Y’know, there’s one thing I don’t get about Arkham Rids. And it’s the whole bit about him being aro or ace or both. Lots of people say he’s aro/ace because ‘the base nature of (Catwoman’s attachment to Batman) disgusts’ him. And that’s fine. Honestly, I’m disgusted by it too sometimes. And so are some people who aren’t into BatCat in general. The thing that gets me is that people use this one line as evidence or something, and then leave no room for discussion, which I think is a bit stubborn. Yes, their overtly sexual relationship grossed me out too. Yes, I myself am arospec and aspec. But that’s the thing, it’s a spectrum. So while I understand that people get frustrated that he may very well be one of the few characters in media who is aro/ace, people have to understand that 1. It’s a spectrum. Attraction is a very complicated thing. 2. One line, does not a confirmed aro/ace make. And 3. I’m sure lots of allo peeps can be disgusted by a ‘base nature attachment’ as well. Lots of people, regardless of orientation don’t like hearing about what I can only assume Riddler interprets as an extremely sexual relationship that somehow breeded feelings. Which, to me at least, sound more like a demisexual sentiment that a flat out asexual one. It’s fine either way in my opinion. It’s just frustrating to me how some people aren’t open for discussion or nuance. Especially when I myself fall into said nuance.

hello lil beloved! i am not qualified in the slightest to discuss aro/ace spectrum stuff because i am a monogamous slut who loves romantic things

but as for the eddie, i think it's probably coming from two places:

wally wingert said in a cameo i saw once that he can't see the riddler flirting, he doesn't see him being romantic or anything like that. i think he might also have mentioned it in a behind the scenes interview or something? that plus i guess some people think that if he had a woman captive and didn't shoot his shot, then he's not into that? but that's a stretch and a little bit weird lmao

here's the thing though, there's so much eddie does say and doesn't say, and it's all down to how you interpret a character or their tone. some people go MAD for arkham!verse riddlecat, they see sexual tension between them and the way they talk. some people see eddie as canonically bisexual because he's depicted as such in other canon sources. some people see him being repulsed by catwoman or batman or sex in general. which brings me to the second point:

canon doesn't matter a tiny bit when people have their favourites. you can do what you want, you can think what you want. i headcanon arkham!eddie as bisexual, monogamous and autistic, because i can. and because the source material doesn't say that he isn't. and even if it did, it wouldn't stop me lmao which i think is where the big thing with eddie (and a lot of riddlers actually!) comes from. there's that little bit of a suggestion, a lil bit of hope and like you said, people cling to it, because the representation isn't anywhere else for them!

but ultimately people can do whatever they want for whatever reason forever and ever 💚 i know it's maybe annoying when some people won't hear you out about it, but also, they don't have to. which sucks for you, but they're entitled to be stubborn bub!

all that matters is that he's fictional and that people can do what they want with him u-u 💚

He starts to look forward to seeing you and starts bringing little things for you like clothes, toys, coloring books

Listens to you babble about what you do with your days and how you've managed to survive on your own

Not the bartender developing a crush on him for it

Husk doesn't even realize how attached he is until one day he visits the bar and you aren't there, the bartender distracted and upset

You haven't shown up in couple of days

He immediately goes looking for you, frequenting all the places he's heard you mention

Is asking anyone if they've seen you, getting more frantic with each negative answer

Finally finds someone who knows where you are, leading Husk to where you've been hiding out

And now he knows why you haven't shown up

Husk gathers up your shaking, feverish body, hating the fact that you're so sick

You can barely even open your eyes, he can feel your little body burning up in his arms

By then you're well acquainted with everyone at the hotel and they're all quite attached to you

Everyone agrees that you live there now and you get your own room even though you have a habit of sleeping in Husk's

It's okay, Husk looks forward to waking up to your adorable face and doesn't even mind when you kick him in your sleep

You play with Niffty and Angel, learn from Charlie and Vaggie, bother Alastor with your less than flattering renditions of him

You don't like that Alastor is so rude to Husk so you've taken to being a little thorn in his side

Kids pick up on their parent's emotions what can I say

Which Alastor absolutely hates but hides it behind a tight smile, he's surprisingly patient with you

