Teenager charged with plotting Satanic terror attack on homeless person
By Martin Evans, 3 April 2024 8:00pm
18-year-old alleged to be member of organisation with links to Nazi occult group and is remanded in custody
A teenager has appeared in court accused of plotting a Satanic terror attack against a homeless person.
Cameron Finnegan, 18, was arrested last month following an investigation by detectives from Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE).
The defendant, from Horsham in West Sussex, is accused of being a member of an extremist Right-wing Satanic online organisation called 764, which has alleged links to a Nazi occult group known as the Order of Nine Angels (ONA).
The groups have been linked to several terror investigations in Britain and the United States and allegedly promote murder, sexual abuse, self-harm, and terrorism.
It is alleged that when the teenager was arrested, he was in possession of a terrorist "kill guide" and was plotting to attack a homeless person who was living in a tent.
Defendant also faces child pornography charge
Mr Finnegan, who lives with his sister and adoptive parents in a £1 million home, was also arrested on suspicion of possessing indecent images of a child.
He was arrested on March 26 and charged on Wednesday.
He was charged with one count of preparation of terrorist acts, one count of possessing information likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism, and one count of possessing indecent images of a child.
Appearing at Westminster magistrates' court on Wednesday, he spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
He was remanded in custody until his next court appearance at the Old Bailey on April 12.
The ONA was founded in the UK in the 1970s and has links to Nazism, starting its calender from the birth of Adolf Hitler.

Pub-Ticking
I got the latest edition of the Good Beer Guide for Christmas and decided to begin my planned pub-ticking career for a short day trip to knock off a few local entries. This was on 28 December.
I visited five pubs across Horley, Horsham and Crawley. Although I have been to some of the GBG pubs before I think it makes sense to start from scratch.
Pub 1: The Jack Fairman (Horley) - This is a Wetherspoons pub in the middle of Horley that showcases a fairly wide range of beers. I had a well kept stout that was the usual Wetherspoons good value. When I went the pub was fairly busy even though it was still the morning
Pub 2: The Anchor Tap (Horsham) - This is a small one room pub in the middle of Horsham which had three beers on. I had the ‘Quiet’ which was on the pricey side for local beers but was very nice.
Pub 3: The Kings Arms (Horsham) - This pub is on the north of Horsham and, after managing to cross the busy road to get there, is a pleasant rambling pub with (I think) three beers on. I had the Black Cherry Mild which went down well. The pub wasn’t overly busy but then I was there in mid-afternoon.
Pub 4: The Malt Shovel (Horsham) - A busy pub on the outskirts of town with a wide range of beers available. I had a well kept Albury Ruby and just about managed to find a table. This was a winner.
Pub 5: The Brewery Shades (Crawley) - How did I not know about this. A superb busy pub in the middle of Old Crawley which had a very eclectic range of beers. The Stollen flavour Fairytale of Brew York went down very well. Overall a superb pub that I must try to visit again

~4/12/2022~ Photos from a jaunt to Horsham ^^ Once again was in need of a slow start - tried not to put too much pressure on myself to get things done. It was super cold even by my standards - ended up getting back into bed and pulling Miss Bella back onto my lap to warm me 🐈‍⬛💜❄️ Once I headed out for the day put on my thermal leggings for the first time this year :o Went on the bus to East Grinstead for a wander. Brought my kindle with me and actually managed to start and finish a whole book! - Michael Rosen’s ‘Many Different Kinds of Love’ - about the poet’s experience of being treated on the ICU for covid at the beginning of the pandemic - my autistic brain doesn’t usually get on very well with poetry, but would really recommend this book - I think it will be a key piece of literature in history one day! Once I got to EG walked to McDs to get some lunch as Greggs was closed (noticed quite a few Greggs are closed on a Sunday - definitely don’t approve). After having something to eat, continued my walk, then sat in Caffè Nero to continue with compiling my uni timeline as had brought my laptop with me - every bit I add to it just seems to take longer and longer :/ Got the bus home, then spent the entire evening bleaching my roots and toning my hair - had L to help me with some it - it’s always such a process - definitely going to leave it 3 months again from now on - my hair growth def isn’t what it was since having covid… 🦄 #instadaily #instablog #update #mentalhealth #dissociativeidentitydisorder #cptsd #autism #traumarecovery #edrecovery #anxiety #chronicillness #disability #pots #potsie #dysautonomia #positivevibes #recovery #collage #horsham #prettythings #autumnal #autumnwinter #dreamhome #cottagecore #pumpkinspiceseason #cottagecoreaesthetic #winterwalks #cosyvibes (at Horsham) https://www.instagram.com/p/ClydkkIKdsabOcDBGtJKQZ6_vujHv7pQGms-UQ0/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

The Brown Bread Act, commonly known by sceptical housewives as 'the Poison Act', banned millers from making anything but wholemeal flour in 1800. In Horsham, Sussex, a women's riot went to the windmill:
A number of women proceeded to Gosden wind-mill where, abusing the Miller for having served them with brown flour they seized on the cloth with which he was then dressing meal, according to the directions of the Bread Act, and cut it into a thousand pieces; threatening at the same time to serve all similar utensils he might in future attempt to use in the same manner. The Amazonian leader of this petticoated cavalcade afterwards regaled her associates with a Guinea's worth of liquor at the Crab Tree public house.

St Leonard’s Day
Tumblr media
The Dragon Slayer by Hans of Marees (1880). Source: Alamy Stock Photos
Today is St Leonard’s Day. Leonard, who was of more martial disposition than the average saint, came to Horsham in Sussex to rid the local woods of a dragon. This he managed to do but in the fight he sustained a serious wound. His blood splashed on some lilies of the valley, which then populated and extensive area of the woodland called The Lily Beds, which bloom to this day. to this day. The forest also became known as St Leonard’s Forest thereafter. Despite Leonard’s monster-killing feat, stories of creatures lurking in the St Leonard’s woods persist. Most well known is the creepy figure of Squire Paulett, an invisible poltergeist who will leap down onto the backs of travelling riders, hugging their torsos until they are clear of the woods. With fewer horsemen and women traversing the woods these days, Paulett has been more quiet, but the phantom’s origins and motivation for his haunting remains a mystery.
