I want to. I really, really want to.

And it’s lovely or noble or possibly misguided of BigHit not to go for the charts with this release. For that kind of money they really might as well.

Nope. Shipping to the US from Global is at least double that, maybe more, because of the weight. Nice try though.

The standard version alone is a brick, this thing is a concrete behemoth, it’s at least 3 kg minimum, it’s simply not possible.

I want to, y’all, but I just can’t do it. I’m literally flying to an eastern shore in October for that kind of money. This is concert ticket kind of money. If I could crowdfund it I would but everyone who would donate is an ARMY and y’all deserve your own copy.

I love you, BTS, and I have no doubt it’s worth every penny. Especially with whatever this is:

See the thing about BigHit is they kinda hate defamation soooo

DELUSIONAL THEY SAID. TRIED TO SETTLE AND FAILED THEY SAID. BIG HIT IS COMING FOR YOU TOADLICKKERS. Seriously, they are. They won't go after the Western accounts first, but guaranteed they are sick and tired of boundaries getting crossed. And here lately we have seen some very public, very defamatory bullshit being perpetrated on our guys by a very specific subset of the fandom.

So there's a line, and the line is DO NOT BE TRYING TO OUT PEOPLE IN PUBLIC. Especially if they have already told you point blank to GET OUT YOUR IMAGINATION.

Outing someone without their consent is abusive behavior. It's reprehensible and inexcusable. And the problem with showing up at airports and parades and LYING ON THEM ONLINE and showing on fucking VLive IN THEIR FACES FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE acting like entitled dumbasses is that the fans don't see it as abuse.

And honestly neither did the guys, probably, at first. Initially it was the price of fame and yeah, it was stupid, but harmless. For the good of the group, they tolerated it. Until it crossed the personal safety line and they realized... they're being abused. BTS will put up with a lot of shit but they don't tolerate abuse by the people who claim to love them. As solo artists but also as members of BTS, I think we are only beginning to see the fuck-you mode that these grown adult men are capable of. They've put up with bullshit long enough.

I'd think really long and hard before I showed up in an airport, or at a parade, or even online holding a big-ass Taekook delusional statement from now on.

I gotta get to a bank and put some money up in there stat. LIKE NOW. We'll deal with this "anthology three new songs" stuff when I get back but I have THOUGHTS and they're not all frightening. Kim Seokjin’s wonky hypermobility picked a bad time to go south:

I’m not a doctor so I’m not out here diagnosing the man with Ehlers-Danlos or anything like that, but the hypermobility in Jin’s fingers is the second most interesting weird finger situation in Bangtan.

Apparently he flexed an extensor just a bit too far and now he’s had surgery and is casted and that is not comfy just ahead of travel and Grammys and Vegas in general.
