How do ya draw Silver? He's my favorite hedgehog ever since I first saw him and it really makes me sad that I can't draw him. The closest I can get is this:

Yours a very adorable and precious silver art Ive ever seen, and I wanna cherish the small bean, cos look at he!!! My heart QAQ!!

You're honestly on a very good start there! Art is a journey of self-expression and it takes time and dedication to create on something you love or have passion on! Don't be ashamed/afraid on what you have right now cos when you look back in the future (hehe), you can see how far you have come!

I'm still learning on how to draw Silver and the Mobians in general since I'm still quite new to the franchise. Hence understood the struggles/pain when it comes to drawing certain features and proportions of each character (for me its the five front quills in different angles, so much fixing/tweaking here and here...)

Having official photos of him as references somewhat helps me, until the colors and rendering comes by and oh boi that's a whole other story right there, the armour for Sir Galahad...lighting...absolute nightmare...

So I'm not sure if these helps, but I would recommend checking on Silver's references! Whether it's the 3d models from games such as 006/Sonic Rivals 1 & 2 etc, and/or 2d versions of him (e.g promo arts from Sonic Channels or the comics like Archie/IDW) which would get good ideas as to how he was drawn!

Plus, personal favourite of mine, if really stuck with what to draw for your fav, redrawing screenshots from games, shows or comics can also helps ya with understanding how anatomy, poses and all of the stuffs work!!

I'll leave both of the gallery from the wiki and the head angles that has Silver and couple other characters if you wanna practice on some head turns with Silver!!

I would also recommend if you have enough storage on your device/s to have an album on your gallery with references for Silver! Or preferably for me, if uses Discord, create a server just for yourself and add a channel just for images, that way you don't have to worry about the actual storage space in your device's gallery!

At the end of the day, we all be sailing the same boat when it comes to art so its nice to have fun and slowly but surely learn and improve when drawing your favorite character!

Hello! I wanted to say I found your blog (TF2 art, actually!) via Pinterest then I FINALLY MAN WAS THAT HARD XD on tumblr! I adore your style and it is fantastic!! Your bois Johannes and Rodger are so stinkin cute, especially lil Jo and Rodger art! Love and I mean LOVE THE MER SERIES of em, and the fanfic, just 🥹😍🥰. You did definitely inspire me to give them a try to doodle them for fan art for you, and maybe try a TF2 fantasy au along with the series I got in the works now. I usually draw on my own and just chuck out ideas without knowing people out there actually like my stuff, and I feel so honored whenever someone tells me they do! ;w;

Gandalf Le Gris is so snuggly ;-; I can’t sleep in any bedrooms of the house without this kitty glued against me and tonight, he was half hugging and slowly wiggling closer to me but I still have enough space to draw so i quickly doodled him in his sleeping position ! TwT

He always sleep in the weirdest poses but you can feel he is loving living here I am so happy !!

I had to sit down to type this and he is now snoring soflty on my leg and foot and is still absolutely everywhere ;A; The more the time pass the closer he snuggle and at the end, he is weirdly wrapped around me until he decide to go get crazy and run in the mud ! èn é

"This smol lovely thing-- how did he became the saltiest lord again?" She mumbled under her breath, visibly trembling to hold back herself from squealing.

"(´・д・｀) *Gasp*! B-big sis are you okay? Do you want some medicine? I may not be strong as much but.. I know how to treat wounds..!"

"EHEYYYYY!!!" NYOOOM he runs away while laughing, leaving bewildered MC behind.

Heavens. Masamune is cute and all when he is in a child mode but that mischievous side of him is still THERE!

Every time she bend down, he will get every single chance to do that! She could only sigh on how ironic adult Masa and child Masa is:-

Phew. She's glad that child Mitsuhide is very obedient. He seems like a good boy so far. Helping her with errands, smiling sincerely when she served him food and such, practically the OPPOSITE of adult Mitsuhide.

Well.. She is wrong. SO, SO WRONG.

Hideyoshi had came to MC's place, looking furious.

"This kid..... Is just.like.his.adult.mode!"

"Huh? What did he do OAO?"

MC turned to Mitsuhide and it was met with a very innocent smile,...

