Okay mutuals. Gonna be getting a 9mm handgun for a HD/bedside gun, a night vision gun, and a general open carry/innawoods/hiking gun. The gun is getting an RMR and X300V. What do I get?
For those of you who think the kind of collapse happening in South Africa will not happen in the USA...
"1. Notice how they attempt to use concealment.
2. Some stories said they moved like dogs to avoid setting off the sensors (probably just ducking).
3. Cameras with motion sensors covering the perimeter provided a lot of warning. Imagine what triplines with fireworks or blanks could do (deterrence & warning).
4. Dude is smart, he doesn't breach his perimeter and calls for help."
I own an Service Rifle for home defense since that's what President Tandi intended. Four fiends break into my house. "What the Dharma!?!" I grab my trooper helmet and service rifle and blow a thumb sized hole in the first fiend, he's dead on the spot. I draw my 9mm pistol and miss him entirely since it's 9mm, and hit the neighbor's mongrel. I have to resort to the anti-material rifle hidden at the top of the stairs loaded with explosive ammunition. "Tally ho!" The blast shreds two men in the blast and angers brahmin all over the street. I pull out the combat knife on my belt and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He bleeds out while waiting for the Followers to arrive because knife wounds to the throat are impossible to stich up. Just as Tandi intended.
It's 3 am, you're at home in bed, and you hear a bump in the night. You go to check it out. Are you using your NODs and laser? Are you using your optic and white light? Vis laser and white light? What's your plan?
Tagging the NODs gang @you-stand-corrected @woodlandenjoyer @bigredm38-6 @libertbill @candrtactical and anyone I missed.
