And you're asking how the Easter parade in Gatlinburg went

INSIDE CATTANOOGA KLATSCHE, GATLINBURG, TN: To answer such a question as many of you were probably asking ... With partly cloudy skies for the most part, the day turning out rather beautiful, many of the trees in the Smoky Mountains starting to go into bloom for the most part, and a few of the black bears starting to come forth from hibernation.

It may not have been the Pasadena Doo-Dah Parade, or even those on the likes of New York's Fifth Avenue or the Atlantic City Boardwalk (especially in earlier, more glamourous times), but the choice of route (as in the section of the Parkway between the split of US 411 and 441 and the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park--more or less Beautiful Downtown Gatlinburg, to paraphrase Gary Owens from back on Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In back in the day) pretty much attracted considerable curiosity from the Easter weekend crowd in the Queen Mother of Tourist Traps.

In keeping with Easter Parade tradition, it was more or less walkabout all along the Parkway, waving to the somewhat confused crowd wondering what the whole was about to begin with (though you had plenty of meet-and-greet and selfie opportunities among the characters). Naturally, the Cattanooga Cats "themselves" led the parade, real informal like, no welcoming banner ... but even then, Kitty Jo couldn't resist the selfie opportunities. Or even Scoots, for that matter; it seems Scoots, considering his modest stature, must have something of a liking, even if his storytelling wasn't fascinating enow.

And you could imagine the reaction of the crowd to the presence of yours truly, Huckleberry Hound and Crazy Claws strolling the Parkway ... or even Augie Doggie on the shoulders of his doting Doggie Daddy ... Top Cat and clowder, with Choo-Choo and Fancy-Fancy getting their share of fan attraction ... Peter Potamus and his diving enterouge, with plenty of the crowd rather surprised that Peter was an amazing diver in his own right ... Penelope Pitstop, kissing plenty of spectators ... those Banana Splits, quite the cutups (even Drooper going into the "Super Drooper" routine near the Gatlinburg Space Needle, to the bemusement of fans) ... Scooby-Doo and crew ... perennial crowd favourites, the Hair Bear Bunch ... Lori, Gator, Braveheart and Inch High, Private Eye ... Hong Kong Phooey, with a silly little tweaking of tai ch'i ... Captain Caveman and his cousins, the Slag Brothers, "going ape" and liking it ... you couldn't help but resist the Skatebirds going the inline-skating act ... even Kwicky Koala taking things a bit on the Aussie side by throwing Cherry Ripe and Freddo Frog bars to the crowd, as well as packets of Throaties (a popular Australian brand of throat drops), not to mention The Bungle Brothers doing Abbott and Costello justice with their "Who's on First?" routine with George in Bud Abbott's role and Joey doing Lou Costello's.

(Seems that for some reason, some in the crowd were rather surprised to discover what said Cherry Ripe bars were like, basically mashed cherries, dessicated coconut and dark chocolate. And for a lucky few, Kwicky "himself" passed out boxes of classic Australian snack crackers Jatz and Vita-Weat.)

After the parade ended, or some resemblance thereof, Kwicky Koala got out a box of another iconic Australian staple--Sanitarium Weet-Bix cereal, not quite Shredded Wheat but rather interesting by itself. Even if they turned out a little like glue in the end.

And the Cattanooga Cats dishing up typically Southern smoked ham for dinner, along with cheesy hash browns, green bean hot dish--and Kitty Jo's storied chess pie for dessert. Washed down with lemonade blended with hibiscus flower extract--what could get more interesting, to begin with?

And you can imagine how the crowd felt at the sight of the parade, otherwise not promoted well beforehand.

Why “WONWOO’s Diary” is SEVENTEEN’s best episode of the year

Yi Yunju (PLEDIS Marketing 1 team head): I think the “WONWOO’s Diary” episode of GOING SEVENTEEN was something only SEVENTEEN could ever pull off. The whole thing was made possible thanks to their sense of humor and their trustworthy acting skills. The members usually always pull GOING SEVENTEEN along, but their short skits and fake documentaries like “WONWOO’s Diary” are especially improvised, so there’s more raw fun. We have a teaser series for GOING SEVENTEEN called GGOYO-ILER, and in the teaser for this episode, WONWOO was dressed in summer clothes. But it was an intentionally misleading teaser. (laughs) We worked extra hard to make it impossible to guess from the preview what happens in the actual episode since it’s full of extraordinary characters.