Until he opens his mouth. "Well.. His letter for his so-called fan girl breaks people's heart so.. I helped him by writing a new one. See? They are all dressed in a wedding kimono outside, isn't that lovely ( ͡^ ͜ʖ ͡^)?"

"It took me 5 hours, MC. FIVE! To draw them away and explaining things at them!!"

MC went (°д°) when Hideyoshi walks away, crying, and shakes her head at Mitsuhide. "I see. He is such a small snake even when he is in child mode, huh?"

Welp. MC literally jumped when he suddenly give out a creepy, low chuckle to her words after that.

Them: (˵ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°˵)Σ(°д°ﾉ)ﾉ

Kenshin

The plate of snacks nearly fall from her grip the moment she entered the room.

Imagine child Kenshin, surrounded by a cloud of bunnies all over him, and he is there, in the middle of it, with ONLY his head that sticks out with this face (눈‸눈).

"Uh.. K-Kenshin? I brought some light snack, let's have it together...?"

"(눈‸눈)...."

"(´・ｪ・｀).... *sweats*"

"It's delicious, you know? See? This bun is shaped like a bunny."

"(눈‸눈) ...Hm."

"Uh.. S-so can you tell the bunnies to go outside? Or maybe y-you know, let you move so you can eat the snack?" She clasped her hands together, beaming a (forceful) smile, "It's a veeeerry limited edition...! It's like onigiri, you see? It has plums in the middle of it..!"

"(눈‸눈)... *gasp* (°д°)! Plums?"

"Yeah, plum- WAAAAHH \(OAO)/!!!! 🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇!!!"

Poor MC get swarmed all over by the bunnies. But it's a miracle the bun survived though.

Shingen

"Oh my angel, my goddess, my angel, my sweetest being of my life 😏😏😏😏✨✨✨."

"...You said the word 'angel' twice, Shingen."

He gasped, "Ooh? I have come across a very genius goddess as well 💖💖💖💖💖!"

"Oh..."

MC about to escape from him, but only to be stopped with him, biting a cherry blossom branch in his mouth as he take it out when he successfully gets her attention,

"No, no, don't go and leave me like that. It hurts me, goddess..!"💖💖💖💖💖

MC's eye twitched to the saliva around the branch (ewww) before turning to him, "God, seriously, his child mode is the worst than his adult mode."

"What are you saying, my rainbow sunflower dango mochi? I am serious..! I don't see you as a big sis who take care of me..!"

"Oh really now? Show me how serious you are, then."

He nodded, genuinely showing a very firm look before going away for a while. "You wait here..!"

MC: ( ͡°з ͡°) Now what is he planning- uh--

*Shingen comes back with Yukimura, by riding on his shoulder like a very proud lord + wink* 😘😘😘😘😘✨✨✨✨✨

First days of school were always kinda rough.

No one knew anyone, nor what anyone’s quirk was. You had power until someone found out you had a stupid quirk-or no quirk at all. It was an unfair hierarchy yet to be overthrown.

“Ne ne-Mina-Chan, right?” A soft spoken, (h/c) boy piped up as he walked towards Minas seat. Even if he was on the softer side, that wouldn’t stop him from making a friend or two.

Mina chuckled and gave (y/n) a short, animated, description of her quirk. It was acid apparently, and had nothing to do with her looks.

Sero absentmindedly followed (y/n) around the classroom as he asked people what their quirk was. He was hoping he’d miss him. He didn’t want someone to comment on how he got into the hero course with a boring quirk like hi-

“You’re Sero-kun, right?”

Seros blood ran cold. He shifted in his seat to face the boy standing beside him, arms resting on the back of his chair. He was awfully close, and his hard, but soft gaze seemed to make him melt into his seat. He didn’t know why though. It was probably due to the fact that he was about to disappoint him with his quirk.

“Yeah...that’s me alright. What can I do you for?” Sero jabbed a fist into his chest, trying to seem as cool as possible to make up for everything else. (Y/n) smiled.

“I was wondering, since I saw something kinda bulking out of your elbow sleeves. What’s you quirk, Sero-Chan?”