And if those drawings of Alastor on the fridge suddenly go missing?? Husk can always ask you to make him another one

Husk finds himself thinking of you as his kid more and more often, surprised that you ever got this close to his heart

And you yourself slip up a few times and call him dad/papa/daddy/father/pops

You're always a little embarrassed by the chorus of awwws that follow afterwards but you don't really mind it anymore

And neither does he if he's being honest

Pavitr was a dumbass when it came to love,, he didnt realize his own feelings. He constantly showered you with gifts and compliments, he would also be very touchy with you and he’d be hugging you almost every time he sees you if you’re comfortable with it! He would constantly talk about you to Hobie and Gwen, “Oh, you know? [Reader] is sooo cool, like oh my god? I’d like to live with them for my whole life! No-no, I’d love to! They are the absolute best and they’re so so stunning.. there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for them!” he rambled about how cool you looked and how cool you were every time they spoke to each other, and when he does speak about you, Gwen and Hobie would just give each other looks and whisper how dense and how idiotic he is for not realizing his own feelings. He would constantly take you out to “hang outs” and he even introduced you to auntie Maya! And you immediately got along with auntie Maya. Then one day, Pavitr spoke to Gwen and Hobie nervously, “I think I like [reader]” then after he said that, he tells why and he could never stop talking about you. And Hobie just replied with “Congrats, you’re the last one to know!”

Miles realizes once he feels his heartbeat picking up speed when he has a conversation with you, even just a simple “Hi, Miles!” His heart feels like it was gonna explode. He doesn’t know when exactly to bring it up to you, but boy will this guy try to talk to you and stick to you every time. When he sees you, hes gets so nervous and can’t focus at all. He will never stop drawing you in his sketchbook, he’ll probably draw you two together and hang the drawing on his wall. He probably also non-stop talks about you. His parents probably know and he will always ask his mom and dad for advice on how to kinda get with you. “Mama, I kinda have a crush.. and I want to get with them but, I don't know how to!” he asked, “QUE?!!” He always made sure you were okay and you weren’t hurt if you got in trouble. He’d doubt that you like him unless you tell him like 5 times that you do like him!

Hobie probably just developed feelings for you midway, you had a great friendship with him and he just kinda started to develop feelings for you, once he realizes that he does like you, he’d wait for maybe around 2 days and drop out several hints like “G’day mate, wanna hang out? Call it a date,” and he’d wink or smirk after that, then he’d actually confess. I’m telling you, this man is bold as hell. He’d confess in the middle of a “hang out” and he’d be like “Y'know what, I like you, you’re stunning and I want to be yours,” and once you tell him you like him back, he’ll want to be with you all the time and he’d be practically glued to you. He’d wrap his arm around your shoulder all the time if he doesn’t wrap his arm around your shoulder, He’d wrap his arm around your waist! He’ll play a song for you, he’d always make sure you’re safe and unharmed. He’ll be there when you need it, he promises!

He’d smile around you, but Miguel would never notice he did till someone points it out. He’d just smile at you randomly till someone, most likely Hobie, Miles and Pavitr says “OOOH!!MIGUEL O’HARA IS SMILING!!!” and they’d shout that out loud. After they say that, Miguel would just frown like usual. He is unintentionally kinda touchy with you, like, he’d unconsciously touch your hand as a signal of “canwepleasepleasepleaseholdhands?” and whenever you both sit together somewhere, maybe on the sofa or something, he’d scoot a little closer to you. Hes wayyy more gentle, considerate and kinder with you, he’ll try his best to be calm around you. He would never ever try to hurt you, never. He cares about you a lot but he never realizes. Then he starts thinking about you, sometimes he’d even smile when he thinks about you. When he talks with other people like maybe Miles, he’d say [reader] instead of ‘Miles’ like “Hey [reader]” “What? my name’s Miles?” then Miguel would say “Oh I meant Miles,” ( no apology ). ( If you wear perfume / have a signature scent ) He’d smell you out of nowhere even though you’re not there, but he wished you were. And that’s when he realizes he’s so madly in love with you, when he starts thinking about you.

