A Plan for the First 10 Days of Dhul-Hijah
The Best Days of the World
1. Intention
Make the intention for your deeds to be sincerely for Allah ﷻ during these days, and have the conscious intention to expose yourself to the blessings of Allah ﷻ.
Whoever is sincere towards Allah ﷻ, Allah ﷻ will be sincere towards him (meaning He ﷻ will fulfill his wishes).
2. Repentance
Make a table of all the sins that you want to pledge to Allah ﷻ that you will stop doing them.
The Conditions of Repentance:
1. Abandoning the sin completely.
2. Feeling remorse for what has already happened (of sins).
3. Having the firm intention never to return to the sin ever again.
3. Praying
The Five Daily Prayers (in their Fixed Times)
Leave everything behind you as soon as you hear the azaan and get up and pray.
"The best of deeds is prayer during its earliest time."
Remember, you will be doing what our Lord ﷻ loves the most.
4. As-Sunan Ar-Rawaatib
12 Raka'ahs everyday.
(2 before Fajr -4 before Zuhr and 2 after it - 2 after Maghrib-2 after Isha)
"Whoever prays in a day and night 12 raka'ahs voluntarily, Allah ﷻ will build a house for him in Paradise."
Imagine🤍🙏🏻
5. Night Prayer
Any even number of rakaahs, and end them with one rakaah of Witr and make du'a for everything you want.
"And pray during the night when the people are asleep, and you will enter Jannah in peace."
What more could you want?!
6. Duha Prayer
Two to eight raka'ahs, any time between 15 minutes after sunrise till 15 minutes before Zuhr.
It is a daily charity for every joint in your body.
(Also known as Chaast or Awwabeen Prayer.)
7. Fasting
Have the intention to fast the first 9 days of Dhul-Hijjah, as the Messenger ﷺ of Allah ﷻ used to do, especially the Day of 'Arafah.
"Fasting the Day of 'Arafah, l anticipate that Allah ﷻ will expiate (through it the sins of) the year before it and the year after it."
8. Quran
Our goal is to finish reciting the whole Qur'an at least once (during these 10 days):
Day 1 - From Surat Al-Fatihah till the end of Surat Ale 'Imraan.
Day 2 - From Surat An-Nisa till the end of Surat Al-An'aam.
Day 3 - From Surat Al-A'raaf till the end of Surat At-Tawbah.
Day 4 - From Surat Yunus till the end of Surat Ar-Ra'd.
Day 5 - From Surat Ibraheer til the end of Surat Al-Kahf.
Day 6 - From Surat Marlam till the end of Surat Al-Mu'minoon.
Day 7 - From Surat Ash-Shu'araah till the end of Surat Al-Ahzaab.
Day 8 - From Surat Saba till the end of Surat Fussilat.
Day 9 - From Surat Ash-Shura till the end of Surat Al-Hadeed.
Day 10 - From Surat Al-Mujadilah til the end of Surat An-Naas,
9. Zikr
(Remembrance of Allah ﷻ)
Let your tongue be busy with:
100 times at the very least
“and mention the name of Allah ﷻ on known days” (al-baqara: 203)
10. Azkaar
(Let these Azkaar also be a part of your day)
1. The azkaar of the morning and the evening.
2. The azkaar after every prayer.
3. Repeating the azaan and the du'a after it.
4. The azkaar before sleeping.
Write down some examples of these azkaar on paper and stick/hang them up where you usually walk.
(meaning where you'd see them a lot, just to be reminded of them as much as possible).
11. Du'a (Supplication)
Write down every single thing you've ever wanted and keep supplicating to Allah ﷻ again and again for it everyday (especially in Sujood, between the azaan and the iqamah, and during the last one-third of the night).
And persist in making even more du'a on the Day of 'Arafah.
And watch all your wishes come true after a while in sha Allah ﷻ.
12. Supplicating for Others
Assign a portion of your du' a for at least a hundred people. Choose ten people everyday from your family, spouse, friends, teachers, and anyone who has ever benefited you in any way, and make alot of dua for them, from your heart.
And make du'a for all the Muslims:
"May Allah ﷻ forgive me and my parents and the believing men and the believing women and the muslim men and the muslim women, alive and deceased"
13. Charity
Do not let a single day go by without giving out some charity, even if it is just a small amount.
Think of ten needy people that you want to help, or put a little money in a cash box everyday and take out and give away the whole amount on the last day.
14. Maintain the Ties of Kinship
Give a call or leave a message everyday to one of your extended family members.
The message can be as follows:
"How are you t/n? l hope you are well. I just wanted to let you know that l am remembering you a lot in my du'as today.”
15. Reviving a Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ
Aim to do a Sunnah act everyday, with the intention of reviving the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ
For example:
- Saying Bismillah (before starting anything).
-Sitting down while drinking.
Starting with the right hand or right side (when doing certain things).
- Reciting the opening supplication (in the prayer before reciting Surat Al-Fatihah).
- Performing Wudu before going to sleep.
- Reciting the prescribed dua after making Wudu.
16. Prohibitions
Beware of wasting the best days of the world and the greatest days of worship in:
Watching TV
Social Media
Backbiting
useless talk
Sleeping too much
Perhaps you may never get these days again.
may Allah ﷻ accept from us all, ameen 🤍

