#i had 1 on monday#and i cant remember a thing of it#well maybe a little#but i dont want 2 think about it LMAO#but not bc i did badly#(idk how well i did)#but idk i need to live in the moment and not be bogged down by things of the past#<-wisdom#but all i gotta do is this one other exam cuz the gcse has 2 papers#and then im free 2 access everything in my mind again#and let go of everything else#until the Next One#and the one after that after that after that#and its going to be an endless cycle like a timeloop#except things get Progressively Worse#but we'll burn that bridge when we come to it#anyways i did cut outs of newspaper words to make a song yesterday for a songwriting class i do#and it was really fun and i wish i could do sort of creative things like that more often#and mine fucking slapped imma be honest#bc I LOVE USING WORDS I LOVE CREATING STRANGE STORIES PLEASE IM CALLING UPON THE GODS OF DEATH ASKING THEM TO GRANT THIS ONE WISH#that i may one day be able to spill all the sweet honeyed words of the false deities out of my mouth#to sing and revel in the shower of blood and the dew on the grass#and to one day be freed from the grey tinted glasses#and the shackles on my wrists and the screwdrivers stuck in my brain#to scream until my throat is hoarse and to feel rage and love and happiness and sadness and pain and joy#i just need to defeat the Screamers and the Metal Angels and the Knockers#or die trying#anyways#red meows

i spent all morning looking for the cheapest ways to get to venice next monday and i feel like i've cracked the code or something i think i got it
#i have to talk it with my mum cause she's the one with the money#but i've seen some good ideas#i have 5 options for now#for some reason flights to and from venice from madrid are expensive as fuck#so i'll have to get to another airport first#here are my options. keep in mind the exam i have to take is on monday 10 at 9:30 am. also ideally i wouldn't want to pay a hotel room#in venice. cause they're expensive as fuck#so let's see. you can also help me out all help is welcomed:#option 1. on sunday i get on a train to barcelona. i sleep in bcn (most likely in a hostel at the airport)#and at 6:35 am there's a flight to venice from bcn for 64€#i arrive at 8:25. i go take the exam#and there's another flight off from venice to bcn at 16:45 for 75€#this is the cheapest flight out of venice i could find so this will always be the flight back#and then i arrive at bcn at 18:45 and have cheap trains to madrid at around 20:00#option 2. i think this is the most likely one. it's similar to the previous one BUT instead of bcn i'd be flying from alacant#why is this important? because i have family there#more precisely my grandpa's sister. who just had a surgery#and my grandma wanted to go visit her. she was literally talking about this two days ago#so. if my mum agrees to it. she could drive us three to alacant on sunday#we would sleep at my great aunt (?)'s place#and then i'd have a flight at 5:45 to venice for 70€#i'll get to venice at 8:00 and then the going home plan is the same#if she doesn't agree i have trains to alacant for 49€. and even if i wouldn't sleep with family (i have tons in alacant not just#the great aunt) hotels are definitely cheaper than in bcn#option 3. there's a flight from santander on sunday 9 for 14€ !!!!!#i could get on a night bus to santander for 71€ and be there at 6:30. the flight is at 10:10 and i would be in venice at 12:15#i would have to sleep in venice but i think it would compensate for the flight being so cheap#and then you know the drill with the flight to bcn#option 4. this is also quite likely i think this is the cheapest and my favourite i think.#i could fly on sunday to florence from madrid for 54€. i would arrive at florence at 12:15

I love my niece and nephew but my sister literally keeps dumping them with me & expecting me to babysit without paying me despite the fact she has a job, & I'm tired of being treated as free labor for her
#when i asker her if there was anybody else to babysit she said her friend but was like 'but then if i took them there#then I'd have to pay them' (meaning she offhandedly admitted she doesn't believe she should pay me for babysitting all day)#i agreed to ONE day of babysitting & now ive been babysitting since monday from 9 am to 5 pm#& she didnt even tell me about the other days i literally woke up to my nephew crying & my sister gone so she just left him here#without saying anything#tbd#and she STILL never paid me for watching her son all summer 2 years ago despite telling everyone she was going to#she had a job & good money then too she just. decided not to pay me#i also hate 1. waking up early 2. waking up early in the summer 3. babysitting without getting paid 4. doing shit last minute#so this is p much my nightmare to keep waking up early in the summer to babysit all day without being told about plans & without pay

#love that my body decided to incapacitate me the weekend before i have to read 5 different papers for classes#and it would b one thing to just read them but no for 3 of them i have to give detailed interpretation and 1 i have to present on#ive already failed to read one bc i forgot we had to do 2 papers for monday. oops. not that i could have done it anyway. i barely got 1 done#and im on track to fucking up the one due Tomorrow as well#im just fucking tired of reading fucking chemistry driven papers that i dont understand no matter how many times i read them#and everyones like oh itll get easier but no it fucking wont bc i cant fucking read right#its so fucking frustrating. why do i even bother? im so tried#i don't even have the paper im supposed to present on so ill have to do it all tomorrow. cool. great. not that i could do it today anyway#im just. this is gonna b a difficult week#and i misused my whole day by doing extractions bc i scheduled my training a week ago when i thought i would b fine over the weekend#nope. its fucking bullshit. this is y im like. y do i even want to b in academia?#how could i b a prof if i cant read well? its fine to b dyslexic as a math person but im like i have to read so much and so little gets thru#but then what the fuck else am i supposed to do? idk. im just gonna write down something for all these questions and go tf to sleep#ill get up at some horrible time in the morning to finish this. damn the consequences. ill see my therapist tomorrow anyway#and meet with my advisor like 🤪 yo guess what i made zero progress this week#sorry u got stuck with me while im going thru a year of fucking health problems#but whatever cant get rid of me now im already here. here and tired and i wanna go to bed#unrelated

my friend is visiting and i finally have someone to appreciate my maximalist sense of decor “i love all your little tchotchkes…oh and you have more decorations in the bathroom” yes yes i do. no one until now has ever told me i inspire them to decorate their room🥺

i think my interview this morning went well!!
#im not trying to speculate on whether or not i think i have the job#but i feel good about how the interview went#i am getting anxious about money again though#and this interview happened during one of the company-wide training days for the second job i just started#bc the first job is uh. i will have had one (1) shift for the entire second pay period of this month#so that one is very much a supplementary 'fill in when needed and wanted' kind of position#but unfortunately i have a conference during ANOTHER training day for the more stable job next weekend.#and i just feel like im somehow showing them that im unreliable?? and that then they will not want to schedule me??#idfk thats the fear talking. practically speaking if they didnt want me they wouldnt hire me. the store manager and the dm both#said that it's not a big deal so i will do my best to trust them#hhhhhh i have a tour booked for an apartment next tuesday afternoon and i hope . ?? i can wiggle my way in to another training sesh next we#idk if thats something i can request or try to suggest w my store manager or if i have to wait on him to get to me about it#but i will find out on monday when theres the next session that i can make#blah blah blah