Can I have some headcanons of the mercenary's realizing their feelings for the 10th merc after they brutally bash in a enemy's skull in for trying to kill said merc. And then the 10th merc looks at them with extreme concern while checking up on them. Before turning around and killing another enemy that was about to kill them.

- You destroy a sentry nest he was trying to demolish around a choke point. He’s both offended, and slightly attracted. You’ve destroyed his pride and humbled him. Normally Demoman is the only one who can take down a sentry nest unless Medic has full charge on somebody — among other things.

- He opens his mouth to protest but you silence him with an award winning smile that makes his heart flutter. As you run past him to head over to Medic and regain your strength, he’s scratching his stubble. Trying to comprehend the slurry of feelings. Demoman is an adult and he’s old enough to be fully aware that you can feel multiple emotions at once; that doesn’t make him any less disoriented though.

- “Ay.. finally somebody who’s on my level!” he calls after you. Promising he’ll outrank you next round. His competitive nature demands it. He’s trying so hard to ignore his boner right now. Assuming it to be just from adrenaline.

- Well, you’re tied. You’re both equal amounts on the next scoreboard. He stares at it on the intel computer terminals in disbelief. He immediately downs a shit load of his scrumpy. Holy shit. He has a massive crush on you now. Begins to wonder how drunk he can get before he forgets about this.

Engineer:

- You distract him so much he doesn’t even realize the jammed shell in his shotgun at first. You’ve made him lose like half of his life experience in a fraction of a second and he tries to take out the jammed shell and ends up burning himself. “God. DANGIT.”

- inwardly embarrassed and trying to make it seem like all was normal; he slaps the back of the gun so the shell falls out. Continues trying to defend the points… emphasis on tries. You’re his type AND you’re blood thirsty. He can’t help but feel slightly intrigued. The sparks of what would eventually be a crush once he starts talking to you more.

- He can’t bring himself to think filthy thoughts of someone he just met, he wasn’t raised like that. Occasionally the thought crosses his mind and he becomes a little angry with himself. Please stop being sexy in front of somebody who was raised in the bible belt. PLEASE! he would beg you if it didn’t sound so weird out of context.

- Fuck it. Christian shame doesn’t beat nature. He has to jerk off to the thought of you after battles in the shower. You’ve fucked him up.

Heavy:

- “Heavy, i’m fully charged. Focus on the soldiers in the front and tell me when to— Was zur Hölle?!” Medic complains, looking away from Heavy’s WAY too apparent hard on.

- Heavy would make a great ice sculpture right now. He’s both sweating and frozen in place as he watches you tear the enemy lines to shreds. He rarely feels this way for anybody at all. Heavy was certain his libido evened out as he got older but you just brought him back to square one. He felt like a horny teenager again.

- He wants to lick the blood off your neck so bad. It’s disgraceful. He feels like a disgusting sewage pipe and suddenly wishes the respawn machine didn’t exist so he could permanently die out here just to forget this even happened.

- Eventually waves his hand for Medic to pocket someone else. Goes over and helps you kick some ass. You indirectly both bond from this and successfully kickstart your connection.

Pyro:

- You’re the same as them in their point of view. A ‘misunderstood’ killer (Yeah, okay..) who wanted nothing more than peace of mind while they went about their daily business!

- The enjoy he sees in your eyes as you land a hit is marvelous. Every single swing of your melee felt like some sort of complex ballet. There was birds and neon colors following you wherever you went. You’ve now given them a weird fetish for adept mercenaries they had no idea they even had. They want to meet you RIGHT NOW.

- air blasts a poor demoman off a cliff you were fighting. “Hey. It’s alright. I got this.” You tell them. Pyro just tilts their head. You walk on to cap the cart and Pyro follows closely behind you. “What’s up?” You finally ask him, out of curiosity. Pyro just stares. You begin to recall horror stories that the other mercs told you of Pyro.

- They continue following you around as your own personal bodyguard. Engineer tells you that he does the same to him on occasion. To the extent of protecting his sentries. Apparently Pyro just follows people around like a dog because they have no idea how to communicate their interest.