Tumblr media
Tumblr media

Persiapan Umroh Perdana
Pernah berdoa, “Ya Rabb, semoga kelak bisa umroh sebelum usia 30 tahun.” Berdoa saat masih di bangku putih biru. Dan ternyata Allah kabulkan di usia 28 tahun. MasyaAllah tabarakallah.
Menambah semangat ibadah :)
Semoga dikuatkan langkahnya untuk menjadi tamu Allah.
Biidznillah, man jadda wa jada.

Narrated Mu'adh bin Jabal: "I accompanied the Prophet (peace be upon him) on a journey. One day I was near him while we were moving so I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Inform me about an action by which I will be admitted into Paradise, and which will keep me far from the Fire.' He said: 'You have asked me about something great, but it is easy for whomever Allah makes it easy: Worship Allah and do not associate any partners with Him, establish the Salat, give the Zakat, fast Ramadan and perform Hajj to the House.' Then he said: 'Shall I not guide you to the doors of good? Fasting is a shield, and charity extinguishes sins like water extinguishes fire - and a man's praying in depths of the night.'" He said: "Then he recited: 'Their sides forsake their beds to call upon their Lord.' Until he reached: 'What they used to do.' [32:16-17] Then he said: 'Shall I not inform you about the head of the entire matter, and its pillar, and its hump?' I said: 'Of course O Messenger of Allah! He said: 'The head of the matter is Islam, and its pillar is the Salat, and its hump is Jihad.' Then he said: 'Shall I not inform you about what governs all of that?' I said: 'Of course O Messenger of Allah!'" He (peace be upon him) said: "So he grabbed his tongue. He said 'Restrain this.' I said: 'O Prophet of Allah! Will we be taken to account for what we say?' He said: 'May your mother grieve your loss O Mu'adh! Are the people tossed into the Fire upon their faces, or upon their noses, except because of what their tongues have wrought'" Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2616 In-book reference : Book 40, Hadith 11 - Sunan Ibn Majah 3973 In-book reference : Book 36, Hadith 48

From Jehad Abusalim: "I've known Refaat Alareer (@itranslate123) since I was 17. He taught me my first English writing course. More than a teacher, he was a mentor, a friend, and he truly cared about his students beyond the classroom. His passion was the English language, but he didn't teach it as a means of disassociating from society, as is common among many English-speaking upper and middle classes in the third world. For Refaat, English was a tool of liberation, a way to break free from Gaza's prolonged siege, a teleportation device that defied Israel's fences and the intellectual, academic, and cultural blockade of Gaza.
When Refaat taught English to me and my friends, he ensured we read Malcolm X, or el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz, as he often reminded us to call him. He emphasized that learning a language requires understanding its culture and being critical and mindful that language is not free from questions of power and representation.
Refaat's journey in learning and teaching was filled with struggles. His life was challenging, marked by significant family losses. Yet, he persevered, fought back, and wrote back. One day, many of us, as Refaat's students, will share parts of his story. However, today, let's remember that Refaat has a family in Gaza mourning a loving father and husband. If we owe Refaat anything, it is to continue our fight until a ceasefire is achieved, until the destruction in Gaza ceases. So, #CeasefireNOW! (In the picture, Refaat, @YousefAljamal, and I on the Staten Island Ferry, a moment from Refaat's @GazaWritesBack book tour in the United States in 2014.)"

