can you explain why knives needed vash for his plan? is vash's power giving plants life?

So from what I gather, Vash is unique in his ability to both give and take from the higher dimension, which is the place where all plants get their energy from, and that's what humans use them for. (This is also where Conrad says their souls are instead of their bodies (possible bullshit, given the unreliable narrators we have), and also given Vash's conversation with Rem in episode 12 it's possibly connected to the afterlife???) Or, at the very least, Vash is different from most other plants, as they can only take. His power has been compared to something black hole-like, but I won't bore you with quantum physics since we don't know exactly what they mean by that yet, exactly.

In order to access and enter the higher dimension to rip souls free and shove them into the plants' bodies to birth independent plants, Knives needed to use Vash as a gate, as a tool, to open Vash up and let himself in so he could funnel that power out through Vash.

At least, that's just what I've gathered from watching Tristamp... way too many times and reading meta as I go. I'm probably a bit off in this explanation, so anyone feel free to add on anything I missed! I think we're going to get way more in-depth in the following season/s with the plot threads left hanging after episode twelve. Hopefully this makes sense! :'D

i think, finally, after a year of living in this flat, i have found a solution to my Craft Hell Zone problem!!!!

it involves me continuing to do ill advised furniture tetris as well as hoping to god that the shelf i got actually fits the way i think it will. its a duplicate of a shelf i got for my living room last fall that i really like which, by measurements, has a quarter of an inch clearance between the top of my desk and the top of my wife's desk, except my desk is a vanity with beautiful curvy legs that have been the bane of my existence for the entire time ive had it. these legs mean the shelf, by measurements, is a quart of an inch *too wide* to fit in the space

but

the shelf

has a metal frame and open sides

meaning i should be able to slot the curve of the offending vanity leg into the open space of the side of the shelf and have just SO MUCH MORE storage for my eight million crafts

for context, The Craft Hell Zone, in its current iteration

it stresses me out so bad 🥲

what's your favourite cube in your cube collection?

awUAH FUCK this is such a difficult question. they all serve their own specific purpose so well. like, the colour one has the pretty colours, and the puzzle one gives me 3-for-1 puzzles, and the photos one lets me look at my dog and brother in my desk, and the trisected one splits up all cool like, and the minecraft diamond one is minecraft, and the flashy light up mirrors one lets me gaze upon infinity on a whim and ponder its secrets and also is a good night light ^^

just. yeah! they all perfectly serve their own unique functions! alas, i cannot choose

I think my biggest hot take is that a lot of people in the Fandom take the life series way too seriously.
