~ Mary Walker aka Typhoid Mary aka Bloody Mary ~
She is schizophrenic, telekinetic, telepathic, and a pyrotechnic. Mary is also skilled with various weapons, including swords and guns. She was also an actress at one point in early adulthood. Mary has history with Daredevil, Kingpin, Wolverine, Ghost Rider, Deadpool, Spider-Man.
Mary Walker is the kindest soul you have ever met. She is completely innocent, in regard to her other personalities (Typhoid Mary and Bloody Mary). All she wants is to fall in love with a nice man. Daredevil and Wolverine have both tried to help her rid herself of her other personalities, but it won't happen.
Typhoid Mary is street smart and uses men to her advantage, but doesn't necessarily kill them, unless she feels that they deserve it. She will often target convicted women-beaters and torture them for their crimes. When Typhoid encounters a woman who defends the very man who is abusing her, Typhoid leaves the woman to receive what she obviously needs, while making a point to tell said woman that she is both sad and pathetic and deserves all further abuse coming to her.
Bloody Mary kills all men, as she sees any and every man as the sworn enemy of womankind, even heroes that defend women. None of this matters to Bloody Mary. According to her, all men deserve to die, regardless if they are good or evil. She encounters a paradox when she saves an individual named Jessie who identifies as female, but is really a male. Bloody Mary casts Jessie aside for betraying her, despite the fact that she had been protecting Jessie. She asks Jessie how her telepathic powers didn’t inform her of the truth, and Jessie explains it is because he has always felt like a female trapped in a male’s body.
Mary also has a fourth personality that could be described as indifferent to men. Very level headed. Not interested in romantic love.
And in recent comics, the plot thickens even further with additional ones... But these are her 4 classic personas. If you're new to comics, or don't know where to begin, I would recommend any of these books with Typhoid Mary. It's great writing by Ann Nocenti and is very tragic stuff. Typhoid Mary is probably the best comic book "villain" that most casual fans aren't that familiar with.
Check her out. But just don't let her catch you checking her out, depending on who she happens to be at that particular moment of the day.
