Having thoughts about fae prince Eddie and Steve who gets lost while drunkenly walking through the woods behind his house. He'd thrown a party, something he barely does anymore, and made a pretty impressive dent in his father's expensive alcohol collection. He just wanted fresh air, wanted to wiggle his toes in the dirt and maybe lie on the floor and watch the moon, but he ends up accidentally wandering into Eddie's territory.
Which should be impossible because there are wards and countless barriers to keep his kind out. Eddie feels his magic shudder all the way in his palace when Steve stumbles through the barrier and he instantly believes Steve to be a hunter. They are the only ones that know their way around Eddie's wards. He assumes Steve was sent by the humans to infiltrate his kingdom and kill Eddie; his magic is the only thing keeping his people safe, if he's gone the hunters will be able to eradicate his people.
The humans don't like them very much.
Steve's barely sober when he's taken before Eddie and made to kneel in front of his throne, the only thing he can giggle out is, "You're pretty."

Maybe something Pebble- related for Boulder? Since a pebble is a small rock whereas a boulder is large, it could symbolize him being "broken into pieces" that way.
Pebblestrike?
I thought about that, but Brokenstar's edgy. If pebbles are involved it would be about like... breaking them. Pebbles are little and cute.
Maybe gravel instead? That feels less cute and more smash-y
Gravelstrike, Gravelfall, Gravelburst... Gravelstorm maybe? And then I can use the Clanmew word for a sudden, violent storm as if a rock is exploding into gravel...

Thinking about a steddie time loop fic but instead of it being from Steve's pov as he tries to save Eddie over and over again, it's from Eddie's. Everytime the loop resets, Eddie becomes more and more aware that he's done this before. This isn't the first time he's held Steve's hand while dying, he can feel the memory of it itching at the back of his mind. "We've done this before, haven't we?" He croaks out, blood dribbling down his chin as he stares up at Steve, who is cradling his head in his lap and sobbing. He looks so tired. "You have to let me go, Stevie." He squeezes Steve's hand weakly and when he feels his eyes slip closed for what feels like the 100th time, he doesn't wake up again.
