Okay this is honestly a really minor thing but it's been bugging me when I read RWRB fics
Prince of Wales is the title given to the male heir apparent of the British monarchy
The children of the heir apparent are Prince/Princess xxx of Wales
These two are different
To use a real-life example real quick, the children of Prince William and Kate Middleton are Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis of Wales, but the Prince of Wales is William. Before that, the kids were Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis of Cambridge because William's primary title was Duke of Cambridge
So back to RWRB
In the book, Henry is Prince Henry of Wales, but he is not the Prince of Wales. His mother Catherine is the Princess of Wales, and when she is queen Philip will be the Prince of Wales. (Even that's not entirely accurate because there isn't a designated title for a female heir apparent, and Princess of Wales is for the wife of the Prince of Wales, I'm guessing because before 2011 older sisters ranked lower than their younger brothers in the line of succession)
So the movie changing Catherine to Duchess of Edinburgh and Philip to Duke of Cambridge actually is closer to reality, in that case, Movie Henry's full title should be HRH Prince Henry of Edinburgh
Which is kinda nice since Nick's acting career started with him doing a version of Spring Awakening in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival
Yeah again it's a minor thing but I'm a nerd about this stuff so yeah

Rules of the Style British Princess
The full Wiki article is in the link. However, I include this excerpt here below, as there is some speculation that if the Sussex dukedom was revoked that there would be a Princess Henry of Wales. LOL! That would make William, Harry's father....
This is ABSOLUTELY not correct. It would be Princess Henry. That is all. That is what the rules say.
Alternatively, before HM passed, it could have been Princess Henry of (Charles' highest Dukedom). While the Prince of Wales, Charles was the Duke of Cornwall, so if he was still so, it would be Princess Henry of Cornwall. Since that Dukedom has now passed to William, and Charles is now King she has no right to Cornwall. That is because William's children are the Princes and Princess of Cambridge, Cornwall and Wales. While it would NOT be technically correct, if anything at all it could be Princess Henry of Lancaster.
So if the dukedom is revoked before the divorce, she would be Princess Henry, with NO peerage at all. And in a subsequent divorce, she would be Meghan Mountbatten-Windsor (divorced surname) and he would likely revert to Prince Henry of Lancaster, with the option of being conferred a new dukedom on a second marriage.
Also to make sure everyone is straight about this, there is no Princess Catherine. She is Catherine, The Princess of Wales or alternatively The Princess William. Only blood princesses are called by Princess.... e.g. Princess Anne, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Princess Alexandra, Princess Charlotte, and Princess Louise (should she wish to be titled so).
While Lili was not a princess at birth, technically with Charles on the throne, she has indeed been elevated to Princess Lili, but I suspect only IF she is born of the body and there is proof of that. Which evidence to this point remains entirely elusive which is most likely why Charles has done nothing about it.
Of course there are exceptions to the rules, where loving fathers and grandfathers conferred elevated titles on daughters and granddaughters. You can read about them in the link.
Excerpt:
Princesses by marriage[edit]
A princess by marriage is addressed as "Princess Husband's name"; this is akin to a woman being referred to as "Mrs. John Smith".[1] The only recent time this has broken tradition is with the sovereign's express consent. Namely, with Queen Elizabeth II's aunts Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester, and Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent. The former was not a princess by birth, while the latter was born a princess of Greece and Denmark. Both women asked the Queen to use their given names after their husbands' deaths.[7]
Wife of a prince who has a peerage: HRH The Duchess/Countess of X, or, prior to 1917, possibly HH
Since 1996, divorced wife of a prince who held a peerage: N, Duchess/Countess of X. (e.g. Diana, Princess of Wales, and Sarah, Duchess of York)
Wife of a son of a Sovereign, who has no peerage: HRH The Princess Husband.
Wife of another prince who has no peerage: HRH Princess Husband of X. (X usually taken from father's Dukedom)
Prior to 1917, the wife of a prince in the third generation, who has no peerage: HH Princess Husband of X.

HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY PRINCESS CHARLOTTE ELIZABETH DIANA!
On May 2nd 2015, HRH The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to her second child and only daughter, Charlotte, weighing 8lb 3oz. Charlotte is fourth in line to the throne and made history when she was the first female member of the British Royal Family not to be overtaken in the line of succession by her younger brother. Charlotte attends Thomas's School, with her older brother George. Charlotte is known to like the outdoors, like her siblings, as well as ballet. Her first word in public was 'POP' and she has been photographed with flowers, balloons, and butterflies on more than one occasion. Her father described her as a "joy of heaven" while she has often been photographed showing she has inherited her parents' more fun side. We also know she loves pizza and olives

To clarify, it is NOT common practice for the spouses of blood members of the Royal Family to attend when a family member is dying.
An exception was made for HRH Sophie Countess of Wessex as HM Queen Elizabeth II was incredibly close to her and considered her a second daughter.
TRH The Prince and Princess of Wales Prince William and Catherine Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge made the correct decision for her to remain in Windsor with their children TRH Prince George of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales and Prince Louis of Wales. In the case of the Princess of Wales, it is likely the same decision would have been made as she was also held in high esteem and beloved of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
No exception needed to be made for Meghan as the spouse of Prince Harry, she was not blood-related to HM Queen Elizabeth II. This means that members of the family related by blood can pay their respects first, there is a proviso to this in that HM Queen Camilla and HRH Catherine Princess of Wales will still take precedence if they wish to pay their respects.