Sniper:

- Watches you a day before a match doing target practice atop a bridge. The targets in question are in the ravine below. The way you so effortlessly hit each target, only missing a few — for some reason caught his attention. He lowered his scope from his eye and preferred the entertainment of you for a moment.

- You get angry after only missing two. Taking your long range and throwing it aggressively into the ravine. Sniper has no clue why you did this, considering you’re the first person in a while who hasn’t fucked up this course right off the bat. For some reason your aggression is getting him hot and bothered. Is this just a weird preference or a sexual thing? Holy shit, he has no idea.

- Sniper brings his legs together to hide his wood. “Eyes both open with a gun like that, mate. Instinctive to close an eye but I guarantee you, if ya just focus on nothing but the target then boom.” He says. Wondering if maybe he was just overthinking and his penis was being insane.

- “As if you shoot with anything else besides a fucking sniper rifle.” You talk back. “I do, actually.” He says, shrugging at your rage. He didn’t feel like sassing back right now. He was tired. “I could show ya if ya want.”

- He bites his lip, applying pressure to the point it’s red. It was both your bad attitude and shooting skills. He loved a partner who was needlessly edgy. This is seriously the type of guy to swoon over the most edgiest of individuals. Eat nails for breakfast and wear a biker vest for god’s sake while you’re at it.

Medic:

- Uhm.. Medic’s a little weird.

- Not only is he aroused by you in general but the blood on your clothes and in your hair. The way you kill enemies in-and-itself is arousing him. Much like Engineer he tries to focus on his job to no avail. Ends up pocketing you all day and after the other Mercs ask him about it, he claims it’s because they’re all annoying and not doing their jobs correctly again.

- He sits at his desk at night trying to do paperwork. He can’t focus after what he’s seen today. He begins having incredibly fucked up fantasies of eating your organs. Or you climbing into his chest and sleeping in there. Better yet? sex with both your entrails hanging out! knife play! biting! Dear god he’s gross. God, just shut up.

- He puts a hand to his own heart, feeling his heartbeat. For a second he suspected he was getting possessed or something. But no, he’s just incredibly horny. “Archimedes.” Medic said breathlessly. “I do believe i’m moonstruck. Which is unacceptable..” He sort of laughs nervously.

- Coooo. Brrr.

- “Yes, I wholeheartedly agree.” His voice is hoarse. Medic picks up his bonesaw at the end of his table and looks at his own reflection in it. “Every time I love somebody it ends horribly. Best just get what I want and move on.” He says, darkly. What he doesn’t know is that this is the start of his relationship with you. Enticing you to have sex with him — with your consent — it brings you and him to an incredibly intimate level.

- “That was some fine work out there.” He tells you slowly. His hands behind his back. “Would you care to join me for a second?” He offers his hand. Which you take hesitantly. He takes you to his quarters and attempts to court you. Which works because he’s something straight out of a romance movie with his clever quips.

- “I have a feeling—“ He begins, slowly offering his hand and hovering it above your thigh, placing it down and rubbing you slowly when he didn’t sense any discomfort. “That we will enjoy each other’s company often, my pet.” He looks for your approval. Any sign of it.

- Dude is so fucking slick that you can’t resist him. He’s unbelievably experienced in romance and knows how to charm his way into your pants. It was like you were under a spell by a hypnotic snake. He ends up getting what he wants and doesn’t hold back. His knife is threatening your back and he’s atop you. “Shhh.”

- Sex happens. Aggressive sex. Right off the bat.

No ones ever been kind to him let alone share festive gifts. Eventually he will show up at your door naked “Is this a ‘Christmas’ enough present for you?”

He can’t stop laughing when you convince the rest of the camp to wear Christmas hats, “Clowns.” He calls them. You have to nudge him hard for him to stop ruining the festive spirit.

Withers

Sometimes you think if you hear him humming jingle bells but you can never make out the words because it's in some archaic dead language.

Laezel

touched your present with a stick “What is that? Are you trying to kill me?” She has a disgusted expression. Why would you spend your time getting her a gift instead of finding a solution for the parasite?

