#I've been reminiscing about my older comics#thinking if I should redraw the first one I've ever made because#holy shit that looks like hot garbage#but like#it's still one of my best posts#the whole thing that kickstarted me doing more comics#enjoying bringen stories to life#it's like a piece of my history#its just cool to see how fare I've come as an artist#also like... the first pic was drawn in about 30-40 min at max and the second pic took at least 2 hours if not more#the effort i put into my art has changed so much#i feel so much joy when people laugh at the dum jokes that i make in my art#even back then#all the comments and love and taggs people have left on my posts is what keep me going#y'all having fun with my art is what fuels me and motivates me to make more stuff#bigger projects#it's just been wonderful this last year

still on that redrawing binge, this time I redid my first Dante art - this time with a lot more Gremlin Hell Twink flavour
#dmc#devil may cry#dante#dmc3#devil may cry 3#my art#ooops forgot to post my art to tungle for a hot min sorry#have a few of backlog hope you don't mind#anyway i like this one better even though i feel like it looks... lazier?#like the shading feels less detailed than in the original one#BUT i didn't have a good grasp on dante at all back in the day#not his character nor his appearance#made him look far too big and beefy for 3D#and i didnt really have a story for it just (ok but what if dante)#this one feels more like specifically V's idea of the dante he remembers#overlarge grin with too many teeth balls to the wall fuck attitude and all#a terrifying creature basically#also i wrote art works instead of art warks on the guns in the first one. that bothered me for ages beacause its incorrect in 3 kdfjhdkh

so sorry for disappearing :( i miss yall lots. i open tumblr every day and think ill finally reply to people and reply to asks but then i just don't do it. i feel bad that i always have to come here and apologize (even though i know i shouldn't have to or feel the need to) and i always feel like im being down 24/7 /:
truthfully i stepped away because my depression has been at it's worst and everything is beginning to feel like a chore and i don't want to bring that energy here at all :(

don't know if there's any specific pattern. i definitely do like to end on a line of dialogue but i don't strive for it. usually my last lines aren't toooooo long either but sometimes the moment calls for it not to be as short and punchy.

Omg people need to stop assuming I'm capable. I'm dense and slow!!! On everything!!! What even gave anyone the impression that I can just casually do anything fast?? No but Blackpink being the first Koreans to headline Coachella would’ve been great if they had actually included Korean background dancers. Like all this hype about them being the first Koreans and stuff, only to see not a single korean staff/dancer/etc💀 Like...so much for representation lol.
#kpop#coachella#ngl the performances were disappointing asf#they had a lot of energy don't get me wrong#but like where was this energy through out the tour!? 😭#And the back track was soo loud#and so many empty spaces and locals left lol#Alot of Blinks are only posting the front view where the crowd is cheering but not the one that's further back#people were literally leaving#some locals even complained about the perfomances being bad#But I gotta say Rose rocked it like she rlly gave her all#She's the ONLY one who was stable through out - the other girl's vocals were a bit meh#Idk why but the entire performance was just them having fun and treating it like a party and not as a music performance?#u get me?#They all looked great on stage!!! and obv very hot#but like performance wise they were mid#and it's concerning that people are praising them for the bare min bcs like no where is there perfomance even good#like idk if it's me being used to actually good groups like Mamamoo/bts/shinee/dreamcather/Chungha/etc#but their perfomance was like not it#especially by k pop's standards#Like Jennie was literally either yelling in the mic or being unstable 😭#And there was some lip syncing too lol#They were good but nothing extraordinary#But I have to say there songs are made for Coachella - they've all got beats that make u wanna dance but like that's it#call me a hater or whatever but I'm tired of Bp being called the best gg or the representative of ggs when they perform so embarrassing#also it's the way they as a group are so tone deaf (this is about the interview where they talked about Coachella 'finally waking them up')#like you've been an idols for 7 years or more and it took u a music festival to realize that u had to perform well#and not ur concert where fans paid so much#lol#Also it's the way they only perform somewhat well when they're in front of Rich people or other celebs
