I SEEN YOUR IZ POST AND JUMPED !!! WE NEED SOME YANDERE ZIM HCS !!! FEED USS ◉ᴥ◉ - 👽ALEIN ANON
Of course! I'll see what I can do.
Yandere! Zim Concept
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Yandere-like behavior Sadism, Implied xenophilia, Kidnapping, Stalking, Invasion of privacy, Jealousy, Forced relationship, Manipulation, Slight possessive behavior, Slight clingy behavior, Delusional behavior, Obsessive behavior.
Tumblr media
- Zim isn't really someone who thinks he needs anyone.
- He considers others expendable to his plan and shows little affection, claiming he needs no one.
- Zim's sadistic, a danger to himself and others, and is rather delusional.
- He believes himself to be so great.
- When in reality, he is a laughing stock to his own kind and suffers from loneliness at times.
- Even if he has GIR, Zim isn't really the social type.
- Although, upon meeting you somehow, he realizes the advantages to having someone.
- For this concept I am focusing on Darling being human.
- Not only does Zim have no social skills due to being a 'lone wolf' with no parents, he has no idea how to comprehend human customs.
- Meaning, Zim's obsession ends up rather twisted towards you.
- Zim is Manipulative, Possessive, Sadistic, Attention-seeking, Delusional, and not very affectionate when it comes to being a Yandere.
- He shows no remorse to his enemies and little sympathy when it comes to others plight.
- He'd invade your privacy often, too.
- You're almost treated as something to study.
- Irkens aren't ones for love as they don't entirely... procreate like humans.
- Zim just wants to understand why a human such as you makes him act so funny.
- "I must find out more. Just what makes this human stand out so much compared to the others!?"
- Zim most likely stalks you.
- Naturally he wants to find out more about you so he has cameras everywhere.
- He'll learn where you live then send in tiny drones to take pictures and record everything inside.
- He also does what he can to force a friendship with you.
- Often following you around to get information.
- The more he's with you the better the pining feeling within him felt.
- This is part of his manipulative and attention-seeking behavior.
- He isn't sure why he wants your attention, but he does plan on taking all of it.
- "What is it you... humans do for fun? I'm just asking out of curiosity-"
- Once he manages to establish a friendship with you, he will manipulate you into his own personally made trap.
- He's delusional so when he finally develops his obsession he thinks you love him
- Even though in reality you either think of him as a friend, or think he's weird.
- Just because he thinks you love him he'll indulge in you~
- Him attempting to learn human relationship customs is a struggle.
- Flirting comes off weird.
- Hugs and hand holding is rather forced.
- Gifts are also difficult but with all his camera footage, he'll figure something out.
- "(Y/N)! I have created a gift for you! Take it. TAKE IT NOW!!!"
- Similar to how I wrote Tak, Zim would try and lure you to his base.
- He first builds a solid friendship between the two of you.
- Then he invites you to hang out with him.
- Only for him to cage you in a holding cell he created himself.
- Now is when Zim can truly try to understand you.
- He also no longer has to wear his disguise around you!
- Since no one can enter his base without him purposefully letting him in, you two have privacy.
- You look so scared behind that glass, staring at the alien in front of you with fear.
- "Your human fear is so funny! Admire my greatness! You aren't going to leave here, I need you for my research!"
- "Oooo! It's your crush~!"
- "Can it, GIR! Don't let (Y/N) out of that cell."
- "Okie Dokie!"
- Zim isn't very affectionate when he has you, still unable to figure out how you humans do it.
- He also gets a bit irritated when GIR gives you attention.
- You are his.
- Zim does show slight sadism when it comes to your fear, however.
- The Irken comes into the cell to feed you and speak with you.
- While affection isn't often he slowly starts learning it.
- You are an important human to him.
- He can't let you go but he can provide certain items for you in the large cell you're kept in.
- "Have you been good today, (Y/N)? No ESCAPING right? Good! I'll get you something new for your enclosure...."
- Despite Zim sounding awful as a Yandere, he's also clumsy.
- For example, you could manipulate GIR to let you out if he's the only one watching you.
- That and Dib will most likely find out about Zim's current fixation.
- Although when you do get out Zim is quick to hunt you down again.
- He'll invent and do whatever he can to ensure you come back to him.
- However, this time he won't be as nice...
- Looks like he'll need better security.
- "YOU CAN'T RUN FROM ZIM!!! I'll find you and we'll start back at square one...."

