Rabbitfoot (bottom-most cat) is a former kittypet and genetic freak who is starclan's specialist little guy. this is an objectively bad thing.

Featherstep (topmost cat) was buddies with Rabbitfoot but was killed for participating in a coup where a few cats tried poisoning the clan leader's fresh kill. trying to convince rabbitfoot to finish the job because the leader is kind of an asshole and aren't you tired of being nice rabbitfoot don't you want to go ape shit

Antwatcher (middle cat) meanwhile is ANCIENT. very very closely involved with rabbitfoot out of curiosity because they just want to see how this all turns out. sometimes chilling in the afterlife with infinite prey gets boring yknow sometimes you gotta terrorize the living for funsies

rabbitfoot gets harassed by other dead cats but these guys are the most. persistent

Day 4 of the @first-try-techno-challenge my prompt was English Major! This is the finished version I’ll put the 30 minute version under the cut 👍👍

There's technically a fic that goes before the splatoon 3 one (which is almost done! hoping to start posting it on the s3 anniversary tho) and I don't really have motivation to write it but I Did write the prologue + first 4 chapters a few years back (which are all specifically the ones that take place in Inkopolis). There's also a few scenes in the spl3 fic where stuff from it is referenced and it also sort of explains why one character is Not Present.

So the question is do I post the existing chapters as a sorta segway / prologue to the splatoon 3 fic because of this (and leave it unfinished so I can post the rest if I write it someday)

god I know this is like The Wrong Stance on AI. I know its not about whether the art is Real and Human or If It Has A Soul and how a lot of the arguments against it are the same bullshit arguments people made against digital art like I Know. I Knowwww. but god, I'm really sorry, not to post like one of those annoying poetry bloggers I cant stand (yall are valid, live your truth, theres nothing wrong with what you post I'm just a petty bitch who hates poetry. unless I dont hate it.)

But theres just something about the way AI art will almost certainly never be able to mimic the exact way my pencil leaves an indentation in the paper, the way some of the lines I can never fully erase cause I pressed too hard, theyll have to at least train them to draw with a physical pencil first, and sure, they could train it to draw with a pencil and even erase the exact same piece I drew, line for line, on a piece of paper with a robot arm powered by AI, but they can't replicate. idk. the lineage of lefty bitches in my family, and the way I grew up going through school with my entire left arm silver with graphite, from doodling on my schoolwork. not yet anyway. but I guess I do live for the day we make the ai sentient enough that we can traumatize it by giving it homework after kneecapping its executive functions so it copes by drawing a big tiddy lobster monster. sure
