Y'all, the world is sleeping on what NASA just pulled off with Voyager 1

The probe has been sending gibberish science data back to Earth, and scientists feared it was just the probe finally dying. You know, after working for 50 GODDAMN YEARS and LEAVING THE GODDAMN SOLAR SYSTEM and STILL CHURNING OUT GODDAMN DATA.

So they analyzed the gibberish and realized that in it was a total readout of EVERYTHING ON THE PROBE. Data, the programming, hardware specs and status, everything. They realized that one of the chips was malfunctioning.

So what do you do when your probe is 22 Billion km away and needs a fix? Why, you just REPROGRAM THAT ENTIRE GODDAMN THING. Told it to avoid the bad chip, store the data elsewhere.

Sent the new code on April 18th. Got a response on April 20th - yeah, it's so far away that it took that long just to transmit.

Most of the opposition of UBI is 100% morally based, "what? You are just going to pay people without them having to work" I mean, yeah, every year a new profession is automated and becomes obsolete and objectively counter productive to be done by human labour, or it's inherently dangerous or harmful so it's not financially or socially profitable to keep doing it thought manual labor (aka agriculture)

Objectively speaking, UBI is the true step you need to have an advanced futuristic society, which is also why a lot of more trad conservatives are against it since what tradition is there in having robots and automation in most jobs they brag about being masculine or holy.

Also UBI morally justifies automation. If companies make 500% to 1000% more profit after automation, then even taxing then at 1% could keep entire states in the USA existing and have left overs.

Is just like land distribution, it works in both communist and capitalist systems for the same reason, and why both the USA and China did it: farm owners(not workers) are fucking lazy and entitled and leave billions of acres of land without productivity because it's "not profitable enough" for them since they will only grow whatever crop is the most profitable at whatever time is the most productive.