After a while of convincing, she’s ready to open it. She has a soft smile and doesn’t let it show that it actually made her warm even for a second.

After you sit her down and tell her the Christmas lore she rolls her eyes “Your kind disappoints me.” You tell her about the magic of Christmas as she smirks condescendingly “Whatever go do your thing, I’ll watch.”

Once she learns the carols and traditions there is no stopping her. She’s a woman who believes in long-standing institutes and traditions and she will uphold yours with pride too when she gets used to it.

Halsin

What you didnt know was that its very easy to get lost with him

Bc he's so excited/curious for new sights he doesnt give any fucks abt where he is, so it devolves into that "wait, I thought YOU were leading us there?? Then where tf are we??!!" very quickly

Does feel bad he stressed u out smtimes but he somehow manages to get into such wild shit that Hyrule's kinda preoccupied being confused/amazed/finding his way out, or any combo of these situations (once again, usually with you unfortunately)

Is the luckiest when it comes to getting lost or anything to do with "natural" things

Like he heard u rlly like this one fruit? Accidentally gets lost all day and panics all the Links + You until he shows up at midnight with a shirtful of them

("I found a few fruit trees/plants in the woods while wandering! I tried to grab a few for you and before I knew it, it was dark, sorry...")

Likes learning little skills from other people, like learning how to do makeup from Legend, or how to spot collections of rupees the Minish have left somewhere from Four, or how walk on any terrain from Wind (good at walking on a ship, on land, climbing etc)

Likes music, any music (amused at drunk karaoke)

Casually cradles ur arms or back whenever ur falling asleep/tripping/being clumsy near him

Very warm and smoothed calloused hands

Thinks abt what he's about to say so hard/long, that the conversation's moved on by like, 3 rounds/subject changes by the time he's actually ready to talk

Scolds ppl (in like a sentence) who neglect their needs, like sleeping/eating/hygiene

Finds peace in nature, if hes ever upset, u can bet he's already taking a walk by a stream

Likes teaching u/other Links little skills he has, its nice to feel appreciated/needed for something other than fighting or big moments

He falls in love with small moments, like the first time u made them all a dessert recipe from ur world, or repaired First's scarf (for the millioneth time) and bc everyone had gotten their clothes scratched up, everyone needed repairs so most Links were sewing smth lol

Enjoys watching ppl experience smth for the first time, or even himself exp smth for first time

Fierce smiled fully for the first time when you got into the mountain hot springs in Wild's Hyrule for the first time and were super excited

Also the type to hold ur hand while stepping in to make sure u dont fall, or just subtly boost a Link that was abt to fall from climbing smth

Like for being the tallest, he's surprisingly sneaky, the energy of the biggest cat in the house yet somehow also the quietest

Does that thing where someone takes ur hand and like massages ur fingers, palm, wrist and shakes them out kinda for you <3

Twilight (Twilight Princess):

Trips UP the stairs.

Cold start LMAO

ok ill be nice to him,, sike

Easy to bully?? U mean that kindly, he's just such a golden retriever sometimes u cant help urself (tho u make sure to reign it in and not take advantage of it so as not to genuninely hurt him)

Lol likes to "herd" his favorite people, like those dogs livestock farmers have u kno that they say end up herding their owners/their family lol

Like making subtle circles around the Chain, wrapping an arm around Hyrule and teasing him to quietly bring him back into the group before he gets lost,

Tugs on Time's armor to slow him down, mf may be in armor head to toe but he'll outpace all of u 💀

Likes to put his hand on ur lower back to guide u back into the group from whatever scenic thing u got distracted by

(so sue you, ur literally in The Legend of Zelda's Hyrule, surrounded by pretty blondes, why tf wouldnt you be distracted all the time??)

The only time he doesnt herd actively is in Ordon, just subconciously lol <3

Terrible sleep schedule, but sleeps like the dead when he does, has collapsed with a limb on top of you and u couldnt escape

Hard time waking up in the morning despite being country boy, who usually have to do chores first thing in morning on a farm

hates/envious of Wild (up at 5am even on days off?? Foul.)

Runs warm, but complains abt a slight breeze?

