Someone sue HBO and House of the Dragon for doing another dark episode that we can’t see anything. It took away from Rhaenyra and Daemon’s conversation they had together because we couldn’t see their faces AND the first time Aemond rides Vhagar. I hate it here.

Alicent was manipulated by her father and she feels constantly undermined when she follows the societal rules in Westeros and Rhaenyra gets everything she wants while breaking all the rules. I do not condone her “eye for an eye” style of justice but you can sympathise on where she’s coming from.

so that daemyra scene is actually underwhelming after everything i read. it just makes no sense.
i’ve been reading for the whole day about people now hating daemon for it, when it literally makes no sense. daemon had so many chances to hurt her, to kill her and take the inheritance he wanted. he has literally proven so many times that he wanted her, not the crown. and now, out of the blue, he chokes her because she wants to bend the knee and keep the peace? dude this isn’t daemon. it’s so out of character it didn’t even feel real. daemon is so far from being a saint of course, but damn that wasn’t him.
#so many writers do this when the villain coded character in their show ends up being the fan favourite#(as if you didn’t know you had a mentally unstable audience people)#they make them do the most horrible and out of character things#and somehow most of the audiences till loves them#i honestly don’t know what they gain from this but anyway#it’s just bad writing#also him not being there for the birth?? like?#one episode ago he was holding rhaenyra’s hand as his fucking lifeline 24/7#now he won’t even stay with her whrn their baby dies? he chokes her??#yeah sure makes so much sense#idk i’m just. i don’t even know. it feels like it was a really amazing finale#and then there were these scenes that felt literally out of a different show#but anyway#hotd#house of the dragon#daemon targaryen#rhaenyra targaryen#daemyra#hotd spoilers#hotd leaks

Spoilers for episode 7 of HOTD but I only have a few thoughts about the new episode:
One. I’m glad that they changed Leanors ending so he could live and go live his happy gay life so so happy for him and glad he’ll be one of the few happy endings I hope.
Two. How does leanor leaving his dragon behind like work??? Like does his dragon sense he’s still alive and won’t take another rider or what’s going on with that?
Three. As happy as I am for Leanor my heart hurts SO bad for Rhaenys please almost cried my eyes out when she was crying over “leanors” body
Finally, all the other kids literally beating the shit out of Aemond was literally so funny to me