Week 3: Adobe Illustrator Induction Workshop
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Half way through the first year of uni I started digital drawing using a Wacom tablet and my computer.
In second year I invested into an iPad Pro and started using Procreate, Photoshop and InDesign.
Now in third year I would like to get as much experience in Adobe softwares as I can to get proper use out of the discounted Adobe Cloud subscription we can get through UAL. It's about £55 for the entire uni year for you to be able to use all of Adobe Cloud. Not bad if you compare the prices of regular subscriptions to individual applications etc.
The workshop was pretty fun and the instructor did a great job at keeping a rather large group of students interested and up to speed with the individual steps we went through. Firstly, we created a sort of pattern using the given shapes to practice measuring and key-combos. Then we moved on to practicing the way you create line work in Illustrator by playing on the following website:
And finally we created a lighthouse logo using all the knowledge we just acquired. I'm actually really happy how my lighthouse turned out. Colors and extras and all.
The workshop was great fun and I spoke a lot to the guy next to me during the session. His name was Aman and we helped each other out whenever one of us missed a step or struggled with what we were trying to do. Quite the team building exercise although we are from completely different courses.
I'll try and use the practice website sometimes from now on so eventually I could get better at Illustrator altogether. It feels like a very satisfying thing to work with once you've gotten the hang of it.

IM BACK FUCKERS!
In my absence I've been watching a lot more shows and practicing with digital art so I can remake that damn nsr scribble that's still getting somewhat consistent notes....amoung other things.
I've gotten into Splatoon recently, I have like 2 boxes full of shinies in Legends Arceus, I finally got around to watching She-ra, Rise of the TMNT and Little Witch Academia and I really enjoyed the ladder probably the most. I'll eventually post more Toh content when I finally feel motivated enough.
I'll post OC stuff here too because Instagram's algorithm is eating my whole ass and most things I post here do better.
Anyways here's a drawing of a dumb ass (I mean that in an enduring way)
Tumblr media
I got an ipad for procreate and I'm getting the hang of it, sorta.
I still need practice in Clip Studio Paint.

(Painting in procreate anon) Can you elaborate on drawing the rest of the fcking owl? Like I’ve got the first two steps down but the messing around with colours part confuses me. I can never get it to look right
Tumblr media
hmmm okay so when i say you're "messing around" to go from plain colors to a nice painting, its more like, you're trying to make everything more "specific." you're still messing around and having fun hopefully, but you're messing around *with the intent* of creating specific light, shadow, color, & edges.
references are a super useful tool if you find yourself having trouble on a particular piece. just google-image search what you want. real-life references will give u the best sense of how faces work and how light falls across them:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
& like, your reference honestly doesn't need to match up with your drawing THAT much. for this yue drawing, i referenced this stock photo that uses a model of a different race, the hair is completely different in both color & style, i added glowy effects and ignored the dappled-leaf shadows going across the model's face, and so on. and that's okay! the reference helped give me a starting point for how i was going to approach the shading & color scheme of this drawing, and that's what i needed so that i could go off on my own and do my own thing.
but you don't always need references at all. you can develop a sense for how light should fall over a figure without having to be looking at that figure. like:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(i'm focusing specifically on the face cuz i feel like that's the hardest part)
i personally feel like these are areas where you almost always see shadows and highlights--shadows tend to fall around the sides of the nose & eyes, on the upper lip, and sometimes on the sides of the face. highlights tend to fall in the middle of the nose & eyelids, on the lower lip, and sometimes on the side of the face.
& of course not all highlights/shadows are equal. the dark, hard-edged shadows you might find at the bottom of the nose or under the chin are gonna be pretty different from the lighter, soft-edged shadows you might see on a cheek.
also--you're not JUST adding highlights and shadows. you're also reworking your lines as you go. if you're going for a painting-like look, you don't want big obvious solid outlines there. they'll flatten your drawing. so, like, if you look at the sketch vs the final product, i started out with outlines on her hair and in the place where her jaw meets her neck, but there isn't any actual outline there at all in the painted version--just color. where the outline remains, a lot of it's been changed somehow, because as you go along you'll see lots of places where it needs to be filled in or erased or changed color:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
there's also the "danger zone":
Tumblr media
which in my opinion is the hardest part of the face to shade. it's such a pain to get the hang of because in real life, it's got lots of very subtle variation and bouncing/reflecting light that doesn't always make that much sense. like it's easy to be like "you should usually put a shadow on the upper lip," that's really straightforward, but this area... god it sucks so bad. most of the time you should try to keep the shading in this area pretty subtle and just kinda blend it with whatever the nearest color is to hide all your mistakes. hope this helps
