramping period during the vitamin-pill week while i waited for the prescription to come in. The cramping was so bad i almost wanted to go to the emergency room, but it lessened by the next day even if i was still going through so many pads.) Before the iud insertion i took a pill the night before which the doctor said could help loosen up my organ to allow for easier insertion since ive never had a kid. I knew i could expect a lot of pain given how sensitive i know i am, but the few people ive heard get them said it was only really painful during and they were fine after, so i figure i could be strong and deal with it if its going to help stop my monthly cramping and bleeding. Turns out the insertion was the worst pain ive ever felt in my life. Normally having a speculum put in already puts me in considerable pain (a speculum feels like a shard of glass shoved in me) but it pales in comparison to getting the iud. I was crying out and struggling to stay still during the proceedure but once it was over i hoped it would start to feel better. It burned with pain and still does days later. I didnt realise i would get severe cramping immediately after the insertion, but i could barely stand up. The doctors had to let me stay in the room for like a half hour before i could limp back to the car. Im lucky i had my mom to drive me home because i could still barely breathe it hurt so badly. I took tylenol about a half hour before the proceedure but i dont think it did anything. I couldnt take advil because of other medicines im taking. So the only other thing i could do is lay there screaming in pain with the heating pad pressed on me. A few hours later my mom had to call an on-call doctor from the same hospital and he said to go to the er so we went. The rest of the night is kind of blurry i was in so much pain and could barely think. The er gave me a painkiller and later a muscle relaxant before telling me i have to stop my other meds so i can take advil. I was there for like 6 hours i think, feeling waves of terrible cramps that feel like a knife is slicing the inside of me - the same feeling as the iud insertion. I feel bad for everyone who had to hear me screaming every 10 minutes and my mom who had to stay with me. The doctors kicked me out immediately after giving me advil and i went home barely able to even walk or move. It took me another 2 hours to manage to fall asleep even though i was so exhausted and had the worst chest and body pain from being so tense at experiencing the worst pain of my life. Nornally, if unmedicated, ill get periods so bad im screaming in pain, but it will only last 1-2 hours until the advil or tylenol kicks in and dulls it down to a bearable ache, so this iud was supposed to be my fall back on options to eliminate cramps. (I really wish the doctor would just let me get a hysterectomy i dont ever want kids and this whole situation is giving me severe gender dysphoria) Yesterday i spent the whole day sleeping off my traumatic er experience and today im still getting really horrible waves of cramping and nausea. Thankfully im not bleeding (...yet?) But it still feels like having a tampon being yanked out of me that wont come out. The knife feeling isnt there so im not screaming, but the cramps are still so bad and i dont know if i need to take it out. The er doctor said to take it out if the advil doesnt help, and that this is most likely anxiety making the pain get out of control. The er nurse said this is normal. Like??? How the fuck to people deal with this im scared about taking it out because thats probably going to hurt even more. I forgot to ask my prescribing doctor if theres a risk for toxic shock or something but like i dont have a fever its just so painful feeling it there. The placement is "right" according to the ultrasounds but it hurts so much and is still giving me cramps I really dont know how anyone could deal with this the whole thing is so upsetting i want it out but i dont want to deal with the proceedure to get it out and that same severe cramping i dont think theyll allow it to be a surgical removal but i wont be able to sit there and deal with it again!!!! Just thinking about all of it is giving me more anxiety too, i have such dysphoria about my internal organs and such a terrible phobia about even having them!!! This amount of cramping should not fucking be "normal" i hate being invalidated at the er like that God i just dont know what to do the cramping is so bad and im still scared of getting an ulcer from the advil. Thats another thing. A year ago i got an ulcer from taking advil because of period cramps, so ive been suffering taking tylenol! Thats why i want a BC that works to get rid of cramps and bleeding!! Now here i am with the worst cramps and bloating of my life!! How am i expected to function like this!!! I dont remember half of the past few days because ive been in so much pain!!! I can only hope this gets better because it feels worse today than it did yesterday, even if its not as bad as the day before when i had the insertion done. The doctor said if im still having the same kind of cramps ive been getting with the other types of birth control after a month i can look into other options (hopefully hysterectomy!!) But thats so far away and i havent been able to practise driving or apply to any jobs because i cant fucking do more than sit or lie down because of the god damn cramps Ive lost like all my personality and enjoyment of life and lost any one i could call a friend because this is consuming me and i cant fucking do anything i hate it i just want something to go right for once i want to be able to exercise again i love exercising and i havent been able to go for a walk without getting winded and severe cramping I cant even find other people that get cramping on birth control when standing up or doing activities so i dont know why this is happening to me ive looked everywhere i can and all i get is dysphoria because """"mensutruation is a womens health problem"""" and my phobia of pregnancy makes it impossible to browse forums I dont know what my point to all this is i just really need to vent because i feel so alone with this specific problem Life sucks and then you die i guess lmao

Annon-Guy: On note of the previous anon, does Sol have new normal attacks? I noticed he uses his fists more often in the new trailer instead of his new Fireseal/Junkyard Dog, only pulling out for his special attacks and a few nornal attacks?

