I got it at the medieval fayre, handmade by a blacksmith - it’s not one of those slick, shiny, *usable* metal dice you can pick up in sets that include d4s, it’s a substantial hunk of probably unbalanced solid metal that would almost certainly damage anything I let it get to close to, which is why it lives in a plastic bag in the overflow dice bag. I love it.

I can't remember if I told you about a friend who once set a game in Jans Port.

Nope, you haven’t told me, and I’m afraid I also don’t know where Jans Port is or the import of the name - is it that when you google it all you get is a sports firm?

deity ideas!! The spooky evil god in the TTRPG I play has become fairly integral to some of Dom’s plot points, and my lovely DM @gryphic-zweihander gave me his blessing to take some of those god elements to create an original deity to use with Dom in my own setting, if I ever do stuff with them after the game. 

The god in the game, The Prince, is a sorta Nurgle-esque entity of decay, nature, royalty, the hunt, growth, etc. I broke down the core inspirations (Pan and the Erlking and the Wild Hunt) and remixed them into something that was pared down and more original flavor! I think I want to take it even further from the source than this, but I feel this is a solid first step. 

Haven’t named this god yet because I can’t think of anything good tho, we’ll see how much he changes as I keep working on this ALL I KNOW FOR SURE: he is the embodiment of “dumb as shit and loves to get pegged by his wife” energies at any and all stages of his existence

some of those good ol NPCs for the blades game! Props to @gryphic-zweihander for commissioning me for a chunk of these! SMILER is dead...for now. The wild leader of a former urchin gang, he cut a bloody path to the top. Not so bad in the criminal world, except a lot of that blood was from his own gangmembers, and some of them were children. He got taken out, but his ghost hasn’t been recovered...

ULF IRONBORN, a book npc who we love because he is terrifying. He’s the one who sliced out Dom’s eye, and a lot of the gold growth on their face. He made gold teeth out of it. Also died, but resurrected twice as pissed and he’s going to kill the whole party and retire with his bf to the Bahamas using our skulls as margarita glasses

PIDGE and ELIZA, two urchin kids. Former members of Smiler’s gang that he got rid of, who barely survived thanks to our characters intervening. Were later kidnapped to use as leverage. When our plan went south, Eliza’s throat was slashed to make a point, and she only survived thanks to Lou’s first aid and Dom’s fast action.

since they almost died twice Dom’s insisting the crew adopt them because jesus christ we can’t just tell them to Go Be Urchins again after that
