this song did something to me i think

gone now is maybe jack's most fleshed out and realized album concept, that's why it's so goddamn good. the narrative sucks you in and it's constantly self-referencing, doubling back, trying to deal with the loss in a new way every track. even weaker tracks are enhanced by how rock-solid the narrative is and how the arc of the album draws you in from start to finish. it's phenomenal

found out that the show one of my favorite concert pics is from was tour 4 in australia and out of curiosity i looked up the setlist for them and their opener

my most boomer opinion is that listening to albums is important and owning a finite number of them is special. I think you should listen to your favorite album at least once a week in order. I think it good for a person to just have one CD in their car for six months straight. I think it help us learn commitment, buying an album and at first thinking it's okay but listening to it enough to really learn what it's about, what it's trying to get you to learn. I think albums are special and spotify ruined people's relationships with music