Daisuke Ishiwatari tends to use Sol as a “base” for his new ideas, so if a character’s combo is supposed to flow easily from one attack to the next (in and out of special attacks and other normals of varying attack levels), Sol would probably be the ideal character to test such a mechanic on.

This, “sortof” worked out well enough in GG2 Overture, but at the same time most people weren’t used to the “left-right” perspective shift that you have to deal with in GG2 (i.e. Sol has a left flame slash and a right flame slash, but how he uses them in combos is up to the player and the environment).

That and GG2 resources are a pain the neck to implement in a combo in that game (Special moves cost Tension basically).

Thinking forwards to this game though, Sol getting additional hits per “Punch/Kick” input sounds reasonable for what they’re trying to do, but interweaving it in to “Slash/HeavySlash/Dust/Sweep” sounds like it’s not something that will apply for every character.

For example: Sol’s usual Gatling route is:  P>2P>K>2K>clS>frS>2S>H>2H>D or 2D

In some cases you can mix in 6P or 6H, depending on the character.

Millia Rage’s Gatling route would be something like:

K>2K>clS>2H or 5H> in to a launcher or 2D sweep.

If the game’s combos are going to be more fluid in nature, character combo routes are going to have to execute in ways that transcend the usual spacing issues that auto-combos typically generate.

For example, I have a very hard time picturing Axl Low’ s combos in this new engine, simply because Axl uses his range to combo... and having that “flow easily” sounds like a challenge.

Even if he used a variant of his Sparrowhawk stance, it still has to implement a certain amount of power for certain attack level hits (i.e. how will Axl transition from one area of the stage to the next during Dust attacks at long range for example?, assuming he can at all?)

This all takes me back to the “insanity” that is GG1: in GG1 (the first Guilty Gear), just about anything could generate a Dust attack on Counterhit, leading to homing jumps... so I mean, they could take a few more cues from the first game at this rate...

Well, I can’t really fathom it any more until I see more.

Everything is labelled and such bc I planned to be more formal about this. But nah! This drawing is very old.

Basically, the reason why there is a bunch of face pictures is because in aTFAUomo, no one cares about faces. No one cares if you have one eye or two or ten or none. Same with noses and mouths. On Cybertron, most bots don’t have a “face” as humans see it, most have either A or B faces.. Bots eat with tentacle like appendages that spring from their back, as shown with figure J (which is technically an Insecticon, but more on what that is on another post). The only reason why one would have a “face” is because they either travel around the galaxy a lot, like following fads, or work in entertrainment. Figures e and f do so. Figures G, H and I show exceptions. Figure H is from a Cybertronian colony where “faces” is what everyone has. Figure G is a Predacon that has a mouth. Figure I has two heads with “faces”.

Figure C and D just shows that bots can change their appearance if they want, D being the original form as a bean, C being the altered form. Changing appearances can give power, but its mostly just for aesthetics. Most bots will have altered their original form bc aesthetic.

Cybertronians can not directly communicate with non-Cybertronians. They need translation devices and training to do so. They communicate to another in what can be called either a “lasagna” or “rainbow” of waves. Each bot emits a mass amount of waves to communicate different things to different people.

Every bot shows emotions with a “sparkwave” a wave that emits horizontally from the spark to others. These waves vary in size and shape depending on the emotion. They can emit many of these lines to anyone. These waves and lines are not visible and technically do not exist, but it makes ir easier to talk to you all about.

The dashed waves shown are profile waves. Every Cybertronian has a profile they make which tells everyone about them. They are always logged on into a system hosted by the city they are in so the city recognizes them and can warp its infrastructure to needed sizes and accomodations. It would be too much for every bot to know everyone’s profile all at once, so these can be directed to certain people.

