Reading the Batman wiki to get a little more insight on things I've heard about in fandom/figure out what comics I need to read is wild because I just glance through an article and the wildest shit will be dropped with no further explanation.

Why are so many people pretending to be other people? Why is everyone faking their death? Why did the wiki feel the need to specify that the batarangs were shaped like an R?

Reading an overview of all these big plot points in the wiki causes the Benny Hill theme to play in my head as there's a rapid fire jump between He's alive! He's Dead! He faked being dead! He's actually dead! He's not actually dead! He's stuck in the time stream!

I know all of this happened over the course of several issues and much slower with much more detail and weight to it all, it's just a delightful whiplash to read the overview in the wiki lol

Because I am back on some very specific bullshit I am ofc also thinking about how Joseph Conrad and Roger Casement met (were very briefly roommates in fact) in the Congo, and seem to have really liked each other. Jokes aside, to answer your question it honestly depends on who you ask. One thing we can all agree on for sure is that these two have clearly sparked A LOT of emotion for different people across the globe. Unfortunately, it hasn’t all been positive [especially for the bpwf characters they play] but I believe overall they have been well received. For one, it’s been exciting to witness the buzz around Tenoch Huerta joining the MCU/ Black Panther family and the change he is making. I personally really enjoy Tenoch & Tish, not only as individuals but their dynamic together.

You can tell there’s a true camaraderie there full of support and respect. Maybe it’s because they feel genuine and authentic as people but there’s an endearing and caring energy to it all. I also just think they’re a quirky pair, which makes their friendship amusing. Of course, I can’t make any real claims of how close they are in real life and all that jazz, but that feels trivial for me to entertain anyways. Needless to say, I really hope they work together again. I don’t know what it is about their acting styles + approach to projects but when they come together on screen, something clicks. And it’s lowkey entertaining to see how much they both piss off racists by purely existing and getting their bag lmao. Gotta love it! I could say 10x more about these two but I’m going to leave it there. Lol

i just. remembered again that i have a fembaru fic but also the premise is. Very Messed Up hah and also it was written before the canon genderbent au with its official genderbend names for everyone so its also outdated on top of that T^T i had like. Genderqueer subtext going on too. but i also wrote this fic like almost two years ago and havent touched it in forever so im unsure if i should go back to it…. o.o but i would love to finish it one day if only for my own satisfaction hah… i had a very detailed outline for ch 2 (its a twoshot) and several scenes written already anyway!! I've giggled to myself a little because Tiny Desk concerts are usually 15-30min (and 30 might be stretching it lol) and you know Joanna's songs... haha

How epic would it be if she just played Only Skin?!! Also, I cannot tell you how many times I have thought about this occurring and the different setlist variations I built in my head lol (and yes these go over time, I'll leave it up to Joanna to decide which song/s she'll take out haha)
