A big thing with me and particular styles is just... I do not do rules and limitations well. Perhaps on a good day I might fit goth slightly or grunge because goth and grunge tend to be more open about allowing thrifted clothes and Mashups of styles, but then I know me and there's definitely emo stuff that slips in, punk stuff, scene stuff, pastel stuff, rainbow stuff, vintage stuff... yeah that's my point lol. It's not fitting one zone ToT. Makeup is the same I do what I like and I'll experiment but even when I do it's usually something I adapt to parts I already like so it's not really falling fully into an established category of makeup style (except idk "basic" lol).

I can follow specific limitations when I absolutely must, like say there's a goth night then yeah I'll specifically do more of a strict goth mainly look, or if I'm going to a lolita meet-up I'll be more strict about the style. But in absolutely anything I'd wear on a regular day for me, or a dressed up day for me, I just don't usually stick to one thing..

this au would work really well with and alt/goth/punk girly. tattoos, piercings, and dyed hair to show off what a troublemaker you are. simon looking at you and wondering how you could be price's niece with this level of disobedience

you bite off more than you can chew with this man. believing you'd be able to get away with breaking his rules. every time you've attmpted to sneak out the house, you've been caught before you can make it down the street

after a while, simon started to wonder if he needed to change his approach with you. Instead of providing you with more chores or lowering your allowance for the week, he grabs your wrist and drags you to the bedroom and tosses you over his thigh, using his other leg to pin yours down

flipping your skirt other and delivering a sharp swat to your ass when you thrash and wail at him to get off of you,

"shut up and take it. had enough of tha' attitude of yours, pet." he growls, placing a hand between your shoulder blades to keep you still as he raises his hand

realises how much more effective this form of punishment is once he has you sobbing and pleading with him to stop, sobbing out that you're sorry and that you'll be good

maybe if he's feeling nice he'll let you sit in his lap and cry into his chest whilst he comforts you. his big, warm hand soothing over your back and hair as he shushes you

i had a lil hc thought. Wednesday getting sick.

The terrifying stoic goth girl sniffling and sneezing, but then pretending she’s healthy. No way she would admit to catching the common cold because “Wednesday Addams does not get sick.”

I feel this because I just got sick from my nieces and nephews 😪

It started with a sniffle. Just one. That was all it took for Wednesday Addams to buckle down and start preparing for the inevitable that no one else would ever see

You had been sick with a cold just the week before, and she had INSISTED she was fine because no, she doesn't get sick ever, that's for normies

Cue the present, where Wednesday is denying the fact that her nose is a little stuffy and her head is fuzzy and the sneezing is NOT coming from her, why would you even say such a thing

Every time you try to nonchalantly take care of her, she gives you the most terrifying look in the world. And she wouldnt even let you near her anymore

You try to sneak her some meds? She slaps your hand away. Try to make her some tea to help with her sore throat? She won't even touch it until it's cold and useless

"Fine, be sick then" you said with a huff after she ignored your third attempt to give her a cough drop

It took four days before Wednesday finally knocked on your door, wearing her giant jacket and doing her best not to shiver in the hallway

"I think I may be sick"

"Just shut up and get in here"

She complained the whole time, but she FINALLY let's you attempt to take care of her. But she still refuses to take the damn cough drops. You win some, you lose some

The Satanic Temple and Christian nationalists are on the same side

TST isn't engaging in "successful trolling" or undermining Dominionists; they are actively fueling a culture war that benefits both reactionaries and corporate Satanists

In general, people will call The Satanic Temple's activities “successful trolling” or “drawing attention to “the direct conflict between Christian Dominionism and the US Constitution”, claiming it’s the *reactionaries* who are falling for something every time.

In reality, the idea that the right wing is the one being hoodwinked assumes that they aren't benefitting from exactly this, and that these conflicts do not boost both sides taking part in it, each running their own grift for their own reasons.

Partially, this is because Doug "Lucien Greaves" Misicko and Cevin Soling (a.k.a. “Malcolm Jarry”) are fundamentally reactionary Gen X edgelords whose politics never go further left than right-wing libertarianism.

But the reason The Satanic Temple and the Christian nationalists are on the same side is that both of them materially benefit from pointing to the other as “the enemy”.

If Republicans didn't have TST, they'd want to invent them (and have). The Temple is their perfect foil.

These Satanic panics get both parties more attention, a higher profile, and more money as folk primarily motivated by anti-partisanship reflexively support something opposed by the groups that those folk hate.