The smooth wave indicates space. Some bots need more space than others. Some bots are too small to see from diffrrent angles such as from under big robot bobbies cough shockwave boobies can be “told” ahead of time. Bots can feel these waves and move if needed, such as in traffic.

The wavy lines indicate speech. Cybertronians do not talk and hear another from air or anything. They speak directly to one’s system by pinpointing who they want to “hear” them. These words are not given nuances or inflection, hence why sparkwaves are important.

To organic life forms, Cybertronians appear to be boring and emotionless, as translation device can not register the complexity of their communication. Plus, Cybertronians tend to not have a lot of body language at all. When translated, they seem scatterbrained bc they have conversations going on all at once. But this is nornal for them and they emote just as anyone else does.

I complain abt a lack of size difference in Transformers but…yeah this is what I think of size differences in my own version of Transformers. (geez this is such an old drawing back when I was trying to force a cute style, yikes)

Ratbat tier are casseticons. Cosmos tier are those bots who are g1 Bumblebee size. Perceptor tier are g1 car transformer size like Prowl and Beachcomber. Soundwave tier are cars on the bigger side like Springer and Bulkhead. Megatron tier are quite small to most Decepticons. Strika tier (imagine I drew the line) are Seeker size or tank size, most cons are here. Tesarus tier and Skyfire tier are really mostly transport alt modes, Roadbuster and Ultra Magnus reaching Tesarus tier, Overlord and Astrotrain reaching Skyfire tier. Omega Supreme tier are Guardian Bots. OS tier to a citybot are as Soundwave is to Skyfire. Citybot tier to Cybertron are as Strika is to OS. Combiner teams together are not much larger than Skyfire.

Somehow the size differences work out. A lot of stuff differ from humans, as I think Cybrertronians wouldnt be violent or judgy or selfish as humans are. Tech is advanced too, as cities warp and change according to their inhabitants. Cybertronians are giant alien robots, I believe in them.

I realise this must be somewhat vague for people. Cybertronian sizes arent clean cut, not everyone of one alt mode will end up a certain size.I have feet measurements for the tiers, but eh. Just know that Ratbat tier is like 6ft.

Schools are out for the summer for many reasons. But also because school shootings are planned by many. So its safest they remain closed.

I hear things about the quality of mental status is down for children because school is closed. That is the parent's fault, first off.

Secondly the amount of school shootings planned would have reached historical highs.

Schools that are open have a specialised alarm system within the SMS: BrightGady. And are taken extremely seriously.

No one who has been suspect of breaking a law according to BrightGady is allowed within a miles of school without being checked thoroughly.

If they live near or their child attends school, there are modifications to the alarm. However the alarm will set.

If a suspect lives within a mile of a school, then his/her normal patterns are evaluated and so alerts are set for changes in the patterns.

If suddenly they begin to drive in the direction of the school but never do, the police will pull them over immediately.

If nornally they drive near the school that is in session, an officer is dispatched immediately to the school in order to intercept the individual and be visible (in some cases hidden) to the suspect.

Many times a CIA or FBI Will move in nearby if they feel it is a super high risk.

Also since school is not in session in the USA for the many, BrightGady has alerts and alarms set for people going onto school grounds

So none of this taking a teacher hostage bull shit because you waited in the parking lot for him/her. So,you could go plant bombs

BrightGady has every criminal marked, even if they have never been caught.

Quite simple a police report was made and BrightGady traced the ass of the criminal to the point where he/she could be identified

For example, they buy beer, their ID is swiped and they use cash. They go to the local grocery chain and use their credit card in 2010 and it was recorded to VISA or MasterCard or American Express and so on. And then they used their card also at the gas station. Well the two times They used their credit card, they were not seen but it was the only time the same credit card was used matching to the same time a person was seen going in according to the satellite.

So everyone is identified and labeled. And we labeled children by going to the doctor. For their safety if they are kidnapped for the 99% of the time.

Only about 4% of the population can be accessed globally by any one person and they are all 100% criminals and are risks to all of mankind and humanity.

The rest are stored only for safety and to retrieve the person for safety issues. We will NOT use it for Contact Tracing. You know you're at risk to go out. So personally id rather not know I was gonna die. Personally I write enough scary shit as it is. I don't need my safety system scaring people, too.

Because someone sat in the same building as you doesn't mean you're going to get sick. So why spend that 10 days scared or constantly testing?