Pilgrimage certificate with illustration of the Ka'ba, Saudi Arabia or Iran, 1778 (1193 A.H.)
"This pilgrimage (hajj) certificate shows the holy city of Mecca, with the Ka'ba at centre and various monuments surrounding it. The style of domed arches that surround the map suggests that they may have been painted by Indian artists in Arabia. This image would have provided a way for the pious Muslim to imaginatively re-trace the path of pilgrimage, as well as to share that journey with those still waiting to depart. The inscription reveals that this certificate belonged to a woman, Bibi Khanum, who paid Sayyid 'Ali Wali to perform the pilgrimage in her place, perhaps due to poor health. The seal of Sayyid 'Ali Wali appears below, guaranteeing the completion of Bibi Khanum’s spiritual obligation."

I'm more than half-way through Dune now and I'm astonished by how profoundly infused this book is with Islamic themes and Arab history. I'm left with more questions than ever about this, and I can't help thinking that reading Dune without this knowledge would be like reading this book in the dark.
At one point, after Jessica and Paul are accepted into the Fremen, they inform her that they are called, among themselves, "the People of Misr." I was so amazed that I had to stop reading. Misr is the name in Arabic for Egypt (although, in local Egyptian dialect, it is pronounced more like "Masr"). The Fremen are, therefore, the many-times removed from Earth people of Egypt. I imagine them as the desert people, the bedouins of today, while the people of the villages must be the people of the cities in today's Egypt.
A few pages later, Jessica receives a vision of the history of the Fremen. She sees them settled on another planet, before Arrakis, but likewise colonised, and one of them screaming out that "They denied us the Hajj!" This was, markedly, written with an uppercase letter, while previously hajj with a lower case had been used to mark the smaller journeys over the surface of Arrakis, as the Fremen flee from the searching forces of the Harkonnens. This implies that the people were previously still making the trip to Mecca which is (conditionally, depending on finances and ability) incumbent on every Muslim.
'Muad'dib' was further clarified to mean, among the Fremen, not only a desert mouse, but a teacher, which is one of its true meanings in Arabic.
The term 'jihad' is also frequently used to indicate the religious struggle that Paul will lead. This was, markedly, left out of the most recent movie, for obvious political reasons (and, ironically, given the themes of colonialism the movies addresses, not a single Arab actor was cast), but jihad does not only refer to a military campaign, but also to the struggle to master the self, which is particularly potent within the context of the novels, given Paul's incipient Bene Gesserit training.
There were so many other things, but these phrases in particular truly leaped out of the pages at me.

Today we venerate Elevated Ancestor El-Hajj Malik El-Shabaz aka Brother Malcolm "X" Little on his 98th birthday 🎉
Tumblr media
A minister, scholar, orator, & legendary Freedom Fighter- who infamously bore the name "X" to signify our self-liberation from the shackles of a European legacy forced upon us during Slavery -, we elevate Brother Malcolm as one of THE most prolific voices of freedom, justice, self-determination, & Pan-Afrikan unity in modern history.
Born into a legacy of freedom fighters, Brother Malcolm was raised on the cusp between Black Nationalism unity & White Supremacist terror. His father was a member of Marcus Garvey’s Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA), in which he served as an orator publicly advocating for Black liberation before his murder.
Though a gifted student, Malcolm dropped out of school when a teacher ridiculed his aspirations to become a lawyer. He later drifted into a life of hustling on the streets of Harlem. He cleverly avoided the draft in WWII by making the outrageous declaration that he'd organize Black soldiers to attack their White counterparts which classified him as "mentally unfit to serve". After his burglary arrest in Boston, Malcolm faced 10 years in prison. Here, he found Islam via the NOI.
Upon his parole release, Malcolm took the name "X" as he began to serve in the NOI as a speaker, organizer, and minister. He quickly grew in his prominence & drew national attention after an expose on the NOI was aired on CBS. Both, Black & White Americans, saw the stark contrast in his/NOI views from that of other Black religious leaders/organizations of the time. Thus planting the first seeds of warped perception & fear.
Meanwhile, Brother Malcolm's personal views & interests slowly began to split from the leaders of the organization he'd come to love. Malcolm grew increasingly frustrated with the NOI's bureaucracy & outright refusal to join the Civil Rights Movement. His forbidden response to the assassination of JFK earned him a 90 suspension from the NOI; at which time he announced his departure from the organization.
In March 1964, he founded the Muslim Mosque, Inc. Three months later, he founded a political group called, the Organization of Afro-American Unity (OAAU). Malcolm firmly placed Black Revolution in a global context of an anti-imperialist struggle here, in Afrika, Latin America, & Asia. This is what set him & his work further apart from any Black leader & organization in the U.S. at the time. And this is what sparked the breadth of his influence & mapped out the future of his work.
Brother Malcolm toured North & East Afrika as well as the Middle East Region in the late Spring of 1964. He met with heads of state from several countries (i.e.: Kenya, Tanzania, Egypt, Ghana, Nigeria) before making his hajj to Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Here, he added "El-Hajj" to his Muslim name, "Malik El-Shabazz". This journey into the Motherland & Self brought Malcolm to the realization that his revolutionary vision/influence superceded any colour line.
Once he returned to the U.S, he infamously declared Pan-African unity amid struggle for freedom “by any means necessary.” This marked a turning point in Malcolm's life & revolutionary fight against White Supremacy on a global scale. He spent 6, albeit unsuccessful, months in Afrika petitioning the U.N. to investigate the Human Rights violations of Black Americans by the U.S. Government. From then on, threats to his safety and that of his family & the OUAA mounted. Still, he continued the fight until his assassination that was ultimately orchestrated & carried out by the CIA.
"If you’re not ready to die for it, put the word ‘freedom’ out of your vocabulary" - Malcolm X
Today, Brother Malcolm rests alongside his wife at the Ferncliff Cemetery in upstate NY.
We pour libations & give him💐 today as we celebrate him for his incomparable leadership, love, commitment, & sacrifice for the socioeconomic & sociopolitical freedom of our people.
Offering suggestions: libations of water, read/share his work, & prayers from the Quran
Note: offering suggestions are just that & strictly for veneration purposes only. Never attempt to conjure up any spirit or entity without proper divination/Mediumship counsel.