Would sleep with no covers if it werent for morning dew

Wishes cats liked him more (its the wolf smell)

Twi has the constant energy of a tall person carefully maneuvering around cluttered/low doorways while someone a head shorter runs by him and bounces off of him

U get onto/scold the Links and he's immediately the first to just sit on the ground, or put down whatever he's holding no matter what he's doing LMAO 😭😭

Keeps his eyes on u too the whole time lol

Warriors (Hyrule Warriors):

Cries over romance novels/dramas

A virgo in all stereotypes of the word tbh

Invented the red-string conspiracy theory board before the red-string conspiracy board existed in Hyrule

Also likes to take care of your hair! (What?? He and 'Rulie don't fight over ur hair, that'd be childish, he's not a foolish boy- Hyrule, hand over the brush.👹)

Remembers the little things abt u type of person, like ur favorite drink, ur favorite stories like tv shows/books even if theyre from ur world, ur favorite clothing pieces like shorts vs. pants, etc.

The only Link who can single handedly claim he could take your closet and dress you in something you'd actually wear.

Wars wakes up stiff sometimes bc soldier training is sleeping on ur back, hands to ur sides, laying straight in ur bed, so as to fit into bunks/bedrolls close together

It got better as he was promoted to Captain, so he could have his own quarters but its still a hard habit to shake

One of the few Links who works up the courage to genuinely pitfully ask if you'd mind massaging his shoulders again? He slept badly last night, please?? 🥺👉👈

things about sae.

it's sae's turn in my brain microwave. i want to understand you, underlashes senior. headcanons +observation+ rambling. spoilers, will be updated as time goes on.

scathing, mean af vocabs. pretty rude even as a child. but compared to rin, his cursing seems to be much tamer.

is REALLY focused on soccer. but also said in the character interview to not "only be able to/focus on soccer like him".

but in his introduction to u20 shows that he seems to value someone who goes all in to soccer. and it's kind of in line with the things he "admits" and chided. example a: shidou and isagi being individuals who are undeniably soccer obsessed (though on isagi's case as they haven't even talk, if i remember correctly, this might be more because of isagi's way of winning through "making use of luck"). example b: things he said in the u20 introduction in response to sendou.

headcanonish but this guy is giving me "burnout gifted child" vibe with all the prodigal status, expectations, and being hit in the face by the world. like what are you. are you satisfied by marina??????

there are few moments where he displays something that is pretty close to 'praise', but say it not to the related person/group himself. (i.e. his thoughts of blue lock in locker room, his comment about "dont switch out any of the u20 member".)

like is he being not nice on purpose????? honestly probably. headcanonish, but if seeing his way of giving comments to rin pre-spain, it's been like that since he was little. (i will check rin's ln again later)

in contrast to rin having "natural luck", this guy seems to more " making/seeking luck". but idk yet, with only ice cream sticks as clues. sae backstory and ln spin off when.

his eyes during the confrontation with rin in that snowy night are pretty expressive. but since visual cues leave a really wide room for interpretation + bllk tendency to subvert things, i will not comment. but honestly i really agree with the sentiment that sae was hurt by rin's words, but in the end the discouragement seems to come more from a place of "i don't want you to get hurt so just go home and don't play soccer anymore" (very very hc and more of an interpretation, as sae's pov is still non existent)

people at blue lock think of him as someone who seems to be good at study, but looking at the pattern of hyperfocused people in blue lock it either goes two way: a) his skill at everything else is questionable at best, abysmall at worst ; b) he is an all-rounder indeed.

but then again there is also the third type aka "good at football, still functional at everything except communication and emotional management skill".

his way of talking in jp is, to put it simply, pretty casual like guys his age. the thing that are the rudest part of it was his choice of words and the fact that he seems to talk like this to everyone. even his elder. and also the way he is very blunt in expressing his opinion.

but somehow that bluntness is gone when it came to showing vulnerable emotions. talk about emotional constipation.

if his character interview is reliable and unbiased, as it is from sae's own pov, his relationship with his parents seems okay.

after spain his bang is gone. as in he just pushed them up. in u20 it still went down sometimes in a few panels.

