in the swap au, wakaba lives and akechi has a confidant with her. the only problem is it's with her shadow and not the actual wakaba.

you see, i had to do some equivalent exchange and sacrifice sojiro in order for wakaba to live. it's currently too dangerous for akechi to be near the real wakaba right now because she may have quit working for shido, but she's too closely monitored not only by his agents but by her own daughter as well. if akechi were to contact her in the real world, a target would be put on his back. good thing he encountered her shadow first.

he stumbled upon the shadow completely by chance. it behaved differently from other shadows. much more like palace rulers. probably because she was on the cusp of developing one. the two only talked, akechi on guard in case she attacked and shadow wakaba just stays in her corner. they strike up a deal: in exchange for limited information of cognitive pscience (because shido would know when the phantom thieves know too much), he keeps her company and stop her from developing a palace by reminding her of reasons why she the real wakaba shouldn't give into her twisted desires.

her rank 10 would be changing her heart and sending her back to the real wakaba. after getting the final rank, if akechi goes to leblanc, the real wakaba would be waiting and give him a thank you note and a free meal. she'd also offer help during the whole "pretending the black masks actually killed him" thing.

i feel like i always write goro working and never relaxing

#this applies to ji too but ji is less likely to relax #goro on the other hand does #he might seem like he's always working #but at least one of him is relaxing or casually working #he spends a lot of time at different clubs he owns and bars #as well as luxury places and smoking cigars in his office #he likes to have a private drink and smoke with intimate company #he also has lovers #and 'friends' but they're more associates that he has a drink with #most are human btw #if not all #he really enjoys the company of humans and that is why he works with them the most #technically in my canon he's one of the few big like supernatural entities if not the only one outside of deng and ji hun but #for rp sake i like the variety

With all the Mutant Mayhem hype going on right now it kind of makes me confront how I personally I feel about the movie and how much... I don't care about it...

Like! It's not like I hate it by any mean, I'm glad people are getting new turtle content! It's just... I'm actually not the biggest TMNT fan...?

Like, aside from Rise, I'm not particularly super into the other shows or movies. I've watched almost all of them, and they're good! But just... they're not really for me...

If I can be completely honest here for a second. They are great! I had a good time watching them! But I also never want to see them again duifjvjedifkg.

Rise is a mayor exception in this tho! The show it's so different from the rest of the iterations, and that's a good thing for me since that difference kind of, accidentally, end up hitting every single box for what makes me love a cartoon so much!

I think I've rewatched the Rise show and movie more times that I can count! fhsgdde.

And from the trailers alone I'm still not super sold on MM. Mostly because it feels like more of the traditional stuff we get from TMNT...

I'm going to watch the movie, of course, and I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it! The same way I enjoy the rest of the TMNT franchise.

But idk man...

I miss Rise....

#My TMNT hot take is that 2003 and 2012 are mid and that the 87 show is better kgkfkfivkhlgo #This situation kind of reminds me of how I feel about the Persona series #(ironic considering p3 remake it's going to come out soon and I feel very similar)#Like... I like P4 and P3 #Especially P3 #But it's still no where near as much as I like P5 #Mostly because I just like the characters and the conflicts they have more in that game #Goro Akechi alone makes me love P5 a lot #Despite all the problems I have with it #I just feel like the bad stuff in the other games is so much worse and so much more annoying then the bad stuff you get in P5 #Which it's still bad #But not as much #Granted the bar is vary low with the Persona series #(My Persona hot take here then it's that I like the P3 movies better then all the P3 games combine dhdkkgbs)#Anyways...#Emm...
