The only two without giant smiles are Tee and Non. I didn't think I would ever say this, but I think Tee is the only one who has really recognized that he was wrong and just doesn't know how to show that or actually be better. He has been nicer to Non. I know in this scene he pushes the work onto Non but I wonder if he is really just trying to make sure Non can make his movie the way he wants? Everyone knew what this movie meant to Non. And I don't know why else he would want Non to work on it since he is supposed to be doing the horse accounts for Tee. Like he seems like he feels guilty. And most everyone else doesn't seem like they feel guilty for anything. This is not to say that Tee is having a redemption arch, but I do think that Non was what made Tee change into the person that White knows. This change may have happened after Non disappeared, but I'm sure Nons the reason for it. Also, i think the fact Non acknowledged Tee as a human that deserves more than the gang is really important.

Do you know any horror themed bls?? I’m a huge fan of horror and but oddly enough I’ve never seen. a proper Combo of the two. I don’t mean soft core horror /mystery like eclipse but something legitimately terrifying .
The only thing I can think of that comes close to what I’m looking for is the haunting if hill house , season 2 specifically, and it wasn’t bl but it was Lgbt themed and i loved it.
I surprised there aren’t more horror themed thai bls considering the fact that thais are notorious for their incredible/haunting horror movies. Do you have any theories for this?? It just seems like a no brainer /money maker to combine two genres they’re known for

Just finished reading Vol 1 of The Summer Hikaru Died and I couldn't stop thinking about it so I made a playlist on Spotify!
I loved the vibes of this story and the art was *chef's kiss*. This book was filled with the overbearing sounds of the cicadas in the dead of summer and the beautiful yet creepy loneliness of the surrounding rural Japanese countryside. It set the background for the main character's grief and doubts of whether to trust his best friend who has come back changed after going missing in the mountains. The paranoia and sheer terror in the realization that what once was familiar is now disturbing and strange is perfectly encapsulated in this story. It made for the perfect summer horror read and I can't wait to get volume 2 in October!

holy fuck the first episode of dff was GOOD. i love trashy splatter movies with my whole heart and having a mix of that (with realistic-looking gore!), probably a convoluted revenge plot plus great acting, chemistry (🥴) and fitting music choices...... i'm in heaven. they hit the nail on the head with the atmosphere and cast!!!!!

The fact that, central to the horror of Shadow, are two gay characters who were outed by their classmates for falling in love with someone that did not, or could not, love them back and thus that creates the horror that haunts this school just as badly as the older ghosts do, that the wild ghosts may have floated up on shore in honor of tradition but it's the new religion that crossed on ocean that has brought the true horror and haunting to their own halls with their own hatred... Trin and Nai are the ones with the ghosts, the ghost and the one who sees, the love that could not be and the love that did, or nearly did, destroy them not because of love but because of hate.
