After reading through postscript, I was wondering if you could elaborate on the world that Mirage and V2 are in? Is it a simulation? Is it all in V2's dying proccesor? Is it something else? In DECT Mirage says they're "outside the narrative" of Ultrakill, so is it an entirely new thing? Also how did Mirage go to college if there's no one else in her world, did she just go to emulate the human experience or?

DECT is set within an expansion of 2-S, a sort of generalized concept of a mundane life that frames the deeper idea of mortality. V2 is there for the same reason M bumps into the player character, a manufactured scenario to initiate a dialogue. so it's less of an actual world and more of a stage, if that makes sense. anything else I've created about the two of them (namely postscript) is set in a sort of expansion on DECT's world where V2 doesn't die of blood loss and they can live peacefully a little longer (and explore their relationship with M). and this take isn't a stage as much as a very literal take on a Project Diva music video (i.e. only a few select Vocaloid characters technically exist within whatever realm these 3D music videos are, but they're still interacting as if it's a fully functional society. an egregious example: Miku falling in love with a flat grey 3D model of a teenage boy). I only think that applies pre-V2 arrival though and beyond that even if the world was truly empty I think M would still go to college, I like to think of it as a testament to how far she's gotten in her own head that she wants to do something she wants with her life! she just thinks its neat

— first and foremost, this is a male reader blog !!! i only write male reader inserts, the usage of she/her pronouns will never, ever be applied to any of my works that involve an insertion of yourself into the scenario. that being said, i don't really think i can/will enforce that those that read my work are only those that use he/him prns. so let's say, if those who use she/her pronouns decide to read my work, i won't purge them off of this page (i don't think i spend that much time on here to even do that) and burn them at the stake. all i very POLITELY ask is that: you don't interact malignantly with me or my posts. i don't tag my work "x fem reader", only "x male reader" and "x reader" so there shouldn't be any worries of my work "cluttering" (<- lmmmffaaoooooo) your tags of "x female reader"

— of course this ^ can be subject to change and become stricter if i start gaining negative attention from fem-alligned readers. so NOT SAYING IT'S SET IN STONE because that how i feel about this just right now.

— i plan on using this blog to just broaden the reach of one of my fanfics (keep safe) with the occasional posting of a smau/modern!au post every now and then.

— every now and then i might post a yandere drabble, oneshot, headcanon, etc just wanted to put that here since i know that it's not everyone cup of tea and wanted to disclaim this. some of the yandere headcanons already exist on here, but i think (i hope) i tagged it all appropiately....(i hope)

for the purpose of this poll I'm using sensory issues specifically (versus autistic/adhd/whatever) as it's a strong smell and taste to me that triggers my SIs, and apparently also does to several others I've met lately. curious if there's a trend, or just coincidence.

im getting tired of people acting like someone using anti tags are dramatic or chronically online, i mean some people may be but not all of them

if you want to talk shit about something use: the anti tags

if you want to talk about how much you love a thing: use the pro tags or the normal fandom tags

that way people can filter out what they do or dont like

do not post things you like in the anti tags and do not post things you hate in the pro tags

if you want to talk shit about people who use anti tags: DONT USE THE ANTI TAGS

if you are going to complain about people tagging incorrectly AND THEN DONT TAG CORRECTLY IM GOING TO EAT YOUR KNEES

also if you like something but then keep going in the anti of that thing please stop and just block the tag dont try and debate people who use the tag you're not going to change their mind there's a reason why they're posting in that tag

btw if you see a random anti post out in the wild that isnt tagged properly you have full right to get upset, im just asking for yall to not just go in the anti-tags to complain use the General tags or the pro-tags instead

i dont understand tumblrs way of blocking posts anymore

sometimes it doesnt show me reblogs from blogs ive blocked when they show up on my dash. sometimes it does. sometimes it doesnt show reblogged posts originally made by a blog ive blocked and sometimes it does

#college essays are literally so evil #what if we took your already all-consuming unhealthy perfectionism #and encouraged it #everything you write is under a strict word count so every single word has to be perfect #if anyone takes issue with your essay so will a college counselor #you think writing for grades is high stakes well now its for where youll spend the next four years of your life #and maybe also for money if the school gives out scholarships #its just high stakes essay after high stakes essay #i feel like im being ground to a fine powder #how many hours can i spend picking over a single sentence?#apparently a whole lot #this whole process just draws on my preexisting self destructive academic tendencies and makes them So much worse #i dont know how tumblr works did i do this correctly? ill figure out when i hit post i guess