Damn, already with the ‘Chan’? The black haired boy gulped and pulled up his sleeve. “Well-I can shoot tape out of my elbows. It’s nothing interesting, I know...I’ve heard it plenty of times...”

Sero ripped a small piece of tape off from his elbows, and stuck it onto (y/n’s) blazer. He hadn’t met his eyes yet, fully expecting him to be disappointed or underwhelmed. Instead, he felt a finger lift his chin up to face the boy standing in front of him.

“I think your plenty interesting, Sero-chan.”

It was only now that Sero seemed to notice how the morning, sleepy light flooded into the classroom, making (y/n) glisten and glow like an angel infront of him. His finger was still on his chin, but he was harboring a soft, clad smile, full of genuine interest and kindness.

The raven haired boy broke out from his trance when (y/n) peeled off the tape from his button up and stuck it tentatively onto Seros nose. He flinched slightly, before his cheeks burned a pinkish color and (y/n) ruffled his soft, black hair.

“I’ll see you later, yeah? Let’s eat lunch together.” And with that, (y/n) walked away, probably to ask the boy with the glasses what his quirk was. Or maybe the girl with the earphone jack ears.

Sero knew that he were probably just being nice, but he couldn’t help but feel a tiny bit special. He felt the genuine admiration flow from his voice as he smiled warmly at him, and complimented him.

He peeled the piece of white tape from his nose, holding it close to his face for a long minute. He chose to ignore the pounding, fluttery feeling in his chest as he stuck the piece of tape onto the edge of his table.

That single, offhanded compliment was how the ever-plain, flushed, Sero hanta, became hooked.

Kenma x reader - I Like You

Quiet was always kinda nice, especially for Kenma. Not so much (y/n) though.

Kenma sat propped up against his pillow, playing on his tv with the controller resting on his lap. (Y/n) sat across from him, sprawled out on the bed and staring up at the ceiling. When Kenma said he wanted (y/n) to come over, he expected them to yknow...actually hangout together.

After another minute of deafening silence, with the occasional ring of kenmas video game, (y/n) decided he could take no more. He wanted cuddles, damnit.

“...say, Kenma,” (y/n) heard a pause chime in Kenmas game, taking that as his cue to continue.

“Do you love me?”

There was more silence, before the pudding head looked away bashfully. “Mm...you already know it, right....”

“Well...yes,” (y/n) looked at Kenma, holding a neutral expression. “But I wanna hear your say it.”

There was more silence, before (y/n) took matters into his own hands. He hoisted Kenmas arm up, earning a small yelp, and crawled on top of him, holding his own body weight with his arms as to not crush his boyfriend. He then tucked his arms in between both their chests nimbly once he knew both of them were comfortable.

(Y/n) forced Kenma to look at him, but he shifted his head to the side, slightly whipping his hair onto the boys face. Kenmas hands, having discarded the game controller long ago, brought his hands to wrap around the boys torso in front of him, even if he wasn’t looking at him. (Y/n) eyed his arms gently.

“Y’know...with physical body language and stuff, you have proof you’re liked,” Kenma held his head to the side, but he listened intently at his boyfriends soft words. “It’s super easy to understand.”

“It can be convenient at times, but you can also immediately understand people’s change of feelings. It’s very scary.”

(Y/n) laid his head on Kenmas shoulder, humming quietly before going on with his rant. “But-I told you countless times that I like you properly.”

Kenmas blush deepened with everytime he recalled (y/n) randomly professing his love for him, whether it be on the court, smiling and dicking around like an idiot, or more calmly when he’s walking home with him and Kuroo.

(Y/n) lifted his head to look at Kenma with a heart wrenching smile.

“I do that, because saying ‘I like you’ to the guy I like, makes me super happy!”

He untucked an arm from underneath him and touched Kenmas face scarcely. “Don’t you think that?”

Kenma finally faced (y/n), gripping the arm holding his cheek with furrowed brows and a blush. While he did face (y/n), he didn’t look at him, opting to take interest in a patch of dust just outside his window.

They stayed like that for awhile, until Kenma brought his gaze up the the boy on top of him, who was look at him patiently, with soft, kind eyes.

“I...” Kenmas flushed face couldn’t be any redder. “I like you...”

