I sunk 24 hours of rendering into this piece so MAY AS WELL POST IT

I had to design and illustrate an underground city for my concept art class, and decided to go with subterranean aliens building a vertical metropolis! I’m very inexperienced and no real good with xenobiology, so they ended up like walmart brand bug ferrets….. but I’m definitely happy with the style of architecture!!

For context, I have read many sad and angsty of both books and fanfics and almost none of them made me cry except for a few. Rns is one of these. and on TWO OCCASIONS has it made me cry! (Once with Tanguish and Helsknight's fight and again with the stab :[ )

Episode 12 | When Missing Him is Torture

God these two scenes really hurt me. Prapai’s quiet disappointment and deflation when Joy tells him that Sky hasn’t been at his dorm for days. His expression is one of complete helplessness. He’s just so incredibly worried about Sky, and it’s killing him that he can’t do anything about it. Just the simple act of being able to send him food is no longer being received. He just wants to know that Sky is okay. This really shows that Prapai is also completely at the mercy of Sky. He has no choice but to yearn, and worry, and wait whilst Sky avoids him.

And Sky is just being completely and utterly eaten up by how much he misses Prapai. He tells Sig that Prapai’s interest in him was only because he found him refreshing - like a new toy. He’s pained by the fact that he misses this man who seemingly hurt and played him. He realises just how much of a constant Prapai has become in his life, to where nothing feels right without him. Prapai’s unwavering, warm and steadfast reassurance by his side now haunts every memory and every place.

au where narec and ventress both survived and returned to the temple to help when the war broke out, thus creating the galaxy's most vicious rivalry-slash-partnership between Asajj and Anakin. just bringing an absolute "it's rotten work, especially to me, especially if it's you, I'll do it but fuck do I wish I didn't have to" vibe every time they have to cover each other's backs, and gloating when the other gets in trouble with the council, but never dreaming of letting anything actually bad happen to the other because that would make Obi-wan, their mutual bestie, sad :(

#i know 'obsession' isn't a canon work any more but obi-wan directly compares the two of them and imo he's right #they're similar at the core but express that deep seated rage very differently #i think canon ventress has had to learn to rely on no one & take care of herself and thus has the personality of a cornered animal #whereas Anakin has been surrounded by others caring for him but depending on him way too strongly so he's more of an explosive #anakin gets in trouble for taking wild risks and relying on luck. ventress has never trusted luck so she just starts blasting.#obi-wan has a migraine from dealing with them both while under pressure but they're the only ones interested in matching his wit #and he does care for them both dearly so he has accepted that he is permanently holding their shared brain cell while they menace people #star wars

Finally finished RWRB, and I'm in awe. I already loved the movie, and I knew I would love this book, but I'm not over this fluttering feeling in my chest. As a queer writer and reader, this has filled me with so much joy. Such an inspiration to keep fighting for queer love and joy. And the way I relate to Alex so much😭. Never have I related and saw so much of me in a character.
