In the first five months of 2023, Anubhav Sinha managed to release as many as three films in cinemas. Faraaz, directed by Hansal Mehta, was the first release. This was followed by his directorial venture, Bheed, based on the sufferings of the migrants in the lockdown. Afwaah, directed by Sudhir Mishra, was recently released. These films didn’t click at the box office but got massive acclaim from most moviegoers and critics. Anubhav Sinha was in a relaxed mood as he spoke exclusively with Bollywood Hungama about these films, being one of the few brave voices in the industry and a lot more.

The Indian Film and Television Directors Association (IFTDA) has been hosting a Master Class with top filmmakers from the Indian film industry where they discuss not only their success and achievements, but also the process of their individual style of filmmaking and sharing their life experiences.

Hansal Mehta, director of 'Scam 1992,' Citylights, and Faraaz, has now been added to the list. On April 7th, he was invited to take part in a Masterclass at Juhu's Iskon Auditorium. Notably, Juhi Babbar Soni, an actor, writer, and director, moderated the Masterclass and interacted with the special guest. Noted Producer & President of IMPAA Abhay Sinha felicitated Hansal Mehta & Juhi Babbar Soni.

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta said “I believe we learn from each others & for me it's a great platform where I can share my experience and whatever I have learnt so far with upcoming actors, filmmakers and others.” He also spoke about his latest film Faraaz which is trending on top from a very long time on Netflix.

For students of film and television, Hansal Mehta shares his experience and sheds light on his journey, including the creative and technical aspects of filmmaking. He also discussed the trend of long-form storytelling and the challenges that current filmmakers face, as well as shared golden words of wisdom about embracing failure and giving new talents a chance.

Oct 06, 2022 14:16 IST New Delhi , October 6 (Always First): Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan, on Thursday treated fans with a glimpse from the sets of her upcoming movie with filmmaker Hansal Mehta on social media. Taking to her Instagram stories, the 'Jab We Met' actor dropped a behind-the-scenes picture.

In the picture, Kareena was seen getting ready for the shot in the vanity van. Sharing the picture, Getting ready for Day 1 Tom..." she also tagged the ace director Hansal Mehta and Ektaa Kapoor. Kareena is currently in London for the shoot. Reportedly, it's the debut film of Kareena as a producer. And Hansal's next flick will be backed by Ektaa Kapoor. A month ago, Kareena dropped a picture from the project's script reading session. In an Instagram picture, there is a script spiral book with the title of the film written on it. Though, the 42-year-old actor didn't reveal the full title, only, 'The' and 'Murder' could be seen rest she hid with a pencil on it. On working with Kareena, Ektaa has earlier shared, "Kareena has been an actor with a huge, admirable (almost envious) body of work... and while her male co-stars turned producers in due course, she's finally joined the bandwagon now! I've always believed that women have an equal part or play in the business and success of a film."Ektaa added, "It's been a hard journey, but an encouraging & happy one!