Kenma kept repeating those words, in various ways such as “I like you so much” or “I..I like you, (y/n)”. He kept at it until his mouth ran dry, all the moisture draining and expelling itself in the form of tears brinking at the corners of his eyes. They taunted him like flames licking at the corners of his pretty face, threatening to spill, if Kenmas throat had not closed up and let him say “I like you” one more time.

Panic hit (y/n) like a truck as he spazzed out on top of his weepy boyfriend. “A-ah! Wait no no no no-I didn’t mean that I was like-mad at you or anything! I was just ranting and stuff oh god-“

He wrapped his arms around kenmas neck, nuzzing into his side with tears forming in his own eyes. “Kenmaaaaa, aaaah Kenma-chan I’m shooo showwyyy!”

Kenma dried his eyes. It was silent again, with the sound of sniffles echoing across the quiet room. Kenma shifted once more, to face his boyfriend, and wrap his arms around him, forgetting about his game or his tear stained face entirely.

“Tears make me tired...” he mumbled, drawing the boy closer. “I want cuddles.”

(Y/n), now happy again, obliged and wrapped his arms and legs around him. The quiet background music of kenmas game played in a non irritating loop, eventually lulling the two boys to sleep.

Hm. I guess (y/n) got his cuddles after all.

Qingyaji & Longyequ things

So this has been bugging me a long long time and I probably will get flak for this post but I am still putting this info dump and attaching some theories of mine regarding the movies from all the resources we got. Including speculation of the sequel at the end. Before you hit me yes, I read,listen and do speak chinese. (not A grade but I passed anw *flicks report books away*) and a pathetic amount of japanese. Ready for word dump? Scroll on. 1) Dong Tu / Eastern Realm Remember when Qing Ming was asked by his master to head to dong tu? Qing Ming lives on Dong Dao or Eastern Isle.Why go east?? This.THIS. I had to search up abit and translation was not good because dong tu didn’t mean east literally.And they should have probably came up with a better term in movie script. Its an old old label for china and was also used the Journey to the West to label the country as its in the east region. *facepalm* 2)The directional gods The main crux of QYJ. And before I start I’m going to list them clockwise. Black Tortoise / north Azure Dragon / east Vermillion Bird / south White Tiger / west there’s a fifth but its not commonly used Yellow Dragon OR in japanese its 黄竜 (おうりゅう), representing the emperor in the centre although the japanese believed the centre represents the concept of void. Got it? Now I add the cities in QYJ in pinyin and their translation and where the characters are from north / Bei Du / Northern City / Boya east / Dong Dao / Eastern Isle / Qing Ming south / Nan Jiang / Southern Territory / A-Long (Longye) west / Xi Yu / Western Region / Hong Zhi (the dead monk in case you forgot) But in movie that the order of duty became this. north / Black Tortoise / Boya east / Azure Dragon / Qing Ming south / Vermillion Bird / He Shouyue Boya west / White Tiger / A-Long (Longye) Alot on the chinese fandom and I believe that they each represent region they came from as its more logical to protect their land first rather than the main problem of the snake (remember early on when they plotted and were sus of each other.) while western fans believe its by drawing lots as Qing ming said he was unlucky to get Qinglong. Or was this a ploy He Shouyue and for his scheme? This was not clarified in the movie.So do what you will with the knowledge. 3)Qing Ming, Boya and Fox Demons Not in movie but mentioned. And here I will use both jp/chi names. Before that I want to say that in the novel or historical Boya/Hiromasa DID NOT have a beef with foxes.