I think the reason she wants the photo of lilibet meets lilbet because Queen's portrait with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren become massively popular especially “Queen and Charlotte's caught attention as she was sitting on Queen's lap on that portrait and she looks similar to queen in features as well” that's one of the reasons she paid people to update childhood photo of Queen to showcase lili is similar looking to Queen. And I don't understand her obsession with Princess Charlotte, first she makes her cry, then she wants photo with Cambridge kids, later she publish lilies first birthday pic which resemblance Cambridge style in grass, lastly the picture with the Queen. TBh I feel bad for both kids, for Archie because she isn't giving attention as much as lily, and for lili because she doesn't want to lili to grow with her own personality, she is competing in this as well! Her with Catherine and she wants lili with Charlotte, it's completely sickening.
I think a lot of the obsession with Charlotte is that Charlotte looks EXACTLY like William, which means she has a lot of Diana’s features. She is also and HRH Princess…which Lili is not and most likely never will be.
Plus, Charlotte was named after Diana first. I think Meghan hates that she has to use the name second.
Honestly I’m surprised they are pushing “TQ & Lili are twins” PR. I figured they would go hard for Diana. But this tells me that they are trying to get something from TQ along with attention.
When all of those family photos came out after PP died, I’ll bet Meghan was spitting nails. So they decide to waltz up to Windsor with their own photographer to get the same photos with TQ. Not thinking that since they demanded to be private citizens they no longer get to make things public about TQ.

Queen Elizabeth II death: Who is in the Queen's family tree?
Tumblr media
The House of Windsor, as we understand it nowadays, started in 1917 whilst its own circle of relatives modified its call from the German "Saxe-Coburg-Gotha." Queen Elizabeth's grandfather, King George V, became the primary Windsor monarch. Meanwhile, it is essential; that the royals we see today are the descendants of King George and Queen Mary.
Queen Elizabeth's grandmother Queen Mary turned into a royal through birth; her great-grandfather turned into King George III. Edward, the eldest son of George V and Queen Mary, became King after her father's loss of life in 1936 which threw the country into crisis months later when he proposed to Wallis Simpson, an American divorced socialite.
There was no split between church and state at that time. As a result, Edward was the head of the Church of England, which at the time, divorced people were not allowed to remarry, and thus his marriage was opposed.
After only one year on the throne, Edward III voluntarily abdicated the throne addressing the nation on the radio with these words; "I have found it impossible to carry on the heavy burden of responsibility and to discharge the duties of the king, as I would wish to do, without the help and support of the woman I love."
His more youthful brother, the duke of York, was proclaimed King George VI on December 12.
The Queen became the 6th lady to ascend the British throne in February 1952, after his father, King George IV, passed away. She served the British monarchy for over 70 years.
Following Queen Elizabeth II death at 96, her eldest son immediately ascends the throne as the King of the British monarchy, putting his eldest son, Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, first in line to the throne.
Regarding marital relationships, Queen Elizabeth married her third cousin, Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh, in November 1947, who both were Queen Victoria's great-great-grandchild.
Queen Elizabeth had only sibling sister, Princess Margret, Countess of Snowdown, who died in 2002.
Among her children, Prince Charles was the prospective heir to the throne at the age of three and married Princess Diana from 1981 to 1996, with whom they had two children; Prince William and Harry.
Princess Diana's death was caused by a car crash in France's Capital, Paris, along with the Egyptian film producer Dodi Fayed and driver Henri Paul.
Prince William, Duke of Cornwall and Cambridge, heir apparent to the British throne, married Catherine Elizabeth Middleton in 2011 at West minster Abbey. The couples have three children together; Prince George, 9; Princess Charlotte, 7; Prince Louis, 4.
Prince Harry, real name (Henry Albert David), was born September 15, 1984, a member of the British royal family and fifth to the line of successors to the British throne. He underwent Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
Prince Harry married Meghan Markle in 2018 at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.
Under the protocols started by King George V in 1917, the youngsters and grandchildren of a sovereign have to be automatically called Her Royal Highness or His Royal Highness (HRH) and prince or princess.
According to the British media reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, is now technically a prince following the demise of the Queen- a name which Meghan controversially claimed became formerly denied to him due to the race he belongs to.
His more youthful sister, Lilibet` Lili' Mountbatten-Windsor, is likewise entitled to be a princess following the demise of the Queen and, together with her grandfather, the Prince of Wales, turning into King.
Other close relative includes Prince Andrew, Duke of York, 62, the third of the Queen's four children and nine to the throne. He served in the British Royal Navy for 22 years, and during the Falklands War, he served as a helicopter pilot.
Princess Beatrice, 10th in the line of succession to the British throne, married real estate developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a non-public rite in July 2020.
Princess Eugenie, the younger York sister as described royally, is the 12th in the line of succession after her cousin Prince Harry.
The Queen's next of Kin also consists of Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, Prince Eugenie, Lady Louise Windsor, and Anne, Princess Royal, among many other ascendants and descendants.