“This’ll really piss off my conservative uncle/liberal niece.”

Yes, it seems like it’s fun and a good thing to watch The Satanic Temple piss off people you hate. But that feeling is exactly the lubricant that makes the grift work.

We've long said that the best way to describe The Satanic Temple to someone unfamiliar with them is "Scientology For Mall Goths".

So imagine instead it were Scientologists doing this.

Would you still root for them just because Republicans were the ones getting publicly mad?

If media only ever treated Scientology like merry pranksters, never getting into the front companies, treatment of former members, or histories of the owners of a corporate religion, would that be informing people of what’s going on?

Or would it be doing the exact opposite.

IK sometimes Bruce and Zatanna are friends, or just friendly tbh, but I want them to be like FRIEND FRIENDS. Like they were both semi-famous Emo Teenz™ growing up in the public eye! Come on now!

I imagine they're a little like sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Houdini, as in two silly little guys who could be hyper competent on their own but together are a walking, talking, unlikely friends comedy show.

Just thinking about emo Battinson and his goth Bff Zatanna who go on a spooky zaney adventures as teens whenever the Zataras are in Gotham. (This doesn't just apply to Battinson tho, observe)

Thinking about 16yrold Bruce needing to understand magic on a mathematical, scientific, and logical level and Zee being like " uhh, sorry bud we just say shit backwards it's like uh..it's like magic"

Thinking about them in their 20s, after Bruce's round the world in 80 days training montage, meeting John Constantine and being both DISGUISTED and kinda having a crush on him. ( It's the accent, they both think the accent is kind of hot, they will take it to their graves)

Also thinking about Zatanna showing up to Wayne manner to meet Dick for the first time looking at Bruce like " OH NO BRO! Baby??" And then immediately bonding with him because they're both performers and showmen at heart. (Aunt Zee is fun and cooky and will do magic anytime a nephew or niece asks, she will also let them wear the hat)

Not thinking about Zatanna coming to Wayne manor after her father's disappearance and death. (Or the way Bruce would feel gutted for one of his oldest friends having to experience his own trauma)

Not thinking about Bruce in the desperate throws of depression and grief after Jason's death or how Zatanna would come hold vigil beside him. Performing whatever magic rites she can to let Jason's spirit rest easy. (Bruce does not ask her to find a way to contact Jason, Bruce does not ask her to bring him back, he wants to tho so badly)

Anyway I just think it would be neat.

5 Characters The 2012 Writers Could Have Shipped 2012 Leo With Instead of His Sister

Because as much as I love TMNT 2012, it’s biggest flaw (in my opinion) was the awkward uncomfortable forced romance between Leonardo and Karai.

I’m gonna start this list with two characters from other TMNT incarnations that the 2012 writers could’ve added to their show and make them the love interest for Leo, then I will give a list of current 2012 characters that could have been good potential love interests for Leo (with some rewriting of course) that I feel would be better than him being shipped with and crushing on his sister.

Lotus Blossom

Originally from the 1987 series, Lotus Blossom was a female ninja Kraang hired to replace Shredder. Lotus was given the task to capture Splinter and defeat the Turtles and when first meeting her Leo was entranced by her beauty and skills as a swordsman.

Lotus only made two appearances in the 87 cartoon and never reappeared in other versions of TMNT (as of now), which is a shame because her and Leo have a cute dynamic and played off each other very well as both friends and romantic interests, so the 2012 writers could’ve brought this classic 87 character back like they did with so many others like Mona Lisa and Mondo Gecko.

I personally have two ideas for 2012 Lotus, one being she’s a warrior from the past that the Turtles meet while on another time travel adventure with Renet, OR she’s Mr. Murakami’s niece and she comes to New York to visits her uncle to help him with his restaurant and befriends the Turtles.

Koya

Bare with me, I don’t read the comics so I’m using knowledge from Wikipedia

Similar to 2012 Alopex, the writers could’ve brought another famous and beloved character from the IDW comics into the 2012 series. in the IDW comics Koya was Shredder’s pet falcon who eventually got mutated and became a scout and bounty hunter for The Foot Clan.

It is hinted that their is a romance between Koya and Leo, mostly from the character Lita who says that Koya has feelings for Leo (something Koya claims is a lie) and Lita even says that the two are together romantically in the future.

2012 Shredder already was growing his own army by recruiting mutants like Tiger Claw, I’m surprised he didn’t continue this by finding or creating Koya for his army.

