strange case characters and if they would peel a orange for someone (character study kinda)

henry jekyll- he would peel a orange for someone but most of the time he really dosent want to, he just needs to keep up appearances. Grimaces a little and gives a forced smile while he does it

edward hyde- takes the orange like he’s gonna peel it but either throws it or eats it himself. Probably walks away with it in his hand or eats it in front of the person

gabriel utterson- peels it but dosent say anything while doing it but the silence isn’t awkward, it’s pleasant

hastie lanyon- peels it and gives some fact about nutrition while he does it or some personal story that involves oranges (the story has no punchline to it or shocking thing that happens, but he tells it like it’s the funniest thing that ever happened)

poole- peels it and does a really good job at it

richard einfield- terrible at peeling oranges, punctures the slices with his thumb when he does it and it gets all sticky

They have given me information that there is a Bar called "Dr. Jekyll" in my city. Now I feel obliged to go 😂😂

I read the menu and there are drinks with the names of the chapters of the novel or part of the name of the novel:

(Why does "Un Extraño Caso" (A Strange Case) have gummy bears??? I don't know but I love it and I'm going to try it.)

There is food with the names of the characters:

(The Lanyon burger looks interesting. And yes, the "Utterson" burger is the standard burger.😂)

They also told me that it has an outdoor area where there is a stage. That area of the bar is called "Mr. Hyde" and is usually only available at happy hour in my city.

Loved the dedication they put into the place. I also read very good comments about the menu in general and the location. So I know where to drag my friends next time we go out 🤣

#They also told me there is a Frankenstein bar but that is a “secret bar”#Or “hidden bar” as they are usually called in my city #Which means that only those who are invited to go or people who know someone who has access can enter.#There are like three or four bars of that kind and all I know is that they are difficult to access and very suspicious 😶#They send you a message with a location and when you arrive #They cover your eyes and take you to the bar.#They are disturbing but many like them to be hidden. I find it really interesting that all three of Utterson, Lanyon, and Jekyll are introduced in the context of wine and drinking in a way that says something about their individual characters.

Utterson enjoys wine, but drinks gin when alone to avoid indulging, and when he does drink wine in the company of friends, it brings out something more human and lively in his eyes, even if he remains quiet.

Lanyon is drinking wine by himself at dinner when Utterson visits him, so unlike his friend, he's perfectly fine with privately indulging in wine and isn't at all embarrassed or ashamed that Utterson walked in on him enjoying himself.

Jekyll is hosting a dinner party where everyone is a good judge of fine wines, painting him as a socialite who loves hosting and indulging in the company of others, where drinking is a social activity, and it goes along with how he seems to be the most free-spirited and self-indulgent of the three; it's also here where Utterson is given the opportunity to indulge in the company of friends, as per his personal habits; interestingly, the way Jekyll talks about his connection to Hyde also has overtones of addiction and alcoholism once he and Utterson are alone together afterwards.