They are SEVENTEEN

Yi Yunju: The whole structure of the episode was based on what the members improvised. We just gave them a general outline and the rest is all thanks to their skills. Now they don’t even feel flustered if we just, you know, throw them into a random situation. (laughs) I think the highlight is when Yoon Nieun (JEONGHAN) and Jo Giyeok (JOSHUA) are on-screen together. Previous episodes of GOING SEVENTEEN showed JEONGHAN to be a strategist and a master of mind games, while JOSHUA’s been painted as someone who very occasionally can’t hide his crazy side. We expected them to be a duo of handsome, lazy bums, but they did even better with their characters than expected. One of them stops in the middle of washing their hair and says things like, “You want? (Do you want to wash your hair?)” and, “Look Tho (You look like Thomas).” We never expected them to say such iconic lines. They really took abbreviations to a new level. Whenever we shoot the show, it never goes as expected. (laughs)

Behind the scenes of “WONWOO’s Diary”

Yi Yunju: You can see in “WONWON’s Diary” that there’s so many different kinds of people living in the town of Seong-ri, and they all have the same goal, which is to be on National Singing Contest. I think it can be seen as a metaphor for the way the 13 members of SEVENTEEN are all working toward the same goal together. This episode also showed us how serious fans are about GOING SEVENTEEN. We had absolutely no idea the “WONWOO’s Diary” episode would end up spawning a spooky story about Sevong-ri. It was fun to see them coming up with their own analysis that went beyond the content itself. S.COUPS was originally supposed to be a scarecrow who protects Sevong-ri, actually. He was going to be this scarecrow who’s everywhere in the town and so he knows all of its secrets. Seeing how popular the spooky story became makes me wonder what the episode would’ve been like if he had ended up playing that character after all.

GOING UNIVERSE

Yi Yunju: One of our goals is to create a big fictional universe that exists solely inside GOING SEVENTEEN. We want the episodes to connect in a way that the memes and characters from one episode carry over into the next ones. Fans really liked the character Fe Turin (DINO) when he first appeared at the group’s fan meeting, CARAT LAND, in a video called What on Earth. I always thought it was a shame to just let go of the character and “WONWOO’s Diary” was the perfect opportunity to bring him back. (laughs) And it isn’t just Fe Turin—there’s also the song “Zero Step” as sung by Jo Eulho (HOSHI), which is like an early version of “One Step,” a song Dan Dara (DK) and Hong Heungho (HOSHI) sang in another CARAT LAND video titled “Boo Drop Guru.” In the case of “Zero Step,” HOSHI was on set and trying to figure out what would be a good song to sing. Seeing as Jo Eulho’s a trot singer, it was a perfect fit, so that’s what we ended up going with. Fe Turin even made an appearance during their latest stadium tour (laughs) and I hope we can have more chances to take the fun things that get their start in the GOING UNIVERSE and give them to the fans.

What to expect next from GOING SEVENTEEN

Yi Yunju: The group members and the staff are always working to make sure GOING SEVENTEEN is always full of laughs without crossing the line. The members get fully immersed in each episode but they never say or do anything that would hurt each other. I think people naturally get a look into the real teamwork SEVENTEEN has by watching the show because they’re always so considerate. It’s amazing that there’s so many fans of GOING SEVENTEEN that there’s even a whole separate fandom, CUBIC, and we’re so grateful for that. I feel sorry that we couldn’t make as many episodes toward the end of the year since things are getting busy again with the endemic phase approaching. We’ll be back with a refreshed and more diversified GOING SEVENTEEN next year, so I hope everyone’s looking forward to it!

The Murder Case Of Abby Choi

A 28-year-old model Choi had more than 150,000 Instagram followers. Her most recent post, on February 15, included a picture shoot she had done with the fashion magazine L'Officiel Monaco. 

"From Hong Kong to the cover of L'Officiel Monaco, my journey as a style icon continues," she wrote. "Grateful for this recognition and the continued support along the way."