Ramadan Reminders
This ramadan is starting to remind me why its so important to listen to lectures about Islam.
Because they soften your heart
I’ve just listened to the story of Hajar (AS). Its a story I’ve heard a million times, from many different people. Of sacrifice, of sabr and tawakkul. Sometimes it clicks and sometimes it doesnt.
But as humans we often forget how despite - no infact because of her trials - she is remembered every single day.
In every hajj by millions who have to copy her actions of desperation to fufill basic tenets of their faith.
In every umrah that is completed.
Every single day.
Subhannallah.
How beloved must you be to Allah(swt).
For every muslim till the end of time to have to follow in your footsteps.
For men and women, old and young, rich or poor to follow your journey and remember your heartache.

Quote
What is a place? A memory of our presence, a memory of our absence. A separation sets the two apart. Sometimes the severing takes the shape of a mountain of sand that swallows a village. Sometimes it is a journey, a hejira, a hajj. What is a journey for? To remember, to forget.

The Life of The Prophet Muhammad(pbuh): The Battle of Tabuk and Afterwards
Hajj is Rendered Fard
Hajj, which is one of the five pillars of Islam, was rendered fard in the 9th year of the Migration.
“The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka: full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings:
In it are signs manifest; (for example), the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it attains security; pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to God―those who can afford the journey; but if any deny faith; God stands not in need of any of His creatures.” The Messenger of God recited a sermon to the Muslims when the verses above were sent down in the 9th year of the Migration and informed them about this fard as follows:
“O people! Hajj was rendered fard for you; perform hajj.”
When the Companions heard this sermon, they asked, “O Messenger of God! Is it fard every year?”
The Prophet kept silent; he did not answer.
When the same question was repeated for the third time, the Prophet said, “No, not every year. If I had answered your question as ‘Yes’, it would have been fard for you every year and you would not have been able to do it.”
The Prophet also taught the Companions the following regarding asking the same questions repeatedly.
“When I leave you as you are without proposing you anything, you leave me as I am. The nations before you were destroyed because of asking too many questions and opposing their prophets. Therefore, when I order you to do something, do it as much as you can; when I prohibit you from doing something, abandon it.”
The Prophet stated the following in another hadith:
“Islam has been built upon five things – testifying that there is no god save God, and that Muhammad is His Messenger; performing salah; giving zakah; performing hajj and fasting during Ramadan.”
The Prophet Postpones the Hajj He has Intended
When Hajj was rendered fard, the Prophet wanted to perform hajj. However, he later postponed it by saying, “The polytheists will be in the Kaaba and circumambulate it naked. I do not want to perform hajj unless this situation is eliminated.”
Indeed, the polytheists used to circumambulate the Kaaba naked at night, men and women together; they regarded it as respect to the Kaaba.
Hazrat Abu Bakr is Appointed as the Leader for Hajj
When the Messenger of God decided not to go to hajj, he appointed Hazrat Abu Bakr as the leader for hajj in the 9th year of the Migration so that he would lead hajj and show the Muslims how to perform hajj.
Hazrat Abu Bakr set off for hajj with three hundred Muslims from Madinah; when he arrived in Dhul-Hulayfa, the place of ihram for Madinans, he entered ihram and uttered talbiyah: “Labbayk! “Labbayk! Allahumma Labbayk! (Here I am, O God, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise and blessings are Yours, and all sovereignty, You have no partner.)
Hazrat Ali is Sent After them