Foxes/Kitsune in japan are not as damned as their chinese counterpart. They are even honoured and prayed for business and agriculture in Inari Shrines.This begin sometime in Heian era where Seimei and Hiromasa was born in. Minamoto no Hiromasa was actually a noble, an official and part of the royal family.He is also master in Court music or gagaku. Titbit: Rajoumon and Suzakumon were locations where he received his popular instruments fue/flute and biwa. (This biwa was mentioned in movie!Yes the one poor Killing Stone stole.) The were the head and tail of Suzaku avenue in the old capital city.Why I mentioned this, because I want to point out Boya’s ties to the Vermillion Bird or in japanese,Suzaku.You link it? You link it. Qing Ming/Seimei was rumoured to be half Fox. His mom is Kuzu no Ha. The white fox of Shinoda.She married Abe no Yasuna who saved her. Although she left as her identity as a fox was revealed.Or in some, was found out by young Seimei. In the movie, she was hunted down and left Qing Ming behind.Although her love is evident and remained to her husband and son. Her shrine irl is said where people pray for children as well In the old onmyouji movies, he is iconic for his ritual/court dances or bugaku (done only by nobles) also btw Seimei has his own shrine and its small but lovely See how I mentioned one was good in music and another in dance. mmm yes. heh. BUT. Historically. These two had nothing to do with each other. At all. And also. Hiromasa was born AD 918, Seimei AD 921. Now imagine Boya being the older one and Qing Ming younger haha. 4)Setting of Movie The director only confirmed it as a fantasy timeline while artwise they set it around second dynasty(??)( I can’t find the video but was one where they discuss architecture in movie). However a popular theory I found was its set in Late Tang dynasty in Wu Zetian’s era where economy and trade (silk road, maritime) was booming in her rule. Why is 1 (Mimato) so important? Mimato was the first fandom I ever truly was a part of when I was a teenager and then got back into when I picked up drawing again in my 20s. I made an LJ community (yamatoxmimi) and was friends with a lot of FFN writers back in it’s heyday; I keep in touch with a few oldfarts of the fandom. And it’s amazing that such a crack ship has so many supporters even to this day :> In their respective world though they’re 1/4 of the Chosen Children. As a pairing, they’re not important towards the story at all considering they only interact once in the series, bahaha... *cries softly*

Is 9 (Lancaster) a funny ship or a serious ship? More of a funny ship though they have their serious moments.

Out of all of the ships listed, which ship has the most chemistry? Ahhh, it’s so hard to choose?! I’m going to say Zutara. They went from bitter enemies to trusting each other, a betrayal and then earning that trust back to eventually becoming a power duo. They’ve both had similar life experiences that they’ve bonded over and the tension between them urrghh. And they just work so well together. I’ll be honest though, Clerith probably has the best chemistry, especially since they pretty much were attracted to each other on their first meeting. But instead of having this entire post be about Clerith, I figure I’d talk about another pair, hahaha.

Out of all of your ships listed, which ship has the strongest bond? CLERITH, fosho. Their love transcends death *cries* Aerith’s presence lives on in Cloud and helps him even in the Lifestream; they’re connected to each other spiritually. Though literally SasuSaku has the strongest bond. I mean Naruto as a whole is about bonds, especially within Team 7, hehe. Y’know maybe I should switch my answers for this with the last one, lmao.

How many times have you read/watched 10’s (SasuSaku) fandom? Hoo boy, going through all of Naruto is a job, but I think I’ve re-read part 1 of the manga like 2-3 times while it was still in syndication. I dropped it a little bit into part 2 then picked it back up near the end and I don’t follow Boruto at all, but I did read the Sarada side-story after the original manga ended. I’ve watched all of Naruto’s original anime once, but only about 5 episodes of Shippuden.

Which ship has lasted the longest? In real life? Clerith. In universe? SasuSaku.

How many times, if ever, has 6 (KAIMiku) broken up? Hard to say since I don’t know all of their songs. Also depends on which version of a certain song you consider your canon (i.e. From Y to Y). But that’s the beauty of Vocaloid: you can use the characters as you see fit :>

If the world was suddenly thrust into a zombie apocalypse, which ship would make it out alive, 2 (Clerith) or 8 (MikoChiyo)? LMAOO, Clerith, hands-down. I can’t even imagine Mikorin and Chiyo in a zombie situation unless it was one of Nozaki’s manga ideas xD

Did 7 (MaouEmi) ever have to hide their relationship for any reason? Yeah, as individuals they do. Emi as the Hero Emilia Justina and Maou as Demon Lord Satan. And it’s very strongly hinted that Emi harbors feelings for Maou which she denies/hides. I’d imagine if they got together they might try to hide their relationship for awhile if they were to ever return to Ente Isla but we’ll just have to wait and see since HataMaou isn’t over yet :)

Is 4 (VaniHopu) still together? QAQ noo… They’re doomeddestined to be star-crossed lovers till the end of time. In fact the last time they were together were in the original FFXIII ;^;

Is 10 (SasuSaku) canon? *flails and cheers* It’s the only pairing on my list that’s outright confirmed and shown being canon. And it still feels so good after 15+ years of shipping it.

