The post I just reblogged and the long post I made yesterday have something in common. The reason why there are so many school shootings these days isn’t because of guns. Guns have ALWAYS been apart of many American lives. People used to take guns to school with them in rural areas to go hunting after with their friends, yet how many of them shot the place up? The issue isn’t the guns. People used to actually have family and societal structures which taught right from wrong and gave consequences to people’s actions. Guns are tools. People choose to use these tools for evil. Banning a tool doesn’t fix evil and broken people. If you want to solve the problem, fix society