A short while after the first hajj caravan of Islam left Madinah, the chapter of Baraa (at-Tawba) was sent down. The Companions said, “O Messenger of God! Will you send this chapter to Abu Bakr so that he will inform people about it.”
The Prophet said, “This declaration has to be made by me or someone from my household.”
According to the customs and traditions of Arabs, a treaty could be signed or annulled only by the leader of the tribe or one of his relatives.
Hazrat Ali was closer to the Prophet in terms of kinship. Therefore, the Messenger of God summoned Hazrat Ali and said, “Take this beginning part of the chapter Baraa.” Then, he said,
“When people gather in Mina on the day of sacrificing animals, call out loudly: No unbeliever can enter Paradise. After this year, no polytheist can perform hajj. Nobody will circumambulate the Kaaba naked. If anyone has a treaty with the Messenger of God, it will be valid until it ends; the treaties that have no periods of time will be valid for four months only from now on.”
Hazrat Ali wanted to find out why the Prophet wanted to send him.  He said,
“O Messenger of God! I am not old and I am not an orator.”
The Prophet said, “Either I or you will go. However, you will go. God will definitely strengthen your tongue and heart.”
Thereupon, Hazrat Ali set off from Madinah immediately. He went together with Abu Hurayra. They caught up with Hazrat  Abu Bakr.
Hazrat Abu Bakr asked him, “Are you the leader or an official”
Hazrat Ali said, “I am an official.” He explained the reason why he came as follows: “The Messenger of God (pbuh) sent me so that I will recite the people the chapter of Baraa and tell the people of the treaty that the treaties will be valid.”
Arriving in Makkah
The first hajj caravan led by Hazrat Abu Bakr arrived in  Makkah safely. Hazrat Abu Bakr recited a sermon. He told people how to perform hajj.
When Hazrat Abu Bakr finished his sermon, Hazrat Ali stood up and said,  “O people! I am the envoy of the Messenger of God.” Then, he recited the first thirty or forty verses of the chapter of Baraa (at-Tawba).
The first six verses of this chapter is as follows:
“A (declaration) of immunity from God and His Messenger to those of the pagans with whom ye have contracted mutual alliances.―
Go ye, then for four months, backwards and forwards, (as ye will), throughout the land, but know ye that ye cannot frustrate God (by your falsehood) but that God will cover with shame those who reject Him.
And an announcement from God and His Messenger, to the people (assembled) on the day of the Great Pilgrimage― that God and His Messenger dissolve (treaty) obligations with the pagans. If, then ye repent, it were best for you; but if ye turn away know ye that ye cannot frustrate God. And proclaim a grievous penalty to those who reject Faith.
(But the treaties are) not dissolved with those pagans with whom Ye have entered into alliance and who have not subsequently failed you in aught, nor aided anyone against you. So fulfill your engagements with them to the end of their term: for God loveth the righteous.
But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, then open the way for them: for God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. If one amongst the pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of God; and then escort him to where he can be secure: That is because they are men without knowledge.”
Then, Hazrat Ali said, “I am ordered to tell you four things.” Then, he informed the people about what he was ordered: “No unbeliever can enter Paradise. After this year, no polytheist can perform hajj. Nobody will circumambulate the Kaaba naked. If anyone has a treaty with the Messenger of God, it will be valid until it ends; the treaties that have no periods of time will be valid for four months only from now on. After that, there is no treaty or protection for any polytheists.”
Along with Hazrat Ali, Abu Hurayra sometimes declared the issues mentioned above loudly to the people.
After completing hajj, Hazrat Abu Bakr, Hazrat Ali and the Companions who were together with them returned to Madinah.