I do have another satellite system used for that reason but i don't see a reason unless a government requests it. And if so they have mild requirements to use it such as at home test kits that doesn't go 8 inches up the nose to touch the brain. Which we do have DNA4U. Thus no reason to use SMS:ContactlessContraction. People can test If they want to know. Its formally for new diseases that are not a global epidemic. And there's an entire new testing kit almost exactly like DNA4U but pink that comes with an app that shows on the map exactly where you been and who you got sick. And who was sick there with you.

But right now the world is uncontrolled with rage and I'm not putting that in people's hands that can't control themselves to go to the fucking store and not break people's arms or wipe snot on other people.

I'm just not. It doesn't show that but some stupid ass hole is gonna go shoot up Buffaloo Corall because his fat ass ate there and got COVID. Taokaka

Taokaka (タオカカ) is a Kaka and the guardian of the village where the majority of her species resides underneath the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi. She temporarily relinquished her position as guardian to aid Ragna the Bloodedge and has unbelievably keen senses despite her juvenile behavior and mindset.

Personality: 

Innocent and capricious, Taokaka is the owner of a pure heart… And as such, she never listens to people’s words, and judges by appearance alone. Within her hides a capability to become unparalleled.[2][3]

Her hyperactive behavior and incredible ability to almost forget anything would lead people to assume that Tao isn’t a threat, but her carefree personality has her always itching to “play.“ Tao’s forgetfulness often drives characters to their breaking points as she will never remember a name, and forget even the most basic things about the world around her. In fact, the only things that seem to really matter in Tao’s mind are food, naps, and breasts – the first two could be attributed to her cat-like instincts while the latter is a fascination which she seems to be only one in her clan to possess. Her speech is littered with verbal ticks such as “meow” (as a substitute for ‘me’) and “neow” (as a substitute for ‘now’), although other Kaka, such as Chachakaka, also possess this trait, a select few, like Torakaka, rarely display it.

With her dim-witted nature comes the fact that Tao is undoubtedly innocent, having no real knowledge of what is right or wrong and simply doing what she wants. Although this is unpleasant to certain individuals, she has no negative intent. In fact, she will usually go out of her way to make others feel better, especially with Ragna. This all said, she is merciless to those who harm those close to her, such as Arakune.

Side Note: Tao often gives people nicknames to remember them better. Like she calls Ragna “Good Guy” (because he got her food), Noel “Lacking Lady” (because Tao groped her and was dissapointed by her bust) and Him as “Creepy Guy” (because of his obssesion with Ragna) or “Ice Man” and most notabaly, she calls her good friend, Litchi Faye-Ling “Boogie Lady” (because she has big breasts) and Bullet “Butt Lady” (Because she wears low shorts). Tao also likes to grab the breasts on any new girl she meets (Doesn’t matter who it is, but I think Marta, Colette, Raine, Sheena and Presea would NOT like Tao doing that to them. Not even Alice if she was still alive would like that.) 

The Kaka Clan are a group of cat-type beastkin genetically created from the DNA of their progenitor, Jubei (who Tao calls “Cat-Person” and is related to them). Sadly, only a 100 Kaka can exist at a time.

Drive Ability: Dancing Edge - This allows Tao to move, charge, and attack at high speeds.

Valkenhayn R. Hellsing

Valkenhayn R. Hellsing (ヴァルケンハイン＝R＝ヘルシング), sometimes known as the Silver Wolf, is the eternally loyal servant of Rachel Alucard. He is one of the Six Heroes who fought against the Black Beast during the Dark War and a former Immortal Breaker, having worked with Relius Clover in his youth. After being saved by Clavis Alucard, Valkenhayn swore his loyalty to the Alucard Clan, keeping his oath for over a century.

Personality: 

A gentleman through and through. Valkenhayn is the ultimate butler who follows his mistress’ every wish, and knows Rachel as well as she knows herself. He is frequently seen preparing her tea and pastries, and is eager to lend his ear to her. He disapproves of Ragna the Bloodedge, finding him to be a distasteful individual who frequently gets on his master’s nerves. Unlike both Nago and Gii, Valkenhayn is never seen taking the brunt of Rachel’s wrath. Valkenhayn has an immense amount of respect to the Alucard Clan, and owes his life to Clavis. This is how he found himself in the vampire’s employment, but it is not out of this promise that he still serves the clan to this day. His loyalty is not to the clan but to Rachel herself, arguably being her closest friend and confidant. For over 50 years he stood by her bedside as she rested to gain power, taking care of the entire Alucard residence by himself.

