I want to see characters being taken care of in an explicit and worshipful way. Home-cooked meals. Hair brushed and braided by gentle hands. Little gifts just because.

I want to read about characters who are not used to kindness being bombarded by acts of service. This trope works romantically and platonically. Give me found family and acts of service - all the ways a character is wrapped up in wordless, explicit care after years of cruelty and having no idea how to handle. I need it.

all the people who are like 'x aspect of aziracrow's relationship is unhealthy.' my guy they've spent the past 6000 years pining over each other while pretending they both don't like each other and don't know each other and are constantly terrified of the forces of heaven and hell finding out their relationship. they're afraid to even touch each other and every brush of their hands has to be done under some sort of guise. every time they're near each other they are looking over their shoulders and have only in the past four of 6000 years felt mildly comfortable admitting they're friends. do you think this is the setup for a healthy and normal relationship

I cannot overstate the net positive impact these two have had on my emotional and mental health.

no but the thing is. they KISSED. on screen. it was a real scene, not deleted, not removed from a script, it HAPPENED in front of the world's eyes. and AND the actors are normal about it and the whole cast and crew is normal about it and it's not vague and it's IMPORTANT. no matter the rest of it and what came after it, it happened!!