Umrah Duas – A Guide to Umrah {Package} Duas
Many pilgrims carry little booklets and chant specific du'as for every circle of the tawaf and sa’ee when they go for Umrah via All Inclusive Umrah Packages. Unlike popular perception, every round of these ceremonies does not have a specific du'a attached to it.
"In tawaf, there is no particular dhikr that was told from the Prophet (PBUH), that he ⷺ either enjoined, said, or taught," claims Shaikh ul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah. Instead, the believer may offer any du'a from the Qur'an and Sunnah while performing tawaf. There is no evidence for the precise du'a that many individuals mention saying should be recited beneath mizabs (downspouts) and similar objects. (Al-Fatawa, Majmu' 26/122)
Notwithstanding, the Prophet (PBUH) made prayers several times throughout Umrah, giving us examples to follow. Here is not an entire list of du'as from the Qur'an and Sunnah; you are free to make any kind of du'a during Umrah, including private ones for loved ones. Furthermore, you are not obliged to repeat your prayers only in Arabic. It is important to comprehend the significance of the du'as you recite rather than just reciting them.
Hopefully, the following list will act as a useful guide and enhance the significance of your Umrah experience. However, the following list of duas that the Prophet Muhammad PBUH prayed at different times and that one can recite during umrah
Tumblr media
When you set out on your journey, say a dua?
To enter the holy areas of Makkah, one must first prepare spiritually. It is advised to recite the Du'a al-Safar before departing the house to ask Allah for protection, direction, and support on your journey.
Prayer for the initial glimpse of Kabba
According to reports, the Prophet (SAW) offered some prayers when he first saw the Kaaba:
Saying the dua before entering Haram
Reciting the Tasbeeh, Tahleel, and Takbeer prayers is advised. It is advised to chant Tasbeeh, or Subhan Allah, before entering ihram (glory be to Allah). Takbeer, or Allahu Akbar (Allah is Most Great), and Tahleel, or La ilaha ill Allah (there is no creator except Allah). Bring the right foot first as you reach Masjid Al-Haram to conduct Umrah and say the following dua:
Du'a for Declaring Your Intent to Perform Umrah
After entering the Ihram state, recite two Sunnat-ul Ihram rakahs. Next, state some Arabic or translation words that you intend to conduct Umrah:
Recite the Talbiyah after Ihram
Start reciting the Talbiyah as soon as entering Ihram for the Hajj or Umrah. You should recite the Talbiyah as often as you can while traveling. It is advised to read it in every situation, whether you are standing, sitting, walking, driving, lying down, experiencing small or severe impurities, or going through menstruation. Umrah travelers should stop right before the start of the Umrah Tawaf. Three or more Talbiyahs should be performed, according to advice.
Given how frequently it is recited, you must comprehend its deep significance to deepen our relationship with Allah SWT. Insha'Allah, this will add a lovely richness to our dialogue with Him. As you approach Masjid Al Haram, say the du'a. Recite du'a and put the right foot first as you visit Masjid Al Haram to undertake Umrah.
Saying the Tawaaf dua
The term "tawaf" describes the act of walking counterclockwise in rounds around the Kaaba. One tawaf consists of seven complete rounds, each starting and finishing at the Hajar al Aswad (The Black Stone). Read dua when you face the black stone to make the purpose of the tawaf.
The Prophet PBUH would recite the dua when He (SAW) passed in front of the black stone and the Yemeni corner.
The sunnah is to proceed to Maqam-e-Ibrahim after performing the tawaf, pray two quick rak'ahs behind it, and then stand up right away after reciting the tasleem to make place for others, especially for those who wish to offer the two rak'ahs after tawaf. You need to say Dua while sipping Zamzam.
Praying for Sa'ii
Sa'ii is traversing the two hills, Safa and Marwah, seven times back and forth. When you ascend the Safa Mountain for the first time, you can say the following phrase from the Holy Qur'an:
Saying the Dua as you exit the Masjid-al-Haram
As you exit Masjid Al Haram after this lovely trip, you may read du'a.
Halaq
Pilgrims must shave or clip their hair after the Saeeh (Halaq or Qasar) within the Haram.
If not shaven, the hair should be clipped to a minimum of one inch or more.
For shorter hair than one inch, it must be shaved.
However, this isn't the preferable solution.
Women may create a ponytail and trim up to an inch from the bottom. They are not permitted to shave their head.
Conclusion
When you repeat du'as, keep in mind the purpose of your journey: to seek Allah SWT's blessings and mercy for all of humanity as well as the fulfillment of our own particular prayers. Hopefully, your Umrah journey reflects the principles of Islam and brings you spiritual growth, harmony, and tranquility. Get ready to embark on the sacred journey by selecting the finest December Umrah packages from New York available to you.
