Hololive is absolutely a scummy company too but I'm pretty sure dez and vesper quit on their own bc they didnt like working there as opposed to being fired
As far as I know, they've never come forward about why
People speculate everything from contract renegotiations that didn't go through to copyright issues (since they both received new models just weeks before they went radio silent) and everything in between

Aaaaah, i went to check if oliver evans played the great ace attorney chronicles and while he did he only played the adventures and not resolve. Even more pain is that he didn’t completely finish adventures. He stopped when the trial did so he didnt get to hear the morse code message or see susato leave

I was pondering if I could perhaps make a request for Beidou with an S/O who's scared of the ocean, from a traumatic experience during their childhood. As well as maybe Beidou helping her S/O overcome their fear?
Also, just wanted to say that I see you're a man of culture as well, a fellow Vtuber enjoyer 😉

Y'know, I've always wanted to become a Marine Biologist, but I have a fear of the open ocean.
Besides, after playing Subnautica and seeing what's in our actual ocean, whatever the hell's down there can STAY DOWN THERE
And the only VTubers I watch are Hololive. Holotempus is like an anime version of the old youtube gaming groups from the early 2010s, and I love them.
Beidou loves the ocean, far more than she will ever love the land.
However, she understands why S/O is afraid of it.
The waters are just as dangerous as it is beautiful. And that's not even saying what lies underneath it.
Tactfully not mentioning that part, she holds S/O's hand as she brings them to the Crux, making sure the deck is clear so it's just them.
(Beidou) "If you need me to get you off, say the word."
She is extremely understanding and patient whenever they have the time to have S/O get used to the feeling of being on a boat.
Most shockingly of all, she does not even think of touching the alcohol on board until she's 100% certain S/O is okay without her on the Crux.
Beidou wants to invite them to be on board whenever they set sail, but she'll wait as long as she needs to.
The moment they ask her to sail with the crew, the biggest smile in the world forms on her lips as she gives them a near bone-crushing hug.
If things get too dicey, she usually has them stay inside her cabin, especially if there was a storm brewing.
But when things are just right, she'll bring them to watch the sun shining on the waters, smelling the salty air and feeling the wind.
(Beidou) "This is what the ocean has in store for you, besides all the rocking and shaking. It's why I love it as much as I love you."
(S/O) "It's...really pretty."
(Beidou) "As much as yours truly?"
(S/O) "Hm...Maybe a bit more."
Beidou gives them a light jab on the shoulder, chuckling.
(Beidou) "Well you ass, guess you don't need me to help you out here anymore then!"
(S/O) "W-WAIT! I WAS JOKING!"
She couldn't help but laugh at their reaction, bringing them in close with one arm.
Beidou celebrates by having a toast with S/O on the deck as the waters gently rocked the boat, both watching the ocean and its splendor.
It would be a bit longer for S/O to get anywhere remotely comfortable to be on the ocean without her, but this was a start.
And the fact they wanted to try meant all the world to Beidou.

HoloAdvent Debut Reactions
So we're finally getting another HoloEN generation and Lisa and I decided to fuck up our sleep schedule (I mean not that there's gonna be much of a sleep schedule left once BG3 comes out next week) to watch the Debuts live and I'm gonna write down my thoughts about them so lets get to it...
first up Shiori Novella
-this loading screen is somehow comfy and spooky at the same time... weird
-wow... not the voice i was expecting from that model
-"Age: eye-don't-know"... oh god we have another Ina
-well that was... certainly a story...
-i literally never heard of any of these books... but to be fair i only ever read like 15 books if you don't count the ones that i was forced to read in school
-hey, i recognize some of these cartoons... well i recognize blues clues... and I've heard of courage and south park
-so she likes harvest moon huh
-i also don't recognize any of her husbandos, anime or games... am i old or are these just very niche (I'm old... the answer is I'm old)
-eating with scissors... why?
-story-driven games... that's interesting could we finally have another Kiara?
-would you look at that... my phone finally got the notification that her debut stream is starting... thanks YouTube...
-Lisa: "oh god she dresses like me when i was 16"
Me: "well, let's be real you tried that for like a week before you decided it was too much work and went back to wearing sweatpants and t-shirts"
-everything at 9pm CST... sometimes i hate living in Europe...

So those two were pretty fun now back to sleep and then the other two Debuts tomorrow...
Nerissa Ravencroft
-okay I like her voice
-is it just me or can her model turn around pretty far compared to other vtubers... it almost seems like that already is a 3d model
-175cm... we have a new tallEST Hologirl... we still don't have a TALL Hologirl...
-pepperoni + pineapple pizza... i'm okay with either of those on its own but not both of them together you should never mix savoury, sweet, sour AND spicy (wait I just remembered americans mean salami when they say pepperoni... that's fine)
-doesn't like underwear... artist are gonna have a field day with this...
-doesn't like mushrooms... likes Zelda, Mario, FF7... she's quickly becoming my favourite
-she's also the first one where I know at least two of her favourite anime, Naruto and sailor moon
-i mean who doesn't like binge watching (if I have to wait a week for the next episode I will forget what happened in the last one)
-500.000 subs... well she's already halfway there...
-ah Keffiy-papa should have known
-aaaand there it is... 7 pm CST...

-not sure about these overly cute voices
-okay maybe it's the sleep deprivation but i'm having a hard time following what they're talking about

-IT'S THE BGM! THE BGM IS TOO LOUD! That's why I can't understand them...

-nice song... but that's all I can really say about that... i'm not really a big music girl
-wait 16:00 GMT... that's... almost a good european time... no wait that's just their morning streams not their main ones... Fuck
Well that was fun. Out of all five girls I think nerissa is my favourite but we'll see how that works out in the future... kinda hard to tell in just 45 minutes... anyway i'll need to get ready for work now so I can't write anything more detailed...