If all 10 ships were put into a couple’s Hunger Games, which couple would win? HMMM. About half of my list is power couples so this is a toughy. BUT I think LuluShir would, if only because Lelouch would use his geass to come out on top, lmao. Though thinking about eye powers now, SasuSaku might because of Sasuke’s Rinnegan. Definitely a tough choice between those two pairs; depends on whose eye would trump the other :D

Has anybody ever tried to sabotage 5’s (LuluShir) ship? Beeeeesiiiiides the other Lulu ships…? *shields* Not really sabotage, but C.C. said it was a bad idea for Lelouch to get involved with Shirley if he wanted to pursue his dream (please excuse is this is wrong, it’s been so long since I’ve watched Code Geass. Definitely need to do a rewatch soon esp with the upcoming third season). And… oh… well, I guess Rolo >_> *cough*

Which ship would you defend to the death and beyond? Alllllll of theeeeeem~ But my OTP of all OTPs will always be Clerith, so them first and foremost.

Do you spend hours a day going through 3’s (Zutara) tumblr page? Not at all until very recently (like since a week ago). It was always a ship I idly supported until I got back into ATLA again, and now I’m hopeless :’D

If an evil witch descended from the sky and told you that you had to pick one of the ten ships to break up forever or else she’d break them all forever, which ship would you sink? I… well, most of them are impossible or separated somehow anyway… but… M-Mi…mato…? Because it’s utter crack and they only interacted on-screen once (thanks to tri) so nothing would change anyway ;-; I was going to suggest MikoChiyo, but at least they have their canon friendship (which is BEAUTIFUL btw) so I gotsta pick the obv pair that has no chemistry except in fanon.

he can be jealous. as a kid he was shy and mia was his first best friend and as they got older he became really attached to her. now that she’s moved away and she’s making new friends and is crushing on someone else he gets jealous. it’s hard for him to let that go but he knows it’s not good to have these jealous/possessive tendencies.

Just thought I’d give you a little story. Been off my drawing lately but I can still write a little snippet for you!

Fen held the twine tightly between her right hand, while the light blue mage hand on her left side finished tying off the final knot to a very special item she had been working on for a month now. She had heard from Leon back then that it was gonna be Pix’s birthday soon! And now, today was the day. Fen hadn’t really known what that meant at the time, but after asking it seemed like it was only a more specific version of the seasonal celebrations her clan had! So immediately she knew what she had to do! And so the project started. Manual projects like this were always tough, as she lacked most of the mobility in her left hand, but still she tried. Some twisty metal, some rope, and the prettiest piece of green seaglass she could find after a week of scouring the coast. Not the gem she would normally have wanted to use but this would do so nice.

Wanting to play the part proper, Fen then proceeded to search for something festive for her head, but could only think of those bowls she and Pix had “tried on” a few weeks ago. Placing one on her head and snagging another, she took off in search of Pix, locating her just outside the house. Trying her best to be stealthy (which she managed to be with an 18), she crept up right behind her friend, and plopped the second bowl on her head.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” She shouted, unnecessarily loudly considering their proximity. But hey, how else would Pix ever know just how excited she was for her. “I gotacha somethin…or-er-I made ya somethin’! Super special!” And with that she held out the crudely crafted necklace, inset with lovely green piece of seaglass. “It’s for you! It’s kinda a thing we do in our clan, ‘cept ours are in our ears, an this is way after you was born an’ all but still! You’re from the summer, so you get green!” She gestured to her own ear. “I gots blue 'cuz I’m from winter, see? It’s special cuz now you’re kinda part of our family an’ clan too now. Honer-honabably?” She grins huge. Pix and her dad had been so nice and good letting her into their house. This was the very least she could do.

(And then they proceeded to wreck havoc and create adorable mischief for the rest of the day, all in the name of Pix’s birthday)