he likes numbers. maybe he really is smart.

genuinely looking at him like "please get a hobby" not even as an insult but out of genuine concern. this dude has so many issues and the burnout child prodigy vibe is real strong with this one.

but not fully his fault. pretty much live alone overseas, probably with no friends his age and just a manager as his support system, went through a crisis, is a (probable) family loving guy with his family far away from him, then came home to his beloved lil bro he spoiled and dotted on and shared a dream with saying hurtful things to him on his lowest point. and not supporting his new decision and dream. from sae's pov, it's brutal.

i can defend rin on this too tho. honestly please talk to each other, itoshi bros. or acknowledge that maybe neither of you were in not in the best state of mind during that confrontation.

seems logical and he does likes numbers. but honestly, he just acts as he wants—look at how he talks to journalist, how he has 0 hesitation to leave an ongoing match.

went to spain at 13 according to rin's spin off novel. also mentioned to "hate to lose" and seems to be a strict perfectionist.

must be noted however that how rin sees him seems to be very biased. a bit of rin analysis/hc, but there seems to be "putting nii chan on a pedestal" going on there. how their childhood truly is from sae's perspective is still unknown. on rin's part tho, seems to be a very nice period.

is rich. so the snobby rich condescending guy aura is probably not that far from the truth. his sense of money seems to be a mess, as a few hundred millions is a small amount for him.

this guy seems to be picky with who he respects and he really doesn't hold back in disrespecting someone he doesn't. even higher ups and older people.

does skincare canonly.

doesn't seem to have friends so far...? (nel arc, before pxg match) but if we look at how rin is now, unsurprising.

in rin's novel, rin's physique is mentioned to be "better" than sae's actually. with how "rin wins in luck" while sae "loses" motive exist through the ice cream sticks, probably this motive will come up again when sae appears again.

More UT!Sans headcanons!

(these ones are romantic, meant to be during dating time.)

I’ve stated it before and I’ll stay it again, he is touch starved and most likely didn’t even realize he was until he just found himself unable to keep his arms off of you. i’ll elaborate more on the touches a bit further down, but i feel like he’d always want to have at-least one of his hands on you, even if simple like holding hands or his hand on your shoulder. i’m not really feeling like he’d be affectionate just because he’s touch starved, but rather that he would just be a bit disturbed to not be with your warm, soft skin. even just intertwining pinkies would comfort him. something that eases his mind and thoughts that after being alone for so long - you’re finally here with him.

i do also feel that he is (more of would become) very acts of service on the love language side. we know that he has to be able to cook and do basic household tasks since he assisted or fully raised papyrus, not to mention that papyrus wasn’t always doing cooking classes (and doesn’t even make edible food…) and would probably get prissy at the idea of eating at grillbys all the time for all 3 meals, so sans definitely had to cook somewhat. (sorry for that long elaboration). if you’ve had a long day at work he would definitely make you dinner. if you’re sick, guess what? he’ll make you soup. breakfast? no problem, he’ll willingly make it for you all the time just so that he can learn the way you like it. you’re doing the dishes? great. you wash them and he’ll dry.

he would just become very accustomed to acts of service once he’s dating you due to the fact that he would definitely self improve a bit (or a-lot) and would want to become accustomed to just doing things with you and helping, even if simple things like folding laundry by your side while you tell him about your day. to him, this wouldn’t just be some 40 minutes he spent doing chores with you, it would be 40 minutes of something he never got to have. the love and comfort he never got to experience. if papyrus ever chose to get a place of his own or wanted to stick around with you, i think sans would move in within a heartbeat. day to day life of being with you would become intoxicating, the one thing he wouldn’t mind reliving over and over again.

aside from his love languages, how does he like to feel loved?

again, physical touch. i know i established his love languages already (my interpretations, of course <3), and while i don’t think he’d care at all if you chose to show your love by giving him gifts, or praising and assuring him (he’d go nuts for that one), the relationship wouldn’t be very compatible without physical touch.