Bernard Cheng, a friend of Choi's, said that she had four children: two daughters, aged 8 and 6, and two sons, aged 3 and 10. The two older children were born to Kwong, 28, and the two younger ones to her present spouse, Chris Tam.

Friend Pao Jo-yee recounted Tam's comments on Facebook, saying that he was grateful to have Choi in his life and commended her for being encouraging.

He was reported as adding in the post, "When Abby was alive, she was a very kind person and always wanted to help people," "I feel anyone who had a chance to be her family or her friend are blessed."

Model Abby Choi was brutally killed and dismembered in Hong Kong, and on Tuesday, authorities in that city said that a woman had been detained in mainland China on suspicion of helping a suspect in the crime.

Seven persons have now been accused of being engaged in the crime following the arrest of the 29-year-old lady. According to the police, she allegedly helped another suspect before escaping to mainland China. On Tuesday, they reported that she had been turned over to Hong Kong police at Shenzhen Bay Port.

The gruesome murder of Choi, 28, has shocked many in Hong Kong and on the Chinese mainland since violent crime is extremely rare in the semi-autonomous city.

Police discovered body parts at a home rented by Kwong Kau in a Hong Kong district close to the border with mainland China last week, leading to the accusation of murder against her ex-husband, Alex Kwong, his father, Kwong Kau, and his brother, Anthony Kwong. Jenny Li, the mother of Alex Kwong, is charged with one count of perverting the course of justice. They were all held without bond.

Two other people were detained by police on suspicion of helping other suspects in the investigation.

Choi vanished on February 21, according to a subsequent police investigation.

After some searching, authorities discovered her dismembered remains in a refrigerator at a home rented by Kwong Kau in Lung Mei Tsuen, a neighborhood of Hong Kong located about 30 minutes from the border with mainland China.

Police confiscated a cooking pot from the home and found a young woman's skull inside that was thought to belong to Choi. Authorities think that the deadly strike struck her where there is a hole on the right back of the skull.

An electric saw and a meat grinder that had previously been used to mince human flesh were present in the home, police superintendent Alan Chung said.

Two pots of stew that were left at the site were "suspected to contain human tissue," the witness continued.

According to investigators, Choi and her ex-husband and his family had financial disagreements amounting to tens of millions of Hong Kong dollars (millions of dollars), and "certain individuals" were not pleased with the way Choi managed her funds.

"Epic Showdown: Red Bull Lords of The Floor 2024 The upcoming event is scheduled for 2024 at the WaMu Theater in Seattle, Washington, promising to bring to battle the crème de la crème of the breaking scene. A select group of elite breakers, including Olympic athletes B-Boy Victor and B-Girl India, alongside the renowned Hong 10, is set to compete. However, this is just a glimpse of the exceptional talent poised to grace the floor. This competition also boasts appearances d from the 2001 Lords of the Floor competitors. Among the number are the Massive Monkees— A world-renowned hip-hop crew comprising DJs, emcees, and, notably, over 30 accomplished b-boys and b-girls. One of the best thing about Kunal Karan Kapoor is, he makes sure not to be type cast and there is a growth in him as an artist.

19 years of a journey with some ups and downs and he still keeps that fire in him and the passion for his craft alive. It felt!!

The spark in his eyes, the restless body language and that smile when he has a new project, which he is excited about. Is precious!!!

This year we decided to donate and celebrate Kunal Karan Kapoor's birthday at Akhil Bhartiya Netrahin Sangh.

It's a school and hostel for blind kids, totally free of cost for students. Runs solely on public donation. Apart from education, they work on children's skill development. Train them in making LED bulbs, Candles and chairs etc.

They also provide employment to widows. They sell achar, cleaning products and sanitisers etc. made by them.

Something we all can learn from them is finding happiness in the small little things. Just look at their precious smiles.

We decided to give people in need prashad outside Mandir and packs of samosa & jalebi outside Masjid. Prayers for Kunal Karan Kapoor in all 4 Dhrama by lighting up a light in his name in a church and kadha prashad in Gufudwara.  May the almighty bless him, fill his life with peace, happiness, love, good health and success.