In the Dark War, Valkenhayn was cold and distant to anyone who was not an Alucard. However, he was not unapproachable, and would offer advice to his comrades during the darkest times of the war. Regardless of his loyalty to the other Six Heroes, Valkenhayn’s loyalty ultimately remained with the Alucard’s, and he disappeared immediately after the war ended. As a young mercenary in the Immortal Breakers, Valkenhayn had yet to cultivate his loyalty and dignified grace. He was an angry young man who was always rearing to fight and even kill - his only reason for joining the group was to fight those with the strongest of souls.[5] This attitude of his rarely surfaces in Valkenhayn’s old age, but to those who threaten Rachel, he turns from a mild-mannered butler into an unstoppable machine.

As an older gentleman, Valkenhayn keeps up good relations with numerous individuals, such as Torakaka, Jubei, and Bang Shishigami. He is willing to impart pearls of wisdom to others, and is always ready to help please his fans, such as Iron Tager.[6] Relius is one of Valkenhayn’s greatest enemies, although the reason for their personal vendetta remains unknown. Valkenhayn also greatly misses Clavis, and wishes that he could bring him back to life.[7]

Side Note: Clavis Alucard is Rachel’s father and sadly died of old age as mention in the bio. In the BBTAG timeline, Clavis created System (the main villain of that game) as it didn’t happen in the main BlazBlue timeline (there are five main timelines in the BlazBlue series. The original BlazBlue timeline, the main current BlazBlue timeline, the Bloodedge Experience timeline where Naoto K. is from, the XBlaze time where the original Es came from, and the BBTAG timeline where the crossover occurs).

The pink bow he wears is a gift from Rachel.

Valkenhayn is a werewolf-type beastkin or a Lycanthrope-Type if you want to be technical.

Drive Ability: Werwolf - Allows him to transform into an actual quadruped wolf 🐺, giving him incredible speed and agility he doesn’t nornally have in his human form at the cost of not being able to guard and block attacks. His Astral Heat also has him transform into a humanoid-wolf hybrid, which occurs when unleashing his full strength.

23 week baby.

The week leading up to my son's birth I was having an imense amount of vaginal discharge, being a first time mom, i didnt know what was nornal or not, so i just went along and started wearing an adult diaper, it was a quick solution to something that should have been a huge sign of distress. Tuesday I felt a pressure, thought I had to poop, was chillen in the rr with my phone but nothing, I did get a weird pressure in my vagina, did some (finger) investigating and I felt a weird bubble up in there, got super scared, told my mom she told me to lie down and she called the doctor, he didn't answer, but we left a voicemail, she was gonna take me to the er. but the pressure and the bubble weren't there anymore so I didn't worry to much, we left it at that considering I had a doctor's appointment the Wednesday coming (the he day after the bubble feeling). I went all day Wednesday regularly, no pain, no pressure, normal day, went to the doctor and got told everything I was feeling was normal, basically i was dismissed. Told me the baby was probably just sitting low or putting pressure on my lower abdomen, and that was probably what I felt the Tuesday before, or it could be my vaginal walls getting ready for birth, but she never actually checked, just very dismissive, " oh that's normal, oh this and that, we'll give you antibiotics"...I honestly thought okay, she's a doctor she knows what's up, I accepted everything she told me. Thursday went on, nothing going throughout the day, but at night I felt the same pressure and the same inside vagina bubble. Didn't think anything of it, considering she had told me it was normal, went to bed. At 2 am I wake up with a terrible pain, I had been constipsted for a few days, so I just thought it was a bowel hurting my intestines went to the rr, pooped, thought that was it, the pain was gone. Went back to bed, i woke up because i felt like i had peed the bed, but i thought it was the same discharge i was having, i got up, showered, changed the sheets and dismissed it. Got ready for work, thinking nothing really, still keeping in mind I hadn't pooped much that week. Went to work, pain started getting worse and closer together, told my coworkers they told me to stretch so I did, after a while they were so bad I was crying and had some blood, so they made me go to the er. At the er. I told them about wednesday doctors appt they basically were like "oh okay" well give you meds for your pain and for the vagina infection, that you might have and that was almost it. But I told the er doc about the Tues/Thurs vagina bubble and he worried a little and I explained that I was wearing a diaper because I felt so much discharge so his face kinda changed he said he was gonna check me out. Put in a medicated q.tip kind of thing, it came out a weird black colour which indicated amniotic fluid, he put on gloves and checked my vagina and realized I was 6 cm dilated and had possibly been in labor since Tuesday. The bubble I had felt was sterlings sac. My son was born at 23 weeks, exactly.