its just something i feel like he’d become addicted to, and i dont mean the physical affection from friends that he doesn’t really crave. he would crave only yours, the one of his lover. he’d look forward to little surprise smooches all over his skull, lipstick stains everywhere that he’d definitely brag about to his co-workers (he finally got bitches), and your hugs and cuddles throughout the day. he would become so in-love with it all, so in-love with you.

if you aren’t really a physical touch person, i feel like he’d be a bit more on the edge about dating you. not to say that you’re not compatible, because while not everyone is compatible (which is 100% okay), he is a fictional character and you can interpret his love language and demeanor any way you want. it’s just my own interpretation that physical touch would be something he’d seek from you, so there may not be a good chance anything romantic happens if you aren’t with that. if you do date and you’re not physically affectionate, he will try for you. he still loves you very much, more than himself, and would be willing to step down on the touch factor if you ask him, you are his lover after all.

he’d also feel very loved if you just thought about him. a very easy task, i know, but it would mean the world to him. if you offered to make him lunch before he goes to work then oh boy, you better believe that he’d show off what you made him to all his co-workers.

“today you guys, not one, but two whole juice boxes. orange you jealous?”

you get the gist. i’m not going to say it would be easy to love him, because he definitely has trauma and issues you’d both need to work on together to help him, but he’d feel loved in most ways you’d show him.

past traumas would be a bit of a slow burn with him.

so we know sans is depressed, definitely. while he’s not ‘i’m so sad and edgy my brother is dead and things keep repeating’ depressed IMO, he more so bottles up his feelings on his nihilism and stress that i worry one day he would just crumble under you. he doesn’t talk to anyone about his feelings, which papyrus does share this with us in the game. i think that his issues sleeping, his stress and other various things would build up the more he was around you, almost beginning to feel guilty for not opening up to you after you’ve started taking down your walls.

it would most likely be a night like many others, laying in bed intertwined in each others arms and talking until you both fell asleep, conversations about your day, how much you’d miss each other when one of you had to leave for work tomorrow, your future together, and he would just crumble down.

this is bold, i know. this is not something that would happen early on. over a year into the relationship minimum, if not more. after spilling his feelings and past traumas to you there wouldn’t really be any walls left from him. no more secrets or worries, just you and him.

he loooooves soft affections.

this one will be a bit shorter, but i wanted to drabble it in.

since he would like having his hands on you all the time i do like to imagine some of his favorites.

he’d love putting his hand on the small of your back to guide you. just in a gentle and calm manner, in no way is he ever physically rough with you with normal affection. he just likes to guide you sometimes, especially if you get sidetracked easy or like to wander around.

his hands would almost always be in your hair. short or long, he’d find hair enthralling. he’d like to brush it whenever you let him and just run his phalanges through it unconsciously anytime your head was in his range.

he would also do other simple things, like leaning over to buckle your seatbelt when you get in the car, tying your shoelaces if he sees they’re undone, tracing your figure while you sleep and grabbing you by your waist. all of the little affections he loves to give.

as for how he kisses ?

i’ve seen many variations on this.

i’ve seen a lot of authors (mostly wattpad… no hate though…) describe kissing him as though he has lips. im sorry, i 100% disagree.

his teeth (mouth ?) only even move from his permanent smile when he’s heavily injured, so the idea that they can just somehow kiss like lips is a tad bit bonkers. he’d honestly think you’d rule out kisses in general with him since he has no lips to kiss, but would be pleasantly surprised that you enjoyed the little bonks.

since he is just a bit of a flat teeth surface, his kisses don’t feel like lips, but rather warm and tingly magic thats a bit pleasurable and nice to the touch, very similar to the feeling of butterflies in your stomach. you’d probably get a bit of a high off of it if you kissed him enough. since monster motivation is about intent (such as with fighting), i don’t see why kissing and intimacy would be any different. the more he wants to kiss you the better the little mouth bumps on him would feel to you, not that it still wouldn’t feel like kissing a wall, though. he would enjoy to pepper you with little skeleton kisses, and would enjoy your soft kisses as well. i could definitely see him always egging you for just one more kiss before you get up and leave him to go somewhere. as for my thoughts on a tongue with kissing for him, that is a prompt idea for another headcanon list…