Casey Jones

Could’ve ended the dumb capriltello love triangle. And who doesn’t love the reckless bad boy jock x nerdy responsible popular boy trope?

I’ve been getting really into Caseynardo lately and I think this would’ve been a fun pair to see in the show. The two rarely had moments together and its a shame cause even as buddies they are fun to watch.

I’d imagine that this romance would start to blossom by season 3. Casey is getting over April and starts spending more time with Leo while everyone else trains, keeping Leo company since he can’t join in because of his injury. Casey would offer to Raph for him watch over and take care of Leo while Raph continues to train his brothers and April, as a way to get some stress/responsibilities off Raph’s shoulders. During the farm house arc Casey would hang with Leo and the two would bond and learn they have more in common then they think (both are the older siblings of their families and would do anything to keep them safe). This would start their growing friendship and later blossoming romance that would develop more during the rest of the series.

Shinigami

Even though I headcanon Shinigami as a lesbian and I ship Shinirai hardcore, let’s consider Leogami so a moment. Leo would still get himself a goth kunoichi from the Foot Clan as a gf, but this time with the bonus of her knowing magic, and hands down being one of the most beautiful female characters in the show fight me

I mean seriously, they could’ve held off on Leo getting a love interest until Shinigami comes along. Also why give Mikey a second love interest when he already has Renet, creating a random love triangle, and never acknowledge/do anything with it??

Just replace all of Mikey’s scenes/moments of him showing attraction towards Shini and replace him with Leo and then BOOM, both problems are fixed! No pointless Mikey love triangle and no Leo simping for his sis.

Miyamoto Usagi

Hear me out! 2003 fans are probably already on board, but 2012 Usagi would need some rewriting if this were to happen if the 2012 writers consider this instead of leor*i.

Though his age is never confirmed in the 2012 series, it is speculated Usagi is a young adult in this version. Here’s what the 2012 writers should have done, rewrite Usagi as a teenager like they did with so many other classic characters for the 2012 series and have him and Leo build a friendship during the Samurai Turtles arc in season 5, with there being hints of a romance blooming between the young samurai and ninja by the end. But again, this would only work if Usagi was rewritten.

If they can turn April into a teenager and ship her with Donnie then they could’ve done the same thing with Usagi!

Proving that the people prefer bad bitches over good girls, Kuvira defeats Kuruk's dearly depated sweetheart, Ummi, with 85.1% of the votes

Grabbable waist tournament champion, Lin Beifong proves to be hotter than even the combustion bender P'Li, by nearly 85% of the votes. Fans threaten riots if she doesn't win the competition. I am scared.

In a round that had many voters in a crisis, good girl with a femme fatale face Asami Sato blows past Stacy's Opal's mom, Suyin Beifong with 75% of the votes

Rangi cements herself as the hotter Avatar lover, leaving Ta Min in the dust after garnering a whopping 89.1%

Though her mother may not be passing to round 2, Opal Beifong certainly will be, after ripping First Lady Buttercup Raiko to shreds with 86.4% of the votes

Firelord Izumi may be named after a fountani, but it was Master Waterbender Katara who made our voters squirt this round, as she wins qith nearly 80% of the votes. [I am so sorry I have no idea what came over me this bullet point]

Through the power of milfness, Yasuko Sato blows past Avatar Yangchen herself, with a respectable 63.7%

Sweet mommy Senna lambasts her husband's niece, Eska, charming her way into 72.1% of the votes

Avatar Kyoshi proves herself the superior boulder tossing babe as she takes Chief Toph Beifong to court , winning with 78.9%

Sadly, it seems Kya shall not be joining her husband Hakoda in Avatar hottie stardom as Avatar Korra takes the round by storm with 80.2% of the votes. Shame on you for once again seperating this lovely couple.

In the closest round by far, Zhu Li pushes past Pema with 57.7%, despite @airteacher's cashing in 20 votes for the latter. [I'm sorry man, if it makes you feel better I voted for ur wife]

Silver vixen Kya II absolutely OBLITERATES Poppy Beifong with a glorious 91% of the votes, gaining the highest percentage of votes this round

Mover star and certified bombshell Ginger slays CIA Dai Li puppet Joo Dee with 87% of the votes

Goth gf June whips past certified milf Naoki with almost 85%

Hei Ran proves herself worthy of being in this competition, and me a fool for forgetting her the first time, by defeating Ming-Hua with 74% of the votes
